I was unable to make a reservation for this night, but walked in and was seated at the bar immediately. There are two hostess stands at this location. The first stand is at the door next to the Valet Parking stand and is for confirmed reservation seating. You are directed to walk further down the hallway towards the bar area for another separate hostess stand for walk-ins. We were seated at a nice two-top table close to the brewery room. (Note: we noticed a separate table inside the brewery which appeared to accommodate a small group and most likely requires a reservation to be seated there.) Kelly was our server and she was efficient, fun and very knowledgeable of the menu. She answered all of our questions, including explaining the ingredients of some of our selections. Our drink selections consisted of the frozen Getaway Car (vodka, sour cherry and maraschino liqueur) and the Woe Is Me martini (herb-infused Grey Goose with a pickled cherry tomato). The tomato made this martini stand out! The presentation of both drinks was memorable as was the taste of each. For our appetizers, we shared the Gatherer Salad (a zesty combination of baby greens, avocado, pickled beets, radish, goat, cheese and walnut granola with a herb vinaigrette dressing-outstanding!) and the Mushroom and Gruyère Beignets, set off by the pecorino cheese and the truffle aioli sauce. We easily could've had a second round of the beignets, but decided to go ahead and order our second course. For the second course, we shared the Pan Seared Redfish with summer vegetables, and the Steak Frites. The fish was delicate, light and the fennel broth made this dish a winner. The Steak Frites consisted of rubbed prime flat iron steak, garlic aïoli and bordelaise sauce-SO GOOD! The truffle fries were plentiful and, when combined with the sauce, resulted in a perfect accompaniment to this meal. For the final course, we shared the Black Forest Cake and the Peaches & Cream (caramelized puff pastry with peach jam, and mascarpone custard). Both desserts were the explanation points of the evening. At the end of the night, we told Kelly that we loved the combination of the "naughty and nice" pairings for this magical dining experience. (For example, the beignets and the salad, plus the redfish and the steak, allow you to both eat healthy and eat decadent.) A final shout out to the General Manager, Scott, who gave me an excellent tour of the outside beer garden (not occupied due to the rain that evening) and the major beer brewery facility next to it. TV screens are available in the garden, and would be an excellent party place for watching football this Fall. I think I have my next visit to The Ravenous Pig planned in the coming weeks. Our waiter Billy was excellent. We were a group of 5 having a girl's dinner. He was great at answering all our questions and recommending certain items to us. We all chose from the magical dinning menu, what a deal! We all ordered different things and they were all excellent. The gatherer salad and the beignets were our favorites for the appetizers. For the entrees; The Red fish was so delicious, but I also tried a piece of the steak frites and that was fantastic as well. The Steak was super tender. That house made pasta linguine with shrimp was incredible as well. The black forest cake dessert was really good. I like that it wasn't too sweet. I love that they continuously update their menu in accordance to what is seasonal. The only critique I have is that when we first arrived, they had trouble finding our reservation. I had to pull up the email confirmation (Which I did confirm) A confirmation that they had actually sent me the previous day. The hostess lady seemed annoyed and asked us to sit and wait while they got a table ready. We waited around 15 minutes. No big deal, but a little nerve wracking when she said: "I don't see your name here." It's a good thing I kept that email confirmation. I'm actually really looking forward to coming back and trying other things from their menu, as well as their house-brewed beer.

Nothing to truly brag home about. Nonetheless, despite it being just okay, I'd visit this restaurant again. For Magical Dining, I started with the Caesar Salad, which was baby gem lettuce with sourdough croutons, Caesar dressing, parmesan crisps, and a grilled lemon. The salad itself was okay. I've definitely had nicer Caesar salads, but overall, it did the job. I followed it up with the Butcher's Cut at medium-well (this probably the highlight of my Magical Dining experience), and then capped my dining experience with the Southern Orchard Crunch, which included caramelized peaches, graham cracker mousse, chantilly cream, pralines, vanilla wafer crumble, and mini marshmallows. Sadly, I did not like the Southern Orchard Crunch at all. I wish I had ordered the Vanilla Orange Crème Brûlée. I paired my meal with one of their cocktail staples: The Hibiscus Martini. Their Hibiscus Martini included the following ingredients: Cathead honeysuckle vodka, hibiscus St. Germain, Munyons Pawpaw Florida liqueur, hibiscus syrup, lemon, and was topped with a citrus cloud. It was a lovely, light, and refreshing cocktail. All in all, I was not super impressed with any one thing on their menu. The highlight was definitely the Butcher's Cut and the Hibiscus Martini if I had to choose. Otherwise, I'd be curious to dine outside of their Magical Dining menu. As I mentioned, I'd still visit again, and I would try more of their menu that was not featured on their Magical Dining menu (which is under the $40.00 menu option). As for general stuff, the staff was kind and very attentive. The bartender was amazing! Parking in Winter Park is always a chore to me - especially with all the construction zones on Park Ave. There is ample seating indoors as well as seating outdoors for Boca. There is also ample bar seating. The restaurant has a nice feel to it, and it is usually always fairly busy - which is always a good sign.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Winter Park, and I must say, it was an unforgettable brunch experience that left my taste buds dancing with delight. The highlight of my visit was the Hash Brown Benedict paired with a Salted Caramel Cold Brew mixed with Kahlua, a combination that proved to be a match made in culinary heaven. Let's start with the Hash Brown Benedict. This dish was a masterpiece of flavors and textures. The perfectly crispy hash browns served as a base for the poached eggs and creamy hollandaise sauce, creating a harmonious contrast between the crunchiness of the hash browns and the silkiness of the sauce. The eggs were poached to perfection, with velvety yolks that oozed deliciously when cut into. The addition of crispy bacon and fresh chives added a delightful savory element to each bite. It was a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. To complement this fantastic dish, I decided to try the Salted Caramel Cold Brew mixed with Kahlua. This cold brew concoction was a revelation. The rich and bold coffee flavor was beautifully balanced by the sweet and slightly salty notes of salted caramel. The addition of Kahlua provided a subtle yet indulgent coffee liqueur kick that elevated the drink to a whole new level of deliciousness. It was the perfect companion to my meal, offering a refreshing and caffeinated counterpoint to the savory Hash Brown Benedict. The ambiance of Another Broken Egg Cafe was also a pleasant surprise. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with friendly and attentive staff, made for a truly enjoyable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a relaxing brunch spot or a place to catch up with friends, this cafe ticks all the boxes. In conclusion, my visit to Another Broken Egg Cafe in Winter Park was nothing short of extraordinary. The Hash Brown Benedict was a culinary masterpiece, and the Salted Caramel Cold Brew mixed with Kahlua was the perfect beverage pairing. The smoked salmon, a highlight of the dish, brought a delightful smokiness that complemented the overall flavor profile. The rest of the meal was decent, but nothing that really stood out. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant visit. My only real complaint was that the restaurant could have been a little cleaner. It wasn't anything major, but it was noticeable enough to take away from the overall experience. Not a bad place for breakfast, but I think there's room for improvement.

While the chicken was a little over cooked, the flavor was great and the rice and beans were cooked really well! The burger was cooked and seasoned well, and The Buttermilk Chicken waffle was good as well. We were quickly seated, our orders were correct, and we were provided complimentary mimosas, so that was cool! Atmosphere- 5/5 It's a beautiful restaurant and location. The decor is very nice and the large glass walls provide a lot of natural lighting. NOTE: The parking lot is small, so consider steet parking. Value- 4/5 It's a good value. Some dishes are a little more expensive than expected, but overall, I'd recommend you checking out Black Coffee Café Negro. Opportunities for Learning- 5/5 Many opportunities to learn! I was googling! A lot of dishes are in Spanish and highlight Puerto Rican culture, so that was awesome. Also, the name of the restaurant ius cool and has a cool origin story.

We went with the Black Coffee Smash Burger, Chicken and Waffles, and Arroz Mamposteao. The chicken was fried and topped with a cheese over a freshly made waffle, that had powered sugar. The chicken was a breast, and was overpriced, and the waffle was cooked nicely. The Arroz Mamposteao dish was a delicious surprise with the beans, rice, and plantains mixed together. The dish typically comes with a churrasco steak but we subbed for the chicken, and it was seasoned well, yet dry. I'd come back to try it with the steak next time. The Black Coffee Smash Burger was a pleasant surprise with how sauced it was with the pickles, onions and cheese. The bun was toasted toasted too! I would come back to try more of the breakfast items along with some coffee.

The inside always looks cleaned up nicely. It is well lit and doesn't have a weird smell thank goodness. It is one of those breakfast spots that a lot of elderly go to because it's convenient and the prices are good. You get a lot of food for a great price. We like to come here every once in a while. The kids get cookies with their meals and we are full at the end of it. To me, it's a good deal. Their pancakes specifically are a bit greasy for me but they have pretty good soup and salad. Also good sandwiches. Their breakfast platters can be good but as I mentioned, very heavy on the tummy.

I don't know what is in their "signature batter" but it is yummy! They always give you the biggest pot of coffee which is a gift and a curse, am I right?? Always a solid breakfast spot to go to. Not sure about lunch or dinner because I honestly only come here for breakfast!

My brother got the seasonal coffee and it was a tad too sweet. I got the hash which is always a good choice, and they had a seasonal one that featured steak which was quite lovely. I have a complicated relationship with First Watch…read more It's kind of like that actor who's been incredible in some movies and absolutely unbearable in others. I've had experiences at certain First Watch franchise locations that left me questioning not only the meal, but several of my life choices leading up to it. So when I walked into this location in the Fern Park/Casselberry (Altamonte Springs) area, I'll admit it... I came in cautiously optimistic at best. Thankfully, this visit reminded me why the chain became popular in the first place. Right away, the staff stood out for being personable and genuinely pleasant. Not the robotic "corporate friendly" where someone smiles while dead behind the eyes. Actual warm, attentive service that made the place feel welcoming. And here's something restaurant owners should probably frame on the wall because it's becoming weirdly rare these days: the food was cooked correctly and served hot. Hot. As in actually warm when it hit the table and not sitting under a heat lamp long enough to qualify for Social Security. I ordered the omelette, and it absolutely hit the spot. Comfort food done properly. Fluffy, flavorful, filling, and exactly what I wanted breakfast to be. My daughter ordered the steak and egg hash, and visually... let's just say this isn't a dish entering any beauty pageants. It kind of arrives looking like breakfast got into a small argument with itself. But one bite in and none of that mattered. It was rich, hearty, luscious, and cooked just right. The kind of dish where every bite feels indulgent enough that you briefly stop caring about cholesterol or responsibility. This location honestly felt dialed in. The kitchen was on point, the service was strong, and the overall experience reminded me that consistency is what separates a good restaurant visit from a forgettable one. Because of my mixed history with First Watch overall, I can't quite bring myself to throw five stars into the air like confetti... but this particular location absolutely earned four stars and deserves credit for getting it right.
