    Biscuits and gravy

This little locally owned cafe was a great place to start the morning. The inside is bright colorful and cheery and there are a lot of positive messages everywhere. It creates a real positive atmosphere. We decided to stop by after the grand opening of books a million and they were giving out free donuts from this cafe. The donuts are great. They remind me of Krispy Kreme crullers you would find in the store. They are light but also dense and full of flavor. They have all kinds of toppings from a nice sweet icing to fruity pebbles and smores, Oreos and butterfingers and more. We also got the biscuits and gravy and waffle pops. Everything was delicious. The Service is super fast too. The boba tea was ok, I got a regular milk tea but it's just ok. I was spoiled with really good boba tea overseas and nothing here really compares. Wife says the iced chai tea however was fantastic. She is super picky about her chai tea too. The bathroom is an absolute delight. Even if you don't use it, swing in to wash your hands and admire the decor and maybe grab a positive message. One thing I want to point out is that they have paid meals taped to the wall. If you are in need of food you can swing by and cash in one of these free meals that have been paid for already no questions asked. This is a wonderful idea that more businesses should pick up. Helping those in need is something we could all do a little more of. 5 stars.

The service was friendly and helpful!!! Very eccentric decor. Coffee was great and hot. Donuts were a heavy almost cornbread texture but good! Most of them in the case looked too pretty to eat. Indoor and outdoor seating. These ladies are great go check them out!!!!

Loved everything about this place and looking forward to making it a monthly regular!…read more Service was awesome and very attentive but not over the top. The hostess was a doll and told us she was so excited for us to try the food since it was our first time in. She didn't lie, it was great!! The interior gives calming "high tea" vibes but also very chill and the outside dining reminds you the little slice of paradise that Beaufort is. It has no flavor aside from cinnamon. It was just hot milk & cinnamon. I added a little sugar & it helped. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich & soup of the day for my entree. I unfortunately sent it back, due to not enjoying the taste. I was excited about the soup because I was told it had chickpeas. They were not cooked properly; chickpeas typically are best a day later, although I didn't see the chickpeas.. it seems like it had lentils that weren't soaked long enough? Unsure, regardless I was not a fan. I decided to still eat here & ordered the pecan crusted grilled chicken salad. Absolutely DELICIOUS! It was such a fresh & tasty salad. If coming here I would highly recommend this! I would not recommend any of the pastries. The apple danish was slightly underbaked. I know with wet apples, the bottom can sometimes not cook all the way, so at least this one would be a no. Flavor was ok, but texture was off. I also order muffin with carrots, raisins and I believe cinnamon. I do not recommend this either. It was too heavy & not cooked well enough. Because of everything in it, it was still a little too wet. The top of it was too heavy in cinnamon, as well. Overall, if on the hunt for a salad please try this place. Otherwise, not the first choice.

Coast Roast had it all! We both had Irish Cream syrup, and it was the perfect latte. Just enough milk with great bean flavor and great syrup addition. They had many breakfast items, and we were able to enjoy breakfast together. It is also so cute inside. Don't let the May 2026 construction on the road keep you from stopping in! I highly recommend!

We found parking right on Paris Ave (perfect spot to start our journey) but as we got out of the truck, we noticed Harbour Village with a true throwback vibe (as soon as I noticed the huge vintage gas station sign)... and there at the side of the road was Corner Perk. The place is so enticing on the outside (white and red building with open deck with plenty of seating)... we decided to check it out and the inside was just as pleasant. Lots of wood trim and colorful accents and the girls that welcomed us in were "perky" (no pun intended). My wife got a LAVENDER HONEY LATTE and I got a CHURRO LATTE. We noticed they had lots of breakfast options (omelettes, quiche, skillets, breakfast burritos, baked goodies and more). We didn't get any but we were tempted. We sat outside and enjoyed out coffees; my wife loved her latte and my Churro was sweet and delicious... and off we went for our hike thru the Cypress Wetlands. Afterward, I reminded my wife how good some of the bakery stuff looked so we ventured back in for round two... This time I had an Iced Cold Brew (can't recall if any special flavor) and we also got a couple items to snack on.... we shared a over the top, super rick BROWNIE and we also got a slice of BANANA BREAD (both were excellent).

The rice was cooked to perfection, while the chicken was flavorful but a bit too crunchy for me. Grilled chicken may have been a better choice. My wife enjoyed the chili dog and pasta salad. She found the pasta salad to be quite good, but she admitted that she's had better chili dogs. Considering we're from Cincinnati, where chili dogs are a staple, we're biased. The ambiance of the restaurant was charming, but it became quite noisy during the lunch hour. The service was exceptional. Multiple waitresses were attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed and that our dining experience was enjoyable. The bill was paid smoothly at the counter, making the overall dining experience hassle-free. Based on the outstanding service, I would rate this restaurant four stars. However, I must admit that the food didn't quite meet our expectations for the price.

We tried their order churro shake made with cookies and cream ice cream order churro and all the fixings along with a big chocolate chip M&M cookie sandwich stuffed with ice cream goodness desserts were amazing. The service was better some staff members were very friendly with smilles, but note to business owner Leon; Your staff should always greet the customers when there enter your businees which is very important for acknowledgement . We will be back for another try to see if our review was acknowledged. The food was worth the visi with big portions and you will leave with a doggie bag. Save room for the dessert menu.

I arrived at Biggby just before 6am and settled in for a solid two hours, staying warm, enjoying my coffee, and catching up on writing Yelp reviews. It was the kind of slow, steady start that makes the rest of the day feel more manageable. The baristas were a lively bunch, moving with that early‑morning energy that keeps a place humming. They did a great job keeping the coffee flowing as customers cycled through. The drive‑through never seemed to pause for more than a moment, and every so often a few people wandered inside to warm up and grab their drinks. All in all, it was a very pleasant morning, the sort of stop that makes an early start worthwhile. I will happily return to Biggby for their consistently great coffee. We were informed there's no pancakes and no waffles. Strike 1. We ordered the crab cake bene, the original shrimp and grits and the French toast with scramble. The French toast was fine. Nothing special. The scramble however was a complete joke. They clearly have a vat of their "side eggs" just ready for the scoopin. They were cold and oh so dry. My sister's crab cake entree was absolutely disgusting. The crab cake was orange on the inside, it was mushy and no discernible taste of crab whatsoever. It looked like a dark brown salmon patty my mama would make with a Double Q. The shrimp and grits. Wow and not in a good way. 50 percent of the bowl was onions. Both raw (and almost raw) onions and green onions. There were FOUR shrimp that were absolutely TINY (about the size of a Wild West shrimp from Longhorn) and they had the poop STILL IN THEM. Did I mention that this cost us ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS!?!?!? I want to stress again.... Our server was great. I always feel guilty writing bad reviews but I just had to be honest. Yelp ya steered us the wrong way on this one.
