Did I I mention the trade in experience was flawless? BTW went to the Domain location 4 days earlier to test drive a Tesla and look at the various options and models. This issue where we purchased the vehicle. The only hitch was related to properly configuring the Tesla application for the tax incentives. The staff were super helpful. I get it, it's a very different business model and experience then going to a dealer; mixing online, in person and in iPhone app (in my case) experiences, which are certainly unique the first time. I do believe, people want the best for each other, and do want to help. Parked in the Pink Garage BTW. Hey I was queued up first for a Tesla Model 3, then a Cybertruck, back in the day, so thrilled to finally have a Tesla (model Y).

Great customer service loved our sales man, knowledgeable and loved my test drive .ordered one the next day ..excited.

For a car you use an app to buy the process to buy is ridiculous Loves: 1. They let me test drive a car I already bought. They love to let people test drive these things. Heard them saying they had "over 120" drives this week - which I guess is a KPI? They were impressed 2. The keurig machine in the waiting room that kept me occupied I waited 2 hours to sign my app and get a car a week ago. 3. How knowledge the 4 customer service people were when they weren't looking stressed out of their mind Cons: 1. Pricing here is weird - the car has a sticker price, car prices are the discounted based on previous milage, and then they estimate savings from incentives. I am going to be leasing a model 3 Tesla (with their insurance) for about $550/mo - 36 Mo. 2. Heaven help those who had to trade in their car... its crazy. It takes weeks. Dealers have forced Tesla to find work around with their laws. Tesla is a Texas company- stop being dicks. 3. You get what you pay for here... a car that runs smoother than anything Ive driven in my life. God Bless Tesla

I leased a Tesla. Over 3 months, and I haven't received license plates, stickers, and registration. Temporary plates expired 6 weeks ago, and Tesla will not give me new temporary plates. Cannot drive car, and Tesla doesn't care. Customer Sevice is horrible nightmare. Their employees should be fired!

I was scheduled to pickup my vehicle the very last day of the quarter, unknown to me, but the place was packed because of this (I didn't pick the date). Overall I waited an hour or so after my appointment time. There weren't enough chairs to sit in, so I sat in one of the showroom cars with the air blowing since it was hot inside the building. I get it, sales need to be met and cars need to move and they want to get them all out the door before midnight. However when I am spending a lot of money I expect the car to be clean and ready for pickup. The vehicle either wasn't vacuumed at all or they did a really poor job... There was also stains on the headliner. I was able to get these out once arriving home and detailing the car, but it's just annoying and takes a lot away from the car buying experience. You also inspect the car in a dimly lit building inside, in hindsight I would have asked for it to be moved outside before I signed off on the condition. I don't think they even cleaned the car inside, just quickly washed the outside, which to their credit was clean! The crew behind the scenes was ok to work with, however some messages went unanswered in which I had to check in with them a time or two.

This is how my car was left AFTER the repair!!

These individuals are exemplary sales professionals and made my buying experience not only an absolute pleasure but also an easy decision to give them my business rather than Covert Bee Cave. I specifically named these gentleman because speaking with other people at this location I did not receive the same welcome which gave me a bad impression at first. I'm glad I gave them another shot and ended up meeting Derek and David who were outstanding and helped me get my Wife into a new Cadillac Escalade. Together these individuals I mentioned at the beginning gave me a decent trade-in price, a reasonable purchasing price for the new vehicle and made all the paperwork process simple and smooth. At no point was I pressured nor harassed and all my questions were always answered with honesty which goes a long way. Nobody wants to come to a dealership to argue with sales reps when they are spending their hard earned money. Customers want to be treated with dignity and respect, and not like chumps who are bidding at an auction for the approval of the dealership. For this reason, I specifically recommend Covert dealership on 183 when looking to buy a new Cadillac in Austin, Texas. I strongly suggest avoiding Covert Bee Cave because they lack transparency and have ridiculous add ons. That dealership will tell you what you want to hear while lying to your face at the same time. So if you want the same great service that I received ask for Derek McNabb or David Bislar these are the only two gentleman I will ever do business with simply because I was told by other sales people at Covert 183 I would never get a deal on any Escalade ever while out in the parking lot just browsing without even talking with their manager. Some sales people think being withholding with discounts stern on price and tuff on customers is a good sales tactic for some reason then get looked over because nobody wants to deal with that kind of person if they decide to return to buy. Don't give up or give in keep looking ask to talk to someone else till you find someone willing to see the blessing of having a potential sale. I like a sales rep who is upfront isn't afraid of going the extra mile and helping me get a great deal despite what they make on commission. That's the type of person who will go far because they aren't lying and making up excuses the first 5 min of negotiations and aren't afraid of asking question . I've always been told the worst you can hear is no and it's true and you can always move on. Never be attached to a vehicle so much that you give into something uncomfortable be flexible it will go a long way. Anyways I'm glad and blessed to have gotten the help I did. Special thank you to Joe the sales manager and Armen in finance. What wonderful people to buy a car from. They really are amazing and made me feel appreciated as a customer. I highly recommend asking for them if you decide to get a new Cadillac at Covert 183 . On a different note the company is almost done fully rebuilding a brand new Cadillac dealership in place of the old one and I'm excited to see the results within this year when my first maintenance comes up.

My vehicle sat at this dealership for over a month during the first visit, and I received zero proactive updates from my service advisor. I had to personally track down the service manager just to get basic information. When my car was finally returned on January 28, 2026, the problem wasn't even fixed. In April, my car went into limp mode and had to go back in. New advisor, same experience -- weeks of silence, no updates, no communication. I was told it might be a transmission fluid issue, and that the ECM replaced during the prior visit may not have been the root cause. I paid for a repair that didn't fix anything. When I was told my car was ready and drove out to pick it up, it still wasn't repaired. To make matters worse, the underlying issue turned out to be a known Chevrolet service bulletin. For a repair tied to a known manufacturer defect, that is completely unacceptable. I escalated to the general manager, Jay, and while he did help get my vehicle returned, no meaningful effort was made to make this right. A verbal apology does not cover six months of poor communication, two failed service visits, and a bill that should never have been mine to pay. If you value your time, your money, or basic honesty, take your vehicle elsewhere.

I hate this so much that I've bought my last two cars from Carvana simply because I wouldn't have to speak to anyone. I find the stereotypical car-buying experience (new and, especially, used) to be unnecessarily stressful and taxing. Today, this has changed. When I found a slightly better deal locally than I did on Carvana, I took the plunge. From the beginning, Angela was super helpful and responsive. She didn't insist on talking on the phone and was happy to text details, which is infinitely more manageable during the workweek. When it came time to make the trek to Austin e Autos, Angela let me know that she would be off that day and handed off the deal to Isaac. Isaac is the best. Isaac put us through the paces of letting us test drive, then talking numbers. At no point did the numbers they advertised ever change. I came in with pre-approval through USAA, and they did not push me toward in-house financing. This has never happened to me before. They usually push that really hard. Once the numbers were agreed upon, we were handed over to Stephanie for the paper signing. This was equally painless, and there was no push to buy extended warranties, wheel insurance, GAP, etc, etc, etc. The numbers we discussed with Isaac were the exact numbers we signed off on with Stephanie. Incredibly painless, transparent, and honest process. My wife loves her car, and I am very impressed by the buying experience. If you're in the market for a used EV, look here first. All the stars. Lexus has a coffee shop for customers, and here's where this review loses stars. The employee working was cold and unfriendly. She wouldn't smile. She wouldn't engage with anyone. When no customer was at the counter, she stood around, looking unhappy. When I got in line for a second time to get a refill she made me feel like I was bothering her. One thing I noticed that's new is that when you check in it's likely you'll get a call from the sales department asking if you wish to have your car appraised to sell to them (I did). To be honest, I wouldn't buy a new Lexus today with all those small four-cylinder turbo engines and the new spyware cameras that watch you driving. I love my 2010 ES 350 and I wish they still made them like this. I'd definitely buy another one. My visit consisted of a 30 point inspection, drain and fill transmission service and serpentine belt inspection. I did ask to see a sample of the tranny fluid to see how dark it was since the car comes with no dipstick, but they forgot my request. They did run into a problem with the drain plug being stripped from the previous tranny shop so they had to get one from the Toyota location which added an extra hour and a half to my wait. Altogether the inspection and trans service set me back $532. It would've been nice if the inspection included a diagnostic scan to check for any codes. Overall, everything went well, and Harold my advisor was very attentive. You'll pay a little more here than the average shop, but at least you get the right parts and fluids. I'll be back when I need something else fixed.

The fact that the car isn't great isn't the service departments fault but I'll explain my issue with them. I've been to this service department many times and I'm always getting up charged and after their "multipoint inspection", they almost always add a list of repairs that need to be done. When getting quotes and diagnosis from other shops, it's extremely obvious they they up charge and urge that you do repairs that are not necissary. The service department sales people are overall pushy and rude. I've asked multiple times for records of past work done and they will not give it to me. I need digital records and they refuse. Even after recent appointment links to work done are unavailable. I have been very patient, but after my last experience I had to post a review. I brought in my BMW for a recall repair on an ignition starter. They did a multipoint inspection and showed that the exhaust pipe needed a new part. I said go ahead and do it. Got my car back and the exhaust pipes were still uneven. A week later, after barely driving at all, I got an alert that my coolant level was low. This is something they should have checked during inspection, if it was low or had a leak. I can bet with almost 100% certainty that this is not a new issue since when i brought it in a week ago. Unbelievably frustrated. I warn you to not buy a car here because your experience just keeping it running will be hell, and working with the crooks at this service more like "sales" department will take all of the fun away from having a fancy car, i can promise. I have lost so much money trying to keep this car functioning and have had to adjust my work schedule a rediculous amount of times. If you are thinking of buting a BMW, please reconsider. The cars they sell are not nearly as reliable as they used to be In the past. And this service department is the worst Ive ever experienced.

I would rather have the expectations of being in a dealership for 5 hours instead of wasting my time online, filling out all of the documents and being under the impression that I would be in and out in 30 minutes and ask the same questions that were answered online and on the phone when someone from carmax called me. 1.. The process totally wasted my time. I spent a good amount of time online filling out all documentations.Answering all questions only to be asked those same exact questions. When I got to the dealership. 2. I got to the dealership roughly at 4:30. I was told that I would be out numerous times within thirty minutes. All I would have to do is sign and go. Well, that was the first misleading statement from carmax. I did not leave the dealership until 9:30. 3. The salesperson that was assigned to me.His name was ramsey. I never felt comfortable with this guy.He never made me feel as if my best interest was being met. The process felt just like a process.Give me in, get me out.Let him move on to the next person. He spoke to me in a very condescending wait, in fact, I had to correct him a couple of times about the way he was speaking to me. He spoke to me as f I was a individual who lacked the intelligence to understand the process. 4. Ramsay also didn't give me the full carmax experience of when you buy a new car. while waiting 44 and a half hours, I did see other salespeople. When they finished up their sale, walk with their clients to their new car and give them the yellow bow treatment with the pitcher. Well, needless, say that is not an experience that I got with ramsey. As I said previously, everything seemed like a rush process, he made me totally feel like I was an inconvenience to him.And wasting his time. 5. Let's talk about the appraisal process. Now, this isn't something that i'm really upset about, because you can't really have a vehicle appraised online and have an actual good appraisal without an actual appraiser.Looking at the car. Online, they told me, initially I was gonna get $8000 for my car, well, turns out, I only got $6400. 6. Let's talk about the car. I purchased a 2024 BMW 330I with the M2 Sports package with 7,100 miles on it. After spending 425 hours in the dealership, it was finally time for me to get my car. WELL THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WHEN I GOT INSIDE THE CAR WAS THAT THE FLOOR MATS WERE GENERIC FLOOR MATS THAT DID NOT FIT THE CAR AT ALL. AND WHEN I SAY THEY DID NOT FIT THE CAR AT ALL, MEANING THE FLOOR MATS ACTUALLY COVERED THE GAS PEDAL. i brought this to the attention of the floor sales manager. Instead of coming up with helpful solutions from the beginning I was told that the pitchers online did not come with floor mats.So they just threw some floor mats in there. Again, I told this guy that this is a safety issue. The floor mats literally covered the gas.Pedal, and they let me drive off that way. They told me to find some floor mats under a hundred and fifty dollars, and they were reimburse me. Now I'm not the sharpest knife in it. Kitchen drawer? But I would always think that a dealership's top priority is to make sure they're letting you leave in a nice safe vehicle At the very least, they could have said.Hey, let us take these car mats out this vehicle. And when you buy some new ones, just bring us the receipt and reimburse you.No that did not happen. 7. Let's continue to talk about the car. Before carmax sells your car. They are supposed to do a quality inspection on the vehicle. I'm under the impression that this vehicle did not get a dural quality.Inspection. My reasoning for saying that is because the following day When I took the car to where I work at which is ABM W dealership It was pointed out to me that the windshield had a very large crack in it. Now to give carmax credit, they did get that problem.Taken care of they replaced the entire windshield. The car was also missing all four valve stem caps. Does summit all up my first and last car buying experience with carmax was an utter failure. The only reason I left with this car is because of myself. Pride, because I was telling everyone I was buying this car, and I had to deal wrapped up.That's the sole reason that I bought this car. I'm pretty sure that ramsey and his entire sales team mayfield, as if they got one over me by selling me this car at the non negotiated price that I wanted online and then me still buying a car after the whole entire bad experience. Well I may have left with this car But carmax will never see me again as a customer, and I hope that these words read to someone before they make a decision to buy a vehicle from you all..
