Dennis is awesome! Very detailed with installations and easy to work with. Dennis installed our 65" TV over a brick fireplace with a mantel mount. It was precisely placed and was very accommodating with any suggestions. We would definitely use him again. read more

Brilliant service! Dennis came to look at my security camera system that had stopped working. He had it all figured out in about two minutes, and working in less than ten minutes! I really wasn't expecting that, I thought I was going to be told I needed a new system, and it would take time, but no, it was all done, and he was on his way in under half a hour. I would absolutely recommend Dennis, he showed up on time, provided a professional, honest service and charged me the minimum for his visit. read more

Amazing experience!!!!! If you think the 5 star ratings are too good to be true - they are no joke! Dennis provided consultation before we even agreed to the job. He was responsive (same day service), personable, thorough and extremely fair with his pricing. Would highly recommend using Dennis! read more

Dennis was awesome, professional, reasonably price, we will continue to use him, and recommend him, wholeheartedly

Dennis came and mounted an 85 inch tv for us last week. He was easy to schedule an appointment with and brought everything necessary to mount the TV. We had our own tv and sound bar mounts, which he was able to use and improve upon. The mounting screw from the third party mount would have broken the TV and Dennis realized this quickly and used screws from his own kit. He also helped us mount another TV. He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. Would recommend him to anyone wanting to wall mount a TV! read more

Audio Electric and Design did an excellent job getting my speakers realigned with my TV and installing my subwoofer, which required a second trip for which he didn't charge. Dennis is kind, patient and reliable, and will do what is necessary to make things right. I'm grateful that I know him now, so if we ever have other issues, he'll be the first person I call. Highly recommend his work. read more

A few years ago Dennis wall mounted our tv so when that tv broke this year I called him again to mount our new larger tv. Just as I remember Dennis was great! Professional, prompt, and friendly! He arrived right on time and got to work hanging the tv in about an hour. He even took the time to make minor adjustments to make sure it was perfectly centered on our wall. Highly recommend him for any home work or tv mounting services! read more

Dennis is the best! Very quick to respond to my call, so kind and professional. He was able to diagnose this issue quickly (my 17 year old receiver stopped working). He happened to have an extra receiver on hand and was willing to just "gift" it to me, only charging for his labor (also very affordable). I can't recommend Dennis enough for any of your AV needs. read more

I can't recommend Dennis enough. For about a year, we had been trying to replace a faulty HDMI cable routed through our floor and wall in the family room. * Over 10 different companies came to our house to give quotes. * Only 5 actually sent the promised quotes. * None were able to replace the faulty cable with several claiming it was impossible (without cutting open the entire wall) due to how the cable had been routed. After giving up for a few months and living with a temporary cable running sloppily across the floor, we were forced to revisit this project due to our 2 year old becoming increasingly curious and active. It was only a matter of time before he damaged.. something. I reluctantly tried Yelp again. Dennis was extremely responsive and tried to help us find a solution without the cost of rerouting the cable (and potentially opening a wall). Fortunately, the previous house owners had also wired cat5 to all of the rooms and the central entertainment closet. Unfortunately, despite Dennis' best efforts, none of the HDMI over ethernet options worked. Even though it didn't solve the problem, I really appreciate him going the extra mile to try to save us some time and expense. Once we realized these options wouldn't work, Dennis agreed to come over and see what can be done. My confidence was very low given our experience with previous attempts to replace the cable, but we decided try one more time. Not only was Dennis able to replace the cable where no one else could, he did so at a very reasonable cost. No walls were harmed in the process! Throughout the entire process, Dennis was very nice, professional, and total rockstar! read more

My surround sound stopped working on my home entertainment system via my Denon receiver. I watched hours of YouTube videos to try and figure it out and finally gave up and called Dennis. He came over and not only did he fix it within 20 minutes, he showed me how to fix it myself if it happens again. He also adjusted the sound from each of my speakers for far more superior sound. Incredibly grateful. read more

Dennis is great! We had bought a new home and there was already a home theater setup in terms of wiring. The bad news was that there was no way to know what wires were which and the wires all looked messy. Dennis came in and thoroughly checked all the wires, matched them with the right speakers, and then put banana plugs on the ends of the messy open wires. He also helped me set up the new home theater for 7.1 sound. He also mounted a few TVs. Dennis does a really thorough job and he was at our home from 9 in the morning to 7 at night (on a Saturday!) working away and making sure everything was right. I recommend him to anyone that wants to do anything with setting up a new home theater or other Audiovisual needs. read more

Great experience with Dennis! We had already mounted our TV ourselves, but needed help with the in-wall wiring so everything looked neat and clean. I reached out to a few places I found on Yelp and got a great vibe from Dennis. He was able to come next day and his pricing was reasonable and competitive. Booked! He knew just the trick to get the wiring figured out and was able to complete the job in less than 30 minutes. Payment was also super easy because we just used Venmo. He was super nice and we would definitely work with him again. He's clearly a pro and has been doing this type of work for almost 30 years! read more

Dennis and Audio Electric was the answer to our problems during our hectic schedule to open a brick and mortar. He was so quick to respond , professional and came ons-site right away to give as a quote. He was so understanding and accommodating of our tight timeline that he worked at our store all the way to opening day. Dennis also knew we needed recommendations on equipment since we were on a budget and gave us good options to choose from. We had an 8 indoor speaker set, 2 televisions set up and an open sign placed. All are still in excellent condition and working like a charm. Dennis was also a great individual to work with.We definitely look forward to working with him again! read more

Dennis helped me update a complicated home theater setup that was 20 years old. It was state-of-the-art when installed, but ready in 2023 for some of the newer technology. Dennis was thoroughly conversant with the "old time" equipment (nine of the old speakers and a subwoofer stayed) and helped me sort through the available upgrades. When he was done installing the new television, receiver, Blu-ray player, and IR connecting block -- WOW! This is a guy who really knows what he is doing. And, on top of that, he is a pleasure to deal with -- genial, shows up on time, and communicates clearly. Hire this man! read more

Dennis was great. I had tried to mount my TV above our brick fireplace but had trouble drilling into the brick. Dennis made it over same day, charged a fair price, and got it looking great. Dennis was awesome to work with and did an amazing job mounting our TV. He was personable, walked me through the process, and went above my expectations. We only needed a TV mounted, but we were treated like his most important job. This was a great experience with a friendly local business owner, definitely will use Dennis again when we mount our next TV and if we ever need any other audio or electric needs. Also, he surprised me by putting all the wires behind the wall, and provided me with the little circles of wall he took out so we can put them back if we ever move the TV. read more

I started my search knowing nothing about TV mounting so I sent a message to a number of TV mounting services. They were all pretty vague as to what they covered and what extra charges would be and when Dennis called and texted me he gave me the exact price with no hidden fees. His price was extremely competitive since I wasnt dealing with a company like ABT or Best Buy he was able to give realistic prices and in my opinion better service. Other places said things like ( oh you want the wires hidden? Thats a way different price) Uh yea Im hanging a TV I dont want wires running down the wall. Dennis didnt do that he said ok lets hang the soundbar, of course the wires will be hidden thats the point. I have had furniture brought in tv's mounted etc but when you meet someone who is doing the work and running the company it makes it a better experience. You dont get a couple of workers sent to you with an hourly wage who just want to slap it on the wall and move on. In this case you get someone who cares how it looks takes their time and gives you the price you would think it would cost to have a TV mounted. This was honestly the best service experience I have had and when compared to a larger company the craftsmanship doesn't compare GO WITH DENNIS! read more

I was having a roof deck renovated and my contractor, last minute, made me aware he didn't know how to do any of the AV work. I found Dennis at Audio Electric and Design (choosing solely based on reviews) and WOW were these reviews right. Dennis got over to my house within a day and was ready to start work THAT day. He set up 6 surround sound speakers, hiding all cords and not leaving until it was perfect (this guy is the ultimate perfectionist!) he also hung my outdoor tv, securing properly and bringing a new mount to install (the original purchased by the contractor wouldn't work.) I rarely am this "wowed" by services and Dennis blew me away. Will call him again for all other speaker/TV work! read more

Dennis is AMAZING! Super professional, prompt and thorough! I needed a huge (82 inch) TV mounted in my living room and a smaller (55 inch) TV mounted in my bedroom. He did both with no problems (even with aluminum studs in my walls) and was able to hide all the wires and cable boxes. I was very indecisive/unsure about where exactly (and how high) to mount the TVs and he was INCREDIBLY patient in helping me decide. I can't thank him enough. He takes pride in his work and wants to make sure you're completely satisfied with everything he does. And he's reasonable priced! As a law student, I'm forced to be financially conscious. Generally, you get what you pay for, and after suffering for choosing the cheapest movers, I was nervous when Dennis quoted such a reasonable price to mount my 40" Samsung Smart TV in my new apartment. However, Dennis' work was anything but cheap - he is friendly, responsive, and easy to schedule with, showed up on time and prepared, and paid attention to aesthetics, not just getting the job done. Not only is it clear that my TV was professionally mounted, but he has also offered to return to adjust a minor detail and patch up an area on the wall from the previous tenant's mount. And he takes credit cards! A gem in the industry! read more
