Their attention to service, and expertise in what they sell is a testament to this. I came in looking for a new center channel, which they were able to get me within a few days. When I came in to pick it up, they spent the next two hours demoing a variety of speakers and electronics. They knew I wasn't looking to buy, but was still curious. When the time came to upgrade two more speakers, not only were they prompt in getting me what I wanted, but they also helped me exchange my recent purchase for a different model. Basically, I bought a speaker in one finish and then later wanted it in a different finish. They helped me out with exchanging this even a few months after the sale. Never once were they pushy in trying to up-sell me on more expensive gear, nor were they smug or elitist when I told them what equipment I was running. I don't have crazy expensive stuff, but I think it's good for what I need. I appreciate that they realize their customers may have different needs and budgets. They made me feel like my business mattered to them even though I was only spending a modest amount on three speakers. An added bonus, they also happen to be in a low sales tax part of Naperville, witch saved me about 3%. That said, I would have chosen to work with them regardless. Bottom line. They know their stuff, and understand good value and performance in sound and video. They work with you to get you what you need for a fair price. I definitely recommend them.

Had a great time, I was interested in subs at the time and was impressed by the JL audio demo. After the demo, I met Mike, Holm Audio owner. Seemed like a cool guy. He loaned me a couple of E110 subs to demo at home. He reached out via text to see how I was doing and negotiate a possible purchase. When I told him I was interested in demoing the E112's he told me they only one, he tried to sell me the 10 and 12 inch sub at a discount. I wasn't interested, as the size difference would bug me too much. So he asked me if was interested in anything else. I told him I was also interested in a direct to consumer subwoofer brand from Norway. Well I guess that upset him because he told me to return the subs right away, and that I would not be in his "VIP club". Needless to say, I returned the subs and did not make a purchase. This sucks because I really wanted to support a cool local Hifi shop like Mike's. But if he can't accept the fact that people are cross shopping consumer direct brands, he has a rude awakening coming. One star is for the staff, they have been nothing but amazing. In the end, I found a deal online for a pair of E112's that was better than what Mike could offer.

I have used Technology Professionals several times since 2016 for different projects. They are a…read more1st class company for the following reasons: 1) First and foremost, they are extremely knowledgeable about so many technology-related projects; 2) Jeff Dempsey is a personable and patient businessman who takes the time to listen, to suggest alternative solutions, and to explain exactly what he is doing to make your home a more enjoyable place to live; and 3) He never tries to upsell his products or services - on the contrary, he will suggest ways you can accomplish your goals at a lower price. I first used Jeff when I was referred to him by the contractor who was renovating my entire condo in 2016. After meeting Jeff, I hired him to install remote control shades on 12 large windows, and to install a wall-mounted large-screen television complete with a Sonos surround sound system suggested by Jeff. I could not have been happier with the efficient and clean installations. And now, 4 1/2 years later, the shades and the home theater are operating perfectly, just as they did on day one. Now I've again contacted Jeff to install a new TV and surround sound system, as well as to see what can be done to move our wifi signal more efficiently around the condo. He responded as soon as I contacted his company to arrange the work, and I'm looking forward to seeing him at our condo next week. It's just such a rare pleasure to deal with a man and his company who truly care about a customer's needs, who is not looking just to make as much money as possible, and who is a pleasure to deal with. I have recommended Technology Professionals to several friends over the years, and I can confidently recommend them to you.

He chose MixMastered Acoustics because their prices are awesome, they are a local business, and their shipping is free. For me, I gave my hubby two thumbs up to purchase from here, because I care how the room and panels look and was thrilled they offered an off-white linen burlap. Thankfully I won't have to look at some 80's-vibe velvet wrapped panels in my home. After much anticipation, the panels were delivered. Once we opened the box and compared it with the original swatch, the dye lot was a tad off and more on the yellow side than the creamier side. The panels did not look good in the room, so we contacted the owner, and Dan bent over backwards to correct the situation. He was determined for us to be happy and sent us another swatch for our approval and ordered fabric from another manufacturer to make sure we were satisfied. Dan personally offered to pick up and deliver rewrapped panels to us, but we wanted to expedite the situation and drove out to meet him in person at his workspace and he rewrapped them in the newly selected fabric while we waited. Top notch service, matched with a top notch product. This is what you can expect from an independent business that truly wants you to be happy. We don't have the room pulled together yet, but as soon as we do, I'll add more photos to this review.
