This review is long overdue. I used Ron oh back in 2016 to mount 2 TV's onto brackets at my condo. The 1st TV had to go on brackets and he also installed my Bose Speakers to the left and right of the TV which looked sharp. He ran the wires and kept every wire hidden. The 2nd TV was in the master bedroom and as you'll see in the picture, he did a good job of hiding the electrical cords so it could be near the power outlets. Shame on me for not painting the white covering to match the color of the wall but you get the point. He was friendly and his pricing was fair. I plan on using him again very soon! read more

Hired Twizted Home Entertainment through Thumbtack. I thought the team was generally good to work with while the install was happening, albeit a few issues here and there. However, later found out that there was substantial damage done to one of the speakers I had installed (MSRP $999/each). I reached out to the owner and was told there was no way their team could've caused that damage and to return my products to the vendor. Pictures show this is clearly not an issue from use, as the driver is pretty much shoved in on one side. Notwithstanding, some of the work was not performed as initially discussed (i.e. ethernet cables to cameras were run outside instead of through soffits/attics), and the team was quick to make holes in the ceilings and walls (which ended up being in the wrong places). Given how things have shaken out, I cannot recommend this company for any work. Let the work speak for itself in the photos and see the other reviews online regarding damage. The free work Ron mentioned is shown below with the one ethernet cable hanging from the side of the house. I paid in full afterwards, so if I had high expectations or demands that were "met," I think the highest expectation I had was for them not to damage the very thing they're installing. I actually have texts from Mo partway into the installation where he essentially told me to install things myself because he thought they were too valuable for him to install (which was part of the services I hired them for). Also beware of some of the other positive reviews, as one just popped up that of course mentions "no holes" for similar set up and the initials match one of the employees on Yelp (Mo N.), but on Google and Thumbtack it shows two different names altogether for the same review. Seems like they're padding the reviews and photos so you won't see the work they did at my home.... They're also now threatening me via text to stop updating my reviews for calling them out. There's been a handful of 5 star reviews in the last 24 hours after posting my review used some old photos from their Thumbtack and website (which they removed and replaced). read more

I had a very annoying experience with this outfit. I wasted a bunch of time emailing and texting the guys at Twizted, attempting to get some basic installation work completed. At first everything went smooth: The Owner answered my call, and referred me to a Project Manager. I sent the Project Manager detailed product information and photos. He then quoted their cost to install. I accepted their quote. I even complimented him on his professionalism. (Oops, consider that compliment officially rescinded. Strike it from the record!) So I was left trying to get in touch with the Project Manager in order to schedule his installation. He responded, saying he'd get back to me shortly with a date. Two days passed. I reached out to him again. Crickets. Hey, I can take a hint. I went elsewhere. I wish they would've just ignored me from the start instead of pretending to be interested in my project. DO NOT HIRE ***NO INSURANCE*** LIED ABOUT COVERAGE Hired company to rehang a 120" screen in my basement. Before I hired them, I asked if they had insurance and they confirmed they did. When they came to my house, they damaged the screen and then denied they had done it. They eventually provided me with an agent and a policy number. When I filed my claim, the insurance company told me that the owner does not carry insurance for damage that occurs during a job. When I asked what kind of insurance he did have, the declined to say because I am not the policy owner. Bottom line, hire these guys at your own risk. CJ and Greg are THE best! I was looking for Control4 dealers who could do whole home audio video and met CJ thru a request that I'd sent on Thumbtack. My first impression was very very good as we had a brief 5 min meeting at my place (it was my fault as I'd initially called him at a time but then I got double booked). However, CJ was very quick to understand what I need and more importantly was very open to work with me on purchasing the best devices. Unlike some of the folks I'd met before I met him, he did not push me to buy products only from him and was really and truly thinking about my best interests. The smart security setup was a breeze and both of them were available literally 24x7 if something doesn't feel right or otherwise. The smart lighting install had a few issues due to how complicated the wiring was at my place but they not only did great with the setup but also fixed the previous issues! Not to forget, they enabled all the Ethernet access points in my home so now I have a wired backhaul throughout. I'm waiting for them to start doing smart shades (a new venture that CJ plans to add in 2022) so I can be their first customer for the same. I had Ron at Twizted Home Entertainment come out to replace component cabling that had been installed when my home was built. I wanted to replace with HDMI cabling. I had three rooms with the old cabling. The cabling snaked through the walls, and I did not think I could do the job myself. Ron gave me a competitive quote for the 3 rooms and came over 2 days later to do the job. I thought it would take a few hours and be as straightforward of fishing the HDMI cable through the same openings, but it turned out to be a much bigger job due to the way my builder snaked the cabling.
