I typically come here for a gel spa pedicure and Tony always does an amazing job. Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly. I recently came in for a gel manicure and I can admit I was a bit nervous, because someone new did my manicure. The manicure itself wasn't the best, I think my cuticles could have been better but the overall paint job was okay. I would return for both a manicure and pedicure. Update: I came here again today, I definitely wouldn't recommend a manicure, or at least with the tech I went to (male/black hoop earring) he doesn't seem to be skilled in manicures. My cuticles again, look like I haven't had a manicure at all. The way he removed my gel polish was a bit concerning also, as my nails are completely natural. He used a drill instead of allowing the remover to soak long enough. My nails are super sensitive now, burns and feels paper thin. read more

The hubby and I are visiting the area and decided to both get pedicures. We were greeted right away by the very friendly staff and seated into chairs and soaking our tootsies right away. Very nice pedicures service that ended with a great lower leg massage. Polish was very neat with both a base and top coat. I've been going to Elite Nails for the past four years and I have never been to a more welcoming nail salon. I regularly get pedicures and my eyebrows waxed. They may be a touch more pricey but you are really supporting a local business full of sweet ladies and a guy. I've never left feeling like they did a mediocre job. They ask me about my life while making my gross feet look and feel beautiful. Whenever I walk out the door, I feel pampered and well cared for - how many nail salons make you feel that way? I had to find a nail place very quickly before I had to be at my rehearsal for my wedding. This was the closest place to my parents' house and got the best reviews...so I went. They were very friendly when I asked about gel colors. I was obviously a little stressed, since I was crunched for time, so I asked how long it would be since I was in a rush and they said 5 minutes. In that time they brought me over to the station and I was given a polish change (no manicure nor pedicure due to my recent spray tan). After the base coat my nails sat under the UV light for a long time before the polish was put on. At one point they had two people (one doing my fingers and another doing my toes) to help expedite the process, but there was a lot of sitting under the UV light still. Underneath my one toenail I had a fresh cut and it stung when they put on the cuticle cream. For a gel polish on toes and hands with no manicure or pedicure it was $55, which to me seemed pretty steep of a price. read more

Not the best they could have done, and a bit overpriced. They gave me a sheet with their pedicure prices on it, and the first, most basic option was $28.... unless you get gel color, then it's $45... That must be some really expensive gel polish. The girl put tin foil and cotton with acetone on my fingers, and left them the entire time she did my pedicure, so I was subjected to watching crappy Hallmark channel TV shows that made me want to vomit. I couldn't check my phone, or text anyone, or read emails, etc. Then after my pedicure she called me over to the booth to do my fingernails, and she didn't even give me the temporary sandals to walk over. Considering I had tinfoil on my fingers, I couldn't put my socks or shoes on... So my feet were freezing the entire time she did my nails. I probably won't be back again unfortunately. read more

Nice place for nails. They have 7 pedicure massage chairs and 6 manicure stations, 1 tv, and talented manicurists! Everything is sanitary and clean. They can do just about any design you show them which is pretty cool!! Price is reasonable and they make you feel right at home :-) I will definitely be coming back. read more

Prices are more expensive than what I've found at other nail salons in the area. However, they are extremely fast and efficient. I made a 6:30 pm appointment on a Friday evening, and was in and out by 7 pm. Normally the service I received takes close to an hour at other salons, however I don't feel like she skimped or left out any important steps while cutting the time nearly in half. They are open until 8 pm on Fridays, so I also don't think it was a rush to get be out and close for the night. Added plus that this salon is directly next door to my fitness studio I frequent 4-5 times weekly. Elite Nails is a small salon on Main Street by Transit Road. I read about it on Yelp and was nearby and decided to try it out. Because the nail salon was tucked away, it wasn't super busy and it was easy to get a manicure on the spot. The service was fast and efficient, but I did notice that they charged me more for my manicure than the posted price, which was disappointing. Make sure you bring cash as they will charge you for using a debit card if your purchase is under $10. Needless to say, I wouldn't make an effort to go back but if stuck with some time to kill in that vicinity, I would possibly stop in again. read more

I found this place by chance while desperately looking for a nearby salon to take off my grown-out gel polish. My technician was quick and clean, and she was gentle! No angry buffing or cavalier attitude towards my cuticles. They have a wide selection of gel colors, and their prices are comparable to every other salon I've ever used. I had an appointment very soon after I walked in, and when I expressed this, my technician was able to get me in and out in a crazy short amount of time (including the old gel removal), and my nails looked great! I went today to get my nails done for vacation usually I never complain but it's vacation it's special... all I mentioned at first was that the thumb nails were the wrong color which I had questioned throughout and he shrugged me off and said ya a couple times I asked a second time then was like oh maybe cause of the dip it just looks different he shrugged me off again saying ya a few times then he put the top coat on one of the fingers and I said it's the wrong color he then proceeded to yell at me telling me it was the color I picked I stated no I picked number 36 which I said without having the selections in front of me to reference showing I know what I said but he still argued mind u I wasn't rude about this at all to start He stood up pointing his finger in my face yelling and when I finally yelled back he kept it going telling me they looked good even tho not what I asked for not to mention the nail was bumpy and another had black dip left on from before which u could see through the new dip which i didn't complain about until he continued to yell and point I then stated I do not like to yell and you disrespected me I do t want to hear anymore just stay away from me and he continued then still charged and threatened to call the cops if I didn't pay.. I have worked in customer service for my whole working life never have I ever been treated or treated anyone that way I was shaking to the point I cried on the way out... yes embarrassing but that's how bad it was. Do not go here he was the owner so not like anyone can fire him. I Have never been so disrespected or felt the need to write a review (hence the poor punctuation and length ) but this has to get out there. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the lady doing my pedicure was very nice. However this was NOT a good pedicure, I basically paid someone $33 to paint a French manicure on my toes. No massage and when I left my feet feel worse than when I went in, she must have filed them wrong and tore up my skin! Also she used cuticle nippers, which is not allowed, and left pieces of dry cuticle on me still. She used used files on me when I asked her she said they were new, I could clearly see they were not. And she painted my nails with my own sandals on, which I find sort of rude considering what I paid for them. read more

Stopped in late on a Thursday for 'fills' which actually needed to be a whole new set. They were very gracious, and did an excellent job. My regular salon is closed for a month, and I have to say, the folks at Elite did a better job. If they were closer, I would only go there!! Thanks for a great job. read more
