called these guys, i cant remember the gentleman's name i spoke with but he was extremely helpful over the phone. I have an HP- all in one and wanted to know if it was worth fixing or just replacing altogether. He diagnosed the issue over the phone, advised me it was not worth the price of fixing (although he couldve easily made money from it) and even advised me on which brands are most reliable and which to stay away from. So needless to say, I'm now on the market for a new Printer all-in-one ... thanks to this person's honesty, saving me money, time and headaches. *hint - wont be buying HP again ... read more

I seldom write bad reviews about people. But my experience with this business requires me to speak up. It took them 41 days to repair my printer. They initially told me abut one week. 10 days later no response so I called them and was told that the part has not been ordered yet. After another two weeks, I called again was told that the part has arrived but not installed yet. After another 14 days, I called and was told the part was installed but not tested yet. After another two weeks, I called and went to pick up. But the front desk lady didn't let me take the printer because she could't find the warranty paper. But I handed the paperwork to the same lady 41 days ago! So I used her computer to download the paperwork but her printer was broken and couldn't print it out! I have been in the US for 18 years and have never seen people do business this way. read more

I recently took my Brother multi-function machine in for repair at this business based on it being an authorized service center. While it took awhile to get someone's attention, the staff was courteous and knowlegeable. Before the repair work started, I received a call about the cost of the repair. Once the part was received, the repair work took less than a week. Once I got home and re-installed the device, it was working very well. After another two weeks, I called and they told me they are trying to test but the cartridge dried out. I finally got frustrated and told them no test needed and I would go to pick it up. When I got there 2 days later, the front desk lady couldn't find the warranty paper and didn't let me take the printer. Then I used her computer to downloaded the purchase proof and her own printer was broken and couldn't print it out! So, my feeling is; these people don't look at your printer unless you keep calling them. read more

This place has lousy customer service. I brought my Brothers home printer to this place to be repaired. (It was either here or schlepp to Timbuktu). Anyway, the lady clerk told me a repairman would call me in 2-3 days to let me know why it's acting up. A week later when I didn't hear from them, I called ATC. The clerk told me the repairman "forgot" to call me. In short, the printer head needed to be replaced. She asked me if I wanted to have it repaired and she had the nerve to get a little attitude when I told her No. Personally I don't believe anyone looked at it. My husband looked at it later and repaired it himself with no additional parts. Going to ATC was just a waste of $30. read more

I have always used ATC for our old Cannon copier and found them to be honest , dependable and reasonably priced. Until this time. The old copier bit the dust, a week later they called to tell me it couldn't be fixed and they could sell me something similar for $900.00. While I looked for the part I called another vendor and found another copier that would suit my needs for 1/3 the price. My problem comes from the $7.50 trip charge on top of the $95.00 service call. I'm in the service industry and we charge a fuel charge in town of $1.95 and we drive big trucks. $7.50 seems ridiculous to me as we are 2.3 miles or 10 minutes away. I was so surprised when I called to pay the bill I asked if the company had been sold in the last year. Sadly it hasn't been. read more

ATC has helped my small business so many times in the past three years. I can't tell you how helpful they are and I love how so many of their team members are have been there for years. Today, I even called in for an emergency machine issue that needs to be resolved quickly and they are immediately making it a priority to help me get up and running again! I took my HP printer in, and although they are not authorized for warrantee repair (like everyone else in town) they were still able to fix it in 2 days, contacted me twice (once before and once after the weekend) and it now works beautifully. read more

After waiting 2 weeks for a part to arrive (I am still not sure if it was their shortcoming or Okidata's) I bring my company's printer in for the install; which was still under manufacturer's warranty. I arrive to pick it up and am told that they need to charge my company $20 for a new ribbon; apparently it was running very light. I would have been totally fine with this had they called and informed ahead of time of this, but they did not. So, to make things simple I just ask for my old ribbon back (no harm, no foul) I was extremely nice about it I just wanted to get my old ribbon back and I would buy a new one on my own. The older gentlemen there told me the tech had thrown it away. Then the older woman there angrily said "let me see if I can find it." I am in the same room as this conversation is being had between the two of them. She can't find it and says to the older gentlemen; "just give it to him, let him have the new ribbon." I'm shocked by this but to top it off she says to my face, "he just wants something for nothing." With out saying a word I take the printer out to my car. I take a moment to let my rage subside. I then open the box and remove the ribbon, walk back inside and set it on her desk and reply, "no ma'am I do not." I'll never use this company again. read more

I have never left a yelp review but after what I just experienced with this company I am writing a warning to anyone wishing to work with them. After placing 5 calls to this company to come work on my OKI Data printer, the very nice woman who answered the phone sent a very nice technician to take a look at it. He wanted to order a replacement part and would be back the following day to install it. After he left I received a call from someone saying we were too far (21.7 miles) and he would need to cancel the ticket. I explained that they were the nearest company that could work on OKI Data printers and could he reconsider and add a trip charge for the inconvenience. He told me to SHUT UP and said again he was cancelling the service call. After a shocked silence I asked to speak to the owner and he said he was the owner! Living in Austin with things spread out like they are I'm not only surprised he wouldn't come to Bee Cave a whole 21 miles away even with a trip charge. On top of that to tell me to shut up! Don't call them. It's not worth the time. read more

I called to ATC to get a color problem of my network Lexmark multi-function color printer repaired. I have used ATC in the past, they are not very well organized, you have to call a few times, remind them of things but eventually they will get the job done. This time was unfortunately different. The color printing problem was fixed but after the ATC technician left, the printer was no longer recognized on the network. (please note a few minutes before the technician arrived we used the printer via the network). I called, asked to get this problem resolved. I was promised that a service call was initiated and nothing happened for a few days (no one called etc). In the mean time I worked with Lexmark tech support myself. Together with Lexmark we concluded that the network card/port was damaged. I called ATC again, they did not even remember that I called a few days again and that a service call should have been initiated..they did not find the service call in their system...I explained everything again and in short: ATCs position is that the network card must have failed by coincidence just at the time the printer was serviced by their technician. Since they fixed the color issue ...and a network problem has nothing to do with the color issue that they repaired ..... their opinion is that it is the customers problem. What ATC does not want to acknowledge is the following: - ATC serviced a printer for their customer - during that service (yes they fixed the first problem) they damaged another part and effectively rendered the unit useless to the customer. - A network (TCP/IP) port can be damaged if the person handling the unit is not careful regarding ESD...that is why printers often have yello warning stickers on the unit that read 'don't touch port'. According to Lexmark the entire motherboard ()with the embedded network card) needs to be replaced and the cost for the card itself is more than 600 US$. At least Lexmark support is agreement here. They have reviewed the case and agreed that the service company is responsible for leaving a fulling functional printer with the customer. ATCs invoice is 180$ and I will purchase now a new printer. read more
