I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. After posting my initial feedback (refer to the bottom part of this review), the general manager did reach out to me, which I appreciated. When I called him back, he assured me he would look into the matter and get back to me with a response. However, it has now been more than two months since that conversation, and despite his promise to follow up, I have not heard back from him. While I was initially hopeful that my concerns would be addressed, the lack of follow-through is disappointing and reflects poorly on the establishment's commitment to customer service. Additionally, I remain convinced that something is wrong with the original repair. My sixth sense is telling me that they never actually replaced the part as claimed. I suspect either the part wasn't defective to begin with, or they simply repaired the existing part rather than installing a new one as promised. I am now going to investigate whether they actually replaced the part or not. If I discover they did not perform the work as promised, I will 100% pursue legal channels, as they have already collected payment from Toyota for this repair. This experience has completely eroded my trust in their service practices. Next time, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I felt it was important to share this complete picture of my experience for other potential customers. Original Review I had a very frustrating experience with Round Rock Toyota that I feel others should be aware of. Around 60,000 miles, the dealership told me that my car's CV axle was bad and needed to be replaced. Since my car was still under warranty at the time, I agreed and had them do the repair (replacement). However, at around 90,000 miles, I was told again that the same CV axle was leaking and needed to be replaced. This immediately raised concerns for me. If the axle was truly replaced at 60,000 miles, how could it fail again so soon? They also told me that I needed to replace the ac and engine filters which I had replaced 6 months prior. When I asked about the cost, I was quoted around $3,000 for both sides, which seemed excessive. I also took the time to inspect and photograph the issue myself, and while there may have been some wear, it did not appear nearly as severe as they claimed. This experience left me questioning whether the original repair was actually done properly--or at all. Being told to replace the same major component twice within such a short mileage interval is not acceptable. Overall, I feel misled and overcharged. I cannot recommend this dealership based on my experience. I am done with this dealership for good.

There were no overheating issues or coolant leaks before bringing it in. After picking up my vehicle and driving home, it overheated on that same drive. I checked and found that the coolant was low. This is after paying for a service that advertises a multi-point inspection, which clearly was not performed. I had to tow the vehicle back at my own expense. At that point, I was told the technician was new and had not topped off fluids or completed the inspection. Shortly after, that explanation changed to "it's due to age and mileage," and the dealership refused to take any responsibility. Let's be clear: The vehicle was returned to me in an unsafe condition, without proper fluids, after a service that should have included basic checks. It overheated immediately after leaving. That is not a coincidence. Because of this, I was without my vehicle for 14 days, paid for a second tow, and was then charged over $3,000 for a radiator that failed after the overheating incident. The fact that they admitted the technician didn't perform routine checks, and still refused to take accountability, says everything about how this place operates. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before bringing your vehicle here.

Right from the jump, he was incredibly straightforward. There was zero pressure, zero hassle, and absolutely no need to waste time haggling over the price. He gave it to us straight, which is so rare and refreshing in the car-buying world. ​Our Finance Manager, Michael was equally amazing. Financing a vehicle can usually feel like pulling teeth, but Michael made it a breeze. He was efficient, thorough, and just a great guy to talk to. ​I still can't believe it, but we spent a grand total of only three hours at the dealership. That included the test drive of three used Sequoias, picking the one we liked out of the three, the vehicle inspection, and getting all the final paperwork squared away with finance. We've all heard or experienced the horror stories of spending 6 to 8 hours at a dealership, but Chris and Michael valued our time and had us on the road in a flash. What stood out to us the most was the sheer respect we received. I will not be doing business with this dealership again and strongly caution others to be very careful if they choose to do so. My wife and I came in to test drive a car and, after the test drive, submitted a credit application--explicitly authorizing a credit pull--with the clear intent to purchase the vehicle. We were told everything was in order and scheduled an appointment the following morning for my wife to move forward with financing and paperwork. At no point were we informed that the vehicle was still at risk of being sold. While my wife was on her way to completing the financing process, she received a call informing her that the vehicle had been shown to another couple and sold. This occurred despite our salesperson clearly communicating to management that this deal was essentially set. That information was dismissed, and management allowed another salesperson to show and sell the vehicle without extending us even the courtesy of a phone call to give us the opportunity to finalize the purchase--which we absolutely would have done. I work with dealerships regularly in my profession, and while you hear stories like this, you hope they are exaggerated or rare. Unfortunately, this experience proved otherwise. When I raised the issue with management, the response felt scripted, dismissive, and entirely policy-driven, with no ownership or genuine concern for how poorly this was handled. It became very clear that the priority was selling the vehicle as quickly as possible, regardless of fairness, professionalism, or existing commitments. The message sent was simple: once a faster or more convenient sale appears, an active and committed customer is expendable. That reflects a lack of integrity in both process and leadership. I previously had a positive experience purchasing from Toyota of Cedar Park, which makes this situation even more disappointing. This was not a failure of the salesperson I worked with--it was a management decision, and it speaks volumes about how business is conducted there. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. If you choose to do business here, proceed with caution and do not assume that verbal assurances, credit applications, or scheduled appointments mean anything unless a deal is fully executed. This dealership and its management team should be ashamed of themselves!

    One Star - If I Could Give Zero, I would!…read more I told Jarrett EXACTLY what was wrong with my car and gave him the codes straight from AutoZone. He insisted on charging me $75 to "diagnose" it himself, only come back with the same information I had already told him. Total waste of money. Then he claimed two parts needed replacing - one of which had already been replaced recently. He brushed it off as "defective" and said he'd change it out so the check engine light would turn off. It didn't. Not even close. Next, he said I needed yet another part that I'd have to hunt down myself at a junkyard or eBay. When I asked him - the mechanic - to get the part, he reluctantly agreed, as if doing his actual job was a burden. I told him I would pick up my car at noon on Saturday. Instead, he shut the shop down early because "business was slow," even though their posted hours are 9-4. Then he told me to come on Sunday. On Sunday, he wouldn't even bother showing up and told me to just send him money through Cash App and take my car. Funny how that option magically wasn't available the day before. Days passed. No update. I contacted him - he fed me some story about waiting on a call from "the Ford guy." More days passed. I called again. The call disconnected right when I said who I was. He never responded to my follow-up message. Completely ghosted. So here I am: check engine light still on, problem still unresolved, and $250 gone for absolutely nothing. Great job, Jarrett. I'll never see you again - and that's a promise. And for anyone reading: take a hard look at the "five-star reviews." A bunch are from first-time reviewers and/or people who only had easy jobs done - like replacing headlights. Nothing major. Save your car, your wallet, and your sanity. Go somewhere else.

While Navy Federal has one branch in Round Rock, TX, doing basic financial transactions has been a chore. To sum, I was given a list of locations where I could do transactions with one having an non-existent address and the other branch not having a banking relationship with Navy Federal at all. While I was off work today, I drove out to the Navy Federal on Louis Henna Blvd in Round Rock, TX. I told Justin, the credit union representative, my story about the non-existent location and he told me they could not always update their list and that when I get close to a location I should use Google maps because their addresses could be off by a digit or street. He made this sound so normal. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. How about when financial institutions publish any locations the address should be precisely correct? Then I asked about what locations allowed deposits. He said I had you had to first filter the list from the text I was sent and based on the icons you could see precisely the locations. I filtered on the list and it did not filter as he expected. So, he then said that it works better on a personal computer (PC). Of course, nothing was conveyed regarding a PC filter when the link was texted to me. It only takes $5 to open an account at Navy Federal, i.e. low cost. At this juncture, I am wondering if all the benefits of being a Navy Federal Credit Union member that my brother espoused is really worth the effort. After the Navy Federal counter representative searched on my name and she could not find me in the system, she searched on my phone number and she could not find me in the system, and she finally found me by searching on our address. I asked why she was not able to find me with the previous searches. She said oh that just happens sometimes. I find Navy Federal Credit Union's mission ironic, "Our Members are the Mission." This may be the one and only transaction I do with Navy Federal. I do not currently see Navy Federal's value commiserate with the effort to do business.
