I had no idea the Taverna Cheese was SO AMAZING! And dipping it in honey? Who knew!? Wow! The meat is so tender and the RICE IS SO GOOD! I had no idea I would prefer rice over fries, but here we are! Meraki is definitely my new favorite Greek restaurant in Utah! We ate here as part of the yelp elite squad and it did not disappoint. I got the beef skewer platter that came with 2 beef skewers and then a generous portion of a Greek salad which was so flavorful. We also got an appetizer and we chose the red pepper hummus plate with pita to dip and finally one of my favorite desserts of all time, the Greek classic Baklava. The appetizer has a great mild spice to it, the entree was great as the meat was seasoned perfectly and very tender with a wonderful Greek salad which is a favorite of mine and finally topped it off with the classic Greek dessert of Baklava. I've been wanting to try this place because I love Greek food and it was some of the best I've had! I got the gyro platter and for an appetizer I tried the soup. The gyro platter was huge! It came with a Greek salad and a choice of side which I tried the Greek fries! Everything was amazing. It was so filling. The soup was yummy. My 3 year old loved the soup and the fries. I came with my dad and he got the Steak Kalamakia platter. The steak was cooked perfectly, it was tender, juicy and so flavorful. It was better than the gyro platter I thought. It was also huge and filling. He ordered regular French fries with it. Next time we come, we will order that to share I think. He also ordered the Spicy Feta and pita for an appetizer. It was fantastic. It wasn't too spicy, the perfect amount and so flavorful. We also had to try a slice of Baklava, one of my favorite desserts. Most Greek restaurants I've been too, the Baklava slices are always cut super small. They actually have bigger slices here and it's perfect to share. Their Baklava is one of the best I've had, you can taste all of the cinnamon and it was so good! We left feeling full and satisfied. Everything was delicious. Wonderful Greek place. I had the Tzatziki Bowl appetizer, and the Gyro Plate. Everything was fresh tasty and absolute perfection. Our server was friendly and the service was fast. This is a great new place that Orem needed. This place has a nice vibe. I arrived right at 11 when it opened and it was packed by the time I left - so go early. This place was delicious! The portions are huge, the prices are pretty reasonable, and there is so much to choose from. I got their traditional gyro platter- amazing! The salad with the dressing they put on it is so refreshing. And don't skip out on their feta fries- so good! We also tried their steak kalamakia. It was OK, a little dry and gamy, and on the pricier side. What you absolutely need to get is their baklava and honey frozen yogurt! The best dessert in UT! You order at the front, they give you a number, and you seat yourself. Service is fast and efficient. The interior design is nice and an amazing experience. 10/10 -- Vegas, watch out. Meraki Orem absolutely nailed it. Coming from the food and beverage industry for 30+ years, I know how incredibly difficult it is to build a great concept and even harder to grow it while maintaining the food, service, hospitality, cleanliness, and culture that made it special in the first place. Our family were HUGE fans of Meraki in Las Vegas. And when I say huge fans, I mean we were there minimally once a week, gathered around the table enjoying Meraki together. After relocating to Salt Lake City, we heard Meraki had opened in Orem and couldn't wait to make the trip down. We finally did today after visiting Dreamwalk in the mall, and WOW. Vegas, watch out. Orem is bringing it. 10/10 across the board. The tzatziki, hummus, steak, rice--everything was fantastic. The restaurant itself was spotless. The fixtures and build-out look incredible. The staff, service, and management were top-notch from beginning to end. But what impressed me most was the hospitality. We happened to arrive just before a major rush. Within minutes, we watched probably 20 people come through the doors and the restaurant go from a quiet Sunday to packed. I watched the manager immediately recognize the surge and seamlessly move throughout the restaurant, supporting the staff and taking care of guests as if everyone were sitting in the dining room of their own home. No panic. No drop in service. Just genuine hospitality. That is Meraki. To the owners, management, and entire Orem team: Well done. I tip my hat to you. Taking a successful concept and recreating that same culture and experience in another market is incredibly difficult and you absolutely nailed it. We will definitely be back. And one small request: Please bring a Meraki closer to Daybreak! We're here, we'll promote you, and I promise you'll have some very regular customers waiting. read more

My go to for a yummy and healthy lunch is the Meraki bowl with salmon. Salmon is consistently tender and super fresh. Salad is dark and leafy and somehow never needs dressing. My fave is to have it with basmati when I'm extra hungry. read more

Stopped in kind of by accident when we were looking for another restaurant nearby and saw the crowds at Meraki, which swayed us to try it out. It was delicious! Large portions, friendly staff, and reasonable times for food to be brought to your table. It's a fast-casual type restaurant with counter ordering and then delivery to your table. I eat a plant based/veg diet and hubby eats anything, so I ordered the falafel wrap with a side of quinoa. Hubby got the gyro platter which was massive, although not as big as the tasty-looking family platter that probably could feed 8 hungry adults at the table next to us. Really enjoy this new restaurant by the Mall. I have gotten a chance to go there twice now. The first time I had the chicken sandwich with greek salad, and spanakopita. The food came out very quick and was hot and fresh. Mistakenly when I went there the first time my eyes were larger than my stomach as the food is very filling. The spanikopta was great and has a nice crunch to it which I really enjoyed. My only real complaints about the first time I went I felt the seats were a bit to pushed in. The second time I went idk if things changed or moved around but it felt like tables were back a little bit so my first complaints were right out the door. I additionally had the lamb gyro and rice pudding. The gyro was delicious it came right out and was very juicy. The wrap itself was also was very sturdy and not floppy. Which is good when eating a gyro as you dont want everything to fall out. I have had gyros before in Utah but I prefer them here. The rice pudding was great, a light sweet desert after a good meal. The restaurant Greek feel is very nice, the music is traditional Greece and they even had some soccer on the TV playing which I really enjoyed. Overall a very pleasant experience with good hosts and servers. I will be going back in the future. read more

ordered this place on door dash last week and it was 12/10 incredible!!! the food is so delicious. So i went back tonight to order again and the food again is great but the service was a bummer. I ordered it to go, they forgot my pita and tzatziki - which i didn't realize until I got home, my large salad barely has any lettuce in it compared to last time and my container of hummus isnt full.
