Don't expect to use a credit card without a 3% fee....which, btw, is illegal. They are passing their fee on to you. Also, you can't use a card on Sunday. They direct you to their atm that allows you to pay them a fee...which they collect. I'll be contacting visa and MasterCard to make them aware. Then I'll be following up with the shop to see if they charge me a 3% fee. read more

The staff is pretty cool people. They did an amazing job with my nails! It is nice and clean and really close to work so I can get my nails done after I get out. I'm only giving it four stars because the first time I came here they charged me $35 for my marble gel nails. The second time I went, my friend got the same thing, and they charged him $40. I know it's only 5 dollars but they could be more consistent. I would still go back here regardless though. read more

They do good work (I've gotten cut a couple times) but their customer service is absolute GARBAGE. I witnessed one of the nail techs throw a fit clip off some ladies nail (the day before her wedding) and then speed off in his car. The worst part about this experience ? The owner never apologized ! Also, because I know this is important to me, this place is not kid friendly they will not turn down the trashy music filled with swear words and will continue to curse in front of your child. Edit - for the business owner who responded, I appreciate it. However customer service is customer service. Everyone who has worked in that field -myself included- knows about picky customers but they also know that that is just part of the job. There is a way to decline service to someone without yelling and speeding off. A simple "I'm sorry" would have gone a long way. I have been nothing but respectful in the shop I have tipped well and never been anything but nice and yet I have not received good customer service. Manners go a long way. read more

Unfortunately had really high hopes for it but was completely let down. Tony was very kind. I asked for a cats eye gel manicure. The magnet didn't work but the nail tech still put my nails under the machine. It was hideous. Then I asked for a black gel polish as a coverup and a little glitter on the ring finger. Got charged 40 bucks for it. And my hand is covered with gel polish. Seriously disappointed. Pedicure was decent though read more

Went in for a gel manicure and they came out looking nice but I literally had the gel polish on the palm side of a few of my fingers and one the sides of some of my nails until it I could give my hands a good scrubs. Their process was also a little weird in that they file the nails again after your done putting them under the gel light. In the end my nails came out good, but probably won't return. read more

Do not get a dip manicure from here- I have been multiple times and 3/4 times it has chipped within 1-2 days. Additionally, there is no continuity in regards to what I can schedule over the phone. When I tried to schedule with the nail tech who did a great job, I was told that I could not schedule with specific techs (which isn't true). On a separate occasion, I was also told they weren't working that day which also wasn't true. I have also been told that I can't schedule over the phone (even after scheduling multiple times over the phone). Do not go here unless you want to risk getting a manicure that will just be ruined in a few days. read more

The customer service was phenomenal. They made sure that I was comfortable and checked in with each step of the process to see if I liked the shape, color, length, and more. I was extremely satisfied and happy with the results. I would highly recommend coming here for the quality of their work and humor. read more

Tony it's sad that You don't value customer feedback. Your lengthy insensitive response to Livie G 2days ago.."you are not slaves", children should not be at nail shop, so if a parent wanted a mani & pedi for their child, do you not service young girls? In my previous post I failed to mention the offensive profanity filled music that was playing, and I am an adult. A professional business would want to create a Peaceful relaxing experience (find other music) you can find Spa or Relaxation, Smooth Jazz (excuses). Youtube is not just 1 channel.. Thats why Ladies go to Hair and nail salons. It's our "Me and Pampering" time. I hope that more clients will take the time to express their poor customer service experiences and also update their reviews when the "Good Nail Service" you provide goes "BAD" If you could take Your head out the clouds every person that exposes your business is not "Having a Bad Day" ARROGANT! read more

Very nice job on pedicure and manicure! Beautiful and clean with very friendly staff!. Definitely a keeper....I will be back!

It was my 3rd time having acrylics done here and AP Nail Spa remains the ONLY place I will go to for acrylics. Every experience I've had has been great, the nail technicians are incredibly welcoming and accommodating to any design I ask for, and this time was no exception. This design was executed flawlessly and my nails are absolutely beautiful! read more

The lady did an ok job on my nails. The place is absolutely filthy. Smells so bad of chemicals, my nose was burning, the floor was dirty and there was left over nail dust on the station that was never cleaned up. Nice people but I do not recommend this place. read more

I went in to have a pedicure done. I never have went to a nail salon as I have a Nail Specialty License. I was limited on time and needed to have it done. The woman who did my pedicure was wonderful! It's a beautiful place. She did a great job! What bothered me is how rude and disrespectful he was towards her. He was demanding her to take care of things and rolling his eyes walking away. While waiting for my nails to dry, I had to get up and say something. He said to me "You don't know who I am, everybody here Loves me!" I said, "I just want to pay and leave." He continued to emphasis that I didn't know who he was. He told me he didn't want my money and to leave! I insisted that he charge me so I could tip the person who did my manicure. He refused. I went to the ATM to take out cash so I could at least tip her. He kept yelling me and said I didn't know who he was and said she was his wife. I said "that was worse that you would treat her like that." He told me to leave, so I did. Then he was yelling, "yeah, you go ahead and walk out!" I couldn't believe it!! Never again! Wow!! I feel bad I couldn't leave her a tip!! I'll never support an establishment that feels they can demean WOMEN! read more

First time here I was looking for something near my school and I saw that this place had great reviews. I was very pleased with my visit. The staff is very friendly and salon is kept very clean and neat. I was in and out I arrived for a pedi at 10:15 and left at 10:45. I highly recommend this business! read more

AP Nail Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Buffalo, New York

I went to AP Nail Spa about a week and a half ago because my normal salon was closed for renovations. The staff was very friendly and actually entertaining and I enjoyed my time there. My nail tech however seemed rushed(by the time my nails were done it was closing time) and I had to tell him to fix spots on my nail where there was no dip and you could see my nail. Then the very next day my top coat was chipped on four of my nails. The pictures I am posting are taken today, 9 days from when I got my nails done (I would have posted sooner but my aunt died and I had that to deal with first). I usually do not have to get my nails re-done for 3-4 weeks but now I have to go again. I am very disappointed that I spent so much money for my nails to look so bad a day later and ever worse after 9 days. I DO NOT recommend this place. I want to add that this is my very first review. I normally do not complain but I had to post so that no one wastes their money like I did. I used yelp to find this place and I hope it helps others who are in seaech for a salon. read more

This is the first time I was there. I had to wait a little bit for my pedicure because there was only two people working but the girl took her time on my nails and they look really good. I'll definitely come back to get another pedi and gel nails as well. Update I came to get acrylics and tony is hilarious, super kind, and absolutely amazing at nails. If you want perfect nails even crazy designs, tony is perfect for it. read more

The work here is always consistent, no matter whose chair you sit in your nails will come out amazing. I get tons of compliments on my coffin shape and color, also the ombré nails are beautiful! I never wait longer than 30 min, if not I'm sat right away for a walk in. Everyone is friendly and the owner truly cares about his business and customers satisfaction. GO HERE!!! read more

AP Nail Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Buffalo, New York

I came here on a whim one day, needing a pedicure for my bridal shower. Veronica completed my pedicure and did an amazing job. I love how close it is to my house and the service I received. My mom actually went there yesterday to have a pedicure and loved it. I can't wait to go back and have some other services done. read more

We made appointments for three pedicures. They were ready for us when we arrived. Love a massage chair. Opted for the spa pedicure. Aestheticians were pleasant and professional. My only complaints - the color selection wasn't as broad as I've seen at other area salons. The polish application was fine but nothing to write home about. And, typical of many salons, they sit you at the dryer and never come back. In the end, a decent experience and I'd go again but I won't be going out of my way. read more

Got a last minute appointment and so glad I did because it was so busy and I could definitely see why. Such a great atmosphere and everyone was so nice. I got the deluxe spa pedicure and it was worth the price.. so relaxing!! I will 100% be back! read more

The owner will most likely add a comment to justify his actions but I'm no fool. Literally the only thing good about this shop is The owners wife. She's very professional and nice. Also the pedis are good. Other than that the owner is always rushing. Always over books appointments. Never can sit still long enough to even comprehend what you're asking him to do. I made an appointment 2 days before saying I needed a full set because I broke one nail really bad. I get there and get a pedi and then sit in his chair for my nails and he always acts like he knows everything and that he's always right. So he works on the broken nail first and gives me this awful curved nail. I then say ok whatever because we're doing a full set and taking off the old nails right. I told him 3 times!!! No he didn't do it so he basically gave me one new ugly curved nail and acted like he was stupid and didn't know what I wanted. He then acted like he didn't even want to take care of me. Then said come back Monday. I came in Friday. Like are you dumb? The nail you barely fixed didn't even match the other nine nails and it looked ridiculous. Tony tries to play people like they are stupid. The right thing to have done was to give me a full set like I asked 3 times and told you that's what I wanted when I made the appointment. A FULL SET! He had a fuck you attitude towards me and I literally walked out crying because of his attitude towards me. I also spent $48 in Ubers to get to the shop and back home then had to make another appointment elsewhere. He then texts me and basically says I'm a bad person and told me i will get my karma. Thanks tony. Overall I was coming to this shop for a long time because I considered tony honest and a friend. I stopped going ultimately because he never wanted to do my nails the way I wanted or would have an attitude or would always make me wait when I had an appointment. Also nails here don't even last a week. That's my honest review on AP NAILS. All this man cares about is being better than others and a bigger shop to be a jerk in. All he ever says is he's the best in Buffalo but he's not. There's way more talented nail techs and nail shops that respect their customers... read more

I believe I found a new nail salon!!!!! I found them on Yelp and gave it a try. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! The customer service it's amazing. They are very professional. I will definitely be back. This was my first time ever going. My sister and I got there around 3. They were super busy. (which was a good sign cause that means that people come here a bunch) it took them a while to take us but when they did they did a fabulous job for both of us! I just got a gel French manicure and my sister got a fill! The staff was nice, friendly and funny! We will totally be returning! read more

First of all, these nails are ugly period. The color is fine but the shape & how bulky they are, are disgusting. There is acrylic all over my fingers & at a point in time I felt a burning sensation. Secondly, I came with a group of 1 other black girls. Nobody greeted us at the entrance and we basically had to figure out what the drill was on our own. But when *others* came in they were greeted immediately and asked what color they want. Thirdly, they are beyond overpriced. I went in for a fill in & to repair 2 nails. I paid $40. A fill in is supposed to be $17. I was told the other 2 nails that needed repair was $5 each. You mean to tell me gel color is $13? Okay. read more

I need to update my review here because unfortunately my nails didn't last as they started lifting all along the sides within a couple of days. After spending $40 to get them done, I'm obviously disappointed. After doing some research, I found that if the nails aren't cleaned and prepped properly (cuticles trimmed, etc. - which they were not), and if they apply the product too close to the edges, which they did, they will lift. For a day or two they looked great though- very smooth and natural looking. They just did not last nearly as long as I expected. read more

Great little nail spa. They are always attentive to details & I love the friendly atmosphere.

I call a head to get a pedicure at this facility they told me to come in in 30 minutes. That they didn't have anyone available but they would in 30 minutes. So I came in and after 40 minutes and the gentleman proceeded to tell me that he doesn't have time to take care of me. The rrasowhy was because he already sent workers home and all the workers currently there are busy. Now I'm no genius but the point of making an appointment is that you're holding a spot for me. Then the guy told me that I'm 15 minutes late my cell phone says that its 7: 10 so in 10 minutes you decided to send workers home and take other people. Even the person that the owner was currently working on look totally uncomfortable because this is not how you handle a business. So now I've wasted 30 minutes and now I need to find another shop hoping somebody is open at this time and can fit me in. read more

I FINALLY found a nail salon I'm excited to go to in Buffalo! I've been going to some other places just as routine "maintenance" to keep up the polished look. But, I had sole extra time today to do a little research, and thanks to Yelp, I found this gem! I saw the cat eye nails in the pictures and I was immediately hooked. I made an appointment as per the other yelpers' advisement. Unlike some of the other salons, when I showed up for my 2pm, I was actually taken care of immediately after...around 2:05pm, I was already seated in a leather chair with my toes soaking in an lit up "ocean" of water. The service was fantastic, both the girl who did my nails and the owners participated in fun conversations. I got a mani, pedi and gel for both. I am OBSESSED with the cat eye nails...I am going to cause a tort from always staring at my hands, but ugh not even sorry! In and out, and straight to the gym. This will be my spot from now on. read more

Came here in March to get a set of acrylics done and they were BEAUTIFUL, especially by Buffalo standards.

I came here mainly because they were the only nail salon open on Sundays. I was pleasently surprised at how friendly and accommodating the staff was. I didn't make an appointment but I was taken back within 10 min . I chose a spa pedicure which was very relaxing and didn't feel rushed at all . The salon is clean and the prices are very reasonable. I'll deffinetly be coming back. read more

Dont bother making appointments. They take who they want and if you ask how much longer they will just ignore you! The owner is ignorant and very rude. Would never recommend this place. Take your chances and choose one of the other 1000 nail salons out there. You'll be much happier! read more

I left a review a few months ago, but it was for the wrong salon with a fairly similar name which is in the general vicinity of AP Nail Spa! I feel so silly and thought I double checked the name and location prior to leaving my other review but was obviously mistaken! Worst nail shop ever. I was un happy with my nail color and the tech told me I was wasting his time and kicked me out of his chair. Then the owner decides to "fix" my nails and put another coat of gel polish on my nails over another color. It was a horrible experience. I am giving you money and service. Disrespect and unhappiness should not be paid for. The worst service ever and I have moved and lived in many different states. Overly priced for disrespectful and lazy workers that do not want to take care of their customers and make them happy. Do NOT GO HERE And the reason why he would reply is because he know his worker was wrong. Lol. Plus the process was not fully done it was half done. Get the story right. And I should get my money back. Worst service ever. read more

So, I went here because it was the highest rated nail salon near me. I went, they were very very nice I loved how they took care of us, although they told me my nails were try n they weren't :( so my nails were ruined but they did offer later that evening when I called to redo them for free.
