Well, i have found a new nail place that i can finally call home. I'm use to going to Apple Nails on the boulevard, but they don't have much of a selection. So i took to Yelp and as per usual was not disappointed. This salon is newly owned by Tony, great guy, very talkative and interactive. I went in for an acrylic fill with gel nail polish, and treated myself to the mysterious "cat eye" nail. I was taken care of by Tony (not the owner), he was very gentle, and meticulous. So much so that i didn't have to file my own nail, like i usually do (yes I'm that girl) My nails look lovely, i am happy, and cannot wait to go back! read more

Me and my daughter did not receive the service we paid for which was included in the deluxe pedicure. Hours after leaving I noticed my nail polish was coming off. I still had my sandals on. I was leaving for vacation in the AM and could not leave them like this. I ended up going elsewhere and pay for a polish change. read more

This salon is a bit dirty. They are open on Sunday but don't accept debit or credit cards then you have to use their atm machine. I was disappointed with the state of the salon In addition my dip started peeling after 4 days and one nail chipped off completely after 1 week. I'm used to dip lasting 2-3 weeks. read more

I don't typically get my nails done but when I do I want a very nice natural look and I usually go to the same person but today she wasn't available so I decided to go somewhere new BAD MOVE! I thought if I went in with a picture and showed my nails technician specifically what I wanted they would be able to easily achieve my desired style. WRONG! My nails are more blocky and thicker than the picture I showed her and she still decided to do her own shape after showing her the picture of how I wanted my nails. I already have a low tolerance for this since I don't usually get my nails done as it is. So needless to say I was over it and left dissatisfied. WONT EVER BE RETURNING! Couldn't follow simple directions from a simple picture. Upset because I have a first date tonight and I absolutely hate my nails they're horrid. read more

I just moved to Buffalo last week and decided to treat myself to a full set with gel polish. After tirelessly looking for a decent salon I came across this one. I called the day before and made an appointment, very smooth conversation. As I arrived I was greeting and felt like a wanted customer. Overall my nails came out clean and neat. Very accommodating, I called for a last minute pedi after an appointment around 5, and they were able to get me in at 5:30 even though they were pretty busy. The wait wasn't very long, they were very friendly and hospitable, everything was clean, and the pedi was great! read more

I walked in and got seated almost immediately which was nice. Place was clean and staff there were super friendly. Some reviews stated they felt rushed and though they worked fast and had a lot of clients, they were very thorough and detail oriented! I went for a full set and waited a few days to see how the nails held up before writing this review (to see if there would be any nail breakage/lifting/etc). I got exactly what I wanted and the guy who did my nails was very gentle (made sure not to overfile/cut me). My whole set with gel was about $50, which is super reasonable. I'm very pleased and would highly recommend this place. I'll definitely be returning to them. read more

Plus: Got a walk in appointment at 6pm (Thursday) Great prices $15 for mani & $25 for pedi (regular nail paint) Very friendly staff and I'm happy with my simple & clean nails Cons: The stations & tools were clean but the area next to the window (near mani stations) was not dusted and had wires, mobile chargers etc lying around. Also the lamps were not dusted. Some of the chairs looked pretty old and worn out at the corners. But that does not really bother me. read more

I looked for a shop opened on a Sunday, and found this one. So glad I did! I made an appointment for a pedicure. My feet were long over due. As I was sitting there, I asked if I could get a manicure. They were very happy to comply. The same girl (I can't remember her name) did both. I have incredibly weak nails, and all different lengths. I don't mind that at all. I asked for gel polish. She talked me into dip. Best decision ever. She was correct that it would make my nails stronger. She explained the process, was very professional. The owner made sure I was happy with the service. He was friendly, professional, and definitely proud of his establishment. I never had a regular place to go, but I do now! read more

This was my second time trying this salon...I'm not sure if my expectations are just to high or what it is but I'm just not happy with my recent service..I feel my nails were rushed this is the second time I asked for a manicure did not get a manicure...I'm not sure if they don't do them or what but I feel like they just shouldn't offer things they don't actually do. I walked out with dip powder all over my nails the salon overbooked and just unorganized. I feel their are good nail techs in salon but the business overall isn't a good look for them. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER! I came in asking for a pedicure and full set w manicure. They did the pedicure first. The woman who did my pedicure was incapable of anything other than a solid polish. No design. No French. No nothing. Just solid polish. The guy they sent me to do my nails with REFUSED to cut my cuticles before doing my nails insisting it would MESS UP NY CUTICLES. I've been getting my nails done like this FOR YEARS and have NEVER had this issue. I then told him how I wanted my nails (clear and white ombré w gold drip polish on the tips) and he said he couldn't do it. He directed me to the owner. I sat in the chair even longer waiting for the owner. When I told him what I wanted, he also said he couldn't do it. I said, you didn't even TRY! You could at least do the ombré and TRY the drip on one nail. Then if that's no good, we can change the plan and figure out a different design. He told me "there ain't no changing the plan, honey." And basically REFUSED to do my nails!!! Wow!!!! I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this place. ------------------ Actually, you did NOT take good care of my mother. You did decent work with cheap product and now less than 24 hours later, her gel polish is coming off in the shower. You charged her an arm and a leg for your work and didn't even do a good job. The issues here are NOT kindness. The issues are your LACK of professionalism, customer service, lack of flexibility, and quality of work. I went to another shop later that day and the young lady looked at what I wanted and did a BEAUTIFUL job. SHE was kind, professional, TALENTED, flexible and was SMART enough to have an OPEN MIND and LOOK at what I wanted before saying no. You should REALLY work on your English and communication skills. Maybe stop running your mouth so much bragging about your limited abilities and quietly take some enrichment classes to further your development. You could use it. read more

I wanted to like this place with all the good reviews and because he's so nice. Plus I wanted to justify spending $60 on nails, but it's a mess. When we were there they completely forgot to do my friends nails, my nails kept popping off during the service (a bad sign), and he made them waaaay longer than I asked for. I wasn't happy but they seemed busy and I was already there for 2 hours. Been 3 days and all my nails are popping off. I put some back on with a drugstore nail glue and they're way more secure than what I paid $60 for. Not even going to bother calling back and getting it fixed at this point. Gonna try filing them down until I get the chance to go somewhere else this weekend. 2 stars for pretty nail design and personable staff, but I've gotten much better quality nails way cheaper. Don't feel like paying $60 for nails that pop off for no reason. read more

I was in search of a new nail place and was excited to find one who seemed so experienced. The people are very friendly. The old guy was nice but was a lil rough with my hands. When he messed up my nails and wanted to do my nail,that I'm payin for, how he wanted, I asked him nicely to do my nails the way I want them. I had to repeat myself over and over again. When he decided to finally do my nails the way I wanted them he had a attitude and was bein very rough with my hands, damn near pulling them. He seemed angry with me because I asked him to do his job. Very disappointed in my experience... This review is in response to the owners response to my previous review: I was never disrespectful to your worker in anyway. I never said I disliked my nails...I just didn't like the attitude and how he was very rough with my hands. Your only saying I'm disrespectful because of my age! I'm goin to speak up if I feel like I was treated the wrong way, which I was...and if my money is not welcomed I would like a refund immediately because I was over priced! read more

Tried this salon it today today for my first time and also my first time getting dip polish. The staff was very friendly, efficient with time, and got costumers in and out as fast as they could. They are first come first serve and very fair about it. With two girls ahead of me I waited about 15 minutes before I got taken care of which wasn't bad at all and way less time then I expected for how busy it was.They have literally tons of colors for both dip, gel, and regular polish. I am obsessed with my nails. I think the gentleman that did my nails was named Tony and he did an amazing job! They are shaped perfectly and exactly what I wanted. The place exceeded my expectations and I will defiantly be back!! Also just FYI bring a few dollars cash for tip because you can't leave a tip with card. read more

This nail salon is amazing. I have gone to this location 3 times and each and every time they are quick professional and do great work! My first time the owner did my nails and it was amazing for my first set of nails ever!!! I won't go to another location I'm so happy with their work! first time i had a good experience but this time not so good...after my 1st visit ever to this shop on oct 27 2021 (which was pleasurable) i revisited the them... I went back for services on 11/10/2021 as i needed a pedicure and a polish change..i asked for bill as he did an exceptional job the 1st time i went, but; this time he seemed aggravated..he didnt talk much he didnt smile and when i was having a problem with the massager that kept shutting off after 1 minute, he seemed to get aggravated, when i voiced my concerns about it.. as he was changing my nail polish i told him i would be back the nx week so that i can have the acrylic removed and put a fresh coat of overlay..and he responded "well anyone here can help you" and i said "but i like the way you work, you just need to smile more" ..and tony jokingly said "well he smiles depending on how his morning goes with his wife" that was that and again he did an awesome job... so i then returned today 11/16/2021 as i needed service on 1 nail as the acrylic had lifted and i was in pain and when i walked in bill looked at me as if he saw a ghost and when i said hello to him he didnt acknowledge me or ask me what i needed...then tony asked and as i explained, he said i needed an appt and that i can come back at 5pm, so i left because i couldnt wait 45 minutes ..i was broken hearted as i really wanted my nails done there as i know i was 100% satisfied 2x even tho bill seemed like he didnt want to service me.. so i went down the street to AB nails there i was greeted and taken care of right away..i was able to get a pedicure and i had the old acrylic removed from my nails and had dip polish as well... after tip and purchasing a couple products i spent $128.00 but it sure was worth it.. AP nails bye-bye i wont be back..you lost a good customer.. read more

I loved going to ap nails! I'd go in there show them what I wanted and they would do it so well. My nails made me feel so good they'd be a topic of discussion at my job. I'd tell everyone ap nails.I'd get the dip done, coffin shape, gems. I put down big money every time, tip well because it was much deserved. Sadly I've come to have some very bad experiences lately. All of a sudden I'm getting just gel put on, coffin shape nails are crooked, this time around they are fat when I said I wanted them sharp. my nails never came off before now they are. I thought I was going back to have them fixed and get dip. they literally didn't listen to me and I felt rushed out at closing time. I'm really sad I thought so highly of the place. Now I'm looking at my hands not so confident to show them off. Trying to figure out a different salon to go to from now on. read more

These were the nicest people ever, and they did a great job with my nails. I'm not a fan of purple, (but that's my fault - I picked the wrong color), yet I still really love them. I gave it four stars because the design didn't come out quite like what I wanted from the picture, but it still came out really cute. And they were all so polite and friendly I just loved this place. (P.S. I have some black dirt particles aroundy cuticles that I don't know how it got there? That's not part of the nail job lol). read more

I called the owner because I am the Maid of Honor in a wedding this weekend. I was looking for place to bring the bride but we had to be there at 9:30 because we had a dress fitting immediacy following. AP doesn't open till 10, but they called their staff in to come in early for us. They are so sweet and accommodating. The place is clean and well kept. The owner made us a ginger and honey tea and truly pampered us. They made for a relaxing experience two days before the wedding. We are so glad we came and will definitely be returning. read more

Winter temperatures upon us, gloomy day, why not go get a mani/pedi? Clean, professional atmosphere. The hand and foot massages.... Heaven! There is one negative and it's a pretty big one. When you walk into the shop, you're smacked in the face by the smell of the chemicals used on acrylic nails. It's really overwhelming and the scent doesn't lighten up no matter how long you're in there. Migraine sufferers, stay away! Stink aside, you're welcomed as soon as you walk in. The associates are pleasant and do a great job with just a regular old polish. read more

It was my first time coming based off of a coworker's recommendation. I came in as a walk-in and was immediately taken (I expected to wait, which would have not been an issue, but getting taken right away was definitely a plus). My first time here and I loved how my nails came out! Even though my friend and I were new customers, the staff were very friendly and they did a really good job on our nails. First of all, I barely ever leave a review for places. You either have to super impress me or the latter. I have been going to different nail salons based on recommendations and trying to find the perfect place with extreme disappointment.....until now. The technician who did my nail immediately called out the poor quality of the nails I currently had. They were so thick, chunky and unnatural looking. He promised me he'd make them look better and boy did he deliver! I'm obsessed with them. I have found my permanent nail salon and best part is is that it's 5 minutes from home. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about AP Nails. #1 not one single employee in that place speaks Chinese around their clients, not that it bothers me (to an extent) but I think some people do get uncomfortable when the nail technicians speak Chinese in front of them especially during something like a pedicure, who knows what they might be saying about you! #2, Dan did my nails, he was extremely focused and made sure every detail was on point! The prices are average; $25 for a full set & $45 if you went it with gel, which is very well worth it. I was beyond impressed with my visit and I will most defiantly be returning! read more

I wasn't going to leave a review, but I changed my mind because the only reason I drove all the way to this nail salon was based on it being rated 4 stars which I find it hard to believe. I just moved to Buffalo and I'm looking for nail salon and idk if it's because my nail salon back up set my standards high, but I am so disappointed. Worst pedicure of my life and the staff is very unwelcoming. I walked in and literally stood for 2mins before anybody acknowledged me even thought everybody noticed when I walked in. The lady doing my pedicure didnt appear as if she wanted to do my nails. &' the pedicure it self just felt dirty and she was very inattentive, but oh well just a warning before you choose to go here. Came for the first time today and loved it! Made an appointment right at 11 am when they open. My friend and I were seated in the pedicure chairs promptly. I got the basic pedicure and it was great! I also received a gel manicure. I had a picture from Pinterest and my nail tech completely nailed it (lol). She was so kind and did a great job on my nails. I was in and out in less than 1.5 hours which for a mani and pedi is awesome. The prices are super reasonable- I paid a total of $55 dollars. I would book an appointment even though they take walk ins because the place was busy as I left! I will definitely be back. read more

I used to come here all the time loved the atmosphere and people who worked here. Now these new owners think it's a night club. I go to a nail salon to relax not here music that is racists, and vulgar towards women. They did change the music but i had to ask. Will not support this place anymore. In fact I went in for multiple service and left after one service. read more

I've had plenty of gel mani/pedi. I had these services at AP nails a few days ago and the gel is ALREADY chipping off. The polish on my toes is even chipping and that last for a month even during the summer. Literally it's been under 48 hours. Didn't even hold up for the 4th of July which is what I had them redone for. Also, it's not advertised on their site but they're cash only on Sunday. The nail tech was awful, she shaped the nails poorly and hurt my toes digging her own nails into them. I don't know where all of these reviews came from, but I wouldn't recommend this place or return. I went with a friend of mine, and she even messaged me yesterday that her gel is chipping off. Worst mani/pedi ever. read more

Soo.. they charged me $95 dollars for this. I got a basic gel pedicure which is starting at $50 and a short gel full set for $45 , unbelievably super over priced for an OKAY/ mediocre job and the place isn't even that nice inside so I don't understand why so expensive if it's not luxurious. The lady told me gel has gone up double because of coronavirus .. like what ? Would not go back again I thought the price is more suitable for longer nails or an upgraded pedicure not for what I got :the only thing I enjoyed was the massage from the pedicure chair besides that I feel like they raped my pockets. read more

Not giving any stars to this place after the horrible experience I had yesterday 1/25/20. I walked in to get a full set at 1:10 pm and was greeted very badly. They asked me what I wanted and I said a full set. The owner, Tony, said okay then started saying "oh I have appointments at 1pm 3pm 4pm" etc...mind you the 1pm wasn't even there yet. He then proceeded to say okay well it's 1:10pm and my 1pm appointment is not here so you can have a seat there. The nail technician that did my nails was rude from the gate. Upon doing my nails, he cut two of my fingers with a nail file (photos attached) and not once did he put any antiseptic cleaner to it as it was bleeding. He just kept saying sorry over and over again. Once I was done, he told me you are all set and told me it would be $40. He and the owner Tony then started talking in their native language. When the nail tech finished talking to Tony, he tells me "oh it's $50" Not once did he acknowledge the injury his nail tech caused me but then decided to charge me full price. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN....It's not the principle of the money but the service did not warrant a full price charge. I have been putting peroxide on my two fingers since yesterday to make sure it doesn't get infected. Never again will I go here and never again will I recommend any of my friends to go here either! I would give this place no stars but in order to post this review, I have to give it one star. read more

I called Tuesday afternoon to make an appointment, the owner Tony answered the call and got me and my sister in today (Wednesday)! We got there a half hour early and Tony and one of the nail artists started with us right away! My sister is 27 and autistic and had never had her nails done professionally. I requested a grey and pink ombre coffin acrylic set and Tony took his time and paid attention to every detail and made sure my nails looked fabulous! My sister requested "invader zim" Themed nails and I showed the woman the reference picture and when she was done we were all shocked at how accurate and attentive to the details she was!!! She made sure to make sure my sister was comfortable and happy the whole time! All in all the ENTIRE experience was amazing and excellent in every way! I can say that I've found my new regular nail salon and I made that decision not long after being there! Also Tony the owner made sure to let me know if anything went wrong with our nails to let him know ASAP and he'd take care of it which was nice. We came in from out of town and were looking for a good place in Buffalo to get our nails done, and I wish that we lived closer so we could come here again! The techs were so much fun and the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly, making getting your nails done such an enjoyable experience. I got dip nails, and after the tech had done two coats and filed/buffed them, she decided they needed another coat and so she took the time and energy to do another so that they were perfect. Really going above and beyond! My nails feel so sturdy and I am very impressed with the excellent job they did there, and so was my friend who I went with. If you are an acrylics person or someone who knows a quality salon when they're in one, you'll appreciate AP Nails. I've lived in many states and have had acrylics done all over the country and this nail salon really has some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. They are very caring and make sure they do a consistent, great job for you every single time no matter what service you get done. I live in Orchard Park and drive 30 minutes to see either of the Tony's for my acrylics because they make it very worth my while! This nail spa was fantastic! The technicians are friendly, patient, skilled and, they do not rush the process focusing on superior quality. I've had acrylic nails before at other salons and never maintained or filled them because I hated the process and the quality was never what I'd hoped so I didn't bother returning. This place is great. They know what they're doing and have all the trendy options. Respectful, considerate, and attentive staff. I get my nails done VERY often and know what I want and how it should be done. Here I was taken care of by an older gentleman who did such a fantastic job with them I was extremely impressed. Dip polish can often come out sort of lumpy and rounded, especially on natural nails-- but not mine. Very smooth, perfect job. I came here the first time I'd ever gotten acrylics done for my graduation and was very happy with my choice. I asked friends for recommendations and multiple people said to come here. I showed Tony a picture for the style I wanted and I got red gel polish. Also got a fill two weeks later (just because my actual nails were growing out, the polish was still in perfect shape) and the fill looked almost like a new set. Highly recommend!!! read more

Went to AP Nail Spa today with terrible poly gel nails from another salon(DO NOT GET THEM) and Tony was extremely patient and made sure he fixed every part of my nail.
