Amazing!! The food is always incredible. Both the Mango and Strawberry Lassi's were great. My favorite is the Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken) but Tikka Masala was also popular at our table. My family loves the Vegetable Samosas with the Mint Chutney as well. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the owner was a pleasure as he walls around and chatted with everyone. He wanted to make sure we were eating our Naan first while it was hot, and then focus on the rice afterwards. (Advice that changed my life, I was always a rice first sort of guy). The tables didn't feel too tight, it definitely gets loud with the dinner rush but nothing more than you would expect. Such an awesome place with great flavor! I loved reviewing restaurants in Logan, but there's only so much up there... now that we've moved to Utah County I'm excited to get back into the food scene! All that to say excuse my lack of pictures, I'm a little rusty haha. But trust me when I say this was awesome food!! read more

I have been a regular for a very long time. My husband I went twice in the last few months and it just doesn't even hold a candle to the standards (food wise) previously. The staff is just as friendly but the food tastes significantly different. I mean no where near the same flavor profiles. It's just devastating to be honest. I'm not sure what happened there as far as passing on recipes to new chefs or why more individuals weren't trained so it's not a complete travesty when something happens to the main chef. The chicken Pakora is probably the only dish that tastes the same. We've been on the hunt for new Indian places but I don't have high hopes. read more

Went to Bombay house for the first time with my Book Club of 13 people, and it was honestly a really easy experience. You cannot put in a reservation as it is first come first serve, but we did warn them in advance that we were coming. Our servers were super professional and took good care of us. They made the process of ordering a breeze. A couple things didn't make it on the first round of food coming to the table so after some confusion we got the rest of our order. The food was delicious! I had a lamb Rogan Josh and it's probably my favorite Indian dish to date. The ambience of the restaurant was so fun. I especially love the quirky murals on the wall. read more

The service and food was amazing!! Alex did great and went above and beyond. My 8 year old got it in his head that he wanted to try Chai and when he got it, didn't like it. They didn't even charge us for it. Very sweet read more

Came in at about 7:30 pm, and finally got seated at 8:10. It was a very busy day, so I expected the service to be slow, which It was at times, but still very attentive to every need. The tables and floors were clean, and the seats were comfortable and intimate. I ordered the medium Bollywood chicken that I heard a random patron rave about in the waiting area while my husband got the mild Chicken Tikka Masala. Both dishes were delicious, full of flavor and the meat was incredibly tender. We also got a serving of the garlic naan, which was good, but I've had better. Total came out to be a very respectable amount after everything we ordered, but not offering free refills feels like a stingy decision. Overall, I absolutely recommend the Bollywood chicken (but feel free to skip on the garlic naan and get a different side). I'm totally coming back and getting a mango lassi! read more

It was our first dinner of our trip to Utah so we wanted to find a spot that the locals liked. The reviews for Bombay House looked good so we decided to check it out. There is a parking lot in the back which was helpful. It was 8 PM on a Thursday night and we didn't have to wait for a table. There was a good amount of people dining. The interior was heavily decorated with Indian visuals. Vegetable Samosa (5/5): The samosas were filled with spiced potatoes and green peas. Even though it is fried, it was still light and not too oily. It was served with mint and tamarind chutneys. I preferred the mint chutney. The flavor was good even without the sauces. Chicken tikka masala (4/5): This was tandoori chicken breast cooked in a masala base of onions, bell pepper, tomatoes and cream. This was good! The tomato flavor was strong and it was creamy. The entree came with rice so it paired well. Lamb saag (3.5/5): This was lamb cooked in a cream based sauce with spinach and onions. This was my first time trying it and it was okay. Good but nothing amazing. It was so creamy I feel like the lamb was lost in it. Garlic naan (5/5): Can't go wrong with a garlic naan. Garlic flavor was good and paired well with the chicken and lamb we ordered. Mango lassi (5/5): We all ordered one and it was actually my first time trying it. I love mango anything so this was amazing. We basically all almost finished our drinks before the good came out!! I can see why the locals like Bombay House! It felt so homey inside. The menu is large so there really is something for everyone. However, surprisingly expensive for the portion size? The service was good as the staff was attentive. read more

Best Indian food in the area! Super friendly staff and environment. Order extra to take home!

Ordered take out! Got some butter chicken, garlic naan, and a mango lassi. Overall was good but nothing that knocked my socks off. If you want to get Indian food it's definitely well worth it. But it's nothing out of this world. read more

I don't have words for how delicious this was! The spinach soup was incredible, and everything that followed was a continuous stream of delight. I tried the rose lassi which was beautiful and made me feel like a fairy-floral but not soapy- and the tandoori chicken could stop traffic. The restaurant is gorgeous and clean, and everyone was very kind. If I didn't live out of state I would be back tomorrow. read more

Indian food is one of our favorites. After a long day traveling we were looking to pick up dinner that we could take with us on our way to our home. While sometimes we like to try some different dishes, we elected to order a few of our favorites this time. We ordered Chicken Makhani and Tikka Masala, some Naan and a Tandoori Chicken. We ordered online and in no time at all, our order was ready. Our Tikka Masala and Makhani were both good. The only thing that we didn't like is we really couldn't tell the difference between the two. The other Chicken Tikka Masala dishes that we have tried had sliced onions and peppers in the sauce. If there were any onions and peppers in one of those sauces, we couldn't really taste or see them. Otherwise both dishes were tasty. The big winners were the Tandoori chicken and their Naan. Their naan was really good. Soft and held up well when dipped in our sauces. The Tandoori chicken was unlike any other Tandoori chicken we have ever had. Usually the Tandoori chicken we previously had all came on the bone. This Tandoori chicken was boneless and there was a lot of chicken. Easily enough for two people. The Tandoori chicken was smoky, juicy and very flavorful. Easily the best Tandoori chicken we have ever had! Excellent Tandoori Chicken and overall very good Indian food. read more

Great food. Just the right amount of spices. Good service and ambiance. Not too loud.

Back again at Bombay House last night, and honestly, it never misses. My family has been coming here for nearly 20 years--long enough that the staff recognizes my parents when they walk in. That kind of familiarity says a lot. As always, we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala (we're nothing if not loyal), and it was absolutely on point. The chicken was perfectly tender, and the masala sauce was straight-up magical. When I asked my oldest what he thought, he gave it two thumbs way, way up--and this kid is well on his way to being a full-blown Indian food snob, so that's saying something. We also grabbed an order of samosas, which were flaky, savory perfection. And the tamarind and mint chutney just make everything sing. Still the best Indian food I've had outside of a random little spot I once stumbled into in Berlin. Bombay House is an Utah classic--and rightfully so. read more

I LOVE Bombay House so much! I used to live closer and haven't been for a while. I need to make my way to Provo more and would just for Bombay House!! We walked in on a busy Saturday night at 6:15 as a party of two. They told us 30 minutes and they were pretty dang close to exact in having our table ready. (No reservations--walk ins only) The entire staff is SO FRIENDLY and nice! Makes for even a better experience. Our server was Tavo, and he was incredible. I ordered the coconut tofu and garlic naan bread. I ate the entire thing--SO GOOD!!! When I ordered it Tavo made a comment (without me asking) that that dish was a good one. I wish I would've ordered an additional dish to take home with me, it was that good!! I need to make more visits to Provo for Bombay House!!! 100% worth 40 minute drive each way for me. Thank you for an amazing dinner and time with your team!! read more

Very good food and service. Nice selection of drinks. Very pleasant and capable staff. Between the four of us we had a wide variety from the menu and it was all delicious. Servings look smaller than you would expect, but there were plenty of leftovers to take home. A variety of chutneys would have made it better, but we were all content with the meal. read more

Arrived about an hour before closing with my wife, smelled delicious. Service was a little slow but business was understandably busy on a Saturday night. Chose it based on all the strong positive reviews but was underwhelmed and for two people no drinks or desserts $45 which we could have spent elsewhere and been more satisfied. Street parking was easy to find. Very crowded but got seated in about 10-15 minutes. Garlic naan was very doughy and bland. Aloo gobo was small and mostly cauliflower and asked for medium spicy but it was bland and mild They don't give you additional spices to heat it up yourself They charged you for every serving of chutney which cuts down on waste but feels like you are being nickel and dimed . Interior is nice and decor is very Indian and easy to have a conversation even with every table full. . Food not worth the hype but possibly even in a University area there is no competition read more

Love this place! A go to every time we're in town. Chicken tikka masala all day long.

We stopped here to grab quick dinner before heading to the airport. We walked in and were promptly seated. We told them that we were in a rush while placing our order and they did adhere to it. Our server was attentive and the ambiance was nice. We started with the chicken tandoori. Followed by chicken saag with garlic naan, lamb biryani and cucumber raita. It also came with a side of rice. Every item was cooked to perfection and tasted great! The portion size was fairly good and couldn't finish it all so got it to go. Would highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the vicinity. read more

I had the chicken tikka masala and the onion naan. Both were so good. The seasoning on the naan was perfect. I'm not sure why it's $1 more than the garlic because it's basically just naan but I'd probably order it again anyways. I had the entree at full heat and it was perfect. Loved how smooth, balanced, and flavorful it all was. A bit towards the pricy side and sort of an anxious vibe with small booths. Very fast service and attentive/helpful staff, but lots of people rushing around constantly. read more

Bombay House is the best of the best. The service is great and the food is exceptional. The vegetable samosas were crispy and had a lot of veggies in them. OK, walking into Utah, especially in Provo not expecting that this was gonna be a top India cuisine restaurant, but it was well run. We had attentive service and walking in a place that didn't expect a group of 14 on a Thursday night was fairly fortunate they were able to handle us. It took a little while for them to get set up, but everything was ready and I must say that each of the dishes were very good. The spice is definitely tone down. They do ask your input of what spice level you want, but I'd say it's about 1/3 of being an actual India. I think the Utah factor is in full swing. The menu options are why I didn't get a photo of it but there's many examples on this page enjoy. read more

Been our favorite Indian restaurant for 25 years! Love the environment, the service, appetizers, entrees, drinks, desserts, all of it! Just wish we could find a way to eat more in one sitting! I will say, we do REALLY miss the old days when they didn't purée everything to death. For instance, the chicken coconut kurma used to have whole raisins, nuts, loads of coconut.... The flavor is still on point, but now it's just a sauce. Or the kheer--once loaded with nuts, cardamom pods, raisins, now just a rice pudding. Still love the flavors, but very much miss all those distinct elements. read more

This is my first *real* experience with Indian cuisine - and it was absolutely phenomenal. We were seated immediately and the ambiance was a great mix of welcoming, but also traditional. I tried both the butter chicken and the Tikka Masala - would absolutely get both of them again. The rice was pretty much bottomless and I think they just continually refill the container if you need it. The naan - both regular and garlic (I preferred the latter) were excellent compliments to the entrees. All staff members were very welcoming. The manager (owner?) walked around and checked in on guests. He offered tips on how to eat the food - and from a novice, I really appreciated it! My only slight issue was that the bill was not itemized. Not a huge deal, but I always appreciate transparency in that regard. I walked out with a bill under $60 (including tip) for two people - and for the overall experience, it was well worth it. Bombay House has opened my eyes to a whole new cuisine! I was so excited when my wife suggested Bombay House for our dinner date tonight. I had takeout from here during the pandemic, so I can safely say I did not have the full experience back then. For starters, I ordered the mango lemonade and the vegetable samosas. The mango lemonade tasted fresh and not too sweet. Neither of us had ever tried samosas and were positively surprised by how good they were. For a fried appetizer, it didn't feel greasy, the dough was flaky, crunchy, and the feeling was delicious. The mint chutney was delicious and our favorite. The tamarind chutney was also delicious. For our main course, we ordered chicken tandoori and chicken tikka masala. They were both so delicious. The chicken tasted amazing in both dishes. The sauce on the Tikka Masala was one of the best parts of this meal. It had just the right amount of spiciness. The Tandoori chicken had that tandoori oven char flavor you want from a Tandoori dish. I almost forgot, but we also ordered their delicious garlic naan. Two orders were just the right amount for the two of us. Bombay's menu is so exciting and I can't wait to come back here to try so many of their dishes. One piece of feedback: Music was a bit too loud, making it difficult to talk to my wife during dinner. read more

We walked in without a reservation during dinner time on Tuesday and was seated within 5 minutes. We were quite hungry and other restaurants were too busy at this time so we were super pleased. The food was so good! We ordered a lot since we were hungry. We got the aloo gobi, Bollywood chicken, and garlic naan. The server recommended mango lassi and the Bombay lime so we ordered those two drinks as well. The drinks were delicious. I find that sometimes mango lassi is too thick to drink through a straw but this one didn't have that problem. It was sweet, flavorful, and easy to drink. The Bombay lime was fizzy, sweet and tangy. Both very good reccs. The Bollywood chicken was so creamy and pleasant. Id order this again in a heartbeat. It was lighter than the typical curries I usually get at Indian restaurants but still creamy and full of flavor. The aloo gobi had perfectly cooked potatoes and cauliflower. Neither was too crunchy nor too soft. We also had a pleasant experience w the server. Would definitely visit again :) read more

Also, new menu items like the chicken curry with mango (can't remember the name) surpassed our all-time favorites. Favorites: Pershwari naan (incredible!!)
