We were here for dinner was immediately seated in the bar area ordered the appetizers and drinks first then we ordered dinner I got a full rack of sticky ribs with green chilies and cheese grits and sweet potato casserole, my wife got grilled chicken breast with rice slaw. Was great tasting and brought out in a timely manner.

Aspen Creek is a go to when I am near the airport. The service is always fast and the food is good. I personally love the steak fajita tacos so much I haven't explored anything else on the menu!

Located just 50 feet from the hotel I stayed at, I was not expecting much from this restaurant as it has that chain-type feel. It was packed and a bit noisy when I arrived for dinner. Fortunately, I was seated promptly and I ordered a cocktail. I had the sweet and spicy salmon for my entrée with rice and onion rings for the sides. Presentation was a bit sloppy. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the rice was awesome. Onion rings were also good. Got a slice of apple pie à la mode to go. Presentation was not good, and the pie itself was OK, dough was somewhat chewy/underbaked. In summary, this place pleasantly surprised me. Food was quite good and prices were fair. Overall, a good value.

Had a canceled flight and had to spend the night in DFW. Hotel recommended this place and had a 10% off coupon so I braced the underpass walk to check it out. 20 minute wait to be seated for a party of one if you didn't want to sit at the bar (wasn't offered). I ordered the green chili queso & chips, chicken breast with chili and loaded mashed potatoes. The queso was good and the chips salty. The chili was a Texas chili (no beans) despite being a restaurant modeled on Aspen, Colorado -- but I cant judge the recipe too harshly for staying local. Chicken breast was just OK -- Cheddars has a much better marinated one for the same price. This breast was moist and depended on the char for all of its flavor. Loaded mashed lacked salt, even with the cheese and bacon. Service was just OK. Not bad, but very little waitress interactions (never asked if I wanted a second beer etc). Place had busy energy and prices weren't bad. I'd recommend getting something besides chicken if you give it a shot.

Soo my bf ordered this for me because he wanted me to taste how good it was.. and he wasn't wrong! The food was tasty! The salmon with rice was just right! The rice wasn't over cooked and the salmon was cooked just right with enough flavor and wasn't salty. The bang bang shrimp over lettuce was good as well! I actually ate it together. Everything was ordered to the house via door dash, so I'm unsure of the service or ambiance!

On a one night stay at the Residence Inn/South, they recommended us to eat dinner at this restaurant. If you stay at the Residence Inn, they give you a 10% discount. It's 5 minutes via the hotel shuttle. It was a Thursday night and the ribeye was in special. Each night they have different specials. Our servant was pleasant and attentive and I felt like I was in Texas with the decor. For apps, we ordered the pow wow Shrimp and we were able to share the 16oz Ribeye Steak because it was a very good size for both of us. For sides we had green beans and yellow rice. We downed the food with some good old fashions and they were good so we had 2 more. For Dessert, we ordered Fried cheesecake with ice-cream. Very good meal while in Texas.

I am a regular guest and always have a great dinner with an excelente service. Aspen blue sirloin it's my fav. ! I just have an bad experience buying a gift card online because I bought a $100 gift card and when my friend used it for the first time the card have $50. I'm trying to contact somebody email via to fix o Receive an answer about this problem but I haven't been able to contact anyone.

We stopped by for a casual bite and had a mixed experience. The food was okay--not bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. We ordered a club sandwich with fries; the sandwich was fine, but the fries arrived a bit cold. We also tried the shrimp, which were just alright. The location is convenient if you're driving--there's plenty of free parking, however, it's not really walkable, and during the week they close at 10 PM, which was a bit disappointing since there aren't many other options nearby at that hour. Service was friendly and accommodating. They let us hang around after closing to finish our drinks, which we appreciated, though we did feel a little rushed to wrap up.

(English down below)…read more Saliendo del aeropuerto DFW, busqué algún restaurante que tuviera sopa de mariscos; no sé de dónde vino el antojo. Digo yo... no sé. Mejorar estos dos detalles llevaría la experiencia en El Viejón a otro nivel. ¡El Viejón, recomendadísimo! ------------------------------------- Leaving DFW airport, I found myself craving seafood soup--no idea where the craving came from. I searched for nearby options and El Viejón came up. I checked the online menu and reviews, then drove 13 minutes, only to discover a real gem. What I loved: The service was excellent. Nidia took care of us--she was not only kind, but also attentive and efficient. Adolfo, the manager, is a great guy. The simple but important things: Their plastic cups are surprisingly original. The menu is simple and humorous. Prices are fair for the generous portions they serve. What truly impressed me: The seafood soup. This kind of soup is simple: either you know how to make it, or you don't--and when you don't, it ends up like the one at Pappadeaux... something to cry about. This one, however, is loaded with seafood (crab, clams, octopus, fish, shrimp, squid, etc.). It has a subtle sweetness, and you can taste every distinct note. Highly recommended. One soup is more than enough for one person. I learned that lesson too late--after also ordering the grilled octopus. I had to get it to go because it was simply too much food. My only two complaints: The tostadas they serve come with chicken that looks like tuna but tastes like plastic. My dog was with me and wouldn't even eat it--which says a lot. Very strange. The other issue is the music: too loud and all from the same genre. If the goal is to honor Mexican culture, there are so many genres to choose from. Just saying--I don't know. Fixing these two things would take the experience at El Viejón to another level. El Viejón--highly recommended.

Confused, I chose one of the cheaper options only to find out after getting bill that my margarita was $18.95! Is this Via Real?!? If so, take some lessons from them on how to make a quality margarita since this one was not $18.95 material. - 3% service charge over posted prices for using a credit card. Didn't realize that on last visit. You do that, you're telling me you never want me to return. Food was good. Just not THAT good. I will say that the entree I received was large enough for 2, which would have made the $27.50 more reasonable. But if that's the intent, mention it on the menu. But I'm not sharing a nearly $25 margarita (after tax, tip and service charge).

On a side note, I know for a fact that this company requires all their managers to be clean shaven. I continue to be impressed by the service and the food. And when you combine this with the beautiful spring weather in Texas (March), it's one of the best experiences in all of DFW. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - If you haven't been to Water Street, go now while the weather is nice (March or October). I'm writing this review in March when the Texas weather is beautiful. While the inside of Pacific Table is elegant with blue booths and white tablecloths, the outdoor seating next to Lake Carolyn creates a view that's almost impossible to find in DFW: fine dining by the water. 1 Star. Service - The service is great. Our server was attentive, helpful, and best of all shared the special of the day. I always ask my server because when they recommend an excellent dish, it means the restaurant puts in the effort to enable them. Mission accomplished. 1 Star. Food - I went with Pacific Table's special of the day: blackened redfish with creole sauce and a vegetable. WOW. This dish was a homerun. The fish was tender, well-seasoned, and the sauce added a creamy component that reminded me of the bayou. As a bonus, my sauteed spinach that I chose as my side was equally delicious. If I wasn't dining in public, I would have licked my plate. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Every time I eat at Pacific Table, I try something new and am pleasantly surprised. The combination of service, specials, and amazing Texas spring weather makes this a repeatable restaurant in my rotation. 1 Star.
