Extremely disappointed and angry with Austin INFINITI This has been one of the most frustrating car-buying experiences I have ever witnessed. We went to Austin INFINITI to purchase a used 2025 Kia K4 from Ms. Ladermann. This was supposed to be my niece's first car purchase after joining the military four months ago. She was already approved through her credit union, had everything arranged, and was ready to take possession of the vehicle. Ms. Ladermann specifically told her to pick up the car today. So what did my niece do? She purchased insurance for the vehicle and made arrangements based on what the dealership told her. Then, suddenly, Austin INFINITI tells her there is a problem with the title and they cannot sell her the car. Seriously? How does a dealership tell a customer to come pick up a vehicle before making sure the title is actually in order and the vehicle can legally be sold? If there was a title problem, that should have been discovered before my niece was approved, before she purchased insurance, and certainly before she was told to come pick up the vehicle. This wasn't just an inconvenience. It was a complete waste of her time and money and an absolutely unacceptable way to treat a young military member making her first vehicle purchase. I understand that problems can happen. What I don't understand is the incompetence and lack of communication that allowed this situation to happen in the first place. Austin INFINITI needs to do better. Customers should not have to find out at the last minute that a vehicle they've been told is ready for pickup apparently can't even be sold. Wasted about 3 hours of my time. Called to offer me 2k for my car. I sent 10 pictures of the car and talked them into 2500. They promised me they saw condition on pictures and that the deal wouldn't change as long as the mechanic stated the issue I did with the value. He was saying it was a 10k repair before it got there and it clearly wasn't. They called me and quoted 4900 for repair which I knew was around the price. They then call and claim they didn't see damages in the pictures I sent which is very clear and they offer less then half once they are in possesion of the car after towing to dealership. BUYERS BEWARE....especially of a greasy salesman named Allan DeHoff. My fiance and I were in Austin for my sons National Football Tournament, so we decided to visit a few Infiniti dealerships I had been eyeing online. After doing our research, we found that the mileage on used Infiniti Q50's were significantly lower than those in the DFW Metroplex (where we are from). We took the "cream puff" of a car for a spin around the block, all while listening to Allan blabber on about how he sold a car to Danny Amendola (big deal, I have known the Amendola family for 30 years...you aren't cool). After filling out and signing God knows how many ridiculous extra papers (some that were completely blank), he verbally tells us that he will take it to the back, have all of the paint chips touched up and give it the good "once over" and that we could pick it up Monday. Mind you, we had told this genius we were leaving for DFW the next day, Sunday. So you know what his solution was?????? To take a paint pen (swore up and down it matched the color of my car and went outside and used my car as a painting canvas with the WRONG COLOR pen. Sunday rolls around and we are driving back to the metroplex and I notice a rattling sound coming from underneath the vehicle. Not a concerning one, just like something was a little loose somewhere. No warning lights were on the dash and after jacking it up at home, it seemed fine, so I didn't worry too much about it.....until I started getting HARRASED by this genius that if I didn't call my lender back and tell them everything was perfectly fine with the car, they would come repossess my vehicle. I have never heard of such a thing and neither had my lienholder. I called the dealership NUMEROUS times and asked to speak to a manager, only leaving voicemail after voicemail. I might be tall, thin, blonde haired and blue eyed, but the last thing I am is a naive fool! I submitted a formal complaint with the DMV when I STILL hadn't received my registration tags 45 days later (basically I am driving a floating car). I have an investigator assigned to the case and am pursuing legal action against this absolutely heinous event I experienced. All of a sudden, 3 days ago, I get a "reminder call" that my registration sticker is there at the dealership in AUSTIN, and for the 50th time, I live in DFW! This isn't the end of my story or my fight, but I thought I should put the beginning chapter out there for all to see. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

my experience with Austin Infiniti and my salesperson Allan needs to be shared. I'VE ONLY HAD THE CAR FOR A MONTH. The day I drove the (used) infiniti home from the dealership, I immediately noticed a shudder or vibration when accelerating from a stop up to about 20 mph. I called Allan right away and was told to bring it back. From that point on, I spent nearly every Wednesday--my only day off--bringing the car back for the same issue. Multiple "master techs" claimed they couldn't feel it. A sales assistant even told me that "all AWD cars feel that way." After I pushed for a ride-along, the head of service finally admitted he felt the vibration between 15-21 mph. Allan reassured me that "they would take care of it" and not to worry. The car ended up sitting in their shop for over a week, with service saying a tech was working "1-2 hours each day" but still claiming they couldn't replicate the problem. Eventually, I was told they had "done all they could" for me. The service manager even mentioned they could dive deeper, but it came down to how the techs would be paid. Keep in mind the diagnostic fee is $240 per hour from what i was told. In the end, the dealership deemed the shake "safe to drive." On top of all that, I am stuck paying $2,000 for an A/C compressor repair--an issue I had pointed out to Allan before signing paperwork. I was told it would be looked at, but clearly it wasn't. Now I'm left with a car that has both a bad compressor and a bad shake that has only gotten progressively worse. To make matters worse, Allan accused me of always trying to corner someone into saying something, even though he himself had already made those statements. Bottom line: I bought a vehicle that had issues from day one. I was patient, I gave the dealership multiple opportunities to make it right, and instead I was dismissed and strung along. A dealership that claims to stand behind its cars should not leave a customer in this position. If you're considering buying from Austin Infiniti, be very cautious. My experience was a textbook example of being promised one thing and delivered another. I would not recommend this dealership or Allan based on how my situation was handled. read more

When I first purchased my car I had to take my car in a few months later and had a different advisor and there were some inconsistencies. Needless to say I was somewhat aggravated. I had the worse service here and asked to speak to a manager and I still have not received a response! My car was serviced in September due to check engine light they said after the inspection they figure out the problem. Not even 42 hours after I paid over 1,000 my check engine light was on again. They said bring it in and after the inspection they said "we need to do a deeper inspection " that's not covered. My car still has the check engine light on and i took it somewhere else to be inspected the main problem was never fixed!!! Recently traded in a vehicle due to mechanical issues too pricey to repair with out-of-pocket funds. Salesperson, JP Garcia, cannot keep the facts straight throughout the negotiating process. Initially he said he would award us $7k for trade in value and later changed that number to $6k. Then when the contract was signed ran through quickly and trade in value changed to $5700. This is not the first ti.e he's done this. Bought another car in July 2025 and promised full package for warranty repair. Later during contract warranty was reduced to a standard package. JP stated the reason for the change was because the financing company would not agree to upgraded warranty package. I talked to financing representative and was told that the financing company does not determine such issues with dealer arrangements. Their may be some reputable agents here, but JP Garcia is not one of them. We will no longer shop at Austin Infiniti. For once we would like to find a reputable dealer. read more

Our QX80 was purchased a little over a year ago. My husband purchased an additional "top of the line" warranty from a company called Alpha. We even paid additional money for more coverage. Nothing is ever covered. Then, while trying to figure out what to do and who to talk to, etc we're being rushed with the loaner vehicle as though we're going to steal it. This purchase has been the worse purchase ever from beginning until now. Stating that things are not covered because they're "word specific." Alpha will not help us and neither will Austin Infiniti. MISLEADING DEALERSHIP AND LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY I had a very disappointing experience at the Infinity dealership of Austin. I visited near closing on a Saturday to look at a used car. It was still dirty and needed work, but I test drove it and was ready to move forward -- pending a question about a headlight. Since service was unavailable, the Director of Used Cars, Adrian Garcia, gave me a verbal agreement and a handshake that the car would be held for me until Monday. He even took the keys. On Monday morning, I spoke to the sales associate I test drove the car with, Zaira Duarte. I was ready to buy the car as is. She confirmed I had priority, despite interest from out-of-town buyers. Shortly after, I was told someone else was signing for the car. I waited on hold for 30 minutes to speak with the General Manager, Eliel Ramirez, who told me the Director of Used Cars, Adrian Garcia, gave him the go-ahead to sell it. He told me a verbal agreement doesn't mean anything when someone else is there in person ready to buy. He offered to help me find another car, but I didn't want another car -- I wanted the one I was promised. I was naive to think that people today would be honest and stand by their word. This review is long overdue. I have been getting my Infiniti serviced for several years at Austin Infiniti. What I appreciate the most is the service staff. I have had 3 representatives throughout the years to include: Steven (who retired), Kenny (who resigned) and Bobby (who has been with the company for many years). Each representative I've had has been attentive, listened to what I required for my vehicle and is quick to follow up with my concerns. The only issue I've ever had with my vehicle when in Infiniti's care is when I received a car wash (complimentary with service) and my window tent was scratched. Once I advised my rep (at the time Kenny) that my window tent was damaged in the process of service, my representative asked me to bring my vehicle back to the repair center to replace all of my tented windows at the expense of Infiniti. read more

Thanks to the vehicle being so good I've had a few times having to come for my top to be reset yet everyone of those times has been excellent customer service. As soon as you arrive they are welcoming and smile and ready to help you out. Briana T. is awesome and so was Josh and didn't meet the mechanic yet he fixed my dilemma. While I waited I go to their superb cafe on site where the barista is friendly and makes a great Chai. I got a text that my vehicle was ready and throughout they let me know what to expect and the estimated time., so I can plan what to do. In regards to the reply I received. According to the Infiniti Certified guidelines available online through Infiniti, this scratch would have no doubt been addressed. I would be interested to see the original certification for this car. I'm guessing there's no negative marks for such a noticeable scratch and I don't appreciate your dealership trying to minimize the abruptness of such a mark making a claim it's hard to see because of the paint color, absurd. Perhaps it would be hard to see in the dark if you weren't a trained technician. For clarity, there was never an offer for a plane ticket back which is an misinterpretation of information. Furthermore, I was asked what the cost might be in my opinion for repair and I was speculating. I didn't ask for that amount from your dealership. I was looking for solutions and offered many. July 25,2023 about 8 months later the suv was running bad so i parked it had 2 different shops come look at it and they couldn't tell me what was wrong so i towed it to the dealership for them to tell me the motor was no good and they could replace a couple parts for $10,000 and still not guaranteed it would run. or a used motor for $25,000 or a new one for $38,000 wow i was in shock. What's wrong with it is nothing i did or didn't do is a freak accident that happens to one in a billion. I was going to purchase another vehicle from them obviously i can't afford to replace the motor. Being since it's less than a year i paid cash for mine $17,000 down the drain I asked them if they could possibly help me get another one i could pay cash for they have a suv on there lot same year as mine about the same price. I'm 37 single female who's just trying to pay my bills and one day buy a house. My suv had been in there service department for about a month waiting on estimates and call backs to find out if they would help at all on the price of a new vehicle they said they can come off the price $500 that pays for what they are charging me for the diagnostic test they did on it. The service advisor has been nothing but short and rude manager iv left messages with has not once called me back. This dealership got $17,000 less than a year ago and the car is no good and is not willing to even come off another vehicle $1000 they should be ashamed they say the aim to please they do not care about anything but there pocket books. read more

I was told by INFINITI Consumer Affairs that Austin INFINITI is an independently owned dealership and they have the right to refuse service. I bought two new cars from Austin INFINITI and used their service department for 10 years. Their commitment abruptly ended after I asked what will you do if I'm not happy with the refinished wheels. It has been 10 yrs since I purchased my G35 Coupe from Austin Infiniti. I have had nothing but an awesome ride this past decade. I started thinking about getting a new car a few months back. It seems over the years, my G starting shrinking or I was getting bigger. I enjoyed immensely driving the new G's, FX's and QX's when I had my car in for service. They all had the wonderful feel and new car smelly stuff happening. However the thought of selling or trading in my G was sickening. For 10 yrs this stallion had seen me through a brain tumor, heart surgery, testicular tumor, countless beautiful dates with my girlfriend, my wedding and most recently my companies merger. It was always there for me and brought a smile to my face everytime I jammed on the pedal. The lines of the car stilled turned heads and the hip young drifter car ballers wanted it. I wanted it. However, with all the changes happening to me, it was inevitable this old friend wanted to find a new lover, so a separation was in order. I had also found a new lover. I had been stalking the QX forums for months and finally decided it was time for "The Talk" and we decided on an amicable settlement. My dowry was $11,250, which for a 10yr old, was pretty dang awesome. You see my G was in demand. I asked my long time (ridiculously brilliant and efficient) service tech Nick L for a referral to a sales person. I was still remembering my last experience as recorded in an earlier Yelp. He referred me to Troy Johnson. Wifey and I dropped by unannounced on a Saturday to visit with Troy and the process began. The hagel was on. Or actually, there was no haggling at all. I provided Troy with my parameters and we left. Apparently, there were only 29 models in the US that fit my bill. Troy found my car in Omaha and even though I had not made up my mind as to buying it, he had it shipped. He let me know in a text. I was like whoa! I needed final numbers please, which he provided and I started researching, looking at other dealers, reading forums and basically doing my due diligence. A few days later, a text with a picture of big blue with the few words, Christmas came early. At this point I had already decided it was a go and I just replied.. Holy Shit, load it up. 10yrs ago texting didn't exist. And yet, I pretty much bought this car, completely by text. Yesterday, the dinner bell rang and off I went to pick my QX-70. I met with Chris Morton the business manager and went through the details of warranties, he didn't step on me to buy them. He explained them to me concisely as to what the advantages/disadvantages of each were and let me know which ones I didn't need. My interest rate was sick, 1.59% from Infiniti Financial Srvcs and the signing began. There were just a couple hiccups. My down payment was not communicated to Chris or was forgotten, which wasn't a biggie since he just had to run the numbers again. One of the accessories I wanted was forgotten, the cross rails, however, Nick ordered them for me and will be in next week. We did spend a little bit of time at the dealership picking the beauty up, 2.5hrs, They were busy and I certainly could of picked it up today instead of friday. Troy was a little irritated since his detail crew didn't do the job the way he expected it to be done and had the guys go over a few spots. "These guys are killing me.. "..he sighed. He spent 20 mins going over all the technology and settings in the car and off we went. I took one last look at my beloved G, wished it well on its journey and hoped the new owner would be as respectful to it as I had always been. Austin Infiniti is a class act. I look forward to going there again and again for another 10 yrs.
