Reached out to The Beekeeper late afternoon of April 27 after finding a hive we thought was behind our shed and realizing that, at some point, one of the bees had stung our dog's paw. They had someone at our house within the hour!!! I had requested bee-safe removal, but upon seeing the situation, he explained that these bees were Africanized because they were aggressively swarming. He donned his bee suit and went to work. Apparently the hive was UNDER our shed and it was pretty big. He did a fabulous job taking care of the issue and provided further instructions on what to expect over the next few days. Tyler was onsite within 2 hours of us calling to have wasps removed from two of our bathroom vents. This was my first time using the Beekeeper after being referred to them by PV Trimmers which ran into a wasp nest about 35 feet high in one of the Mexican Fan Palms. Erik came out on his day off within less than 24 hours after I called. Erik was very nice, polite and knowledgeable. He sprayed everything including the pool and surrounding area. Within minutes the remaining wasps and bees left the yard and flew away. For years I have been using spray cans with some success but still kept dodging the wasps. We were trimming our bougainvillea in the early evening and encountered aggressive bees, I actually got stung on the shoulder. We called the next morning and out came Blake. Had a great experience with The Beekeeper! I called and they came out the same day. Tyller and James were professional and knowledgeable and took care of everything quickly. I thought I had a small bee problem which turned into something I never would have imagined could happen. We noticed some bees about a week ago and I was worried we might have a small hive. They found a whole colony that got in through a small hole. They stayed totally calm as they dealt with 60-70lbs of honeycomb. I noticed a bunch of bees beginning to swam under my shed and I looked up a beekeeper on Yelp and found this company. I called and they picked up right away and said they would be able to come out later that day to take a look. They also said they also do their best to conserve the bees and remove them if there is a nest but if not they would have to exterminate. The technician shows up and said they had not formed a nest but they were just looking for one so spraying a deterrent would work best. He said the bees will start leaving in a few hours and that the spray has a warranty for up to 90 days. If the bees did not leave, they would come back and spray again or remove them for free. The bees are gone now and unharmed, I am so glad they were able to come out same day, I would defiantly use this company again for any bees problems in the future! read more

I call the beekeepers after my wife was stung 4 times. I spoke with Jake and explained what had happened and there was a hive in my flower tree. I have found the Beekeeper on Yelp and have used them twice. The first time I had a hole in a brick building and the bee's created a huge bee hive and they pulled out 50 pounds of honeycomb. The second time was just a few weeks ago and I found bee's in a water meter hole. I called Beekeeper's and was surprised that someone was available and came out the same day. I was not at the location but they called me and I was able to tell them the location of the bee's. They took are of it very quickly. Beekeeper's called me a week later for the invoice and got this all taken care of. Very convenient. The Beekeeper is very professional and has taken care of all my bee hive problems. This was my 2nd bee hive colony, so I already knew that as long as the bees weren't aggressive, there was no need to hit the panic button. I used a different company back in 2018 to remove some seriously aggressive bees. The guy who came out was a flat out jerk. He made it seem like I was inconveniencing him on a Sunday afternoon. Its simple, if you dont want the job, don't answer the phone! He killed all the bees and I was left to clean up the mess of dead bees, poisoned honey and honeycomb. Bees decided to set up their home inside the exterior wall of my garage. I chose The Beekeeper because of their testimonials and humane approach for handling bee removal. Every time I called to schedule an appointment, Cheri would get back to me within an hour and had me scheduled within the next 48 hours. While it took the team a few times to track down the honeycomb, they didn't charge me for subsequent visits and were always very thorough in their checks. Jake was my primary technician and I can't say enough great things about him. He was extremely courteous, respectful, and helpful in explaining the action plan for removing the comb. While I was bummed that we had to exterminate the bees as the queen was just not accessible, we had to take that course as they were starting to disturb my neighbors and were attacking my landscapers. I had the option to leave the honeycomb in the wall, but when Jake explained that the honey could eventually rot the wall and/or attract unwanted critters, I decided to have him extract...and boy am I glad I did (see the pics)! They came out as promised on the day I contacted them. I was quoted a price of $195 to exterminate the hive. I was told that unless the honeycomb is removed they will return. The estimate to remove the honeycomb included removing roof tiles, which they will not guarantee breakage, was $1200. Having response on Friday or Saturday, I called them on Monday and was told they would be out on Thursday. And they required an agreement for several hundred dollars before responding.
