An unexpected local cafe that was pumping on the weekend. It was definitely packed, but we opted to sit outside where there were tables available. We would have preferred indoors since it was cold that day but we didn't want to wait. Our server, Brackus (I hope I spelt his name correctly) was very friendly and helpful. Always checking up on us to see that we were ok and giving us updates on our order. One of the best servers we've had when dining out. The Al pastor Benedict was recommended by Brackus. It definitely was one that hit the spot. We were able to swap over the potatoes over for hash instead which was fantastic as I always prefer hash browns over plain potatoes. It was full of flavour and made me very happy. The big easy scrambler, was decent but Al pastor definitely the highlight and standout of our foodventure. We got roped into getting an add on with the bourbon pancakes since it was only a few dollars extra as an addition to the scrambler. Yolo. The pancake was pretty good, and overall a surprisingly good brunch spot read more

New favorite spot! The line is long come early or pre check yourself in on their website- you can expect to wait at least an hour - but it is absolutely worth it! Tried the Lobster Omelet and OMG! So nice, we did it twice. We went to both the Winter Park and Orlando location. The menu is extensive and changes seasonally. The servers were very warm and attentive. They seem very festive as well. Atmosphere in both is very cute but the Orlando location is more spacious. We went on a weekend to the Winter Park location, and in true brunch fashion it is packed! The good part is you can make your reservation through Yelp. I enjoyed my pecan praline french toast, but it does cool quickly and dry out. Just eat fast! It comes with sides, so that is a plus for sweet and savory. Also, the pepper sauce is a sweet heat, that was great on my eggs. The second time I tried an omelet and it did not disappoint either. I will definitely keep this as a breakfast go to. read more

Disappointed, having been to others locations I've always enjoyed my service and food. Today may have been just an off day for the staff. Most seemed unhappy. I requested to sit outside and after 5 minutes no one came to my table. I stepped inside to inquire and again my interaction with the employee seemed like I was a bother. The highlight was Lila my server who did a great job. Ordered eggs Benedict and the first served were overcooked. Lila immediately had a new one prepared for me but this time potatoes were burnt. The hollandaise sauce was white and had zero flavor. Lila was kind enough to bring me lemons that I requested to try and brighten up the flavor. Overall I would not recommend. Maybe the Lake Mary location? I have had a better experience there. read more

Recent visit was consistently good and accommodating as previous. Food : Godiva pancake, blackened mahi with potatoes, crab omelette, fresh fruit . Drinks: orange and grapefruit juice. Oh yeah and a side of beignets with orange marmalade. Great breakfast except one star off for bringing strawberries in the fresh fruits mix twice for my wife. Thankfully I investigated the mix before she ate it. Kindly pay attention before someone gets hurt. Thanks again for having us. P.s outside seating makes this spot much more delicious. read more

Solid breakfast spot! I've come to multiple Another Broken Egg Cafés and it is a solid chain breakfast location. The cocktails are solid, and they have pitchers which are great for groups! The food is hearty, with a lot of variety of savory and sweet options. My one complaint is the coffee is pricey and sometimes too strong. A cup of coffee was $4. At least we got refills! read more

Finally got to try Another Broken Egg (ABE). The vibes, wait times and decor are on par with First Watch. But that's where the similarities stop, the menu at ABE leans into the opulence of breakfast versus the healthy-leaning eats at First Watch. Plus, there is nice collection of boozy drinks. My food was ok. Slightly above average but not memorable. I ordered one of the specials, braised short ribs served over cheesy grits. Can't remember whether it was Gouda or Manchego, but that's immaterial because the taste of cheese was largely absent. Other items in the menu look promising so I'll have to come back and taste those. I felt bad for our server because she seemed very frazzled and it looked like she was handling too many tables at once. One could tell she was trying to keep up but there was a noticeable gap in service. read more

This is must have when in Orlando!! Starting with the lemon blueberry mimosas which were delicious and strong! Highly recommend! Appetizer: Biscuit Beignets were very tasty and made to perfection! The powdered, slightly crisp outside and soft biscuit inside has a twist in the traditional New Orleans Beignets! Served with a orange jam which was tasteful and fresh brought it all together. I ordered the French toast Strawberry poundcake, which was actually pound cake delicious and sweet!! I have never had French toast in this way and it was a pleasure to have!! On the side it was served with scrambled eggs and chicken sausage. I would highly recommend this for breakfast, brunch or lunch while in Orlando. read more

I cannot express how much I adore this place. First of all, they have Gluten Sensitive options for pancakes!! YEASSSS. I love me some pancakes. I always order two eggs with home fries and pancakes and they never fail to please. I get the Lemon Blueberry option for the pancakes and they are just perfection. I love the flavors, and the goat cheese just takes it to the next level **chef's kiss** This is one of my go-to spots. We get in a virtual line and by the time we get there it is only a minute or two until we are seated :) read more

I've just eaten at Another Broken Egg Cafe for the third and final time. I'd legit rather eat at McDonalds than this slow, underwhelming, over-cheesed, under-flavored joint. The first time I ate here, my pancakes came out cold. Okay, fine. Everyone has a bad day. The second time, I ordered an omelet. This also came out cold and...I'm not sh*tting you here...the thing was like 40% melted cheese which had hardened to nearly being a crust. On top of the cold, cheesy, and unappetizing food, service was slow and negligent (even on a slow Thursday morning). Now this third and final time, there's a caveat. I ordered delivery through Uber Eats. However, when my food (a scramble with potatoes & English muffin) shows up...I have a spoonful of potatoes, no English muffin, and I'd hazard a guess to say my scramble was an astounding 65% cheese. It was also cold, gluey, and greasy. My wife's pancakes were fine, but missing half of the toppings we paid for. The food here is so unappetizing and mediocre and yet they charge nearly $20 a plate. The value does not show up in the meal, however, though I imagine real estate in Winter Park Village is pricey. This place will continue being successful despite the absolutely mediocre food and poor service, which is a shame. If you're comfortable paying this much money for a mediocre breakfast/brunch, more power to you. I just paid $65 for food I threw into the garbage (where Another Broken Egg's food truly belongs, imho). Lesson learned. read more

Might I say this was an egg-cellent place to have breakfast on a Saturday morning? Food: I ordered the huevos rancheros with a side of cheesy grits. The texture of the grits was on point as was the crunchy/chewy texture of the huevos rancheros. I can really eat but after this meal, I was stuffed until dinner. Service: We were seated quickly and our server was very friendly. She continuously checked on us and was knowledgeable about the menu. Another table of guests appeared to be celebrating a birthday when a balloon escaped and got stuck on the ceiling. It wasn't the end of the world but the staff was able to fetch the balloon for the guest and everyone in the outside dining area clapped for a job well done by the staff. Ambiance: The restaurant was as busy as could be expected for a Saturday morning but everyone seemed to be having a great time: guests, servers, hosts, etc. The bathroom was in good condition and the restaurant was clean. read more

We've eaten here one other time. Both times were pretty busy. We had the unfortunate mistake reserving online at the wrong location, but the host let us know she would hold our spot in line til we got there from across town. When we arrived, we promptly checked in and waited another 20 minutes or so. We got in just in time before closing. Besides, having breakfast in the afternoon is such a treat from time to time. The meal I ordered was the Salmon Benedict with a side of City Grits. I've got to say that was a good decision on my part. If you read other reviews of mine, I love smoked salmon. This dish had a toasted bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese, topped of with two poached eggs that, when cracked, would spill over the actual dish itself. Pretty good combination of flavors I might add. The City Grits was pretty good as well. This was the only version of Gouda infused grits that was fluffy almost, like it was whipped by hand. Very tasty. Over all, 5 stars for such delicious food. We will be back for more.... read more

The service was slow, we waited a long time for our meal, but it was Black Friday and busy so I'll give them a pass. But the food? It was good, really good. The eggs were perfectly poached, hash browns were crispy and the lobster was tender. The grits, they were a side but I could eat a bowl of them. Perfectly creamy and flavorful without being over the top. My husband ordered a sausage and Swiss omelette which they substituted with Brie, it was good but not as good as my meal read more

Three stars for an intriguing menu but overpriced and not worth the hype. They have an interesting Southern/New Orleans take on brunch classics. The menu definitely has plenty of creative dishes to choose from, but the descriptions are better than the actual food (maybe it's just what I ordered didn't deliver?) I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict, which had a bagel instead of an English muffin, whipped cream cheese, capers, onions, smoked salmon, and a poached egg. No hollandaise sauce for this. It came with a choice of regular grits or potatoes. You could also do fruit or their special city grits for an upcharge. I ordered the fruit since I was trying to be healthy, but I got to taste the city grits and they were the best part of the meal. They come with bacon, chives, tomatoes, and Gouda cheese. Just heavenly. The Benedict itself was just ok. The bagel was kind of soggy and needed to be toasted more. There was barely any cream cheese or smoked salmon on it, so not every bite had stuff to it. The fruit was good but not worth the $2.50 upcharge. That seems like a high price just to be able to substitute a healthy alternative. Why can't something healthy be an option to begin with? I just thought for the price and what you got it needed more. More stuff overall to make my Benedict a complete meal. I did like the mimosas. They had a few interesting flavor options to choose from, but there again one single mimosa was $8, which I thought for the size was a bit steep. The coffee was lukewarm, and when asked for another one, the new one came out lukewarm as well. At least the service was pretty good, and the server was kind enough to take the coffee off our bill since we didn't drink it. All in all it was a good breakfast but nothing memorable and not a place I'll probably be back to. read more

This was my first time coming to another broken egg cafe. I had passed it up several times looking for breakfast . It would come up in my yelp search. I would scroll by saying stuff like that place its too packed or to busy all the time(but there is a reason why lol). Let me tell you i was wrong. It wasnt to busy, and it would of been worth the wait. We had a really good server he took care of everything. Kept my girl friends coffee and my water full until our food arrived. I orded the Supreme omelet it had sausage, bacon, mushroom and cheddar cheese. It came with a one side. Your chose of potatoes or girts , see as how im always on the look out for good grits . I got the girts. we also got a side of susage and pancakes. The omelet was thick and Hardy but delicious. I couldn't finish the food.the portions where pretty big. i think we both left with to go boxes lol. They have a few stlyes of grits here i went with the regular ones and i have to admit they are better than most. I wasnt a fan of the susage patties, but the pancakes were really good. I left full and satisfied. Would grab breakfast here again anytime even if it is a littles busy.its would be worth it. read more

Their "breakfast" drink menu was extensive and it was hard to choose, but we tried some of the different mimosas. I got the lobster and Brie omelette which was good but had so much cheese and cream that eventually I got a bit sick of it. The grits were good though and the carrot cake pancakes were yummy. My partner got some chicken omelette- can't remember which - and it didn't have a lot of chicken. The server and manager both felt awful and brought him more chicken. We were stuffed by the time we left, and tipsy for sure. Would definitely go back to try other food items and drinks. read more

Met up with the girls for Sunday breakfast. This was my second or third visit to Another Broken Egg. I'm not usually one for chains, but I'm a believer in Another Broken Egg. So so good!! They have a pretty balanced menu with everything from traditional and sweet waffles, pancakes and french toast to specialty omelettes to quinao bowls and avocado toast. This time around I went with the corned beef and brussel hash special. Fresh corned beef with a bed of seasoned potatoes and tomatoes along with a poached egg on top....heaven! I also got a taste of the croissant french toast, YUM!! Whoever thought to make french toast out of delicious croissants and top it with chocolate sauce is genius!! Warning for all my southerners, they cook their grits with milk! I was a little hesitant to try them, but I took a spoonful, and they weren't that bad. Can't say I'll be rushing to get an order, but I'll just say they weren't as bad as I thought they would be. Either way, I won't hold it against them. Another Broken Egg gets an A-rating from me; no doubt I'll be back with more friends! read more

This is the worst service i have had in years. The blonde behind the bar was cold and unfriendly. My coffe was cold i asked grape jelly and they gave me jam.with attitude. I ve been coming for a log time . It seems the negativity from the staff is spreading. It only takes one bad apple. Seems you need a manager on the floor. I would mot recommend anyone sit at the bar to receive cold coffee and cold grits and then give a attitude when you ask for jelly. My sliced tomatoes looked grey. I am a professional who is retired from a people oriented job. That whole bar staff should be fired. Im so upset. It's not about the food bit about the treatment. I will tell all my friends about this. The blonde needs a anger management class! I was afraid to ask for anything. read more

Love this place and the service. I always have a great experience when I come here for brunch. Only negative is that they're always swamped. A group of 4 of us stopped in Sunday around 10:30am (hoping to beat the crowd) - boy were we wrong! The wait was around 45 minutes. No huge issue for our group though, we chatted and waited outside since it was a lovely day. When I walked inside, I immediately was confused on how tables were laid out. Tables seemed to be smooshed together leaving lots of walking room on either side. The seating area was also smaller than I expected. We were seated in a booth... which was NOT roomy. The four of us SQUEEZED in the booth with not much breathing room. We made it work though because we were hungry! Our waitress was wonderful. She was attentive, friendly, helpful, and patient. She came by multiple times to check on us. It was our first time visiting Another Broken Egg - and she informed us that every first timer gets an order of beignets. Great! Because we were eyeing those from the minute we sat down. The menu. Wow. Lots of options to choose from here. Sweet and savory and everything in between. It's a Louisiana inspired menu - so lots of crab, lobster, shrimp n grits, beignets (you get the point) options to choose from. I decided to go with something savory - 'The Floridian Omelette'. It was delicious. I was STUFFED! Their drink menu is also quite extensive (which I appreciated). Overall, food was delicious and options were plentiful for a chain restaurant. The long wait (which is to be expected for Sunday brunch in WP) for the small booth was the only downside. read more

Despite being a chain, this is one of this those places that I have yet to be disappointed in. Old reliable for sure.....even though that I've tried new things every visit. The Winter Park location is generally busy, but I've still not ever had to wait a significant amount off time. This time....Sunrise Spinach Scrambler.....this consists of spinach, jack cheese, bacon, onion wrapped up in scrambled eggs....what's clear is that the chefs that create these dishes are thinking about flavor and how they worked together......this dish works fantastically! Those flavors Indy visual.....Ok, sounds good; together......excellent! The dish had a side of home fries (tasty and cooked well) and an English muffin. Service at this place has generally been friendly.....this visit was no exception. My wife had the French toast and my son had the chicken and waffles, they both enjoyed their meals as well. If you've not been (or I if you have for that matter) it is worth a try....good stuff here! read more

I have been looking forward to trying this place for the past few weeks. My wife and I decided we wanted breakfast and to finally try this place. It was busy when we arrived so our wait was about 45 mins which was fine, even though we saw people arrive after us get seated before and yes we said either inside or outside, whatever became available first. 45 mins pass and we finally get seated. We sat there for another 15 mins without a single server looking our way, acknowledging us, or even bringing water whilst we watched other tables get seated behind us get service. We finally looked at each other, got up, and left. My wife and I both worked in the industry so it was a deeply disappointing experience for something I was very excited to try. read more
