Poke nachos - little different than the last time I ordered them, but still very fresh and flavorful!
Amy D.

Honestly, this place always delights me with their very fresh grilled fish and seasonal choice of sides! Not to mention the incredible view over the marina and overlooking all downtown Seattle. Service was friendly and responsive to questions about menu items and substitutions. Highly recommend a stop!! Pro trip: they have validated parking. Call them to find out which garage to park in. We visited mid-summer during the busy time and found free curbside parking side parking right out front!

So we sat down. The plate waiting at my table was visibly dirty. I would expect a place that advertises itself as borderline fine dining would look at its dishes before setting them out? I got a mule mocktail and there was massive chunks of pickled ginger. Like the pink stuff they serve at sushi restaurants. Not what I imagined when they said ginger. We ordered an array of appetizers for our meal. The calamari was greasy and salty, not off to a great start. The mussels, clams, clam chowder, and ahi nachos were great though! So. Not all bad. But it was definitely not what I was expecting. And we eat a lot of really nice places. Things like not clearing the wine glasses from the table when we ordered wine. It was a whole lot of little things that made this a really not great experience. There are so many really great places practically next door that I just can't really recommend here.

I walked all the way to Anthony's Pier 66 on a Monday evening around 8 PM, planning to grab dinner since Maps showed it was open until 9. Unfortunately, when I arrived the entire place seemed closed -- chairs up on the tables -- even though the sign still indicated they were open. Pretty disappointing not to be able to try it after making the trip. The area is a bit hit-and-miss when it comes to walkability, wouldn't recommend at night and parking might be tricky depending on the time of day. That said, the location itself is beautiful -- it's right on the water, and the setting is great. I'll hopefully get to try the actual food next time, but this visit was a letdown.

Prices have almost DOUBLED since last year i'm sure due to tariffs The price on the menu here (their web page) have not been updated I'm guessing in years. We had a black cod which was $44. We had a duet which is now $59 and we had a tuna which was $58. These are all al cart and the cut of fish is not so large as you can see from the photos quite small I feel for the cost. You do get quite a bit of rice in the middle of dish covered with different sauces, mango or ginger or whatever it may be. I think for this prices point they should probably toss in a salad but a small Caesar salad is $14. If you'd like to add that to your dish for the price. We are talking about a piece of fish, not a Wagyu steak. Service was ok seams my waitress might have been behind with her tables. The view and the restaurant itself are beautiful.

Happy hr clam chowder

Went here for happy hour and made it in the last 15 mins. Our server was very accommodating and managed to ring everything up before the 6pm cut off. The drinks were inviting and the food was all decent. The clams were a hit. The dip was a bit too strong in the smoky chipotle flavor for me but I quite enjoyed the chowder. Happy hour only knocks off a couple bucks from each dish or drink but otherwise for a seafood spot on the pier it's a solid choice.

Came with a group of coworkers for a dinner here in a weekday. Our server was an older gentleman that was the sweetest. I took his recommendation and tried their seasonal berry margarita -- it was delish! We ordered some appetizers like calamari and the ahi tuna taro chips. I liked the ahi tuna that was part of the appetizer so I decided to order that for my main entree as well! If i could go back, I would probably order something else like the crab cakes. Overall just a mediocre experience here.

We swung in just to grab a drink. The view is amazing from inside Anthony's. The service was great! We had our drinks pretty quick. I had a nice hard cider and we watched the ships going by. Next time I hope to stop in at dinner and try the food. The ambiance was pretty relaxing!

Nice location, convenient parking, pretty view, okay food for the price. On a holiday Sunday night this place was not too crowded. In a way this restaurant reminds me of an older slightly dated fancy eatery you went to on very special occasions with your parents. I think the warm bread is one of the best parts of the meal. Steaks were priced over $50 and seafood priced over $40. We ordered steak, fish, soup, children's meal and calamari. Waitress seemed rushed. Possibly a little nervous? She took our order incorrectly because she misheard . She took our orders, someone else brought the food and then we didn't see her the rest of the evening until the end of meal with the check. This place has a nice view and it's pretty nice to meet with friends. The price point is too high for what you get. As for dress code, I think almost anything goes now.

Smallest fish and chips in the universe.

Are you seriously serious? These are the most microscopically small pieces of fish I've ever seen. As a Seattle local, and someone who's eaten a lot of fish n chips in the area, I can with all certainty say WHAT THE F**K. This is such a rip off I can't even believe it. I made a pact not to write any more bad reviews during and after Covid, because I wanted businesses to thrive. But this is robbery. Not okay. Plus, I tipped y'all 20% and asked for the takeout portion to be deconstructed cause it had to travel. Literally just had to put sauce in a cup and tortillas on top so I could reconstruct it all at home. I got none of that. The fries were fine. The fish batter was crisp. But the portions of fish are simply unacceptable when you're charging (before tax and tip) $30 for fish n chips and $22 for mahi mahi tacos. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves.

This seafood restaurant was highly recommended by a friend, so we made a reservation before arriving to Seattle, and got seated right away. The restaurant is right on the water with a bite of the Grand Wheel all lit up, and some boats in their slips. When you enter the building, there is Anthony's Bell Street Dinner (more casual, bigger menu, Lowe's prices), but we took the elevators up to the higher end Anthony's Pier 66. The restaurant was long and narrow with a line of high booths on one side and tables along the window on the other. If felt very closed in. We ordered cocktails. Hubby got a really strong mai tai, and I got my fave, an amaretto sour. We were served a bread basket with three kings of bread, and a butter dish decorated with a spring of thyme and a marigold. The menu was relatively small. There were good choices. The "small plates" were very appetizer-y, and I didn't want any of those, so even though I wasn't very hungry, I ordered the same thing as hubby. We ordered the King Salmon Duo. It was a half filet of king salmon (so delicious) and a half filet of halibut (good), served with mashed potatoes (mediocre), and green beans (delicious). With both of us having a huge lunch, neither of us finished the potatoes or green beans. Hubby managed to finish his fish, but I left with more than half of my meal boxed. I don't know that I would recommend it as a "must," but it was a nice meal with a lovely view.

Food: 10/10. The steak was delicious and soft, and the potatoes were good, and I know- don't judge me for not getting sea food! My bf's family ordered the seafood and they loved it! The clam chowder was good too! service: our server, a gentleman in his 60's, was funny and attentive! Thank you! Ambiance: really nice restaurant! I love the decor inside and the restrooms! Loved it!

I feel like this place used to be great and now it's just there....visiting Seattle for a concert, made reservations here (didn't need to) restaurant was not busy. We sat at the bar for the view but the bar was completely empty, lights off, staff just stopping in and out to grab drinks and left. Got our food and drinks never saw a server again. Had to flag someone down to get out bill. Food was mediocre for the cost. Definitely way better places in Seattle for a good meal.

Seattle Getting ready to head out on a 10 day cruise so why not start with seafood!! Enjoyed a beautiful Seattle day and sat out on the deck. We both had the Halibut Fish-n-Chips and they were perfect! Breading was just right on the fish and the fries were crispy on the outside and almost creamy on the inside...yum!! Enjoyed a tasty rhubarb drink and dessert - grew up eating rhubarb but now live where it doesn't grow so what a treat!! Great way to start our vacation!

I do wish there were a few more topping options for the oysters, but the quality itself was great. The outdoor seating was really nice, and the staff were pleasant and welcoming. To be honest, Half Shell and Mr. Fish next door feel very similar to me in terms of service, vibe, and food quality, so I almost think of them as companion spots. Both have that relaxed, fresh-seafood feel. Would I fight the terrible parking, traffic, and pedestrian congestion just to come here? Maybe, maybe not. If someone suggested it, I'd happily say yes, it's a lovely place for a casual seafood evening. But I probably wouldn't go far out of my way for it.

The total came out around $47, so thank god it also came with other stuff. Remember when lobster was considered peasant food?? This is perfect if you're craving a lobster roll and want to maximize your experience. I even shared it with a friend and it was filling enough for the both of us. You're asked if you want the rolls chilled or warm. Chilled is what they're most known for & for warm, they reheat the lobster again in butter, making it extra aromatic and buttery. Because it was quite chilly out, we went with warm. I'd recommend!

The chowder was chunky but a bit bland, my wife thought the potatoes were undercooked. I had the flight of rolls - shrimp, crab, and lobster - myself. I didn't realize they were served cold (should have read more reviews), and they each had just a sprinkle of seasoning. I think my wife stole all the seasoning in the bite she had, she said it was a little dill-y, and the only dill I tasted was the pickle (which was good). Also had the marionberry crème soda, which I need to find closer to home. Overall, 4.3 stars seems pretty generous...especially since when I walked out the door I was still ready to eat. One of the kids said "it was kind of mid." Now that I know what that means, I'd agree.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

I didn't find the pours I got to be particularly memorable. I had a Circuit breaker which was probably the best. Pomegranate sour was passable as was the Citra streaker, but none of them slapped. The place was swamped with people and while I understand the setting. for the number of staff running around here, the place was dirty. I'd think they'd have a couple of the servers come thought and sweep up and clean the tables. So my impressions of Old Stove is that it's a huge restaurant/brewery that tourists can come to as it's close to Pike Place and the pier, but as a result is slammed so bad that it looks a bit worse for the wear, or at least it was on my visit on a weekday evening.
