This is the best new restaurant that the Orem/Provo area has seen in a long time. It is extremely healthy, yet still delicious. I would recommend the chicken Mediterranean pita sandwich with a bowl of Brazilian açaí. The owners are Brazilian, so the açaí as well as Brazilian lime aid is very authentic. He was passionate about his food and his service, and was so nice that he even gave us some free cheese bread (pão de queijo) on our way out the door. Highly recommended!! read more

The whole menu looked good! There are so many healthy choices! We had a hard time deciding. We ended up choosing a zucchini salad and inspiration acai bowl! They were both delicious!!! I really wish there were more places like this in Provo/Orem. Places that actually offer vegetable heavy/healthy dishes. Apart from being healthy, you get this phenomenal warm cheese bread with your salad. I have been craving another piece ever since I ate my salad yesterday. The reason I do not give this place 4 stars, is purely because of the organization. The way the restaurant is set up is HORRIBLE. There are three separate lines depending on what type of food you want. Customers never know exactly where to go and are just smashed together in this mishmashed line. There isn't an easy way for the person who is making your food to transfer it to you, so there is this awkward hand-off near the register. All of the spoons/forks knives are also right in front of the register, so everyone stands there waiting for you to gather your cutlery/napkins since they still need to pay. PLEASE pay someone to come in an organize your restaurant to make the process flow more smoothly. It would really improve the experience and quality of the restaurant. read more

I loved having a healthy place to eat cause normally when I am traveling I end up eating whatever is available and by the time I get home I don't feel good. I was really impressed with the lunch I had this afternoon at Aubergine. My meal was absolutely delicious and made with extremely fresh looking ingredients. I was extra happy to see little basil and mint plants growing at the end of the food prep area, so they could just snip off what was needed right there. It was also a very cozy and clean atmosphere, and the server was friendly and helpful (she recommended a sauce that would go well with the falafel). I had a combo that included a half sandwich, side of baked sweet potatoes, and lemonade. I chose falafel for the sandwich, and it was flavorful and a nice texture. They had a variety of vegetable toppings to choose from, as well as sauces and spreads. I LOVED both the sweet potatoes and the lemonade, which included cucumber and fresh mint. I would highly recommend this restaurant to a friend. They have a lot of vegetarian options, but also chicken and salmon. read more

Even though I'm a omnivore for life I do like to have days or weeks without meat on occasion. On these occasions Aubergine and Co. is a great place to visit. I really enjoy their falafel and their baba ghanoush. The juice bar is the most impressive part for me. The food I got, the warm chicken bowl with almond rice, was cold and bland, and I felt sick afterwards. We will not be going there again.

Wow, that sucked. We got a salad with salmon, a side of falafel and a side of sweet potato bites. Couple tips: 1. Healthy food need not be dry food. If the falafel crumbles to the touch, it's too dry. The salmon was dead when you got it. There was no need to kill it again. Especially since you obviously heated up frozen, pre-cooked salmon portions from the freezer aisle. 2. Not everyone loves salad with fruit in it. Come up with a few more options. 3. If someone says they'd like to create their own salad, just let them. Nothing is gained when you repeatedly insist to the customer (and mysteriously, others) that you are making them a Mediterranean salad. That was just weird. I finally asked you to throw on some kalamata olives just to help keep your worldview intact. 4. I imagine the jalapeno avocado and jalapeno cilantro dressings are good, but you were out. I got Italian instead. Dear kids working their first jobs: salad dressing separates. If you don't mix it, you hand the customer a container of oil. 5. As we got in the car my wife said, "The good news is where we're going to run errands, there's a Taco Bell." $23 later, I can say my wife thought the sweet potato bites were ok. read more

I went to Aubergine and Company yesterday at 8:00pm, and hour before they closed and every single chair was up on it's table, there was a guy sweeping, and all the bins with the food in them had their plastic lids on them. We walked in and were completely confused thinking they were closed, but they said they weren't. We asked why they had put all the chairs up, and covered all the food, and they wouldn't explain it to us. We got our food and they asked us if we were going to take it to go, but we said we wanted to eat it there considering they were still open for a whole hour! So, the guy sweeping pulled a chair off of one of the tables for us so we could sit down. It was so bizarre and uncomfortable!! Poor customer service!! More people came in after us who also seemed confused, and the sweeper guy had to take down more chairs for people to sit down. Each time someone walked in, the people at the smoothie bar seemed frustrated, but they were still open for another hour!! Been trying recently to keep my restaurant cheat days limited to places focused quality rather than quantity while still keeping it quick. Found this humble abode on Yelp one afternoon while visiting Orem. My sister and I liked the calm, cool, and collected vibe of this place. The food is prepared fresh and it tastes like it! The food has a very green vibe (watch out mammas learning millennial talk) and tastes healthy. Overall I really enjoyed my salad! My sister ordered the pizza which had fresh chopped tomatoes in it. Normally I'm not a tomato lover but that pizza was so good! Would definitely come here again. Lovely staff! read more

Salads are pretty good, the hummus is bland, basically a glorified mush. The juices aren't even that healthy and overall this place isn't "organic" and "clean" like they claim to be. I swear they do something to the chicken that either makes it taste terrible or maybe they simply don't use quality chicken. I've come a few times out of desperation but this doesn't compare to the healthy market-style restaurants anywhere in NY or CA. read more

We ate at Aubergine and Company last evening - it was our first time. We are absolutely delighted to find this (new to us) restaurant. I've been here a few times for their Acai Bowls which are good enough, but if you are looking to pop in for a quick treat then this is NOT the place. Every single time I have come, they have never been super busy but for some reason my Acai Bowl has taken over 30 MINUTES to be made. I understand that Acai Bowls take a little bit longer to make than a regular smoothie but a half an hour when I ordered the minute I walked in?? I wish I could say it was one time but this has happened every. single. time. So yes... a good alternative when you have a sweet tooth, but be prepared to wait around because apparently it takes 6 staff members to stand around and make one bowl at a time. read more

So this is really a 3.5 star review. The ingredients and amount you get per sandwich is great. I had the chicken that came with loads of veggies and hummus. The real issue is flavor. Even with the Greek dressing, I felt as if I was biting into a dry pocket. There wasn't much cohesion in the sandwich and nothing seemed to meld well. I also had a chance to try the rice pudding. I felt like this definitely lacked some sweetness. However, the texture and coconut shavings weren't bad. All in all I'm not sure if I would come back. read more

So good. I got a baked falafel sandwich and a side of butternut squash soup. The falafel was really light and had great flavor. You get to pick six "toppings" and each one was delicious. I was a little bummed that I had to pay extra for the feta cheese, but it's worth it. I would give it 5 stars but the line setup is a little chaotic. 2 separate lines, one for sandwiches/salads and one for everything else. Delicious, nutritious, hip and fun. Need I say more? I don't, but I will. I live out of state so I first came across them on Instagram. After months of building it up in my head I was worried that when I tried it in real life it wouldn't live up to my expectations. The amazing part is that it exceeded my expectations.
