Needed a place near the airport for an early lunch/late breakfast so we stopped here. We are so glad we did! It was a 30 min wait but they come around offering a mimosa (in fun to-go bag) while you wait. The food was fabulous and the service was great. The owner stopped by for a chat and was just a gem. Food was out of this world good, bright clean atmosphere and very good service. We tried the drinks for brunch and cold brew coffee. Their sweet biscuit app was very tender and light. The food is good when it's right. I've been twice in a row now that they've completely messed my order up. The first time I was told AFTER they brought the food out and I got a quarter of the dish that well, it's because they're running out of food. Why did they not say something beforehand? Today they brought the wrong food out. I sent it back after apologizing for the inconvenience. Waited 40 minutes while everyone else ate. Waitress never came and refilled our drinks the entire time. Finally got my food after everyone else was done and it still wasn't right. The owner came around and asked how the experience was and after telling him, I got... 1 free entree NEXT time I come in and 4 punches on a loyalty card for 13.99 off after 5 more visits. Hilarious. Wanted to try this spot out because the spot downtown was amazing! This spot was a bummer for me though. Atmosphere is definitely different from downtown, more of a diner feel. The food was good. The mimosa was not like the one downtown. Our waitress was training with someone, they basically just came to get the order and drop the orders, didn't check up on us like they did other tables. Even the tables that came after they checked up on and they were sitting right next to us. Then we had to wait like 10 minutes to pay and get a box so we just had to walk up to the host and ask because they were nowhere to be found. They came and dropped off the ticket and we had to wait again just to give them the card. Food was good but just the experience was a bit frustrating. I understand being busy but you have two people working together and they did go ask how other tables were doing right next to us and forgot about us. And they didn't even bring out everything, granted it was just 2 sides of grits, still. The place was clean and food was good so I think 3 stars is fair. read more

I don't like my breakfast breads to touch liquid or otherwise become soggy. I included my "soggy irk" when I explained my request to the attendant. I asked, "can they put it ALL on the side?" and she replied, "no problem!" Well. Problem. I was reluctant to send my order back because it took 35 minutes the first time. So I scraped ALL the stuff to the side and made do. If I ever return I'll think twice about ordering a breakfast bread. Perhaps an omelet is a safer bet. But HOLD the toast!!! read more

I attempted to have breakfast at this location on 6/18/2022 with my spouse. We were told that there was a 15-20 minute wait in a restaurant that was half empty. We complied thinking we are still in the midst of COVID-19. Well 10 minutes into our wait another couple arrived and was immediately seated. I asked the greeter if the other couple was previously on a waitlist and she answered "No, I didn't even ask their name." 6 of us went to another broken egg for brunch and got sat as soon as we walked in witch is always nice! We all ordered coffee and it was delicious. All the breakfast food came out really good however the hamburger my cousin got was very dry. My veggies omelet was probably the best omelet I have ever gotten! Went here for a hangover breakfast and was very pleased. Very friendly staff and the food was really good. I had a bloody Mary that was simply perfect in flavor but it was over garnished. It had picked okra, olives, pickle, celery and a piece of cold cooked bacon. As for food, I had the classic eggs Benedict. This was my second visit and the food does not disappoint!! The first time I had the shrimp and grits. The flavor was great with a little kick. The crab cake and fried green tomatoes was a good choice as well. The second visit I had the Southern Scrabble and it was delicious as well. Also try the "City grits" they don't disappoint. I went to the outlets this morning on a whim, being a Savannah local and a foodie I was excited to try a nearby cafe with good reviews/ratings. Once we arrived we saw the place packed for a Friday morning breakfast so that tells me the Pooler locals know about this place. But let me tell you, this place easily the best spot for breakfast/brunch in all of Savannah area, it is absolutely worth the drive. From the sever, bartender, cooks, atmosphere, you couldn't ask for better. The menu was extremely refreshing and each menu item sounded spectacular. Been here a number of times and always been happy with the service and food, today both were lacking. First instead of been shown to our table by the hostess we were pointed to it. We had to send back both of our meals, one for getting the order incorrect, the second for being stone cold by the time it reached the table. That second one being the carnitas Benedict which looked extremely unappetizing and tasted the same. I'm sure I'll come back here again since it either this, metro diner, or IHOP in Pooler.
