This is the best lunch I've had since we landed in Utah a couple of weeks ago. Everything is fresh and delicious, and plenty of veg / vegan options, as well as GF, and even some turkey options for the carnivores! I had the Ginger Tacos and an Orange Carrot Ginger juice that was delicious. The plants added a nice touch to the ambiance, and there are books and an herb store in the back. Not only is the Café adorable but the Staff is kind and helpful and their music playlist is awesome! I tried their 1/2 Falafel salad & added Avocado. It was the perfect size and the falafel mini balls were not dry - hooray! (Size of small tator tots). The curry dressing was delightful. Sweet but not sugar sweet. The tiny cut tomatoes were so fresh (not tasteless). The other yummy part of this salad is flax seed crackers. They were so good I asked if I could purchase some. YES! If they have extra, they sell them! I'll go back for sure - it's a 1.5 hour roundtrip drive away but so worth it. read more

Food flavor was ok. My husband had Chicken mango salad which had no chicken in it! Not enough dressing for salad. When asked for more dressing, waitress said there would be an additional charge. I ordered a turkey wrap that had a very small piece of turkey cold cut hard to find among the cabbage slaw. I was expecting turkey breast pieces. The wrap fell apart, wrapped in half of a cold, brittle tortilla. We were given one very thin napkin per person. When asked for an extra napkin to handle the wrap mess the waitress said she'd be back but didn't. Disappointed with Ginger's. Is not what it used to be! read more

Soooo much fast food and soda shops (whats with these? Weird! Sippin, Sodalicious etc..with dinner plate sized cookies???. Utah loves its sugar!!) I've never seen anything like it! Coming from California where healthy restaurants are on every corner and grilled food is the preference...I was totally lost here...Until I found GINGER'S! Oh my gosh...saved my life! If you are ever in the area, I STRONGLY suggest eating here. I am hardly ever in this area, and it was by luck that we decided to stop here and eat before heading back home. Eat Well Feel Well is their tag line, and they abide to it. Fresh Fresh Fresh and abundant are the menu items. Although their menu is limited it has a good variety. I had a chicken sandwich with side salad with a bowl of soup. We also had an appetizer plate of veggies and pita strips. Just take a look at the pictures, your mouth won't stop watering for fresh, flavorful food. Shared space with a herb shop. Lot's of herbs, books and wellness classes. I wish they had a cafe closer to where I live, but in the meantime I'm going make a point to drive down just so I can eat here it's that good. Oh and a side note I left my purse hanging on the back of a chair, and remembered when I was on the freeway that I left it there. I hurried and got off the next exit and called them. They were able to find the chair it was hanging on and kept it safe until I could drive back down and pick it up. Everything was in tact. Met at Gingers with a friend who is pregnant and has some dietary restrictions. She was hoping they had a gluten free bread for her sandwich but unfortunately they did not so she had to pivot her order. I had a half Mango Chicken Salad and I really enjoyed the cilantro curry dressing but I feel like the portions of the rest of the ingredients were unbalanced. The organic greens were not chopped so you smeared the dressing on your face with every bite and the amount of chicken was lacking (about 3 small pieces worth). I liked the flavor profile of everything but I was just a bit disappointed in the experience of trying to eat. I kept flipping things out of the bowl and dropped mango/dressing on my pants which is not a common occurrence for me. The location is a pretty unique with fun embellished ceiling tiles and an earthy vibe. You order as soon as you walk in the door and then they bring the dishes out to you but you do self serve getting your own water. There's was definitely a lunch rush on a Saturday afternoon. Tucked away there's a little herb shop and local art on the walls and up the stairs is a little yoga studio and crystal shop. read more

My wife wanted something healthier, not fried, and an alternative to the usual soup/sandwich places. We found Ginger's nearby in downtown Springville. The restaurant was very clean and quaint, with a local guitarist playing live music. The sandwiches were very fresh and healthy. The sandwich bread seemed to be homemade, and the turkey slices along with the avocado, tomatoes, lettuce were delicious. I had the butternut squash soup, and the flavor was perfect. One of my new favorite study spots. The staff is so lovely every time I come. If you want to feel like you stepped into a relaxing cafe from the 90's just come here!! The building is beautifully preserved from when it was first built and that is always a plus for me. Every food item I've ordered is divine. (Veggie wrap, lentil soup, falafel bowl, turkey sandwich, curry soup, etc) They even do a half and half menu option where you can get two items instead of a full! They always have nice snacks from different and new companies. For Utah this place was before "healthy" was hip and reminds me of what you'd find in bigger cities. I love Ginger's Garden Cafe so much! I always try to stop by if I'm around Springville. Everything I've tried on their menu has been really tasty and fresh but my very favorite is the turkey sandwich. It has a lot of flavor and such a perfect variety of vegetables. I love how fresh their food is! I've been twice and my favorite is their grilled veggie sami on sourdough bread. The last time I went they had live music-a super cute addition. The painted wall and fake greenery adds a nice touch especially during the winter months in Utah. I usually order the sandwich/salad combo and I'm happy with their generous portions. I always leave full but not bloated or feeling gross. I would definitely recommend for those who want a filling and delicious meal! A wonderful little cafe situated inside Christopher's Herb shop in the historic downtown area of Springville. The cafe has a large selection of salads, sandwiches, and soups, and with an emphasis on vegan and vegetarian food. All items are listed on boards above the counter where you order -- food is brought out to your table by a server. I ordered the Buddha bow salad with a side of falafel. The salad has a mixture of greens, nuts, beans, and avocado and a really tasty dressing too, and was also quite filling. I appreciated the hibiscus infused water. The one thing I would want to see at Ginger's is some power outlets for those of us that like to plug in an work while having lunch -- this would elevate the experience. I had pretty high expectations coming here, but compared to similar places I've been recently it wasn't quite at the top. It was good, but there wasn't as much flavor in my salad (Apple Beet) as I would've liked. Everything was very raw and organic, and tasted obviously healthy--which is great, but I just wasn't blown away. That being said, I'm definitely glad I came and I had a good time. I'd like to try one of their wraps. If you're getting a salad, I recommend getting the half size because it's surprisingly big! The Cafe is located in an herb shop and does have a fun unique atmosphere. You eat under a garden trellis and they have cute lights and plants hanging down which I thought was fun. Everything revolves around clean eating and taking care of your body. The menu is red meat free and dairy free, and they make their own vegan mayo, dressings, and even bacon (or "fakon" as they call it). If you have dietary restrictions or want something healthy and filling that won't leave you feeling guilty, I'd say it's worth giving Ginger's Garden Cafe a try! read more

This is a MUST STOP especially if you just finished with a dip in a hot springs. I felt they would be the most forgiving if I had that lingering sulfur smell. Luckily the bathroom had natural deodorant that i was very grateful for. In the little herb shop they had a good range of items including raw honey and soap that was prayed over.
