I visited Round Rock Honda today intending to test drive two vehicles and explore purchasing options. Despite the busy Saturday, not a single salesperson acknowledged or greeted us upon arrival or while we looked at the vehicles in the showroom. A simple greeting or offer of assistance would have been the bare minimum. When I addressed this with the manager(Corey), we were met with excuses rather than accountability. This experience was disappointing and left us feeling completely disregarded as customers. If there was a rating lower than one star I would give that to this dealership. I'm going to First Texas Honda instead.

Continued... I was livid. This was beyond insulting, this was insane. The look in my eyes probably scared the guy, he literally ran away. Ran. I didn't think I was that intimidating. Few minutes later, like two... we hadn't even recovered from the shock of "the figures" ... we were still looking at each other like wtf... His boss comes steaming over, idiot in tow. The usual snake oil sales talk: "what can we do, I want to make you happy, blah blah f'ng blah... " Unbelievable. By now you can tell I'm not all that shy. I let him have it, spitting facts, all the facts. He takes it on the chin, says please wait, let me work on this. It's insane. It's like me walking your dog for ten bucks... I come back with a banana on the leash and tell you it's a great dane now... and it's papered, and everyone wants it, so now the fee for walking is five thousand. that's how insane this all was. if i wasn't there, I wouldn't even believe it. idioboss comes back. How about this.. numbers are now where they should be, exactly what i told idiojunior they were to be from the onset... except now the "price was higher." By a thousand bucks. I'm like, Hello... do you see your own paperwork? you know, this right here in front of you that you just put down on the table? do you SEE these numbers? How the &^% does it come out to that??? Well, the flibbetygib times the goobledygob makes the frangipanator blah blah... I'm like.. that's not what it says at all. It SAYS THIS. Blank stare. Dead eyes. I knew that nothing was going to change their ripoff scheme, it was baked in to their business model. Even the treatment of customers... unreal. More on that in a minute... because it's important. Long story short... I threw in another grand (I already did 500) just to get her out of there, have some security of transport, not being worried every time she turned the key, blah blah. Don't think I'm all some big sweetheart... she also recently went through the hardest thing in life... we both did, and not our divorce, that was twenty years ago. So she didn't need or deserve any more on her plate. So we did the deal, signed the paperwork. We were now at the SIX HOUR mark of being there. Are you flippin serious. Think we walked out then? Oh, hell no. ANOTHER HOUR LATER... and then only after I again loudly raised hell.... a thing you should NEVER have to do as a customer for ANYTHING.... we're sitting with the FI guy... and he's cool. He's not part of their clan. So I tell him... Sorry for being wound up coming in... but they're the reason. Only after the last signature was inked... did I tell him... and btw.... you'll be the only thing that escapes the wrath at the end of this... I'll be doing the only thing we consumers can do now... leaving a scathing... factual... review. He says, yeah... I know how you feel. This in not the industry I started with 17 years ago. Another couple and I'm out. You'd think this'd be the end of it... right? I mean, what else could they do? I put her in the car, send her off. She texts me a few days later... pic of the cop car in the rear view, she's getting pulled over. Why? BECAUSE THEY RELEASED HER INTO THE WILD WITH NO PAPER PLATE, NO TEMPORARY LICENSE TAG. Now, I'm just back in Tejas after a long stint elsewhere... so I'm not versed on everything here yet. Where I was, they just taped a tiny assed little strip of folded up license info into the same spot on every car's back window, cops knew what it was. I call the service manager the next day. Leave a terse message. He calls back shortly. Tense. The conversation was expectedly short. "you will fedex a temp tag to this person at this address today".... yessir, i will. they did. But here's the thing: All of the above, for starters. What kind of sadistic unwritten rule makes sense to them to treat customers... people who are there to spend big money... like some albanian refugee from mars garbage? The f? And how do you look yourself in the mirror... literally lying through your teeth to 80% of the people you talk to ever day? What kind of retarded groupthink is this? I recently bought a car myself. In a very distant state. drove it back. NO issues. If you have to be strongarmed and threatened to do your job... much less treat people like... people... then something is very... very wrong with your organization. Since i was in Dallas for a few days in the beginning of all of this, I did hit several other dealers, looking at their stock. Not one time did i get any kind of vibe or static like this. Think this is the end? oh, hell no. few days later, i get this: ok, there will have to be a part three... can't get the texts as photos to attach, so i'll have to type it all out. and i have other stuff to do, of course. we all have our lives to live. but because this is ... damned important... hopefully steer the next victim away from here. Me and my husband went yesterday to try and find the perfect vehicle. We are originally from San Antonio so we were running out of options but my husband was messaging with Ade from Round Rock Honda in Austin Tx and found the best deal. We took the chance of the 2 hour drive and it was so worth it! Ade made sure we got exactly what we wanted as far as walking out price, interest rate and even threw in a few extra things to accommodate us making the drive over. He was very sweet and the service/financing manager were also extremely amazing. Definitely would recommend going here. Ask for Ade!

We canceled a maintenance package on our 2026 Tundra and were told the refund would be processed to our lender within 60 days. That deadline has passed with no refund and no update. We have reached out multiple times to Ashton in finance, Elmer in sales, and even Mark the general manager--none have responded. Our lender confirmed they have received nothing from the dealership. Yet, the general manager, Mark seems to have plenty of a time replying to reviews here on Google if he thinks they can get the dealership a sale. At this point, it appears the issue is being ignored rather than resolved. We are now escalating through formal channels. Buyers should be cautious do not sign any of their contracts unless additional packages have been removed accordingly. ***AVOID ROUND ROCK TOYOTA***

I brought my vehicle in because it would not start. I was told it needed a battery, so I had the…read morebattery replaced and also paid for an oil change. There were no overheating issues or coolant leaks before bringing it in. After picking up my vehicle and driving home, it overheated on that same drive. I checked and found that the coolant was low. This is after paying for a service that advertises a multi-point inspection, which clearly was not performed. I had to tow the vehicle back at my own expense. At that point, I was told the technician was new and had not topped off fluids or completed the inspection. Shortly after, that explanation changed to "it's due to age and mileage," and the dealership refused to take any responsibility. Let's be clear: The vehicle was returned to me in an unsafe condition, without proper fluids, after a service that should have included basic checks. It overheated immediately after leaving. That is not a coincidence. Because of this, I was without my vehicle for 14 days, paid for a second tow, and was then charged over $3,000 for a radiator that failed after the overheating incident. The fact that they admitted the technician didn't perform routine checks, and still refused to take accountability, says everything about how this place operates. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before bringing your vehicle here.

I decided to wait at the dealership. Five hours later, I left w/my car now sputtering/hiccuping at each stop light. I called Dorian & he advised me to come back. Dorian was quick to get my car in and I was out of there roughly 30 minutes later. I drove home only to find out AGAIN it was STILL performing incorrectly - maybe not as bad but still sputtering. This was not an issue when I drove in. I called Dorian again and he asked once again if I had time to go in. It is now almost 4pm. I was not about to go in for a 3rd time. The issue happened to be an ignition coil. This back-and-forth caused a significant inconvenience including work time lost, the cost of fuel and toll charges for the multiple back and forth trips and added stress driving a vehicle that was not performing reliably. I contacted manager Wayne and Luis for an inconvenience credit but since they fixed these parts w/no added charges to me, no credit was given but a free oil change on my next visit. What a great way to treat a customer going on 15 years of Nissan service!

Let me start by putting my bias out front: I hate the dealership experience. I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. The latter is important as it demonstrates to me that he's more about being helpful and building trust than he is about selling me things I don't need. I haven't purchased a vehicle from Steven, but knew of him and his dealership, so I asked him about some automotive issues I had: I had to replace two things on my vehicle: a very expensive HID headlight and a passenger side mirror that got sideswiped and demolished. I prefer to do things myself if it's easy enough and won't kill the vehicle. The headlight would've cost nearly $2,000 to have someone else get the part and replace it. Steven helped me locate a reasonably-priced used headlight that I installed myself and saved $1,700. The side mirror was surprisingly more involved than the headlight, and was harder to find a replacement. Parts and labor at other places were running around $800. Steven was able to find a used part and installed it in about 15 minutes. On that one he saved me around $650. My situations in which he's helped me are a bit different than buying from him, and maybe people don't often ask him about parts as much as they do about buying from his inventory, but in both cases that I've reached out to him on his opinions and expertise he's been above board and honest, as well as taking my expressed concerns into consideration. He's never tried to sell me on something I didn't need or up charge me when he could save me money. That speaks volumes, and he's earned my trust. I'd highly recommend checking out Steven and Hip Motors if you're looking for a car or have auto issues!

I was tired of looking around at used cars since I had been looking for 2.5 months, trying to make sure I did not buy an unsafe car. This car has a seat belt that does not work, does not have a wheel lock, turn signal does not work and does not have a manual. I am sure I will uncover more things about the car that was withheld from me during my initial meeting with Steven. He told me when I purchased the car that they top off all of the fluids when they get cars in and inspect them before selling them. The 2nd day I had the car, I noticed a warning light was on. I took it to a auto store and they said the washer fluid was low. I purchased 2 gallons of washer fluid and it took 1.5 gallons. So Steven is now an untruthful person, because there is no way they could top off the fluids when it needed that much washer fluid. Save your money and the aggravation, if you have any issues after the sale and buy from an honest dealer that sells cars that are safe to drive. Don't buy a car from him or the guy he shares a building with Josh at Centexsi.com.
