My DD got a sweet waffle and it was delicious. Her bacon was undercooked but she was full. Ash's didn't ask for it to be replaced. Our friend got crab cakes Benedict but said they weren't as good as the ones in Louisiana. I got a chicken and gravy biscuit with grits. It was okay but huge. The grits were done well but I couldn't finish even half of them. The coffee was hot which I appreciated. Our server was very nice and attentive. It's a cute place and was comfortable. Took about 45 mins to get a seat however the rush seemed to have died down after we were seated. We tried the biscuit beignets which to me were pretty good however not as soft as others I have tried in the past like Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans which is known for their beignets, these were a little bit more harder but tasted pretty good especially when paired with the side of honey marmalade it came with. I had the shrimp and grits which also has pieces of slice sausage which I enjoyed. My wife had the cinnamon French toast which was way too sweet as it's made on an actual cinnamon roll. There also wasn't really any thing special about this cinnamon French toast as it tasted just like a cinnamon roll any establishment. We truly enjoyed our breakfast experience here! The hostess was kind and sat us down right away. Our waitress, Alexis, was attentive and kind! She offered us beignets because it was our first time there. We ordered herbal teas and our teas were served in cute mugs. We ordered our food and noticed that the place was getting very busy. Tried this for breakfast while visiting Savnnah Ga mainly because it was dog friendly and convenient to our Hotel. First time customers receive a complimentary type of deep fried donut. I wish I could really give this place 3.5 stars, but I will err on the side of overall fairness and call it a shaky-4 star experience... As far as the food is concerned, it is a solid-5 - from the ingredients, to the menu choices, to the meal presentation, and to the meal itself - absolutely awesome. Our party has the selections of their Banana Bread French Toast, to the Southwestern Omlette, to the pork ribs breakfast, it was all prepared so deliciously. Their mimosa, the orange one, was very good as well as the African coffee I had. My complaint was the less than stellar service - for the price you pat at this place for the exceptional food you receive, I expect the same in service. It was sadly lacking in that area. Definitely a great place to have breakfast at any time of the day. We went after Church and ordered off their robust menu. They have the classics but also a few variety pieces as well. I decided to order their Huevos Rancheros, which was recommended to me. They were out of tortillas that day, so I went for my other breakfast go-to, the reliable chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles were good. If I go back I'll likely go for the Chicken and Waffles. Depending on when you go, you can expect a line. The food is pretty good. I always felt the descriptions of the food dont do the actual dish any justice. I love the shrimp and grits with added lobster. Also,the beignets are pretty darn good. The bad, there is always a wait. The wait time is never right. I checked in online (which is not reserving and doesn't really seem to hold your place in line), and was told 45 minutes. I get there and check in with the hostess (15 minutes later) and was told it would 45 more minutes. We were seated 1 hour and 45 minutes later. The service was seamless and staff was great with the service HOWEVER, the food was cold, stale, and the presentation of the items looked no where near the website pictures. When we arrived, we were greeted and immediately helped as they started to set the table for our party of 7. Once we sat, our lovely server, Santana came to us and we informed her that we were all from up north, and this was actually our first time in Georgia. Santana heard that, and took it upon herself to get the table freshly cooked beignets with a orange sauce that was to die for, but that was just the beginning of our wonderful service. Santana was attentive, witty and extremely helpful in choosing our meals; given it being our first time eating there. My friends and I were all more than pleased with our meals--ranging from huevos rancheros, sausage and biscuits, omelettes, and more. EVERY. SINGLE. THING. WAS. DELICIOUS!!! The environment was just what was needed after a long night, and the food at Another Broken Egg was not only the perfect cure for a hangover, but an even better cure for an empty stomach. Since before we relocated to the area, we'd found this restaurant. Now that we live here we can return again and again, and we certainly do! Fresh everything and perfectly prepared entrees. They really have poached eggs down pat. Precisely cooked to order, and promptly served. Delicious in every way. I like the bananas Foster pancakes as a special treat. We were looking for a brunch spot with outdoor seating and hadn't tried this place yet. I joined the waitlist via Yelp, but they were running behind because they seemed to be understaffed. They were NOT restricting the capacity, which was scary and they were not enforcing mask usage. I watched them clean multiple tables with the same rag... they did not wipe the chairs and I sat in someone's food... not happy. I ended up ordering a Bloody Mary and a cold brewed coffee and their blackberry stuffed French toast. The Bloody Mary was great. The cold brew tasted like milk with a splash of coffee... not worth it. So I ordered a hot coffee and they rip you off by charging $3.79 for brewed coffee! The food was good, but the cleanliness and the service was lacking. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. This place is always busy! If you google them, you can click "join waitlist" to get yourself on the waitlist and it will show the estimated wait time. Just check in with host upon arrival. There's limited seating in the waiting area, most people just stand around outside until they receive the text message that there table is ready. They do ask you if it's your first time, if it is, they will set a card on your table with a picture of beignets. First timers receive a free half order of the beignets. Sunday, no alcohol can be ordered before 11am just a heads up in case you're wanting a mimosa or something and you come on a Sunday. My husband and I ordered the Floridian Omelette and the Shrimp and Grits. The Floridian Omelette comes with a side, I opted for the potatoes and added in cheese, onion and pepper. The omelette wasn't bad. I probably won't have it again if I'm being honest, the crab meat on it was too "fishy" tasting for my liking. But that won't prevent me from returning, there's so much more on the menu to try. My husband im had the Shrimp and Grits. The server informed us that people customize it all the times you can add in crab, lobster, crawfish etc. It is an up charge to do that. He swapped the andouille sausage for chicken sausage, which is not an up charge. The dish was very good, has a small "kick" to it, but i would say it's fine for people who don't like or can't do spice since it's so slight. The biscuit beignets are very good, it came with 4 pieces. Crispy and sugary from the powdered sugar, they give you a orange marmalade dipping sauce.
