Let me begin by saying that LashBaby is fairly new, but the girls have been doing extensions for a very long time. They just recently got around to making their dream come true! So, yaaaay for family owned small businesses. Having said that, I've been seeing Bianca since the beginning of 2012. I tried other salons and I was never satisfied, until one of my best friends (who is also a client) suggested Bianca. I was hooked. I absolutely love my fabulous lashes!!! I've always had mine done by Bianca, but that's not to say her sisters aren't amazing. I just have a great relationship with her. I always look forward to catching up during our sessions and hear all about her projects. She is always gentle and making sure I am comfortable during our session. Not only do I get their automated email for the reminder... but she also makes sure I get a personal reminder via text so that's always sweet. My lashes usually last anywhere from 2-3 weeks. I follow her instructions and don't mess with them and I am super careful when doing eye makeup. The girls take time to educate clients on how to properly care for your natural and lash extensions and they focus on what clients wants. As far as the new location goes, well let's just say I adore it. The decor is chick, the place is clean, cozy and there is lots of parking nearby. The prices are amazing! The girls are knowledgeable, super sweet and down to earth! Did I mention I just had my fill done today? And I am soooo in love. Already scheduled my next appointment so I am set. I won't go anywhere else to get my lashes done! After going to two other lash artists, I finally found my lash artist, Mariah. She did such an awesome job and really listened to what I wanted (still need to make some minor tweaks for next time, but no big deal). About a week out and I have only lost a couple of lashes (compared to the other studio where almost all my lashes fell out after 1 week & for the same price & my lashes were completely different from one eye to the other). I have been to Lashybaby 4 times now. They were my 1st and only experience with eyelash extensions. A friend of mine recommended I try it out. My first 2 appointments were less than ideal but during that time I wasn't sure if it was the application or if it was me that was causing my eyelashes to fall out. After the first week my eyelashes would either twist causing discomfort or become loose and poke my skin. I was going to cancel my 3rd appointment (very disappointed right before my wedding!) but was informed that they believed the application was done poorly and they had let go of the gal who applied my lashes both times. At a reduced price, I decided to try one more time. The gal who applied my lashes took the time to listen to me, examine the health of my lashes, and helped me achieve the look I wanted without compromise. Now I am happy to say that my lash extensions no longer irritate me after 1 week. Nor do they go in crazy directions. I really love how they look. After 3 fills I think it's time I write a review. I was recommended to Lashybaby by some girlfriends who swear by these sisters work. I was super hesitant because I live so freakin far away, and my old lash place was right in downtown- so walking onto the ferry wasn't a problem. However, I was constantly amazed by how good my girlfriends lashes looked that I decided to give them a try. I texted my information and got in fairly quickly. I was set up with Armani- and I've been seeing her since. Location: The joint is located right off of Leary Way with ample street parking. It's located on the 2nd floor. There are 3 beds in a shared room that all 3 sisters work in- and although you may feel intimidated at first, everyone is so deep in conversation that you can't even tell what everyone is talking about. You still can fall asleep amidst the conversations going on around you. The nitty gritty: LASHES; They do amazing, and I mean A-MAZE-BALLS work here. These 3 sisters are so on point with their lash applications it's not even funny. They give even the thinnest, tiniest lashes a compete makeover with long luscious lashes. They know how to work it and they work it well. I can go a full 3 -4 weeks between fills because the application and precision of their work is bar none. I constantly get compliments wherever I go. Experience: I've had my fair shares of lash studios- if you don't believe me check out my reviews. I can not tell you how it speaks volumes for an establishment when someone who lives across the water, a full 1 hour ferry ride away, or a 1 hr 40minute drive away would come all the way out to Ballard to have them do my lashes. Do your research- lash places are popping up like Starbucks on every corner. Read reviews, ask questions. There are other places I could have my lashes done at, but I choose to come here for the quality, service, and experience. I've been seeing Bianca previous to this place opening and I LOVE the new spot! Adorable decor, parking is a breeze and I always leave happy. I am a person who tends to change my lash placement up frequently, which they accommodate beautifully. They use aloe eye pads to soothe the area while you lash-up. I usually have mine done in the spring/summer and give it a break in the fall/winter so I cant wait to see these ladies again! read more

So I have been coming here for about a year, I was referred by a friend. The atmosphere is super comfy and the fact that it's run by sisters makes me happy. (Family is important to me) I also live in Kingston so it is a bit of a trip for me but always worth it. The waiting room is very chic and the bathroom is always clean. Alexis is my girl however Armani has also done my lashes too. I come in every three weeks. In between my appointments I'm very ocd about caring for my lashes.
