I have been to a few nail salons with friends but have never seen a place like this. The prices are extremely reasonable and everyone there is very nice and gentle with their work. They are so good I decided to get my first man-icure here. I would highly recommend this nail salon, and even argue that it is the best nail salon in long beach! Kevin is great and he does excellent manicures of all styles. All in all this is one of those businesses where you just cant go wrong. Awesome prices, excellent results, and great staff. This is a horrible salon I've been coming here for the last two years they have been getting worser every time I come, there is one girl that has no certificate for working there for part time that's the owners daughter I hope all you guys be careful before you get hurt. However, about a year ago, I wanted to get my nails done to treat myself prior to a surgery, and I stopped in here without an appointment. Since then, they have become my go-to, as someone who only bothers to go every 4-6 weeks. I've walked in even on relatively busy days and haven't had to wait (it's like ladies just materialize!), their work is fine [for my purposes], they are reasonably-priced, they are very friendly, the vibe is very chill. A couple of notes - I don't get gel nails, just regular mani-pedis, so I can't speak to gel or acrylic experiences. I'll also say that at the more expensive salon, the polish seems to last longer (and I always bring my own color, so perhaps it's a difference in base/top and/or application). The higher end salon is also a little better at callous removal. But for the price and convenience, as someone who basically just goes to get "cleaned up" and not to impress anyone later, I don't have any real complaints. As has been mentioned, they accept credit for payment, but tips need to be in cash. I usually stop in unplanned and often find myself without cash, but fortunately, there's a credit union ATM steps away that solves the problem.
