I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. Showed him the app that had my policy. He was kind enough to escort me to their waiting area. Another gentleman came in to collect my contact information and discuss different aspects of my car due to its age/mileage. Great and comfortable conversation. A 3rd gentleman came in the office to let me know my car was completed and collected payment. Was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Talk about service! Very policy folks that work there and quick about their service. I will be back to visit them in the future.

Around the same time, I noticed I had missed a call from a manager. When I called back, there was a little bit of back and forth and some time on hold, but then Mr. George called me directly on my other line. We had a great conversation about everything that happened. He listened, acknowledged the mishaps, understood my frustrations, and most importantly he wanted to make it right. And he did exactly that. I went back to the store, and Mr. George personally made sure my concerns were addressed. Shout out to Mr. George for being a man of his word. Isn't there a saying that all a person really has is their word? Well, Mr. George stood on business and followed through. What really impressed me was seeing leadership in action. I even had to laugh when one of the younger employees told him, "Mr. George, you're going to have to work in the bay!" Without hesitation he replied, "Yes, if I have to, I will." In this instance, he absolutely did what was needed to take care of a customer. Hopefully, I won't need to see Discount Tire anytime soon since I now have four brand-new tires, but because of the way Mr. George handled the situation, I will definitely be back when I do. They are busy but they work quick…read more I placed an online order and appointment for tires for the next day, and they had a designated parking spot for me when I arrived. They asked if I wanted to replace one of my wipers and the price wasn't bad so I agreed. They ended up replacing the other one too free of charge! My appointment was at 11 so I was a bit worried when I saw that my car wasn't taken into the shop until 11:30, but they had the tires changed and done in 15 minutes! I would definitely come here again.

I arrived at 8:40a this morning not realizing that they open at 9a on Saturday. I didn't see cars…read moreso I decided to go grab some breakfast so I could eat while I wait. I got back at about 8:55a and that's when I realized there were cars waiting in a line formed in the back of the convenience store. There were about 5 cars ahead of me but let me tell you.. these guys are very efficient. They had already begun helping people before 9am. Someone was walking up to the cars in line checking insurance and gathering other pertinant information. They then pulled in two cars at once to inspect at the same time which I'm certain definitely helped shorten the length of wait time. When it was my turn one gentleman conducted my inspection while another discussed my registration and took my payment (total came to $96.75). I was completely done and on my way by 9:15a! The fact that you can get your inspection and registration done at the same time is soo great. I definitely recommend them and I'll forsure be back next year!
