Me and the hubby wanted to try a different breakfast outside of our typical spot. It's a standard cafe but has a full service bar which was an added bonus. Our server John was kind and knowledgeable but our drinks took pretty long to come out (sure that was the bar and not John). The fruit in the drink also wasn't fresh but did not plan on making a fuss about that. The drink was decent as it was a mimosa with Grand Marnier. I ordered the seasonal menu item Apple Fritter French toast with fried egg and chicken sausage. My husband ordered the cinnamon roll French toast, bacon and eggs scrambled soft. Unfortunately, my eggs weren't prepared as requested--being medium in the center but the French toast was a good choice. This is a place if you'd like a quick bite and you're in the area shopping but not sure it would be a good fit for driving a distance to experience it.

Our first time in and they hit it out the park! A perfect home run! 10/10 recommend. Our waiter Darrius greeted us with a chill vibe and a great smile. The AGM Stacey, came out to greet us after making rounds through the restaurant. She's wonderful! And she made my day when she told me the is gem has a location in my home town Wichita, KS!!! I HAVE to send my family there. I hope they have an amazing time just like I did. I had the cinnamon roll French toast. It was buttery, tender, and very decadent. Definitely a must try. We will be back again, I need to try the shrimp and grits for sure.

They get busy, so I suggest you always join the waitlist. My daughter and I stopped in for Saturday brunch. It was our first visit and I was hoping for a good outcome. I settled on the standard pancakes, eggs, and bacon. I don't usually like restaurant eggs, but theirs were really good after adding salt and pepper. I didn't even need to add ketchup. The pancakes were great. You get 3 decent size pancakes. They are dense and fluffy at the same time (I don't know another way to describe them) and tasted the great. I love their syrup. It's tastes cinnamony. If you have a cinnamon allergy, I was ask about that. The only thing I didn't like was the bacon. It tasted weird that's all I can say. My daughter got the cinnamon roll French toast; she loved it. I washed mine down with an Apple pie mimosa that I enjoyed and she with some type of sparkling strawberry lemonade. It was good. Our server was nice and attentive without being smothering. It was busy and they sat us right by the door. They only have 2 bathrooms. I will return. I guess I forgot to take pictures

Spinach, egg omelette, lightly seasoned potatoes, and biscuit beignets with a salsa on the side. Coffee is delicious..

Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Spinach egg omelette was very tasty potatoes seasoning just right. Biscuit beignets heavenly. The coffee is delicious.. if you haven't come here for breakfast, you should.

We came in today and had such a lovely brunch! I wanna start by saying our server was so awesome. I am so sad that I did not catch his name, but he did such a good job and had so much patience and getting us all situated. He first came to the table and greeted himself. Let us know the order in which he was going to do things in which I greatly appreciate it. He first said welcome. I'm going to go to the back and get y'all waters then I will come and ask if you guys need anything else to drink I'll put your order in bring you your food and then we'll go from there. Is that OK! I love that about his service! And he did just that we had one small hiccup in the order, but it really was not even his fault it would be nice to be noted that when ordering an iced brew that the ice brew details say that it has milk in it outside of that everything else was perfect. We ended up ordering a variety of items all came out hot and fresh and super delicious from pancakes to have sandwiches bacon eggs, waffles chicken Egg whites, and more , there was no food left! My order was the lunch special, which was a half order of chicken and waffles with a small bowl of chicken tortilla soup just needed an extra dash of salt but outside of that it was perfect. Restaurant is nice and clean and up-to-date and the greatest thing about it is is that we actually set for a party of four but we had an additional person arrive, which he just calmly grab a chair and set himself at the front part of the booth table. Next thing we know we looked over and the waitstaff had actually added on an extra table to the end without us even asking that was so nice and we truly appreciated that! for sure we'll be back

Visited this location on a Sunday after church. Parking was good as there was a lot. The location is visible from the main street which made it easy to find. The host stand greeted us and took our information quick and efficiently. The wait was 25 minutes. We had ample seating to wait. At the time, the restrooms were clean. We were alerted the table was ready via text. The bench should have been wiped down better and not just the table. Ordering with the waitress was easy (like it should be). Food came out on time, looking pretty and delicious. Staff was receptive to requests like condiments and napkins. Our table ordered The Lobster Brie Omelette, Monterey Power Omelette and the Bourbon Street Pancakes. Only complaint, we did not order more! I would definitely recommend this place.

This was what I spat out after crunching on the egg shells from a poached egg

Everything could improve. The service was extremely slow. We waited 10 minutes before we gave up on the host and sat the bar. After we ordered, we waited 30 minutes before we were forced to get our food to go. Once we heated it up at home, we found the lobster in the lobster and Brie omelette was very very old and very brown, the breakfast potatoes were unseasoned, and there were sooo many eggshells in the shrimp Benedict. How are there raw eggshells in a poached egg?! We don't live near a location of Another Broken Egg, however, we will never go back and highly recommend to everyone we know not to go.

I came to Dallas for a weekend trip and stumbled upon this place. Everything was so good. The vanilla cold brew was perfectly made. The shrimp and grits were seasoned very well and filled with shrimp. The bartender was really sweet and efficient. Also the food came out so fast. It was a nice vibe all around in this establishment.

Everything was great! Loved how moist and spongy the strawberry pound cake french toast was. Bacon cooked to perfection! Our server was very friendly and was very good to us.

I would rate this place a 3.5 if they would let me do half stars. There was really nothing wrong with our visit, but there also wasn't anything amazing that was memorable or stood out. I mean next time I want to go out for breakfast this wouldn't be the first place that would come to mind. I will say the service was very good. Our waitress was so nice and attentive. The food WAS good but again nothing that wowed me. And lastly the ambiance was nice and modern. Worth trying at least once.

I use to frequent Another Broken Egg in Indiana so visiting Dallas from the Killeen I had to go. Our server was great and the food was good, and so were the drinks. I although I like the drinks from the one in Indy better, the service here is MUCH better than theirs. I just get in line prior to arriving which made the wait time shorter. I'd definitely come again.

The food was good and flavorful. Service was pretty good. We ordered French toast with fruit on top and the server delivered french toast pound cake with fruit. Tasted good but was not what we ordered. I just love their coffee cups. I want to be able to buy one. The server said they used to sell them but stopped because they were running out of coffee cups to serve coffee in.... Order MORE please! The ambiance is modern and includes copper colored ducts that are visible in the ceiling. High table tops and a great view of the area. Overall, the ambiance was great and the food was good. I'd say try them out!

Thanks to the reservation, we were seated right away and immediately greeted by our server, who was honestly amazing from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. We kicked things off with drinks. I started with an espresso martini, and it was really, really good--smooth, balanced, and exactly what I was hoping for. For my second drink, I tried the smoked Old Fashioned from their holiday menu. It was good, but I'll be honest, it was extremely strong. Like, really strong. In general, their drinks definitely pack a punch, so that's something to keep in mind when ordering. For my entrée, I ordered the Mediterranean smoked chicken salad, and wow. It was hands down one of the best salads I've ever had in my life. Everything was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and satisfying, and it didn't feel like a "boring" salad at all. It was so good that I already know I'll be coming back specifically for that dish, though I'm also curious to try more of the menu next time. Overall, this place absolutely lived up to the recommendation. Great service, strong drinks, and standout food. I'll definitely be back.

The layout feels open and comfortable, and the overall vibe is upbeat without being overwhelming. That said, service on arrival could use some attention. There was a noticeable gap at the host stand with several guests waiting and no staff in sight, which set a slightly off first impression. Once seated, though, the experience improved. Ally at the bar stood out right away. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming, she helped turn the visit around and made the experience feel more personal. She did come back to check in later, which was appreciated and helped round out the service. On the food and drink side, they carry Manhattan Project Beer Company's Half-Life, which is a big win and pairs exceptionally well with the French dip. The sandwich itself is flavorful and satisfying. The fries were a bit on the softer side, so if you prefer them crispy, I'd definitely recommend asking for them extra crispy when ordering. Overall, Thirsty Lion has a lot going for it. Great atmosphere, solid menu, and standout staff like Ally. With a little more consistency at the front of house, this place easily moves from good to great.

Highlights for food: The pizza and bread were delicious. 4 for flavor and texture. I would've loved to have the tortufo, which I tried to order, but the waiter told me they were out of truffles. I asked if we could just get everything else in it and he said "no"? We ordered the wild mushroom instead and while I didn't taste the thyme or pesto, it was still really good. Arugula salad: I think it's $14 or close, so I expected a decent size. It wasn't, and it had one piece of fennel. One. Disappointing. Flavor was good, lemony and fresh. Service: Ordered a cocktail when we sat down. It didn't come for a while. We asked about it, kind of had to remind the server, and it finally arrived with our appetizer, mussels, but I wouldn't have paired the cocktail with mussels so kinda meh. The mussels, however, were really good. They'd get a 5. So overall the food was good, and I'd be curious to try some other things, but it's all a part of the experience and that overall was so-so.

The noodles were delightfully chewy and the broth had a rich and full flavor without being overly fatty; I finished every drop of the garlicky goodness. They also have chicken ramen for those who cannot appreciate the deliciousness that pork offers. The interior was cozy and upscale for a ramen spot and they have an outdoor patio which is nearly as large as the inside. The service was respectable but not noteworthy. Parking wasn't bad either, there are lots and a garage nearby. However, the food itself fell flat for me. We ordered the crispy chicken happy hour special, which comes with a side salad. The chicken was on the dry side. Whenever I order Kaarage, it usually comes with a dipping sauce, but there was none here and that would've really helped out. The dressing on the side salad was way too acidic, making it hard to eat as well. In addition, we ordered the takoyaki as an appetizer. The takoyaki themselves were pretty solid, but the texture of the mayo was off. I'm not sure if they make their mayo in-house, but i noticed it was curdled. For the ramen, we ordered Jinya Tonkotsu Black and Creamy Veggie Ramen. Pricing is standard for DFW ramen restaurants, although *slightly* higher than some others (by like $1). The base ramen comes with a good variety of toppings! However, the ramen was just okay. The noodles are on the skinnier side, which I prefer thicker, chewier noodles. The pork chashu serving was small, and it tasted kind of old and wasn't that tender nor flavorful. The broth was just alright. I prefer soft-boiled, jammy ramen eggs, but the ajitama here was cooked longer than I would've liked. Ironically, I thought the veggie ramen was *much* better. The broth had better flavor, and they use different noodles than the tonkotsu, which were thicker (and exactly what I like!). Lastly, we had the matcha tiramisu for dessert. On a positive note, the matcha flavor was detectable. However, the tiramisu crème wasn't that fluffy, and there were noticeable amounts of undissolved sugar. Both the curdled mayo and tiramisu crème provide enough data points to suggest that whoever in the kitchen is responsible for blending/mixing needs some more training and attention to detail.

The mangos add a nice sweetness & really makes the dish. We went there for the meatloaf, Maguire's meatloaf never disappoints. It's the same delicious dish from 20+ years ago that brings happiness to the heart. Crispy onions, with cheddar mashed potatoes... love, love, love. The maple ginger salmon was cooked perfectly, & you can't go wrong with shrimp and crab the fried rice to accompany it. Lychee Lovebomb with the ube foam, no regrets. The staff greeted us upon arrival & we were seated with a few minutes, each person was friendly & courteous. Our waiter was very attentive, they got busier throughout the night & provided excellent service all around. Beautiful atmosphere, yet casual enough without the need to get all dressed up. Looking forward to coming back!

I had booked a reservation on Resy and we were seated immediately in a small, intimate booth. Initially, it was not terribly loud, but as the evening progressed and several large parties were seated nearby; the sound of the music was completely drowned out. I think more noise abatement measures could be taken to absorb some of the obtrusive loudness we were getting. For a starter, we ordered the Calamari. It was fried perfectly and was great, but the Thai Sticky sauce was too sweet and the consistency of the sauce was thin. It needed something to make it more viscous, and a secondary sauce, like a marinara or even an aioli would've been nice to balance out the sweetness of the Thai sauce. For an entree, I ordered the Maple- Ginger Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and itself was delicious, but the sauce was too sweet and rich. The fired rice that accompanied my meal was over-the-top salty. It was almost going into "too much" territory. For desert we split the Passion Fruit Ice Cream Pie. This was actually very good and not overly sweet. It was my favorite item from my meal. Overall Renny's truly employs a lot of care and attention to the food, but some of the items crossed a line into "too much" territory. Be it sweetness or saltiness, the kitchen could exercise a bit of restraint to let the flavors of the food shine.
