Two days after my first repair, I started having issues with the Touch Bar and the screen. That problem is still not fixed, despite multiple return visits. The camera worked fine after the first repair, but it later stopped working. On my most recent visit, an employee said the camera issue might be related to the logic board. The screen/display problems have also continued despite multiple repair attempts. On my last visit, I was met with an attitude, like they were doing me a favor by addressing problems with a device they had already repaired. I called customer service and explained that in the two years I've had this device, I've been in multiple times for the same issue, including three different screens, and it still isn't fixed. Then they keep your device for weeks no follow calls nothing. You call for follow up and attitude. I should not be doing customer service to them. I called the customer service number and was told they wouldn't do anything because the device was originally repaired over 12 months ago, despite my repeated visits since then for the same problem. The guy I spoke to just said yea sorry for what happened. We can't help. He had that on repeat. They use cheap replacement parts, and when those parts fail, they act like fixing their own mistake is a favor to you. They will LIE to you and tell you they use quality parts. They do not. I'm filing a report with the BBB. Do not take your devices here. /// UPDATE 8/25 One of their employees looked up my personal LinkedIn profile the day after I filed my complaint. He had my information because I was a customer in an active dispute with the store, and he used it to look me up personally on his own account. That is not normal, and it is not okay. I filed a formal complaint with corporate about the repair. Their response: denied any responsibility because the repair was "over 12 months ago," despite documented continuous, unresolved visits for the same issue this entire time. No replacement, no repair, nothing offered. When I told them about the employee going through my personal information, they passed it off to the local franchise owner instead of taking any responsibility. Their response to my original review was to tell me to reach out to corporate. Corporate then told me to go back to them. Nobody wants to actually take responsibility, they just want to pass you back and forth until you give up. If they're taking private information off of tickets to look customers up personally, what are they doing with the pictures and personal information that's on the devices people bring in? Filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Illinois Attorney General, and the FTC. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR DEVICE OR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.
