Ordered delivery. I got the ribeye medium with a baked potato and sauted mushrooms. It arrived warm enough that I didn't have to reheat it. Everything was good. It would have been a nice add if it came with some bread.

After a long day of travel I had a delicious meal here. A 10 oz sirloin perfectly cooked medium, corn off the cob, a loaded baked potato and a beer with tip $33. What a deal! Friendly fast service and a menu that has something for everyone. Daily specials too! Rocking bar plus booths make it cozy place for all. Highly recommend.

Aspen Creek is a go to when I am near the airport. The service is always fast and the food is good. I personally love the steak fajita tacos so much I haven't explored anything else on the menu!

Located just 50 feet from the hotel I stayed at, I was not expecting much from this restaurant as it has that chain-type feel. It was packed and a bit noisy when I arrived for dinner. Fortunately, I was seated promptly and I ordered a cocktail. I had the sweet and spicy salmon for my entrée with rice and onion rings for the sides. Presentation was a bit sloppy. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the rice was awesome. Onion rings were also good. Got a slice of apple pie à la mode to go. Presentation was not good, and the pie itself was OK, dough was somewhat chewy/underbaked. In summary, this place pleasantly surprised me. Food was quite good and prices were fair. Overall, a good value.

Had a canceled flight and had to spend the night in DFW. Hotel recommended this place and had a 10% off coupon so I braced the underpass walk to check it out. 20 minute wait to be seated for a party of one if you didn't want to sit at the bar (wasn't offered). I ordered the green chili queso & chips, chicken breast with chili and loaded mashed potatoes. The queso was good and the chips salty. The chili was a Texas chili (no beans) despite being a restaurant modeled on Aspen, Colorado -- but I cant judge the recipe too harshly for staying local. Chicken breast was just OK -- Cheddars has a much better marinated one for the same price. This breast was moist and depended on the char for all of its flavor. Loaded mashed lacked salt, even with the cheese and bacon. Service was just OK. Not bad, but very little waitress interactions (never asked if I wanted a second beer etc). Place had busy energy and prices weren't bad. I'd recommend getting something besides chicken if you give it a shot.

Soo my bf ordered this for me because he wanted me to taste how good it was.. and he wasn't wrong! The food was tasty! The salmon with rice was just right! The rice wasn't over cooked and the salmon was cooked just right with enough flavor and wasn't salty. The bang bang shrimp over lettuce was good as well! I actually ate it together. Everything was ordered to the house via door dash, so I'm unsure of the service or ambiance!

Are you open on Christmas Day?

I am sorry we are not.

Is there a Saturday happy hour?

Hi Britton, Yes...we do have Happy Hour all day on Saturday. $3 wells and house wines, $2.50…

Hi, is this restaurant good for group of 50-55 people?

Hmmmm... I think calling them n setting up some type of arrangements would be best so they can accommodate the party to the fullest.

(English down below)…read more Saliendo del aeropuerto DFW, busqué algún restaurante que tuviera sopa de mariscos; no sé de dónde vino el antojo. Digo yo... no sé. Mejorar estos dos detalles llevaría la experiencia en El Viejón a otro nivel. ¡El Viejón, recomendadísimo! ------------------------------------- Leaving DFW airport, I found myself craving seafood soup--no idea where the craving came from. I searched for nearby options and El Viejón came up. I checked the online menu and reviews, then drove 13 minutes, only to discover a real gem. What I loved: The service was excellent. Nidia took care of us--she was not only kind, but also attentive and efficient. Adolfo, the manager, is a great guy. The simple but important things: Their plastic cups are surprisingly original. The menu is simple and humorous. Prices are fair for the generous portions they serve. What truly impressed me: The seafood soup. This kind of soup is simple: either you know how to make it, or you don't--and when you don't, it ends up like the one at Pappadeaux... something to cry about. This one, however, is loaded with seafood (crab, clams, octopus, fish, shrimp, squid, etc.). It has a subtle sweetness, and you can taste every distinct note. Highly recommended. One soup is more than enough for one person. I learned that lesson too late--after also ordering the grilled octopus. I had to get it to go because it was simply too much food. My only two complaints: The tostadas they serve come with chicken that looks like tuna but tastes like plastic. My dog was with me and wouldn't even eat it--which says a lot. Very strange. The other issue is the music: too loud and all from the same genre. If the goal is to honor Mexican culture, there are so many genres to choose from. Just saying--I don't know. Fixing these two things would take the experience at El Viejón to another level. El Viejón--highly recommended.

I continue to be impressed by the service and the food. And when you combine this with the beautiful spring weather in Texas (March), it's one of the best experiences in all of DFW. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - If you haven't been to Water Street, go now while the weather is nice (March or October). I'm writing this review in March when the Texas weather is beautiful. While the inside of Pacific Table is elegant with blue booths and white tablecloths, the outdoor seating next to Lake Carolyn creates a view that's almost impossible to find in DFW: fine dining by the water. 1 Star. Service - The service is great. Our server was attentive, helpful, and best of all shared the special of the day. I always ask my server because when they recommend an excellent dish, it means the restaurant puts in the effort to enable them. Mission accomplished. 1 Star. Food - I went with Pacific Table's special of the day: blackened redfish with creole sauce and a vegetable. WOW. This dish was a homerun. The fish was tender, well-seasoned, and the sauce added a creamy component that reminded me of the bayou. As a bonus, my sauteed spinach that I chose as my side was equally delicious. If I wasn't dining in public, I would have licked my plate. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Every time I eat at Pacific Table, I try something new and am pleasantly surprised. The combination of service, specials, and amazing Texas spring weather makes this a repeatable restaurant in my rotation. 1 Star.

Returned on a Saturday late afternoon and were excited to visit again! Different players this time. Wasn't impressed. Sat at the bar and it just never got off the ground. Slow. Uncertain. Not professional. Seemed like the staff needed more training. The management never engaged to make sure things were right after several things going wrong. A LOT of standing around looking clueless. 7-8 people standing behind the bar at one end chatting away. That's not a typical Pappadeaux. I won't name anyone but it was a train wreck in every way. Pappas concept is usually a well oiled machine. But not today. Was honestly an awful experience. It comes down to management and training. They're lacking. One excuse after another. The wait times and lack of accountability was sad. End of the meal we waited almost a half an hour for two desserts (ordered at the beginning of the meal by their request) and the manager came over and said the kitchen was backed up. Restaurant wasn't that busy. Forgetfulness by the woman that handled our order is more likely the reason. Was BS. I generally don't complain - but this was not a good showing for Pappadeaux. Management never even offered to make things right or make up for their lousy service. I know restaurants - and I've even been a part of Pappas' restaurants in the past. This location has serious problems. Doubt we'll be going back to Grapevine Pappadeaux. Spent $250+ for lunch and felt very unhappy when we left with our 2 desserts in a to go bag. Oysters were small and $31.95 Caesar salads had no croutons. Waited 15 min to get them and was told "yeah there should've been croutons on the salad". Asked for potato puree instead of dirty rice and was charged $9 for a dollop, and was still served the dirty rice on the dish after I told her I wouldn't be eating the rice. Mid rare request on the salmon was past on the degree of doneness. Prosecco refills on the $56 bottle was slow and frustrating. Empty glasses and waiting. Just felt genuinely ignored. Consider the Dallas Tollway, Lombardy, Oak Lawn, FW, Arlington, Richardson or Bedford before this Grapevine store.
