Very disappointed in this particular location of Atomic Cowboy. We tried making it our weekly stop after biking but after 3 failed attempts with AWFUL service, no more. We sat outside and our female server was absent the entire time. I asked for water three separate times, no water. It's summer, sitting outside in 90 degree weather and just finished epic ride..... Finally, the 4th (and 20 min later) time went to bar to get waters. Gulped them down and asked for more. Had to get up to get more. Literally, AS we were paying the tab the server brought a large container of water for the table. Was this a passive aggressive move? No sure because we won't be back. The ambience is hip with a giant neon cowboy on the wall, and up to Denver's standards of needing to have a hip ambience. There is private parking, street parking AND stroller parking outside..whattttt?! We came in on a Saturday night and got drinks and pizza (of course!) with a group of 8. We were able to get seated right away at two high tops (the patio was full). I love that they have the option to share family style or customize your own giant slice of pizza starting at like $3.25. We went for customizing our own slices, cuz let's face it- no one likes the same stuff. The pizza came out quick, and was THE perfect amount of cheese, toppings, and thinness which I love. After we raved about our pizza, several more of our table mates ended up getting some too. I also had the kombucha on tap which was YUM. What do I mean by that? The place serves huge pizzas (or single slices) on paper plates. If you know that and are comfortable with that, you'll get along just fine here. We will start with the pizza: a single slice is enormous. You can add toppings to your liking and it will be fired up in almost no time. The pizza is good -- it's thin and foldable in a way that is delicious and fun to eat. There is a wide selection of toppings. In addition to pizza, we like to get the house salad. It comes out family style if more than one person orders it. There are tons of fixings in the salad and the chipotle ranch is oh so good. It's a great sized serving of salad and quite tasty (which probably means not that healthy, if you're conscious of that). We like to come and sit at the bar. There is normally a great beer selection and service is great. Why the four stars? Consistency. We rarely have left disappointed; at the same time, the pizza sometimes is awesome, while other times it is just pretty good. I suspect that may have to do with whether or not your slice comes from a fresh pie. Regardless, we are fans and will definitely be back! read more

The service and food were both great! I brought my pup and he got to sit outside the gate right by the entrance and loved greeting customers. This place is a Denver Biscuit Company during the morning and Atomic Cowboy in the afternoon/evening. I'm not a huge DBC fan, but I've always enjoyed the vibe of Atomic Cowboy. My partner and I are frequent visitors of all atomic locations. Love the beer selection and typically love the pizza. We just grabbed a couple of slices to go along with two sides of ranch. Upon eating them, we discovered two pieces of foil and a piece of what looks to be plastic within both of the ranch dressing sides. In addition to that, my partner found an another piece of foil when she bit down on it after eating a bite. We called and informed the location, but as frequent customers, we are quite disappointed with the lack of concern when we called the restaurant. At the EXACT same time 9:14 I also recive this text "Your table is ready! Please see the host stand in the next 5 minutes, otherwise, we may skip you. If you are going to be late, please text us back!" We walk into the restaurant at 9:15 to which the hostess had told us she bumped us off the list. They told us to expect a 25 minute wait on the pizza and it came to the table in under 20 minutes, with kids that was amazing! I could only eat about half. To be honest, I was most impressed by the family style salad! $7.50 for 2 people.
