the food was so good and came out very quick the only problem was it just seemed like there weren't a lot of people working and that made things slow. all together great experience will be back! read more

Sat at the bar for a quick breakfast, but quick is not what I got. The server, a man 40? 50 ? didn't seem to be having a good day. I mention the age because he should know better, leave your problems home. I ordered a bloody mary and omelet breakfast. After waiting 45 minutes I was ready to cancel my order, the server then went to check on it. Guess what ? It was ready ! The omelet was way over cooked and lukewarm and the potatoes cold. I could have made a better breakfast at home. First and last time to Another broken egg........ read more

Service is great the food is delicious especially their breakfast sausage is amazing! To top it off they have a variety of mimosas! We go every other weekend for brunch! read more

No matter which location I go to I always get the best service. The food is always amazing and the drinks are always great. I love the waffle sliders. And the city grits are a MUST even if you don't like grits. Perfect for Sunday brunch, or Thursday brunch if you want to avoid the crowds. read more

Sat at a table for 25 minutes and never served meanwhile I watch a server take care of everyone else on the patio. To make matters worse she only made eye contact with me a half dozen times. It's the service industry do your job or find another line of work. I will never return. read more

Will NEVER come back to this restaurant again. When told that I didn't like my food and that it didn't taste right, the MANAGER practically berated me and rolled her eyes when my husband and I stated that I actually eat that particular meal on a regular. She made us feel very unwelcome. We will not be returning. read more

This breakfast place was great! The only thing I did not like was the server came by and tried to rush us to leave

My FAVORITE breakfast/brunch spot in Memphis, and in top 5 restaurants. Service is always EXCELLENT; food is always delicious and EXACTLY as ordered; customer service is always superb and attentive. As a former Louisianan, it's good to see a La-birthed favorite done excellently 5 hrs away from its start. Well done Memphis team. Oh yeah, THIS ONE is the best of the two locations. This place is amazing. The biscuits and gravy are exceptional, the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had!! read more

I enjoyed my visit here at Poplar Plaza. The waiter was so polite and helpful. The food is delicious. Don't miss out on their beignets ! read more

Was told the wait would be 25 minutes was waiting for a whole hour. Once seated kept having to ask the waitress where our food was. We were there for 2.5 hours and had to eat fast once our food finally came because we had somewhere to be. Would have never stayed if we knew the wait was gonna be an hour. Horrible management! Once we were seated we could see 8 open tables while people were still crowded in the entrance waiting to be seated how we were. Food was decent... nothing to write home about. read more

Really enjoyed the food here. Got there around 10 am on a weekday and it was semi busy. Wait staff was kind and attentive throughout service. I had the buttermilk pancake special that comes w two pancakes, your choice of meat, and two eggs. Usually, I am turned off by restaurants that offer two pancakes instead of three but these were huge and I was full as a tick when I left. My only complaint is I asked for lightly scrambled eggs and they were a little over for my taste, but most restaurants never get this right so it's something I've gotten used to. Would definitely go back. read more

Visited this Another Broken Egg Cafe after a bad experience at their other location on Highland st. I left a 2 star rating for that experience, so the manager from the Park location reached out to me personally and apologized on behalf of the business and invited me to his location. This was absolutely the best breakfast I've had in a while and everything was perfect. He didn't know we were coming today so they weren't prepared to see me but they were already perfect from the entrance to the exit. 5 stars Bob... and please tell our waitress that she was amazing as well... I Highly recommend this location... read more

My first time eating here was last weekend. We had a wonderful waitress named Alexis and the manager that was working, he walked around and checked on tables and he was a delight to speak to. Amazing customer service is hard to find but the staff at this location was simply wonderful. And not to mention the amazing food. Can't want to return for my next brunch date! read more

I don't often eat breakfast - mostly due to the lack of being hungry early in the morning; however, ABEC is one one of my favorite brunch spots! Ate there yesterday for brunch. My only complaint would be the wait. The dining room is small so our wait was 45min-1hr. We had nothing going on, so we stuck it out. There is no good waiting area either for so many individuals waiting for a table. There is one small bench inside and one outside. We had 28 parties ahead of us in line. Having a way to get a place in line online would help. That way, people could reserve a spot in line and arrive closer to their dining time. I did not find any sort of reservation system on their website. They notify you via text, so I suppose I could've left, but figured I'd hang by just in case the line moved faster. I think we waited right around the hour mark. That rant over, the food is insanely tasty and reasonably priced. I got the "Hey Lucy" omelette with potatoes and an English muffin. I added a sweet sensation pancake of the Blueberry, Lemon, Goat Cheese pancake. I definitely overdid it with the pancake, but it was worth it!!! Their cocktails are tasty too! Bloody Mary was like a wonderfully, alcoholic breakfast salad!!! I will definitely go again, but I wish they'd have a better waiting arrangement!!! read more

Melissa was amazing great service with a smile even though we stayed a little past closing. Food was phenomenal drinks were great too. My party ordered 2 cinnamon roll French toast platter. 2 french toast & chicken plates. Shrimp and grits / lobster & grits along with crab cake egg Benedict everything was yummy only complaint mine was a little cold I got it warmed up no problems . Great place if I visit Memphis again I'll be back ! read more

I had a most excellent salad, actually way more than I could have possibly eaten. My companion enjoyed a yummy BLT with the addition of avocado. They treated us to free beneigts. The service was friendly and attentive. read more

Walking into Another Broken Egg, I initially figured this would be just another breakfast/brunch joint. I couldn't of been more incorrect. As soon as our table was ready, we were greeted by the manager who kindly guided us to our table, then proceeded to explain the rather daunting menu in front of us. Our waiter was equally as helpful and took our orders promptly. We came for good food, but we also got treated to the definition of southern hospitality. I would happily drive from Ohio back to this specific location to experience it all again. Fell in love with this fantastic restaurant. read more

The food was very good. My grits were like warm. They could have used more staff to assist with cleaning tables and coffee, etc.

Waited like almost an hour and half to get a table in a crowded restaurant. The food was great and the wait staff was very efficient and pleasant compared to the hostess person who was seating everyone. They appeared to be over whelmed and in organized judging by the customers that were complaining read more

Very good food, but the portions are huge! There is definitely enough to share. We love the biscuits and gravy and the potatoes are the BEST!! Our son LOVES the waffles! Recommend checking it out! read more

I've been here twice once a few years ago and the second time in May for my daughters bday. The food was great both times! I love that they have special flavors for French toast, pancakes, and waffles. I had a mimosa that was good and my daughter had a non alcoholic one so that was cute for her bday. The service I received was good. I will have to start coming more frequently as I kind of forget about this place due to location hopefully the food and service continues to be great. read more

Definitely wasn't worth the wait. 30 min wait to be seated. 40 wait for food. Mixed berry pancake tasted so salty it was unbearable to eat. The worst pancakes I've ever had! The person I was with ordered French toast with chicken sausage and egg. The sausage had a bone she unexpectedly bit into that caused her to have pain in her mouth hours after leaving. There's better items then this place and I won't waste my time again. read more

Not impressed with this restaurant. My fiancee and I are first time customers and both of our meals were dry and not very good. I ordered the Sunrise Spinach Scrambler and he ordered their most popular selection, the Mardi Gras Omelette. I would have rather went to Cracker Barrel. read more

I went here for the first time with some friends from out of town and didn't know what to expect. I often cook breakfast at home because I have been less than impressed with most of the breakfast joints in town, even, and please don't hurt me as I know so many rave about it...Brother Junipers. Another Broken Egg Cafe was outstanding, from the service to the food. There is a wait, similar to how it is on the weekends at Brother Junipers, but is well worth it. My friend had the Lucy Omelet, I had the lobster and Brie, and my fiancé got the cinnamon roll pancake with blueberry sauce. Even the bloody Mary's were great!! Definitely have a new spot for an excellent breakfast! read more

The food and atmosphere was great. I love the breakfast here.. However, if you are up for the wait or time is right, I definitely think the food is good (as is the Mimosas which can help with that wait). We will definitely be back read more

I have never written a yelp review but I saw that this place only had 3 1/2 stars and I was SHOOK. The biscuit beignets are perfectly fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth, slap-your-mama good. My brother says the shrimp n grits are "all you need." And the Turkey, Brie and Pesto is my personal favorite. I will say the one con is that there is almost always a wait, but it's well worth it. Please do yourself a favor and eat here if you have taste buds. read more

Being a big eggoholic myself, I expected greatness. Boy was I disappointed. I don't know where to begin. We went around 12:30 -1pm and it wasn't that packed at all. Maybe 10 people tops but the service sucked so bad. We never got a refill on our drinks, they forgot our appetizer completely. I started just to get my own straws for our drinks. The waiter never came around us. The food just wasn't any good at all. IHOP beats this place without even trying sadly. Just a huge disappointment. I guess the name fits the restaurant pretty good though. Just another broken egg. read more

Meh... run of the mill chain breakfast spot. Nothing I had was out of the ordinary or any better than any other mediocre breakfast place I have eaten at. The place was surprisingly packed for what I experienced, but the tables are so close together it feels like a family style dining experience and the service was terribly slow. If you are really looking for a place to eat a grand breakfast, please explore, summer ave, midtown or downtown for an inspiring breakfast and start to your day. read more

Please skip this place. With so many incredible local places with unique dishes just a few minutes away, why eat average food? To be fair, the food is not bad but it's also not amazing or memorable. The biscuit beignets were delicious...but after eating the beignets at Beauty Shop, no comparison. We also tried the biscuits and gravy, again good but nothing so spectacular to yelp about. Also I wasn't too impressed with the service, we had to ask several times for silverware and the check. Probably won't eat here again... read more
