Came here with 4 friends and a baby and we were all very shocked as to how much space they had. This is a restaurant that is attached to a best western (separate entrance) but it seemed very large. The service itself was very attentive and friendly. My girlfriend has celiac disease and their menu has helpful labels as to what she could eat as well as the staff was able to answer any questions we had. The food was very flavorful and full of spices with very fair portions at a reasonable price. I'd recommend this place for any size party and a more laid back but quiet environment. read more

We waited an hour for butter chicken and chicken vindaloo and it wasn't even hot when it came out and it was so bland that we just asked for the check and left. Not to mention the restaurant kind of has an old, dirty vibe to it. My fork tines were bent, the pepper shaker was sticky, the dusty battery powered candle didn't work...the waitress was nice enough but not a good waitress at all. We visited the night of BYU graduation so they had a limited menu but we enjoyed the dishes we ordered. The menu items were priced reasonably and portion sizes were large. The rice could have been a little better but it was likely related to the limited menu. Loved the mango ice cream they brought out after dinner! The service was good and I appreciated that they didn't try to add in an automatic large party service charge. The interior seating space was larger than I expected. Such flavorful Indian food from various regions! Their vegetarian (think Godi Manchurian, Hyderabadi eggplants) and meat dishes (tasty spicy lamb korma, laal maas) are just all wonderfully prepared and when you ask for hot, they provide hot, not mildly spicy as most places in Utah. I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant! The waitstaff are some of the best I've experienced in Utah. Very polite, attentive (but not too attentive), and quick. Food came out extremely fast and was absolutely DELICIOUS. The butter chicken absolutely melts in your mouth and the Tikki Masala has a wonderful depth to it. The bread basket was massive and had a really wonderful selection of naan's, very light and crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Ambiance is great. Staff are super nice. Food is AMAZING! Everything we ordered was something we were trying for the first time and everything tasted amazing! The portion sizes are huge! We needed several take-home containers. Very generous pricing for a nice restaurant with such big portion sizes. We'll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. Coming from a well traveled and experienced Indian food eater, this place was incredible! The food was delicious and friendly service all the way around. The Chicken Saag was the lightest and freshest I have ever had. The Garlic Naan was thinner and slightly crispy than most versions of this, I loved the texture. We finished off with a sort of frozen strawberry lassi concoction that had a fantastic hint of cardamom and a kiss of sea salt. I like a glass of dry riesling with Indian food. It's a great pairing with spicy Asian food. As a traveler from out of state, I was surprised to learn of the highly restrictive liquor by the drink laws in Provo. I personally felt that the kebab lamb was a little on the tough side, but I know other people would argue that point. We felt the service was very good, but we l did not feel like she was covering over us. The ambience did not have an Indian to it. I can say confidently that from now on we would choose this restaurant over Bombay House and Indian Palace for Indian food in Provo (our experience was phenomenal!). I don't even write reviews, but this spot is making me act out of character. The food is hella good. For the appetizer, we got the mixed platter. It came with three chutney sauces. For the course, we got the coconut chicken korma and the lamb vindaloo with some garlic naan. My wife and I have been coming here for a while now, but the last experience deserves a review. Get the bread basket to sample several and have plenty for your table. The Saag Paneer is smooth, creamy and so flavorful. The hubby loves the Coconut Korma. I got the grilled salmon--really great price, really good food. My husband got the barbecue sampler, and I actually liked his better, the lamb in it was really good.
