Great experience at this salon! Came with my friends as a birthday morning treat. The staff was very friendly and helpful making sure we were all seated together. The spa pedi was heaven, so relaxing and my shellac mani looks fantastic. The salon itself is very clean and hygienic and nicely decorated. This is hands down the nicest nail salon i have been to. It is very warm and welcoming, the ambiance is perfect. It was pretty busy but they we're able to seat us within 5 minutes. My pedicure came with a nice long massage, the service took about 45 minutes. They are very professional, nothing was rushed, it was very nice and relaxing. The staff is very friendly. I agreed with one of the reviewer, I had a bad experience here too . I came because all of those great reviews about this place, got a bad brow wax here- the women did a very poor job I had to get fixed at another place. My pedicure was not good either- the nail technician pulled out the dirty implements that has been used on someone else before--that was very unsanitizing, the tub I was soaking my feet in was dirty with some cuticle floating around-- will never come back here. I think Apollo is great. I received a shellac manicure and pedicure from Kim. She did an excellent job and I like the atmosphere of the salon. They are just a little more expensive than the quick in and out nail salons but they do a higher quality job and it is a much more pleasant experience. I usually love this place! I am so disappointed. I scheduled a 2:00 appointment on Friday (after a very long week) for a manicure/pedicure. I was in and out in just under an hour- and that is with me sitting for a bit to let my nails dry. I have never felt so rushed!! It was really disappointing. The services were back to back (so not as if they were doing the manicure while I was still in the pedicure chair), so there is no excuse for rushing me through. I booked my appointment three days in advance so they were not "fitting me in". Started at 2:00 and I was home by 3:03. I felt as if the whole process was so rushed, when it should have been relaxing. To the business: please make sure your staff takes the time with clients. I have used you since you came to QA however, I am now rethinking that I should go to Mimisan. read more

I would not recommend this business for any group party. Particularly a bridal shower. There was a deposit made for our bridal party to get their manicures and pedicures done. The bridesmaids were having services done but the bride was late due to traffic (in Seattle) and trying to make it on time. There was notification to the receptionist that she was going to be late even though most of the bridal party was already there. When the bride arrived for the booked reservation she was refused services and they would not refund the deposit for a blocked time. Very poor service. Or may I say NO service!!! Very clean and great service. Not easy to walk in, street parking. This spa is more expensive than the average nail salon, but it is worth the extra in my opinion--the pedicure is a good 50 minutes with a salt scrub, callous remover, cooling masque, hot towel, oil/lotion massage, and then paint. Had a wonderful experience getting a Shellac manicure and a pedicure from Jenny at the Queen Anne. Location, and would definitely recommend the business! The salon is beautiful, stylish, and clean, and the personnel were extremely attentive and professional. You can make appointments online, or using their App, which was extremely helpful. Nail tools were packaged in sterilized sealed bags when Jenny brought them to the pedicure chair, so no worries about cleanliness or sterilization. Prices were in line with what I pay where I live (out of state from Seattle), and the service was 1st Class! read more

Gorgeous space in decent location. Acceptable polish job. However, the service was not friendly, not particularly good, and was the minimum amount of work required for a standard pedicure with a slightly higher price than the average standard pedicure. Very, very little exfoliation. Very limited massage. Felt rushed the entire experience and still paid what is about $6 more than the standard pedicure elsewhere. If you just want a decent paint job, this place is fine. If you want to relax, not so much. read more

I am VERY picky with my nails, and am difficult to please with a perfect mani/pedi.I have difficulties finding a manicurist who can properly remove cuticles and paint nails thoroughly. Super high end feel when you come in. I did make an appointment but still waited 20 mins to get a spa chair. The pedicure itself was great. The gal took care of everything I asked. However, I was unaware of the fee to take off gel polish. Usually that is included in the service you pick. I believe it was $5 to take off and an additional $10 to put color back on...on top of the $45 for the pedicure itself. Then they charged for paraffin wax...? That's usually included in the service too since I picked the "deluxe" pedicure. I also got my eyebrows waxed. I walked out with a bill of $85 for a pedi and brows......! I understand it's Queen Anne and a nice area, but I'm from Newport Beach, ca and I never got close to paying that amount. In the end, good service, but charges should have been explained as we went instead of just handing me the final bill. Sorry to say but I won't be going there again. I usually pay that or less for a super delux pedicure with fill and gel polish for my nails. Just saying........ read more

My only complaint is that I always make an appointment in advance, which is smart to do because it is always packed. It never fails though that I don't get a seat for 5-10 minutes after my appointment. Today someone came in after me with the same appointment time and same pedi, but she was seated first. I'm sure it was just over site, but be prepared to wait even when you have an appointment. Overall they do a fantastic job and I would recommend this salon. read more

This place is really good at nails but the customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE. I have never been treated so poorly by the women at the front desk. Each time I am in there the main front desk girl is extremely rude and this time it's worthy of a review. I walked into to get ONE nail fixed and the salon is completely empty- literally not one person sitting in a chair and all the manicurists are just standing around. She tells me they are booked and to come back 2 hours later. I said "it's one nail? And there's no one in here? Can't someone fix it really quick?" And she said "nope Sorry, we are all booked you'll have to come back". Her tone was extremely rude and it was clear she was on some sort of power trip- saying no to me simply because she could and she totally enjoyed it. Honestly, enough is enough I've gone there consistently for years and I'm never going back. I would highly discourage anyone to supporting an establishment that allows its employees to mistreat customers. read more

I recently went with a group (for a wedding a day prior to big day)to get a shellac manicure and pedicure. Although the staff who did my nails were nice and did a great job, their management was AWFUL! The mother of bride, maid of honor, and the bride were running late; we told this to the manager however they refused to do their services and I even offered to have my staff not do my services in order to get the bride in. they also refused and kept the deposit. I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY WOULD TREAT ANY CUSTOMER THIS WAY. I would never recommend anyone to get services from this place. The bride, mother of the bride, and maid of honor ended having to go to another place. I can't believe management did nothing. THe owner refuses to return any calls regarding this matter. Let me say that I am very critical of nail salons. I always seem to find something wrong with them. However, I think I just found a nail salon in Seattle that meets my expectations. The salon was clean and the nail tech that worked on me was very nice and professional. She really took her time to cut my cuticle and gave me a great foot massage. I will definitely be back to try out their shellac manicure. Weekend are quite busy but I was fortunate to do a walk in. I would recommend to call ahead for an appointment. read more

I came here with my mom and daughter for a relaxing afternoon pedicure and the experience turned out to be awkward and somewhat unpleasant (especially for the price!). Although the actual pedicure itself was adequate, we were literally abandoned after it was complete. No one came by to tell us our polish was dry, to give us the bill, or to thank us for coming. We finally had to stop someone to ask for the bill and then remove the plastic separating our toes ourselves (and just leave it sitting on a bench). I'd expect a somewhat more pampering experience. The only time the took an interest in us was with regard to the tip. They hovered over me for a while asking me to fill in the tip when I finally told them I'd bring it to the register. It would have been nice to have a more person and relaxing experience. Next time I'd go elsewhere. read more

Apollo Nails is a nice place to get a pedicure. They are clean (the tools are in sealed pack opened in front of you), the technicians are friendly and efficient, and my nails look great when they are done. I definitely recommend making an appointment since they are always busy - the online scheduler is very easy to use. The one bummer is that there is a rewards program which I didn't find out about until I was a year in of pedis. I saw it on the app when I scheduled one day and asked about it at the front desk. I wish I had known about it sooner since you accrue points through dollars spent. There is no parking so you have to take your chances on Queen Anne Ave, which is always dicey on the weekends. The good news is that they are close to the 3, 4, 13, and 29 bus lines. They are located in a nice spot on the hill next to Safeway and lots of local shopping to take in after your visit, too. read more

Management here is only worried about your money and not about the customer. This establishment should receive a reward for having the worst management ever. They are rude and greedy. I just got married on 8/31 but went there the day prior with my wedding party to get wedding ready with nails/pedi and waxing. We were running behind but most of our wedding party was there and we had communicated with the shop that we were running behind. They had taken a deposit prior to our visit in order to hold our time slot. Instead of holding our time slots, they took walk-ins so by the time we arrived they didn't have room to fit me (the bride) in. We had to be at rehearsal after that so I had a very limited amount of time. Instead of accommodating any of us they offered nothing so we had to take 6 women and went over to see Anne with #1 Pro Nails on lower Queen Anne. She squeezed us all in and got us out of her shop on time to get to the church. I highly recommend #1 Pro Nails and I DO NOT RECOMMEND APOLLO NAILS. As a successful small business owner, I am appalled by their greed and behavior of our situation. I was getting married and they did not care about even squeezing me in. They took our deposit and kept it and gave us no services and had no problem with being rude to all of us. The nail techs from what I understand are fine but I would not give a dime to support this company and I will continue to tell every person I know about our horrible experience. It is sad because I do like to support local businesses but I will do my best to make sure no one I know ever gives a dime to this place. Save your money from going to this over priced place that can't even do a simple nail fill and go to #1 Pro Nails and tell Anne that she comes highly recommended. This place again only cares about your money and not about you as a customer. I am so disgusted and disappointed by their behavior.
