This place. The people I usually dine with are impatient and typically get upset if the wait is too long. It wasn't, but the staff still apologized for the (like 15 minute) wait. The food was also- I say this as a person incredibly picky with Chicken, but wow. I was simply amazed. The atmosphere wasn't that bad either, but to sum up my few times going there, it was simply enjoyable. (Also this is the place that got me into drinking cold brews. The only deduction here is for the longer wait time on the food to arrive at your table. We discovered this place late in the fall and ended up going back several weekends in a row! The chicken and waffles is my go to here. The chicken is fried right and the waffle is fluffy and delicious and I like the chili red sauce that comes wIth it! Definitely try the sweet rolls powdered sugar greatness they have as a dish or a side order. You won't regret it! Reminds me of a close second to NOLA's beignets but obviously here in South Ga. I think the decor and seating is cute and comfy for a modern day cafè and it's locations is perfeCt for weeKend brunch spot. We will most certainly be going back again and again. Oh my goodness. The food is phenomenal! The service is just as great. My fiancé and I are visiting family down here and I'm so glad we've found this spot! Today was our second time here in 3 days - yes, it's that good. The prices are a bit high but the quality of the food is worth it. I've tried the beignets which are very tasty, the blueberry almond french toast which was superb. The strawberry butter on the french toast was what made the dish. Today, I ordered biscuits & gravy, which was delicious. The biscuits were light and fluffy, the gravy was flavorful and the side of sausage served with it was unlike any sausage I've had before; it was super fresh and flavorful. My fiancé loved everything he tried and cleared his plates both times we visited. This place is a must try if you're in the area! read more

This our fourth visit since they opened . The food here never ceases to disappoint! Weekends are always super busy for them and involves a long wait time generally . However, and this time we tried the Yelp Waitlist option which worked great for us !! There is generally plenty of parking here and we got a spot almost immediately. Being a Sunday , we were 19th in line at 10 am. We were able run some errands and about half hour later got a message to check in. The hosts were very polite and informed us that there were 5 more people to go. We were seated in 15 minutes . Everything seemed to take longer than usual but it was quite evident that they were short staffed today; however I have to commend the girls working there : they were great, some even doubled up as hosts and waited tables and still managed to keep up the friendly attitude. Our food came and it was worth the wait. I'd ordered a Lobster and Brie Omelette and my husband got the Banana Foster pancakes. Both dishes were delicious ! The Lobster and Brie Omelette was rich and creamy, the Champagne and Brie sauce had a hollandaise-like texture topped with spring onions. It was a fair portion and came with an English muffin and butter on the side. As for the Banana Foster, the pancakes were light and topped with syrup, whipped cream , chopped bananas and pecans : a very appetizing presentation. The pancakes were airy and well-soaked in syrup, together with banana, cream and pecans made for the perfect bite! The ambience was great for families and they also had bar seating . This is also a dog friendly place as it has outdoor seating (we'll be bringing ours' the next time). We thoroughly enjoyed brunch here and will be going back. We recommend anyone visiting ABEC to use the Waitlist option since it's a popular location (rightly so!) to save time ! read more

Tried this place once and wasn't very good. Food was very late, was a Friday morning and took nearly 50 minutes while sitting at the bar. Bartender just kept walking by us the entire time for at least 20 minutes before taking our drink order. Halfway through the meal I turn around and see a dead roach sitting on the table. It saved us the dreaded wait at the restaurant. I highly recommend using wait list if available for the restaurant you plan on dining at. The Bloody Marys are delicious and the crab cakes Benedict was phenomenal! Also the upgrade to the city grits is a must! The food and experience was superb! Great food always willing to go the extra mile. I take all my out-of-town guests there for a breakfast.

When we came in we had to go onto a waiting list. We we're 30 to 35 min. wait which fine. In the mean time that time came and went. While we were made to wait other people/couples or parties would come well after us and they got seated right away. The manager is of color and we are white. So it seems the manager tells the hosts to seat people of color first over white people. The only way we got seated was a black couple spoke up in our defense and told the hosts we had been wait along time. Plus the food here is terrible. read more

I also ordered a Mango Margarita that was so delicious but not too strong. Our waitress Santana was exceptional as has a great personality.
