This is my first review on Yelp - I am compelled to sign up so I can write a review about this company! I called last weekend and spoke to David, and explained the new hive situation we noticed in one of our pine trees. I expressed my concern around the danger and the cost of removal, etc. Per David's recommendations to wait and see if the new hive would relocate, my husband and I waited the "24-48 hrs" that David suggested would be the timeframe the bees may just get up and leave. Exactly 25 hours from when they first showed up, the bees packed up and left. I really didn't think what David was telling me would be true, but I could tell in talking with him that he was very knowledgeable in this matter and bees are what this company knows all about, so we decided to give it a day. He didn't try to "scare" me into having emergency removal, nor did he try to rip me off with a ridiculous quote if we needed to go through with removal. I had called a few places before ASAP and not only was I being quoted outrageous high cost for removal, but I got no respect over the phone or any advice/suggestions on how to handle the situation - all I got was a general lack of professionalism from other companies. David was very kind and honest about the situation and cost, what it would involve, and likely what the outcome would be, etc. I felt well-informed and comfortable speaking with him. Since the bees did end up relocating on their own, we did not require the services of ASAP after all; however I have their information saved to my phone as they will be the FIRST and ONLY place I would call for any future bee issue. We had an infestation of aggressive behaving bees in a scupper on our roof. I called around to a few places and ASAP had the best rate. This is not a bee relocation service, but rather an exterminate and seal service. We made an appointment for Saturday morning, and they were right on time. Kevin was the one who did our work, and he was pretty fast, about 20 minutes, which included sealing the scupper. Kevin was very polite and gave us some information on bees in general, and what we could expect in our situation. It's 2 days later now, and no sign of bees. Kevin also gave us an estimate for removal of the nest/honey if needed. We elected not to do that at this time, but wait and see if it becomes necessary. I called ASAP to remove a hive of bees that had taken up residence in the irrigation valve box on one of my rental properties. Because the tenant has small children who are allergic to bee stings, it was imperative the bees be removed right away. When my current exterminator couldn't promise me when they could be there, I called A.S.A.P. Bee Removal. Dave answered the phone and said he could be there within the hour. I met him there about 45 minutes later and he did a fantastic job. I run a construction company with a few cargo trailers in the back. For the third time, bees have set up under the same one, so I called Kevin. He asked questions to make sure that the problem was lasting, (not just a temp hive), then came out and killed the hive the same day. He explained how there will be worker bees returning to the hive, so keep clear for a day or so, and explained why they keep coming back to the same spot. We just called Dave last week, they came the same day, and got rid of our bees. The bees were gone 24 hours later. A week later Kevin came and removed the hive from our shed floor. It was a huge hive and he explained every aspect and answered all my questions about getting rid and staying bee free. He checked our perimeter of our house and took care of a wasp nest right above our front door. He is fantastic, patient, and know a lot about troublesome stinging insects. This is easily a 5 star company. David was at my house about half an hour after I called. He is very professional and went about removing the hive from my patio furniture and cleaned the area of dead bees. They only kill the bees when there is no alternative (africanized honey bees) He also provided me with valuable information about how to treat the area afterwards. I called another Bee Removal company and they were going to charge $200 to remove bees from inside our water meter. A neighbor recommended I call ASAP since no ladder would be required, and not only did they quote less, but they (he) suggested I call City of Phoenix, and he was spot on.
