CHARLES MAUND TOYOTA WAS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF ME AND RIPPING ME OFF!! I felt comfortable bringing my truck here to get serviced because they were affiliated with Toyota but I was seriously mistaken. Should have read the reviews here. Now I see they are just an UNPROFESSIONAL dealership. Here's my experience: I drove my 2002 Toyota Tundra from San Diego, CA to Austin. While driving we noticed it was making a weird noise(sounding like it came from the wheels). I brought my truck to the Service department and Jerry took care of me. Then went over to Enterprise to get a rental car. They informed us within the next couple of days that my rear axel is bent and the spring is broken! Which would cost about $5000 to fix this problem!!!! I was mortified to say the least. Especially since my truck isn't even worth $5000. They said the truck is so unreliable that they do not even want their technicians to drive my truck. I was informed that my best option would be to trade the truck in for one of their used cars. Which they would give me $1000 for my truck and that was pushing it for its condition. I went over to their Used Cars department and Andre took care of me. He asked what my price range was and what I was looking for. He went out to bring the car forward which took about ten minutes. I didn't like the car. So he said they have a Jetta he would like to show me. I waited in his office for about 15-20 minutes for him to bring the car. I was done waiting for him in the office so I decided to walk around and look at the cars. I was out there probably another ten minutes and he was no where to be found so I left the dealership. I was about ten minutes away and got a phone call from a different dealer(Brian)saying that he was referred from Jerry so he would be helping me to find a car. About 5 minutes later Andre texts me that he found the Jetta and let him know when I wanted to look at it. I didn't respond. He texted me AGAIN later on asking if I wanted to look at the car. I told him No, I will be working with someone else. The next day I went back to the dealership for my appointment with Brian. I arrived and Andre immediately approached me saying Oh good you're back lets go look at that Jetta! I told him that I was working with Brian now but he insisted that since he helped me first that I was his customer and not Brians! I was told that Brian was running late for the appointment so I decided to look at the Jetta in the meantime. I followed Andre all the way back to the Service department where the Jetta was. Yet, the Jetta was up on the machine getting worked on so all I could do was look at. I was upset that he made me walk all the way to the back just to look at the car. He said what do you think? I responded back sarcastically "well it looks good." He insisted this was the perfect car. He asked the technician when the car would be done he said 6. So Andre was like perfect lets go back to my office and do the paperwork. I thought he was joking!!! NOPE! We get back to the office and he wants to check my credit. I told him that I was not allowing that, I am not buying that Jetta after just looking at the exterior of the car! It was a fucking JOKE to say the least. Andre recommended that we walk the whole lot so I could look at all the cars they have. It only took us about 20-25 minutes for this so I don't know why it took him so long to bring the cars forward. But I saw a couple cars that I was interested in so we went back to his office to get the information on the cars. He couldn't figure out how to print out the sheets so I had to write down all the info for each car. I left after that I couldn't take anymore. He texted me later on saying that Brian would be taking care of me after that. But we later heard that some of the technicians were interested in buying my car? My thoughts; why would they want my piece of shit car that they are only giving me $1000 trade in for? It all didn't feel right so we decided to get my truck towed to another shop to get a second estimate. The technicians had to jump start my truck to bring it over to the tow truck. Which I later found out from the second auto shop that they jumped it incorrectly and blew a huge fuse. I had to get new fuses and it blew my stereo and amp for my subs fuse as well! The second auto shop informed me that my truck only needed new bearings! The rear axel is fine and there was no broken spring! Only cost under $1000 to fix it. I couldn't believe it. CHARLES MAUND TOYOTA WAS TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME AND RIP ME OFF!! Which they accomplished since they had my truck for ten days and I had to have a rental car for that whole time. I was told that they would cover my rental car but when I returned the rental car they said they couldn't cover the cost since they did not do any work to the car. My daughter and I were subjected to the worst dishonesty and rudeness we had ever experienced at a car dealership when we tried to buy a car from Charles Maund Toyota in Austin, Texas on December 24, 2013. The dealership tried numerous times to switch the car we had agreed to buy, increase the finance interest rate we were to pay, and took us on a busy main road in a car in a dangerous condition. When we chose to leave and not buy for the higher price they were demanding, I was subjected to racist slurs by the salesman and manager, who shouted at me "to go back to my own country". Charles Maund's appalling treatment started after we had agreed with their salesman Scott Tell over the telephone to buy a 2012 Toyota Corolla S at a finance rate of 4.9% and with free extended warranty. We insisted on the extended warranty because we found out the "one owner' they advertised the car as having was in fact a car rental company that had sold them the car at auction. After we arrived to test drive the car, Tell told us they had "lost the car keys" and offered to sell us another Corolla of a different color. My daughter did not like the color but we agreed to test drive it to experience the model's performance while they located the keys for the car we were supposedly buying. While in the car, Tell tried to confirm the car we were buying was at the original, higher, price. I told him this was not the price we had agreed and asked him to stop playing these games, and he apologized. When we returned to the dealership, Tell said they had still not located the keys to the car we agreed to buy and offered us yet another Corolla of a color that was acceptable to us. When we went to test drive this car, my daughter noticed a large nail in the front passenger tire. Tell said they would replace the tire. When we were in the car to check out the inside, Tell started to drive the car out of the dealership. When I asked him why we were even driving an unsafe car, Tell said we were going to get the tire changed. We returned to the sales office to complete the paperwork. We asked Tell for the name of the rental car company from whom they bought the car so that we get service records, and he said that was on the Carfax. When we pointed out that it was not on the Carfax on another car we had seen, he said he could not get them. When we asked why the car was not a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, Tell said the car was in such good condition that it did not need to be. And when I asked why Certified Pre-Owned cars were more expensive he said that was because they had to pay for the certification! Tell then presented us with a Warranty document and checked off the box opposite "No Warranty". When we said there was a remaining warranty plus the extended warranty on the car he said the warranty is with the extended warranty company and not Toyota. When I said that does not make sense he then checked off the box opposite Warranty. While signing the paperwork, Scott Tell told me he could see that I did not trust him and I replied that how could I after he had tried to switch things on us so many times. We were led into the office of Wesley, the finance manager, who started to talk to us about the healthy color of urine! When working on the finance documents, Wesley attempted to raise the loan interest rate to 8.4% from 4.9%, which we caught, and to get me to co-sign, which we caught. When we were finally given the invoice, we noticed a price for extended warranty of $1500 had been added back onto the price. When we asked for this to be removed, Wesley told us that they were already 'losing' $1300 on the car (sheer nonsense) and that he would have to consult with a manager. He left and came back with the manager who told us there was no way he was going to sell us a car at a loss. We told both managers that if they were not going to honor the price they had agreed to then we would not proceed. When we asked to see the documents, the manager said the only thing he was going to show us was the door and that the only thing we were getting for Xmas was the door. As we were leaving the manager shouted at me to "go back to my own country" (I immigrated to the US from England over thirty seven years ago and still have an accent) which upset my daughter, who is American, who asked him why he was being racist to me. I then texted the salesman Scott Tell that they were disgraceful human beings and he texted me back another racist remark: "It's America report what you like ...and her 10k pre approval is going to get her into a piece of junk". Since it is clear they never intended to sell us the car for the price they had agreed to, they not only wasted hours of our time, but got our financial information on false pretenses, for which I will be contacting the authorities. My only advice to car buyers who insist of visiting these awful people at Charles Maund Toyota is to try every other Toyota dealership in Texas first. read more

After purchasing my car in late January 2018 I had it in the service shop twice before May due to issues with the headliner rattling. After my first visit, my car was returned to me filthy and covered with white debris in the interior sprayed all over the windows,windshield and dash. After my second visit, my car was returned with scratches all over my passenger side window. Therefore, causing me to have to bring it in again for the tint to be repaired due to careless technicians and insufficient checks on work. My most recent visit, in for the same rattling that still was not fixed! My car was taken in on a Thursday. I call on Friday at 1pm because I'd like my car back while we wait on a part to arrive to apparently to fix the rattle along with a bent mechanism in the sunroof bar. Mind you I'm paying $20/day on rental car insurance due to them not having my car fixed STILL (this occurred every time I had to drop my car off to me fixed, whether it be from the rattling or your negligence). Still by Saturday at 2pm after I call again at 9am I receive no call back. So I have to drive in to speak to someone to find out what's going on! (Mind you I'm 17 weeks pregnant so not feeling like dealing with this). I'm told I can't have my car back because it's disassembled and they will try and get me a loaner through the dealership. Tuesday of the following week they finally get me a loaner vehicle. Thursday I receive a call my car is ready. I go to inspect it and ONCE AGAIN the passenger side window has a huge cut to the glass in the tint!!! So I can't pick my car up and I have to leave. Friday, on my way in to pick my car up I accidentally bump into a cement block with the rear bumper and a minor dent is made. No chips in the paint or anything major. I'm told by the service person I'm working with after speaking to a manager that since I've had so much trouble with them (and mind you if my car would've been fixed one of the several times in previous brought it in or this time even, I would've never had your vehicle) that since it's minor they will cover it. A few hours later I receive a phone call that they will not cover it because it's more extensive than they thought. Mind you $400 of the bill was diagnostic testing and nearly $1000 was labor!! So the parts were only $400!!!. I offer to pay for parts only. I'm told by a manager that I need to make a choice on how I'll pay the full amount minus the $400 on diagnostics or put through insurance within 15 min or he will send me to collection while I'm still driving home from your shop! So I'm freaking out! I file a claim on my insurance but then decided I'd rather pay cash instead. So they run my card. Minutes later after having a moment to collect my thoughts I checked with my insurance and they can't undo a claim once begun so I call back to ask for my money back and tell them I have to go through insurance. I'm refused to get my refund back AND hung up on/further phone calls are avoided. Still dealing with insurance to try and get this covered which won't be an issue and will have to dispute the charge. The fact of the matter is I feel wronged that I should have to pay for anything at this point after being jerked around. I've worked in customer service for over 15 years and the way you treat customers and run your business is disgraceful and disgusting. I will tell everyone I know not to purchase from you. There is no reason anyone should have to go through so much trying to get their vehicle right. When it should've been in the first place. Technically, my car qualifies as a lemon at this point and the service has left a very sour taste in my mouth. You're a multimillion dollar company and your screwing over people that are doing their best to be fair but that isn't how your business operates! Update: 8/16 I spoke with the Director of Service and he rectified the issue. I'll still have a claim on my insurance after 10-15 years without one and I'm not 100% sure my car has been properly fixed. I do appreciate the effort to try and make the situation a little less horrible by management (even after I asked to speak to one several times ago). I will still not be returning to Charles Maund for any further services. My advice would be to make sure if you do come across a problem with your vehicle or device you take it directly to a manager. I prefer to avoid continued stress and problems but it's extremely hard to accomplish this when no one will let you speak to who you need to until the situation has blown way out of control. I had a very satisfying and rewarding experience at Charles Maund Toyota during the purchase of my new 2015 Toyota RAV4. After doing a thorough research, online, through friends, and in person, I stopped at one of the Toyota dealerships in town and inquired about the model I was interested in. I test drove it around the neighborhood, and decided to go for it. While I exactly knew what type of car I wanted and how much I was willing to pay for it, I wanted to test the waters and see how far they would go to convince me to buy from them. The gentleman that assisted me was very knowledgeable, detailed, and spoke clearly and down to the point providing me with information and other details. I liked his professional approach but the asking price seemed quite high and I was somewhat certain they would not consider going down much, besides the regular discounts/incentives offered. I left the dealership and headed on to Charles Maund Toyota (CMT). When I got there, I met the salesperson, Mr. Joel Arce, by coincidence, as he was headed/bound to address some tasks in his office but stopped along the way to greet my family and I as we walked in. He offered his assistance and from that moment on he became actively involved and helped me throughout the entire buying process. His politeness and professional demeanor was something to praise for. He was genuinely interested in my needs/wants in regards to the vehicle I was looking for. I conveyed to him what I wanted, what color I wanted and what features I wanted in it. He researched their inventory, and voila!! they had the car I was looking for. I test drove it as well, and during the driving test around the area, Mr. Arce provided me with an ample explanation of all the features, the vehicle description, quality of the product, etc., etc. We returned to the dealership, and while he tried to embark me into negotiations, I told him that I was not ready to reach a deal that day. He explained other details, including rebates, incentives and financing options, as it was close to the end of the month and wanted me to take advantage of what was available out there. To begin with, there was a price difference of $1,000 dollars for the same vehicle, comparing the previous dealer I visited and Charles Maund Toyota. I left the dealership and promised to return the following Saturday. Mr. Arce did follow up on my initial visit and contacted me a couple of times during the week. I did return a week later and when I got there, I could see that the vehicle had been parked in front of his office window, ready for me to take it home. We commenced the negotiations and all the necessary paperwork. It took a bit of negotiating and bargaining before we reached an agreement on the price. I did not want to spend hours of negotiations, and I stated up front to him and later to his Sales Manager, how much I was willing to pay. We reached an agreement and I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. Mr. Arce provided all the necessary assistance with the documentation and other matters, and had the vehicle ready and detailed for me at the end of the process. He installed the temporary plates on the car, and handed me the keys to my brand new car. I left the dealership very happy and excited, and when I got home later that day I realized that the floor mats were missing. Since CMT do not open on Sundays, I contacted Mr. Arce the following Monday and he took care of the matter. He contacted me a couple of days later and delivered the missing mats. I am a very happy customer, and I am glad I stopped by CMT to get my new car. I have already conveyed to Mr. Arce that I will go back there to get a replacement Toyota vehicle for my son's 2003 Toyota Corolla in the near future. Mr. Arce's professionalism and demeanor made a huge difference to me as a customer. I was very pleased with him throughout the entire buying process Job well done Mr. Arce!! I just purchased a truck from Charles Maund Toyota. Being in real estate sales myself for over 10 years, it's easy to pick out the folks you want to do business with and the ones you want to weed out ( takes all but 2-3 minutes) and from start to finish I knew I'd close through this dealership if they gave me the best price. From the initial call to the receptionist months ago to the post sale follow up in the service department for an after market product and everything in between, everything went just great. My sales representative was Lindsey LeBlanc who met me the day I called in to show me a Tacoma. She showed me the different trims and packages and I narrowed it down to the model I wanted. I wasn't ready to buy that day and both Lindsey and her floor ( sales) manager immediately recognized and respected this and neither tried to put my feet to the fire with sales lines and pitches of why I had to buy that day. Since I was buying for pleasure and not out of an immediate need, I spent the next several months following the ads, incentives , checking out the various options and as much as I liked the folks at Charles Maud I did my due diligence and called the competing dealers as far as SA and based on my rather direct questioning of them I came to the conclusion that any price difference I'd find ( and that's if there is a difference) elsewhere was splitting hairs and not worth the gas and time for a few hundreds bucks at best; so I went with the people I liked and started with. After 6 months when I was ready to purchase, I went back to buy a Tacoma only to decide it was a little too small so Lindsey being very product knowledgeable introduced me to the Tundra. We took two of them out and I returned home to sleep on it. I spent the next week shopping the F150, the 1500 Crew Cab, the Silverado 1500 and decided to go with the Tundra CrewMax and the Toyota line. Lindsey's follow up for months was very good yet not annoying and pushy, she knew the product line well and did what any good car salesperson would do when I came in to buy the Tundra and presented me 4 vehicles ranging from the base model to the models with the higher end trims/options. She knew I wouldn't bite but it's her job and the sales managers have their salespeople do it all the time; I credit him for this as well although it wasn't going to work; they tried. They have to make a living and eat too. It's life in the world of sales and everyone within the walls of the dealership did their job great ( including the janitor who cleans the restrooms), they were on top of their game and earned my business. After the sale, I returned to have my rear sensors installed as an after market item, Paul in service was most helpful, put me in a loaner and had my truck ready the same day! So if anyone is in the market for a vehicle and considering the Toyota line of options, give Lindsey a call and if Toyota has the product for you, you will probably buy it. Remember, all new vehicles need warranty work or service at some point so make sure you buy from the dealership you feel will be there for you for your 3/36,000 and beyond and not write you off the minute you close your initial deal and get your keys. That is worth more than the $300-$500 bucks you may ( or may not) save going to another dealer in the long run. I'll be in the market for a sedan in due time and I am sure I will be calling upon these folks and asking them for loyalty cash ( I have to eat as well) when I start shopping sedans. Job well done to Lindsey and the team at Charles Maund. Highly recommend them and I myself will return and buy there if they have the sedan I like when the time comes. I recently purchased a 2015 Toyota Tacoma 4WD, double cab, TRD edition. I am a pretty diehard Toyota fan and owned two 4Runners previously. I'd done my homework down to the penny, received "best offers" from other dealers, and came in to see if they would beat the offer. I wanted to avoid as much of the sales dance that I'd already completed. That said, I am experienced and was prepared for a fight with a smile. I met and worked with Gabriel Alvarado throughout the process. He was fairly new to the dealership. What really caught me off guard was his attitude. He was so pleasant and eager to please, at first I didn't believe it (HA!). As I had already received a good offer from another dealer, I was introduced to the whole team to work approvals for other incentives/markdowns, etc. The team included Alfred Martus, David Walker, and especially Alex Flores. After agreeing on a price, we put in to "locate" (transfer from another dealer) the truck. A few days later, I received word that they'd lost it as it had just been sold but not cleared out of the system. That was dissapointing, but they recieved a similar (color) truck within a week. During the final review, there was a miscommunication regarding another installed incentive (running boards) that was not on the 2nd "located" vehicle that arrived. Alex Flores has agreed to this, but it was not clearly communicated down. When reviewing the final paperwork, they did not see the running boards and didn't believe it was a part of the deal. A bit of quibbling ensued, and I was very direct as I knew this was agreed upon. Alex confirmed it as soon as he returned (I caught them at lunch). In hindsight, this is hilarious as David and Gabriel didn't think the General Manager had agreed to it because of HOW LOW MY PRICE ALREADY WAS!!! Bottom line: I got close to another $1000 off what was already under dealer invoice! They wanted my business and made it very clear how far they were willing to go! As an added bonus, the finance department (Jason) was ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL. I expected a commission-based swindler trying to get me to buy every warranty and service plan in case of nuclear disaster, alien attack, or whatever. I found out he was not commission-based, and he took the time to line out my real costs (from Jiffy Lube) by type of service over the duration of the maintenance plan against the $$$ value of the package. He was wonderfully patient and made sure all of my questions were answered. It ended up costing exactly the same as I would have paid (actually less considering inflation and oil prices), but allowed for service by a certified Toyota dealer. He did work an extended warranty adding a $500 discount, but I declined. Regarding the maintenance package, this ended as a "shut up and take my money" conversation. Because they were so willing to answer all of my questions, by the time everything was said and done it was getting around closing time. Gabriel took the time to sit in my truck with me for the next half hour to make sure everything was configured and that I understood all of the new features. Again, his willingness to please and make sure everything was exceptional was just that. Ultimately, I will NOT HESITATE to buy from them again and I'm either recommending or escorting all my friends with me! read more

I actually had to have a cooling off period before writing this review. My husband totaled my Tahoe by hitting a deer. Lucky for me, he was alright and he felt so guilty, I was finally going to get the car of my dreams- a Toyota 4Runner. We actually called into the "CarPro" show and was directed to Charles Maund. Even though we already test drove a car at the Toyota dealership on the "motor mile" down south, we decided to go here on their advice. Boy, am I ever sorry I did. We decided on a used 4runner (to save almost $10,000) and unbelievably, through all my research on the internet, only 2 4Runners with under 40,000 miles, and Limited, and 4 wheel drive were available in the whole state (the other one was in Corpus Christi) So, we called, verified that the car was there. Yes, so on a Saturday, we head up (from Oak Hill). We show up only to find out that the Office manager took it home for the weekend. Great. They had us drive an SR5, but I did not want that. Or a brand new one, again, much more expensive... So, I head back on Monday. My husband is at work so I drive up in my loaner car, by myself. Now, I want you to know that I was pre-approved from my credit union. I had a check IN MY HAND that I could write for up to $35,000. Should be easy, right? I get there, test drive the car. Tell the salesman, yes, I will take it. I had already verified that it was a fair price, about $1200 over NADA but that included TT&L, so I am good to go.... I was there for 5 HOURS!!!!! First, because the office manager had it, they wanted to clean it up, I kept looking outside, watching my new car not move to be cleaned as the salesman tried to negotiate with me, did I want to use their financing? No, I had 2.1%, did I want the extended warranty?, etc. I did try to get an extra key as the car only came with one (they are $275 by the way, of which I had to pay every penny) they would not budge, that took an hour of my life that I will never get back. The only redeeming quality is that someone followed me home because I had to come alone and so I was able to get the car that day... overall a horrible experience. My son actually wanted to buy a Toyota Tacoma a couple weeks later.... I had him steer clear of Charles Maund. He bought from Nyle Maxwell. I was with him, and it was a great experience. Not only that, we both have specialized license plates. Nyle Maxwell changed out the plates for him, I asked the same of Charles Maund, they told me they could not. I get to wait in line at to do that. PLUS, they never called to tell me the plates were in! I was there today to have my car in for service (another bad review) and decided to check and see if they were in... of course they were, no call from them. When I asked the lady if they could do the same for me that Nyle Maxwell did for my son, she said she didn't think so. "I just hand out the plates, I don't know anything about that" When she tried to call and ask someone in the title department, they said it wasn't possible. Funny how Nyle Maxwell could and Charles Maund could not. I am still considering letting the CarPro show know how bad it was. My husband really wants me to. I am sorry I listened to them, I have bought many cars, but this tops my list as the worst. read more

I must say this has been a very frustrating car buying experience: STEER CLEAR OF THEIR USED CAR DEPT!! (This is my email to CMT management and I received no valid response, beyond a customer service person who obviously had no desire to rectify my situation. Car was marketed online (Craigslist & Autotrader) with a vehicle description reflecting Limited amenities - leather seats/ heated seats, etc. Turns out it's an SR5- no leather, 20" rims, no 6 disc changer, etc that I was looking for.. SR5 was a "Certified" vehicle and has supposedly passed it's #-Point Inspection. When I pulled out the cabin air filter it was filthy and had never been changed in the 55k miles this car had on it. This led me to believe the other points of the inspection were missed as well. After leaving your dealership upon my first visit and 2 different salesmens unsuccessful attempt to close me on the car then, neither got my contact number to call me back with a counter offer closer to my request. I had called back 4 days later, and due to my emotions and time constraints to buy, I agreed to purchase for my price, less a couple requests. A mistake on my part, as with these miles and wreck on Carfax fair market value blue book was $1k less, minimum. AND I had to put $830 worth of tires on her. Part of the delivery prep was to detail the vehicle as requested 24hours prior. This was not performed. No confirmation ( documentation ) that my other requests were performed - check all fluids and filters, etc. Then, when I went to pick up the vehicle it didn't have temporary tags on it. Bill ran in to get tags and installed. Come to find out, they say the vehicle is a 2006 Toyota with another VIN # on it! Hoping I don't get pulled over!!! ...AND TO TOP IT OFF - Days later Closing Agent called to say they couldn't find my $5,000 Cashiers Check I handed to the salesman! Not my problem, as the $ left my account when check was created. In short - I had to work with my bank to cancel it and incur a $100 fee for the very frustrating experience. They never reimbursed me for this cancellation fee. ...oh, then! - Go to get shocks installed at another location. They immediately notice my steering tie rod threads were totally stripped and about to come loose, causing the tire to jet-off in a 45 degree angle. That would have been a fun accident! Some kind of "Certified Vehicle" you sold me CMT! So, those are the high points of my frustration. I told myself i'd never buy a car from them simply due to their stupid/loud/obnoxious commercials. Then the 4Runner appeared online owned by them that I desired, so proceeded with transaction ignoring my gut feelings. Live and learn. Let this serve as a warning... S T E E R C L E A R!! read more

I just bought a new Toyota Tundra through Charles Maund and it was a terrible experience. I started through the inter-net building a Tacoma. Upon completion we worked out a price. Going down and looking at the car we decided the back was really to small for any bigger passengers. We worked out a deal for a Tundra with a very inexperienced sales person. Because we built our own car with options he never questioned or asked if we knew other options were available. An example, I asked about leather seats, he said they were not available but could get them made outside of the dealership. I found out weeks later that they were available on an upgraded Tundra plus many more options that the web site and he did not explain to us. I had no idea that they make other Tundras than the one in the show room. The short version is after much to do, they said they would get me a new vehicle with navigation and fender flairs and I could keep the new truck until the new one came in from Houston. They said about 7 days. Well after 7 days they said another 7 days and after 7 days I learn just before picking up the new truck that it is not coming in. I paid for the original truck and asked in the very beginning of this if they wanted me to bring back the truck, they said no as it will be only 7 days. The truck never moved out of my garage for fear something might happen to it. During this time , probably after 14 days, they offered to give me my money back. I declined as I wanted the new truck. So yesterday after just learning that the new truck did not arrive they offered my money back again. I said I wanted either my money back plus something for the terrible inconvenience this has caused my wife and me or get me the new truck as promised by Thursday of next week. Bottom line after I filled out the questioner, yesterday also, they sent me an e-mail that all commitments they made on giving me my money back or giving me the new truck they promised were off the table. If I did not like it I could have my attorney call theirs. I tried to e-mail the top executives of the company and explain my side to no avail. I definitely would look into other dealerships and if you get the best price from them be sure you have all your ducks in line. They do not honor verbal contracts. I would have gone to an attorney but his fees most likely would have exceeded my desires for some compensation. I am sure they knew this . read more
