We just learned from our pest control company we have bees in the cinderblock wall in our backyard, and we were very concerned for the safety of our children and our pet. After dealing with another bee removal 'service' that failed miserably to provide any actual service but gladly took advantage of a situation to make way too much money for nothing, I was referred to A.S.A.P. by my exterminator, and boy was I glad! I spoke to Kevin on the phone and he gave me the information I needed to make the decision to have him treat the bee problem for us. He agreed to fit me in right away, showed up 30 minutes later, surveyed the bee problem and gave me several options regarding bee/hive/honeycomb removal. He treated the bees and when he was done, we talked over the options for complete removal of the hive/honeycomb, including directions for self removal. I can't express my gratitude to Leighton and A.S.A.P. Bee Removal! THANK YOU!!!! This morning, while doing yard work, I found a wasps nest. Not thinking I called the first company that came up on Google. Mountain View Pest Control!! HUGE MISTAKE!!! The technician arrived within 1 hour. He removed the nest and told me he would walk my property to be sure there were no other nests. He found two small mud wasp nests on the frame of a window and removed them. Once the removal was complete he presented me with a bill of $450 for the first nest and $250 for each mud wasp nest for a total of $995. I almost had a heart attack. I never thought nor did he say there would be an additional charge of $250 for each nest he found. He just stood there and would not leave until I gave him a credit card. When I said no he handed me the phone and told me to take it up with the owner. Ahhhhh Horrible experience. I called A.S.A.P. mid-afternoon and I talked to Leighton who told me he would come over when he was done with his last appointment and take a look at what MVPC had done or not done. I could tell he was tired but took the time to help me. AT NO CHARGE, he walked my property and found two additional nests that were and obvious as could be. MVPC had removed the first nest but did not spray residual chemicals to keep the others from returning and setting up camp again. Leighton took care of this. Then he saw that MVPC left parts of the previous nest, casings ect... that would attract the wasps back, and took care of that. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I will only use A.S.A.P. from now on. I called them out due to a large amount of bees at my pool. they came out looked around for 10 minutes and didn't find a hive so they offered to treat the pool and that that should keep them away long enough to find a new water source. so I had them do the water treatment cost 195 bucks 24 hrs later the bees are still at the pool in full force.so save your money if they cant find the hive. read more

The positive: They respond quickly and will kill the bees. The negative: While I hope it is not intentional, this ended up being a bait and switch. The description on the website makes you believe your paying for removal but really it is just for the extermination. Website states: Most Jobs Range $95.00-$225.00 with Free Estimates, Africanized "killer" bee removal, Hive removal, Honeycomb removal. Notice the frequent use of the word "removal". I only found out the real price to complete the job of removal (not repair, just removal), after I had paid the extermination fee and it was much more than $225. I felt cheated and will not call again. read more

Great, friendly service! I called for an appointment and Kevin came out the next day. He killed the bees and sealed up the location of the hive to help prevent the bees from getting in there (which a friend told me went above and beyond what most bee removal services do for the fee that I paid). I still need to have the hive removed, which is pretty pricey, but i appreciate the work they have done so far. read more

All about customer service! The gentleman on the phone was extremely nice and helpful when I asked what could be done with the bee hive. ( They were in my block wall in the back yard) He said Kevin would be here within an hour, which only took about 30 minutes. Kevin was professional and killed the queen and the others. He told me what I needed to watch for in the future. I have never had a problem with bees so I was clueless on what needed to be done. This company and the employees were above and beyond what I expected. I had called another company to get a quote which was the same price but were a bit short over the phone. I woke up this morning to find a swarm of bees on the front of my house, so I called ASAP Bee Removal and they said they could be there in an hour or two. They were reasonably fast, about an hour or so. The guy shows up, takes a look at the bees and says I don't have a bee problem yet and they are just scout bees checking things out. So I'm out $125 to be told I don't have a bee problem and they gave me a few little screens to cover up a hole. I understand a fee for them to show up but $125? What a waste. They may be fast and they may be good at their jobs but don't give them a call until you have a problem because they won't cut you a break. They did say they would ONLY charge me $50 more if the bees show up again in the next 10 days. How generous. Also, their website states "most jobs range $75-$195 with free estimates" yet they didn't actually do anything at my house and still charged me. Truly a disappointing experience and I will not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Bees. Shudder. ASAP Bee Removal? Smile. Kevin is a bee-whisperer, indeed. A small place house we have in our side yard had become infested with what we thought was a bee hive. Turned out to be a bee commune. Over 100,000 bees had to be dealt with. The process involved jacking up the building, hauling out several hundred pounds of honey and comb (we kept a jar and it is delicious), building a trench to divert water to discourage future bee habitation AND packing the bottom of the shed with a material to keep future bees out. Wow. This was an hours long process which my husband and I watched from the safety of my office window. If you have bees, call these guys. They really, really know what they're doing. The thought of our Grandlittles playing in an area where bees might swarm was unthinkable. ASAP gave us piece of mind AND access to our side yard again. Thank you Kevin for what you do. Called them Saturday 4/11 at around 11AM when I walked out my front door to find 1000 or so bees that were not there the night before swarming and apparently setting up their queen in a new home directly above the entrance to my home. I was having trouble with an exterminating co I hired to take care of a bee problem and when I got fed up with the other company not handling it properly I called ASAP and they offered to take care of it for us for a good price and right away. The original exterminator decided to get the problem taken care of for us after all so I didn't actually get services from ASAP but I do wish I would've hired them from the very beginning because their tech was so knowledgeable and still came out and looked at it and gave us all the information we needed. Highly suggest ASAP bee removal for your bee issues. We originally called David due to renters thinking they had an issue with bees in a mulberry tree. David was quick to say he could be out the next morning to take care of. Our renters told us early the next morning they went away and David had no issues canceling the appt. We called and within 20-30 mins late afternoon on a friday, Paris was at the house and took care of a huge hive in the stump of our tree. I would not recommend unless you want to give away $175. The owner came to my home and sold me on customer service and 30 day guarantee. Started off good. After 10 mins at my home owner was supposedly done. 3 days after service, bees were still there. After calling for a week straight for owner to come back, leaving voicemails, and calling about 3 different numbers on company website and receipt, NO CALL BACK. No lie as I am writing this review 05/2 (service done mid April 2017) nothing... I mean a simple courtesy call back would've avoided me writing this review but still NOTHING. They came out promptly and took care of the bee problem. Just one option given though...to kill them. I feel guilty killing all those Honeybees. They weren't aggressive at all. I wish I would have known about "live bee removal". I unfortunately didn't search for that on the internet before asking the guy on the phone at the first and only place I called. When asked about it, he said "no one does that anymore". Not true sir, you can find multiple local places on the internet, so search, if your bees don't seem mean, and you have a heart. 30000 Africanized Honey Bees on your home is a pretty scary thing to see! Called ASAP after reading all the reviews and they really delivered! Killed most of them and removed all the hive and honeycomb. Cleaned up the area, hosed it down and sprayed the area with lots of good stuff to keep them from reforming. Called in the afternoon due to bees in the attic. David came same day, found the hive, and removed it. No problems since.

Discovered I had bees in my attic. ASAP showed up on time and said they would kill the bees, seal the hole, and give me an estimate for removal of the honey. About 30 minutes later he was done, gave me a quote for $900 to remove the hive, and collected $200. Over the next couple of days I called around to get more quotes for the removal of the honeycomb. Everyone seems to be about the same price, so things are still looking good. But in talking with The Beekeeper, I begin to realize things might not be as good as they seem. My receipt from ASAP says the chemical used to kill the bees was Tenguard. The Beekeeper tells me that Tenguard repels bees, doesn't kill them, and only lasts for about 2 weeks. The Beekeeper came out and cut open my roof. The hole in the eave was filled with foam to prevent the bees from coming and going, but there were a lot of live bees still in the attic 5 days after ASAP had been paid to kill the hive - enough that he had to get his bee suit on and still got stung several times. It looks like I paid $200 to have someone spray a $5 can of foam into a hole in my eave. read more
