This team is great - From Julia to the techs - they're strategic, informative, they push back when something doesn't make sense and my project worked out better for it. They're a very thorough and strong team. I was doing a rooftop/pergola TV/soundbar install. I had a 55" Samsung Terrace. I had a SONOS Ray soundbar, since my entire house is SONOS, but they really pushed me NOT to go w the SONOS and make sure to get a weatherproof Samsung Terrace Soundbar that fits perfectly w the TV... They came back as soon as I had the Soundbar, they even fortified the mounting wood pillar to my pergola frame to ensure everything remains stead. I'm super pleased and it was affordable, timely, and the communication was stellar. read more

Super fast, super friendly, highly skilled and just did a perfect job. Highly recommend.

This is second time I've hired Chicago TV Installer and both experiences were great. They're responsive, on time, professional, and fixed an issue that others struggled with. I would work with them again read more

I can't commend them enough! I got a TV during Black Friday, and reached out to them to get a quote. They responded within a couple minutes, which was surprising because I asked for the quote late at night. I provided them with my TV and soundbar model information, and they immediately responded with info on the mounts (the TV mount was included with the TV and I didn't even know, but they did). They provided a perfectly reasonable quote and I didn't feel pressured into a sale. Then they worked with me to find a good time and date to install, and even rescheduled twice when my TV shipment got delayed. They called me about an hour before their scheduled arrival time to let me know they were on their way, and they were PUNCTUAL! My appointment was set for 11:00 and at 11:02, they called to tell me that they were outside. It took them less than an hour to assess, install, and clean up and whenever they had a question about my mounting, they would ask before cutting. Such a refreshing experience! Their impeccable customer service, knowledge, and professionalism are stellar, and I sing their praises to anyone who asks. read more

Chicago TV Installer - 65" Samsung Frame install. A difficult one to install but they did great! - Home Theatre Installation Near Me

Second time using Chicago TV Installers. I was so happy with their work 5 years ago that I immediately made an appt to have them hang our televisions in our new home. Extremely professional, on time and completed they work quickly. They offer the mounts (we purchased 2 full motion mounts and 1 that was flush) as well as wiring. One tv wasn't able to have the wires go down the back of the dry wall and they came equipped with wire covers. Will be using them again in order to mount an outdoor television. read more

Just had Chicago TV Installer out to mount my 65". It looks great and I'm so happy with their work. But I loved their customer service even more. Next day appointment Called when they were an hour out Arrived on scheduled Cleaned up after themselves Honest and fair quote When I made the appointment I was unsure if I wanted in-cables. They would bring stuff for both in-wall cables or cable covers and that I could make a gametime decision. Def would hire them again! read more

These guys were great. They have helped us out twice now, because we don't know how to hook anything up. They helped us connect our whole entertainment system. Speakers, amplifier, TV, internet, Nintendo Switch, DVD player...everything! They came to our home in 24 hours. read more

We had the best experience working with Boris and his team. The lady who I spoke with to schedule our appointment was kind and professional, and she clearly explained what to expect for our appointment. We received a heads up when Boris and his team were on their way, and they arrived promptly as scheduled. Boris and his colleague did a phenomenal job mounting our Samsung Frame TV with its decorative frame, which was not an easy task. They were extremely professional and took their time with measurements and centering, and I truly appreciated that they made absolutely sure that we were happy with the positioning of the TV. Boris and his colleague also gave good insight on what worked best for our set up, e.g., the type of mount used and dealing with our off-level mantle. We cannot recommend Boris and his team enough, they are worth every penny! read more

Stephan and his team did a great job with installing our Mantle Mount TV over our fireplace. The scheduling was quick and efficient. It took the guy about 2 hrs to finish the project, since we have a stone fireplace and we wanted an outlet created above the fireplace. They don't offer patching up the wall though, but they mentioned that during scheduling. read more

Chicago TV Installer - My mounted tv - Home Theatre Installation Near Me

I used Chicago TV Installer twice, and I am glad I did! Recently bought a condo and my partner and I wanted to mount some TVs. I have mounted all my TV before but really wanted to hide cables in wall and wanted a more professional touch. Boris and crew are quick, clean and pay close attention to detail. They did an excellent job mounting one TV in my office and the another in our living room. Did what they need to do to hide the cables in the wall and cleaned up after themselves. If you need your TV mounted I highly recommend you give them a call. read more

Great installation. Called them same day after our original installers couldn't do the job. They were able to come out the same day and install 3 TV's, with wires hidden. Great job, reasonably priced and would hire them again for additional installation. Overall I was extremely impressed with the service. Our floors were a bit dirty afterwards, and would have loved for them to clean up afterwards, but other than that it was perfect. read more

Chicago TV Installer - Home Theatre Installation Near Me

We had Chicago Installers do 2 things. The first was removing a TV that was mounted on the wall and replacing it with a larger TV. In so doing, they were able to hide the cable wires and the power wire behind the wall. That part was relatively simple but connecting to WI-FI became complicated because we could not find the Wi-Fi password. Although we thought we had the password it turned out to be incorrect. Boris patiently searched our cell phone and somehow found the correct password. The second thing we had them do was to move a TV that was on our refrigerator and mount it on the opposite wall. In order to connect it to the cable, they had to run a line from the fridge area to the opposite wall. Once again, they were able to hide the cable wire and the electrical power wire. Boris and Yero are excellent workman and they really know what they are doing, I highly recommend them. read more

Absolutely first class service and communication. Very prompt, Boris was able to get me in two days after my initial contact when someone cancelled an appointment with his team. Extremely easy to setup an appointment and great installation. I had an outdoor tv and mount already purchased and they came in and installed the outdoor tv easily. I was worried about mounting outdoors but they knew what to do and what to look out for. Since they have a lot of experience I got to get some perspective of what others were doing for outdoor TVs too. They even mounted a hose holder I was wanting to mount! I will be using them for any future tv mounting work I have! read more

I had the most wonderful experience with the Chicago TV Installer team. They showed up on time, we with extra materials (we told them that we already had a mount), communicated with me, and were very kind. We are in an old lofted space and because of the walls/studs we couldn't use the mount we had. The mount was too bulky, our TV was too heavy (75"), and the TV would have ripped out from the wall eventually. The guys were so knowledgeable! They had another mount (for a very reasonable price), installed it so quickly AND hid the chords. I had another TV (i didn't ask about mounting) and they were able to do that was well for additional cost. Will definitely be using them again! Both TVs look amazing, we are SO happy! read more

Thank you. This team was awesome. I moved and they were an essential part of the success. I scheduled a wall unit installation the day after my move. On move day, the movers could not remove the tv wall brace from the old space. I called the installers and they were so flexible. They came to the old space to remove the wall bracket, then transported it to the new location. They were so detailed! They installed the television above a fireplace and noticed the marble mantle was a millimeter thicker on one end than the other. They called me over to show that the television was level and the mantle was not. They were fast, communicative, careful, reasonably priced, and took safety seriously. Did a great job. Clean install. Responsive to calls and messages and were on time. scheduled appointment on short notice

Scheduled for Boris's team to come on a Saturday and they arrived on time. They mounted my heavy plasma to my fireplace using my mount and mounted my tv with no problem. They had cautioned that my Comcast DVR may not last long on the Velcro mounts they placed on the back of the tv, but Alex said a year was probably adequate. The box fell off the tv and shattered less than 24 hours later. I was thankful that Comcast was forgiving and didn't charge me but they came back out a week later and put my cable box up behind my tv in a jerry-rigged cradle because it's "too heavy and hot" to mount. Given how many people have Comcast DVR's, I figured this would be a problem they were actively trying to solve. Boris was very good about the problem and getting the team back out to correct the issue. It wasn't a perfect solution but t will work. I was pretty pissed it fell and not happy that the solution was to hide the box as it is, but they did do a great job mounting the tv physically into the fireplace. They did leave a bit of a mess on my fireplace to clean up. Pros: fair price, great mounting of actual tv, on time for appointment, sent team back to fix on a Friday night Cons: didn't do it 100% right the first time, posed problems only after the box had fallen, told me they would charge me more to run wires in wall because "box couldn't be mounted" read more

Chicago TV Installer - Home Theatre Installation Near Me

Yelp says 3 stars is A-OK. I agree with that and would use Boris again but I felt the process was a bit rushed and there were a couple of setbacks. I'll start with the good. Boris and his assistant showed up on time and on short notice. Also, after I let Boris know that there was a problem with the way that one of the cables was installed, Boris came over and fixed it the same day. Boris is certainly punctual and has integrity. There were a few things that prevent me from giving a 5 star review. First, the process was a bit rushed. Boris is very efficient so the process was a bit of a whirlwind. I didn't receive an itemized invoice and, as a result, the pricing was a bit confusing. Ultimately, it made sense after asking him to slow down for me while I wrote it all down. In fairness to Boris, he was only supposed to hang a 49" TV for which I already had a mount but after he got there I asked him if he also wanted to do my 75" for which I did not yet have a mount. I'm sure that made it more complicated. Second, the TV was being hung on a drywall exterior wall. I did not know this at the time, but it is fairly common for new construction to use spray foam insulation between the drywall and exterior wall. This is great for temperature and sound but it makes it much more difficult (but not impossible) to run cables behind the wall (I will get to that in a moment). I would have preferred if Boris had warned me *before* he cut a hole in the wall that he might be unable to run cables behind the drywall. That way, I could have made an informed decision about whether the risk and additional fee was worth it. Third, after cutting open the wall and finding spray foam, Boris informed me that it wasn't possible to run cable behind the wall. Fortunately, the TV that I had purchased was cracked out of the box so Boris could not finish the job that day. In the meantime, my wife and I did some research and figured out how to run the cables behind the wall so we (1) cut an additional hole, (2) ran the cables, and (3) hung the TV on the mount, essentially doing most of the work ourselves. Fourth, the components that he offers on-site are *way* overpriced. For example, $57 for a non-articulating wall mount that goes for somewhere between $21-33 on Amazon. $30 for an 8' optical cable that goes for about $7-9 on amazon or BestBuy. Therefore, my suggestion is that you do your research ahead of time and make sure that you have ALL of your components when he shows up. If you are going to conceal cables, you'll probably want to buy longer cables ahead of time. All said, Boris is a good guy and I would use him again for certain jobs. read more

Boris and his colleague did a great job installing my new Mantle Mount. Made a call to them (they were the first of five outreaches per Mantle Mount website and the only one who actually answered my call). Confirmed an appt for 3 days later. Showed up 10 mins early, called me prior. Discovered they'd have to do a rewire plus install, extra cost was fair. And they even had to get creative with installing the soundbar (also an extra cost, which was fair) despite MMount telling me it'd be no problem. These guys were quick, efficient, tidied up after they were done and tested everything properly to make sure it worked. Would definitely recommend contacting these folks for quick, efficient and fairly priced work! read more
