    The oil leak in question

    Beware of the service department. I took my car in to diagnose an issue I was having with my AC that my regular shop was not able to fix. (2017 Alltracks are known for having problematic air conditioners and there's no specific fix for it. It's one of those that has to be chased down.) The service department did find and repair an issue with the AC, but also stated that my battery was testing low and that I had an oil leak that would cost $1200 to repair. They gave me the specifics of where it was leaking and what part would need to be replaced. That they recommended fixing it immediately because it was a bad leak. I showed my husband the photo they sent me and he was skeptical. "That looks like old oil, not fresh." So I didn't have them fix it and instead took it to my trusted shop. I gave them the estimate of what exactly was wrong as well as the photo. I didn't tell them I was skeptical that there was an oil leak, but let them draw their own conclusions. They confirmed that there was no fresh oil leak anywhere, that this was likely leftover oil from a previous leak that had been repaired. A secondary issue with Hewlett was that my steering wheel was damaged. I'm 5 foot tall and sit very close to the wheel. It looked like someone taller had the zipper of their jeans scrape the wheel. I reported it to my service writer immediately. She saw the very obvious issue and took pictures. She said she'd get back to me ASAP. That was three weeks ago and I've never heard back. If you have other options, go there instead. And since I've read the response to other negative reviews, I'll just say this up front: I do not post under any other usernames.

    I had an amazing experience working with Cain Nieto at Hewlett VW! He was patient, transparent, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He answered every question, broke down all the numbers clearly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready for me -- even getting my tint scheduled ahead of time so the car would be perfect when I arrived! I never once felt pressured, and he made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, responsive, and truly invested in helping you find the right car, ask for Cain! Highly recommend!

    I can't recommend my salesperson, Cain Nieto, highly enough. My experience purchasing and leasing my 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan was exceptional. Cain was professional, straightforward, and truly cared about ensuring I found the vehicle I wanted. He patiently answered all of my questions and made sure I understood each decision I was making throughout the process. Cain never pressured me to do anything I didn't want to. Instead, he provided honest information and offered what he believed would be my best options. He knows the ins and outs of the Tiguan better than any other salesperson I've encountered. If you're looking for a new Volkswagen, ask for Cain Nieto! He will go above and beyond to give you a 5-star customer experience, and I would definitely buy from him again in the future.

    We went back AGAIN!!! It's becoming a ritual to go back and buy/lease another car at Hewlett VW with Jay Wilson. This time we never even test drove the cars until the ride home after the paperwork was finished!! What an amazing experience!!! This time we got the 2025 Tiguan and 2025 Taos.     I went in to trade in my 2019 Volkswagen and got a brand new 2025 Volkswagen Atlas R line and I love it so much! It's the perfect mom car. It's spacious, luxurious and it drives so smoothly. I want to thank Martin in particular at the Georgetown location for helping us with finding exactly what we were looking for and making all the paperwork easy and explaining everything to us so well.

    I honestly can't say enough positive things about this dealership. I've now had two amazing vehicle purchase experiences here, and I don't plan to shop anywhere else for my next one. From start to finish, they were incredibly responsive--while I was still waiting hours for other VW dealerships with the vehicle build I wanted to get back to me, this team had already finalized my entire deal. They were transparent, honest, and worked hard to ensure I was fully comfortable with the deal and payment, which gave me so much confidence in moving forward. I had a tight schedule on that Saturday--the busiest car sales day of the week--due to another obligation, and they respected my time. I was in and out in under an hour, which is practically unheard of in car buying. Saed in Sales, Amanda the Manager, and Josue in Finance all made my experience truly 10/10. Even after the purchase, they've continued to be helpful and communicative, answering all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. They really do treat you like family, and their level of dedication to the process and their customers is something that stands out. I'm insanely happy and beyond impressed.

    I've never been treated so poorly by a dealership in my life. The sales staff "sold me a car like no ones business." They kept telling me it would only taking an hour to sign the paperwork. After sitting in the sales office for nearly 12 hours just to sign paperwork, I initially hoped the drawn-out process was just an isolated hiccup. Unfortunately, it was only the beginning of my problems. The service department has been an absolute nightmare. The staff talked down to me they were rude, unresponsive staff who don't return calls and even drove my car around the lot on its rims, causing more damage! When I rightfully complained, they flagged my account and effectively refused to service the car they sold me. They have not once taken responsibility for the ill treatment that I received. It was "never their fault" including the additional damage to my car. It was excuse after excuse, never an apology for the damage or treatment. To make matters worse, their practices and contests appear to discriminate against people protected under the ADA. It's shocking that a business would engage in or allow such behavior. They clearly do not care about customers once the sale is final and you drive off their lot. If you value your time, your money, and basic respect, steer clear of Hewlett Volkswagen of Georgetown. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Like always with negotiating deals to buy a vehicle, there can be a little contention in the process, but I always get a good deal based on pricing ( check on Internet for deals and specials to get lowest price) The thing that really makes my experiences there solid in addition to the sales team and managers is the finance and the service team who really are hard working and offer great communication and transparency with a sense of urgency. In a few months Leif Johnson Ford will be moving southwest to a new modern dealership and I believe that it will only be better! Can't wait, although I'll miss the Koenig Lane and Airport Blvd location.

I called to check if it was available as I live in San Antonio which is a solid hour and a half a way. Spoke to Dave Christian. He told me it was there and he'd have it pulled around and waiting on me. In the meantime he would text me all of his information. So I make that drive. I get there and after a few minutes of none of the sales people acknowledging I was even there someone passed by and asked if they could help. I told them I was there to see Dave. Several minutes later Dave comes out to greet me. He apologized and said that he thought that the vehicle was on the lot but it turns out it wasn't but assured me it was on its way. He said he knew we made a long drive and asked us to wait a little longer. About 15 minutes later he came out and told me that the vehicle had been sold the day before. Needless to say I wasn't very happy. He said he'd walk me around the lot if I'd like. Resisting the urge to cuss him out six ways to Sunday, I politely stated I was no longer interested. This guy obviously doesn't care about his job nor the company he represents. As long as people like him are employed at this place, I would strongly advise everyone to not step foot in this dealership.

I asked him about getting recalls done in my home in my driveway. This is something they just started doing so a lot of of the Ford employees may not be aware so if they don't offer this option to you, ask them about it. They'll do the recall in your driveway unless it needs to go to them. And if it does need to go all the way back to Connick Lane they don't care they will come out. They will pick up your car. They will service it the way you needed it and they will bring it back home for you free of charge!! I know for me I have CIDP which makes the nerves in my legs. Very tired after 20 minutes of driving. And Leif Johnson Ford on Coney Lane is where I bought my beautiful 2016 Mustang brand new back then. But now that they have this great new service for people in need for either handicap, disabled, or other. Please share this with your friends and family that all Ford dealers will be doing this! And again, like I said it's brand new so a lot of of the people you may talk to to make a service call may not be aware so just remind them of what you've read here and then somebody will be able to fix it for you. After I got into my car I drove straight over to Manor Rd. Ford Riata Dealership where AJ there sold me a brand new 2025 Ford Explore. I will NEVER go back to that location again!!!!My money spends good anywhere, I have excellent credit and have purchased over 6 vehicles from Ford within 10 years. I was also scheduled to meet with Scarlet (Norma) this day to purchase a nee car at the 290 location but I was so disappointed in your staff's customer service that I refused to purchase anything from your store. I should return my new car and not purchased from Ford at all!!!!! Because the folks at Riata were so kind and professional, I couldn't punished them for your lazy crew members actions. We have reached out multiple times to Ashton in finance, Elmer in sales, and even Mark the general manager--none have responded. Our lender confirmed they have received nothing from the dealership. Yet, the general manager, Mark seems to have plenty of a time replying to reviews here on Google if he thinks they can get the dealership a sale. At this point, it appears the issue is being ignored rather than resolved. We are now escalating through formal channels. Buyers should be cautious do not sign any of their contracts unless additional packages have been removed accordingly. ***AVOID ROUND ROCK TOYOTA***
