biscuit pot pie

This was our first stop in Denver after a morning of traveling and it hit allll the right spots. $5 pumpkin spice espresso martini!! Service was impeccable - our server/bartender was always available and checking in on us to make sure we were doing well. Food: amazing. The biscuits were somehow super moist yet held up their structure and didn't get soggy despite being covered in delicious sauce. The biscuit pot pie plate was addicting and perfect for mushroom lovers. The restaurant has a nice open layout and several TV's as well which is nice to watch a game. Definitely recommend!

We were in Denver for only a day and a half for a medical appointment. Atomic cowboy was recommended by a friend who used to live there. My husband and I were beyond impressed. We can start with the atmosphere, it has very casual, patio seating or sit inside where it was pub style. Very modern and comfortable. The weather was great in October so we sat outside. Our server, I forgot her name, but she was incredible. Very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me make the hard decision between a biscuit sandwich or French toast (spoiler I got a small version of both). It was only 10 am but my husband and I both got a beer on tap and the tangerine and cream and a peach one both paired perfectly with our breakfast. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because they absolutely deserve it. The food was so delicious. I'm definitely planning on going back when I come back to Denver in January for my next appointment!

So many things to love about Atomic cowboy! Atomic cowboy has it all: breakfast, pizza, burgers and a full bar! Everything I have tried here is delicious. They have great specials. I got a $5 raspberry margarita. It's the $5 drink of the month. They also offer great happy hour deals. The ice cream sandwich is made with fried French toast biscuits and Oreo ice cream and Oreo crumbles. It is $9 but it's huge, definitely for 2 people! We stopped here tonight just for drinks and dessert and it was such a good way to end the evening!

Aka Denver Biscuit Company. Great brunch spot. Located in walkable area with small shops to check out. Lots of indoor/outdoor seating. Not a Biscuit fan because I've had too many dry ones but was recommended to try this place. Ordered The Beeler which was a Nashville Hot Chicken 4/5 - it was massive. Service was good from bar seating. Maybe I'm a biscuit girl now? Would definitely come back to try others.

We tried the pizza at Fat Sully's and oh my god it was so good!! I only ate once slice because the pie is MASSIVE. There were plenty of the toppings on it and the ranch on the side is a must order. The garlic knots were also delicious, the pesto sauce they came with was delicious. Would definitely go here again!!

Just a little fried and an Atomic Old Fashion to end the nite.

Maybe it's been a long day for this crew and maybe it because I was a new face. The Atomic Crew gravitate and socialize with the local. But it seem to be a nice place to enjoy sit with a few friends and enjoy a drink & pizza. Come early enough you can enjoy the biscuits menu.

Family Brunch in Denver while visiting our son.

Great service. We were greeted by the host and seated promptly. The coffee is self served and has a lot of options for condiments. The food was just awesome and came in I just the right time , did not notice the wait . The server was very nice and provided excellent service. Great place overall!

My boyfriend and I were about to fly out of Denver but wanted to make a quick stop here for breakfast before we left cause the last time I was in Denver, these made such an impression on me! The drive was about 10 minutes away from our Airbnb, and there's a designated parking lot just for them and the other nearby businesses. We were greeted promptly and shown to the nearest booth. Server was nice, professional, and attentive to our needs. I had gotten the K-Mack, and my boyfriend had gotten the Winona. I LOVED the infusion of the Korean palate with the daikon and sesame mayo. The crunch of the shredded cabbage also added some texture to the biscuit imo. My boyfriend finished his in record time, so I'm assuming he loved his as well. We had also gotten the hash browns, and it's literally the best thing. Tasty and crunchy; it's a must!

I'm very surprised by the lower reviews. I've had nothing but good experiences at this location. I've tried the pizza which is delicious and the biscuits for breakfast which are always a hit. My review today is more about their smashed burger. It was outstanding! The beef was flavorful and the burger was cheesy with soft pillowy buns. The service is always good and it is a very low key place which is my favorite kind of vibe. I wish they would take reservations but if you join the waitlist, it rarely takes long to be seated

Stopped here for food and a beer after landing in Denver. My friend picked it and said it was a solid spot. They had a good happy hour $6 drafts, $8 burger and a few other things. We each got burgers and I got a beer. He got an NA cocktail. Solid choice of beers. Friendly staff. The place was decorated for Christmas. It was a nice atmosphere. I'd definitely go back.

I love their house salad and it's back on the menu. Biscuits are too big, not my favorite. Pizza slices are enormous and great.

I remember when Bookbar occupied this space many moons ago. I used to like that place a lot. Well, I'm also beginning to like the new life My Boy Tony has brought here. It caters to a younger crowd, whether you're bar hopping on Tennyson with a group or looking for a spot to take a hot date. For better and worse, it's a neighborhood bar at its core. The most shocking thing is how they transformed the space from the previous tenants. It has a beautiful open layout with nice furniture and design. The bartenders are generally friendly and prices are in line with similar cocktail bars in Denver. The few times I've been here I've been in a cocktail mood. Negronis and Old Fashioneds are made well and are slow sippers I enjoy. They do have a nice selection of wines that I'll have to try when it tickles my fancy. The only hiccups here for me are some really long wait times for drinks. They usually have two bartenders and sometimes it gets really backed up. No one is running the floor when I've been there bussing and wiping down tables. Though I understand with a location here it can go from being empty to completely slammed in a matter of minutes! If you're looking for a cool, comfortable bar without the pretentiousness or judgment, check out My Boy Tony.

While we ended up getting different drinks, I have no doubt the espresso martini is yummy. My husband went for the Old Fashioned and I opted for As the Crow Flies - both were very tasty. Not cheap though - about $14 a pop. They had a wide beer selection and a few NA options, which I'm looking forward to trying as they sounded good. The bartender was friendly and skilled. We ended up sitting inside because it was a bit too hot for us, but others were on the patio and it did have ample seating and shade; will likely be lovely in a few weeks. The decor inside was clean with comfortable seating and a variety of bar seats and low tables. They also had virtual golf - an interesting mix. My one complaint is the amount of televisions. It had the amount I'd expect at a sports bar but way above sports bar prices. They could get away with removing 1-2 and still catering to the same crowd while appealing to those (like me) who don't want to have to sit in a corner and strategically place the chairs just to not have to look at a screen.

That's when I came across Dearly Departed and I'm so glad I did. We arrived right when they opened at 5pm and were able to walk in and be seated immediately. The speakeasy is tucked into the underground portion of the restaurant, which adds to the charm. The space is beautifully decorated, moody, intimate, and effortlessly upscale. It truly sets the tone the moment you walk down. We ordered two spritzes and a charcuterie board, and both exceeded expectations. The drinks were refreshing, perfectly balanced, and felt elevated without being overcomplicated. But the real star was the charcuterie board. For $20, it was an incredible value, stacked with a variety of meats, cheeses, fresh veggies, nuts, and peppers. The freshly grilled bread was a standout touch, and the portions were more than generous. Every bite felt thoughtfully curated, and there was something new and delicious in every corner of the board. Between the ambiance, the quality of the drinks, and the impressive food, Dearly Departed delivered an experience that felt both cozy and refined. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out for the atmosphere alone. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.

I decided to take a nostalgic turn and asked for something inspired by an Orange Julius. Super refreshing with just the right buzz. They've got a few small bites if the munchies kick in, and the selection of spirits, garnishes, and creativity behind the bar is seriously impressive.
