This is a regular spot for me and my husband. We are mostly vegetarian and try to eat very clean, and we found that this is a place we can eat at regularly without ever feeling guilty about it. EVERYTHING I've tried has been good. Their acai could be a little stronger in flavor, not as comparable to the acai in Southern CA like Sambazon, but its still good for UT. The food is good, fresh and different but the prices seem to be competing with Whole Foods-- which is known in my household as Whole Pay Check! Food alone receives a 5-star rating in my book but I am giving it a high 3 incorporating all of the other factors. Eating at Aubergine's is one of the best things you can do to show love for yourself or those you invite to partake with you! The food is some of the best tasting in Utah County, and is one of the healthiest places I've eaten in in all of Utah! I love the customer service, the many delicious food and dessert choices (which, btw, are only sweetened with dates or agave!), and the fact that I'm NOURISHING my body rather than just filling it up with calories! The place has cute seating, and clean bathrooms, the eating area is clean and has decent seating, and the menu has lots of options. I love that you can customize anything you'd like to order so it suits your likes/dislikes or food sensitivities/allergies. They cater to vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, fruititarians, paleo dieters, keto, atkins, whole food plant based, gluten free, and a lot more! I think their food is fantastic. In fact, it is exceptional. It is healthy, delicious and the flavors are wonderful. But the service is HORRENDOUS. It is painfully slow, it often takes 20-30 min just to stand in line and order your food. I was the only person in line, and it took 23 min!!!!! The staff has absolutely no urgency. They do not listen, I have to repeat my self and check my bag when I get it to go because they always leave something out. They aren't rude they are indifferent, which I think is worse. They don't care about the customer. Which is odd, because they obviously care about the food. I understand why their prices are higher, the food quality is excellent. But when you are charging that much, your service needs to match the quality of the food. I am sad to say that I will not return to Aubergine and Company. I will drive the extra 10 min to Springville and eat at Gingers, the food is just as good if not better and the service and Gingers is excellent. We catered from these guys for a huge event and everything was AWESOME. Everyone ate tons of the food because it was so delicious and we had some left over! Everything was perfect! So happy I found this restaurant and will definitely be doing big orders from them more often! Customer service was great too, which is hard to find these days! I couldn't be happier. I was not impressed. This was my first time going to this joint. We stood there for 10 minutes trying to figure out how to order a smoothie. Was not friendly at all when we finally got the smoothie it had big chunks of Ice that was not blended. I was not impressed and won't be going back. read more

Layout was a mess, it was busy and lunchtime and people were just standing and staring trying to assemble the menu in our minds. Everything is build your own - which is great - but it's all hipster organic stuff so you really don't know what you're ordering or what anything is. I eventually settled on a Pita, it was horribly impossible to eat. The bread just breaks up and all the vegetables you put in there just dump out the bottom and you end up eating it with a fork. Flavor wise... it was bland. Friend got the Acai bowl, that looked pretty good and actually something you could eat without your fingers, I would consider going back for that. We are vegan food snobs and rarely have a really good meal at a restaurant. That said Aubergine is amazing! They even bake their wonderful Falafel's! They have delicious vegan soups and beautiful salads made just the way you want them. We particularly like the pockets that get stuffed with your choice of many yummy options. This place used to be one of my all time favorites and I would go there at least once a week. After being out of the country for awhile, I came back and was so sad to see that the quality has changed along with their menu. My favorite item, the Mediterranean salad, was taken off the menu. They also no longer offer the large size of salads. The one size now is barely a meal (at least the way mine was made) and was super small compared to what it used to be. We saw this restaurant last week on one of our grocery trips to Sprouts and decided to try it today. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and well decorated. My only complaint is the prices. Here you can get salads, sandwiches, soups and smoothies. The sandwich options are chicken, salmon or vegetarian and the price ranges from 8.99-10.99 depending on which one you get. The smallest smoothie, 16 oz and is about 5.99. We decided to try the salmon sandwich and also got smoothies. We ended up paying almost $40 for two sandwiches and smoothies, which I considered a lot since the portions were small and in all honesty the food was just average. When they're putting your sandwich together, if you want cheese the only option is feta and there's an extra $1 charge. Why would you charge a $1 for a little bit of feta cheese? It was just regular cheese and no where on their menu they mention the cheese is extra nor that it is hormone free nor organic which would maybe just maybe justify them charging $1 for a teaspoon of cheese. After we got our sandwiches it took them 15 minutes to get is our smoothies, by the time we were done eating we still didn't have our smoothies. I love their concept and the service was great however I don't think I will go back unless they lower their prices and speed up their service. I know they haven't been opened for too long but taking 15 minutes to make a smoothie is way too long specially when there's no other people ordering one. I hate to give such a low review specially because I was very excited to find a healthier restaurant in Provo-Orem area, but for the price I was expecting more. I recently stopped in to see what they had for breakfast. I ordered the multi grain oatmeal topped with berries and nuts. It was quite tasty. However, the serving was very small. Amazing healthy food! This is a gem of a restaurant. I wish there were more places like this. Super fresh food, great unique flavors, decent prices, and quick service. We ordered a a chicken sandwich, which is unlike any chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. It was filled to the brim with yummy hummus, veggies, and seasoned chicken. You had to eat most of it with a fork, but that's okay since they are that generous with the fillings. We also ordered the wild salmon salad, which was incredible. I love how they hand chop your salad in front of you. You get a little bit of everything in every bite. The acai bowl was yummy and beautifully presented. This lunch for two cost us $37, which is more than we usually pay at most lunch places, but we were stuffed but felt so refreshed. read more

We dropped in on the way through town while we got a tire repaired and were thrilled to see all of the gluten-free, dairy-free options. I really love this place! I'm someone who eats a whole-food plant-based diet 90% of the time, and this is the best place for me to eat out. It has great flavors, large portions, diverse menu, and it's really healthy!!! Healthy food is often underrated, but really this place is so fresh and flavorful and I leave feeling really full and yet completely energized. It was a lot of lettuce and the flavor was very bland because of only a few olives and tomatoes and the salad dressing had little to no zing that you'd expect from a Greek salad. I tried my mom's wild salmon salad and it was very fishy. At first I thought it was flavored with anchovies, but I don't think the salmon was that fresh. Very pricey for a lot of lettuce. The food is amazing and high quality. A bit overpriced in my opinion but that's to be expected due to the nature of the food. However, I only give Aubergine 2 stars because of their service. Every time I go, the employees seem less than thrilled to be there and usually forget something. I rarely order food to go anymore because I always find that something is missing. For instance, today I went on my way to work and ordered a salad w/dressing on the side, a side of sweet potato bites and a kombucha and paid $18. When I got to work and went to eat my salad, I found that they did not put dressing in the bag... so I paid almost $10 for a bowl of lettuce with a few nuts and apples. Sweet. I wish I could say this is the first time something like this has happened. I've refrained from reviewing Aubergine because I hate giving negative reviews but this may be the last time I go to the Orem location. read more

I have been looking for a great healthy place for lunch. The food was fresh however was a little lacking in taste with the dressing for the salad. I had a mirian salad with signature dressing and it was okay. My husband had a salmon salad that was also lacking in flavor. The pita bread was good. From time to time, nothing beats some good veggies and some falafel. This place is perfect for satiating those cravings. There's a lot of garlic in the falafel-a bit too much for me-but when combined with some cucumbers, tomatoes, kalamata olives, and some feta cheese it balances out. The prices are reasonable, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is good. I'll have to go back for a salad and a smoothie. The one thing they could use in their Mediterranean section is some lamb. That would go great in one of their sandwiches. read more
