Corned beef Hash with English muffin and eggs

I have been to this restaurant 2 or 3 times now. The level of excellence achieved in the dishes is definitely above average. The plating is excellent and the details like thick candied bacon, refreshing juices, and fluffy/buttery pancakes make this place so much better than your average diner. The ambiance is nice, it's got a slight retro vibe and it's usually packed with people. Thankfully they balance the business and don't crowd the restaurant. The one time I ate in person, the service was slow. I had to go in and look for our server and it wasn't that busy. Maybe our server got distracted, or caught up with someone else. Also the prices are reasonable, would definitely return to try more dishes when I'm in the area.

Its very busy on the weekends, recommend joining the digital waitlist before you arrive. Its also loud but can still hear the music. Food is hit or miss- the juice drinks and pancakes are great everything I visit. The egg dishes not so great-- Benny's need more sauce or else they can be dry. Omelets underseasoned and overcooked. Hashbrowns a pile of bland potatoes, not crispy. They have sugar, cane sugar, and granulated Stevia as coffee sweeteners. My coffee never tasted right Service was good though it took 20min for food to come out of the kitchen.

Always interesting and unique choices for breakfast. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

OK, I'm back. Left off some photos. I had them on a digital camera and had to wait until I got to my older computer to insert a chip. Pretty cool place, with good food, and large portions. If I didn't know better, I would say that the place was designed by whomever did the bowling alley in The Big Lebowski. Very cool.

Snooze was great! I loved the Spuds Deluxe! There was plenty of food on all the entrees we got! They are great with their portions! The OMG! French Toast was super unique and I loved they had something with a special flair. Our service was good. The inside was decorated kind of like scooby doo inspired and I liked that. I would love to try more of their Spuds dishes next time I'm near a Snooze!

Food was ok. Not worth a 30 min wait to be seated. That's more of a mismanagement issue, or short staff issue. I wouldn't now. Saw empty tables, with dirty dishes, while people were waiting in line. Drinks were acceptable. Coffee never refilled. Probably not coming back. Music was good though.

Snooze is always a delicious and welcoming restaurant to visit. The hostess greets us with a smile. The bright, retro decor and orange furniture and umbrellas in the outdoor eating area are easily recognizable and memorable. The food is really good and filling. Perfect breakfast food. Bonus, their chai latte is delicious!

Absolutely delicious. Was happy with my meal from start to finish and thankful for so many gluten free options. Our server, Trish, was amazing. The atmosphere is cool and it's a great place to sit and brunch and chat with friends!

Very much enjoyed this place for breakfast. It's busy so make a reservation on Yelp. Ordered eggs with cheese, bacon, pancakes and grits. Everything was yummy, especially the bacon.

Mid week spot - not too crowded as weekends get very busy; but you can get on waitlist - helps to get in when super busy. Food was great a surprise lower cost menu Mon-Thur offered smaller portions of great selection of items we thought and enjoyed eggs benedict, coffee and OMG French Toast along with side of special bacon. All did not disappoint but would opt out of 3 slices of bacon for $$ - good but pricey. Lower key during week atmosphere with excellent service. Our waiter 'was training' but you would have never known it - very nice, kept coffee filled - ask for condiments preferred - very pleasant break during the week. Give yourself a treat - visit soon.

I finished a doctor's appointment at the sports center next door and was looking for some breakfast while I waited for my ride. I saw this place and decided to check it out. Very cute interior with a bright and colorful setup. I was seated quickly, although I sat at the bar as the booths looked like too tight a squeeze for somebody in a powered wheelchair, however the bar was fine as I was able to raise my seat up to eat comfortably. I got a "Blood Orange Mimosa" and the "Crab & Asparagus Omelette" and I enjoyed both. I'm always looking to try new food and had never had crab with an omelette and that turned out to be a really tasty combination. The servers were very nice and made sure I understood any inconveniences or possible hiccups, asking about allergens, etc and my food arrived quickly. They also offered me some locally made hot sauce which I appreciated. I wanted to post the full menu describing the omelette but it was too much text for the photo, so i'll post it here; "Crab and Asparagus Omelette - Three cage-free eggs with a blend of lump & claw crab meat, Gruyere cheese, sautéed asparagus, red onions & mushrooms. Topped with roasted tomatoes, a drizzle of our house-made cream cheese hollandaise and scallions. Served with Dijon vinaigrette, spiced pepitas and Parmesan-dressed greens." I would eat here again, very tasty, nice interior, and friendly staff.

Location Just off the 75 and Walnut Hill, northeast Dallas. Parking Large lot Atmosphere Breakfast/brunch happy restaurant Note-join the waitlist online or call. Texted updates are super! Seating Bar, booths, tables with semi-circular booth like seats Service-outstanding! Alexis rocked it! The and beverages arrived quickly! Menu Nationwide, this is mu ultimate fav breakfast place. The menu choices are all great! So hard to choose and they offer seasonal specials. We had the garden harvest omelette with side salad. The salad was fresh and delish with a lite dressing. The omelette was topped with cream cheese small scoop and slices of perfectly ripe avocado- loaded with veggies! Delish! We also had the sandwich i am-sausage patty, cheese, egg on a toasted pretzel bun with a yummy hollandaise sauce. So thick and tasty. The hash-browns are served in a thick patty-cute and browned just right. The mimosas are tall and generous! Summary No matter which Snooze you visit-you will be pleasantly filled and satisfied. We love it!!

Thanks to the reservation, we were seated right away and immediately greeted by our server, who was honestly amazing from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. We kicked things off with drinks. I started with an espresso martini, and it was really, really good--smooth, balanced, and exactly what I was hoping for. For my second drink, I tried the smoked Old Fashioned from their holiday menu. It was good, but I'll be honest, it was extremely strong. Like, really strong. In general, their drinks definitely pack a punch, so that's something to keep in mind when ordering. For my entrée, I ordered the Mediterranean smoked chicken salad, and wow. It was hands down one of the best salads I've ever had in my life. Everything was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and satisfying, and it didn't feel like a "boring" salad at all. It was so good that I already know I'll be coming back specifically for that dish, though I'm also curious to try more of the menu next time. Overall, this place absolutely lived up to the recommendation. Great service, strong drinks, and standout food. I'll definitely be back.

The layout feels open and comfortable, and the overall vibe is upbeat without being overwhelming. That said, service on arrival could use some attention. There was a noticeable gap at the host stand with several guests waiting and no staff in sight, which set a slightly off first impression. Once seated, though, the experience improved. Ally at the bar stood out right away. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming, she helped turn the visit around and made the experience feel more personal. She did come back to check in later, which was appreciated and helped round out the service. On the food and drink side, they carry Manhattan Project Beer Company's Half-Life, which is a big win and pairs exceptionally well with the French dip. The sandwich itself is flavorful and satisfying. The fries were a bit on the softer side, so if you prefer them crispy, I'd definitely recommend asking for them extra crispy when ordering. Overall, Thirsty Lion has a lot going for it. Great atmosphere, solid menu, and standout staff like Ally. With a little more consistency at the front of house, this place easily moves from good to great.

Highlights for food: The pizza and bread were delicious. 4 for flavor and texture. I would've loved to have the tortufo, which I tried to order, but the waiter told me they were out of truffles. I asked if we could just get everything else in it and he said "no"? We ordered the wild mushroom instead and while I didn't taste the thyme or pesto, it was still really good. Arugula salad: I think it's $14 or close, so I expected a decent size. It wasn't, and it had one piece of fennel. One. Disappointing. Flavor was good, lemony and fresh. Service: Ordered a cocktail when we sat down. It didn't come for a while. We asked about it, kind of had to remind the server, and it finally arrived with our appetizer, mussels, but I wouldn't have paired the cocktail with mussels so kinda meh. The mussels, however, were really good. They'd get a 5. So overall the food was good, and I'd be curious to try some other things, but it's all a part of the experience and that overall was so-so.

We went for dinner on a Friday to enjoy the gorgeous Dallas weather, sitting on the patio. Service was perfect as usual, seldom a problem with service. I had my usual La Carolina straight up while the wife tried something new, some kind of sweet drink with coconut milk and lime. I don't know the name but she loved it. The kid had Topochico ($6 for bottle, ouch!) The kid had the small guacamole and it is a generous portion with very good quality avocado and a slice on top. There is a small side of roasted poblano pepper that is quite spicy but delicious. I "stole" it from the kid and put on my tacos. Perfect. I had my favorite "Old Fashioned" tacos with flour tortillas and loved them. You two to an order for $17 plus red rice and Cole slaw. It's more than enough food. The ground beef is seasoned perfectly and I love it. I wish I knew what spices they put in that beef so I could make it at home. The wife tried the tacos al pastor with adobo chicken and fresh pineapple. She loved it. The chicken was tender and not dried out. The flavor combo was perfect. Overall, really a perfect meal. The noodles were delightfully chewy and the broth had a rich and full flavor without being overly fatty; I finished every drop of the garlicky goodness. The pork chashu was tender and the egg had a jammy orange yolk. The Birria ramen sounded interesting but a bit gimmicky. They also have chicken ramen for those who cannot appreciate the deliciousness that pork offers. The interior was cozy and upscale for a ramen spot and they have an outdoor patio which is nearly as large as the inside. The service was respectable but not noteworthy. Cons: A little pricey but I guess that's par for the course in Preston Hollow. $23 for my bowl of ramen after tax & tip. Moriya Shokuda is still my current favorite ramen spot but JINYA is very solid! 4.5 stars!

Parking wasn't bad either, there are lots and a garage nearby. However, the food itself fell flat for me. We ordered the crispy chicken happy hour special, which comes with a side salad. The chicken was on the dry side. Whenever I order Kaarage, it usually comes with a dipping sauce, but there was none here and that would've really helped out. The dressing on the side salad was way too acidic, making it hard to eat as well. In addition, we ordered the takoyaki as an appetizer. The takoyaki themselves were pretty solid, but the texture of the mayo was off. I'm not sure if they make their mayo in-house, but i noticed it was curdled. For the ramen, we ordered Jinya Tonkotsu Black and Creamy Veggie Ramen. Pricing is standard for DFW ramen restaurants, although *slightly* higher than some others (by like $1). The base ramen comes with a good variety of toppings! However, the ramen was just okay. The noodles are on the skinnier side, which I prefer thicker, chewier noodles. The pork chashu serving was small, and it tasted kind of old and wasn't that tender nor flavorful. The broth was just alright. I prefer soft-boiled, jammy ramen eggs, but the ajitama here was cooked longer than I would've liked. Ironically, I thought the veggie ramen was *much* better. The broth had better flavor, and they use different noodles than the tonkotsu, which were thicker (and exactly what I like!). Lastly, we had the matcha tiramisu for dessert. On a positive note, the matcha flavor was detectable. However, the tiramisu crème wasn't that fluffy, and there were noticeable amounts of undissolved sugar. Both the curdled mayo and tiramisu crème provide enough data points to suggest that whoever in the kitchen is responsible for blending/mixing needs some more training and attention to detail.

I had booked a reservation on Resy and we were seated immediately in a small, intimate booth. Initially, it was not terribly loud, but as the evening progressed and several large parties were seated nearby; the sound of the music was completely drowned out. I think more noise abatement measures could be taken to absorb some of the obtrusive loudness we were getting. For a starter, we ordered the Calamari. It was fried perfectly and was great, but the Thai Sticky sauce was too sweet and the consistency of the sauce was thin. It needed something to make it more viscous, and a secondary sauce, like a marinara or even an aioli would've been nice to balance out the sweetness of the Thai sauce. For an entree, I ordered the Maple- Ginger Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and itself was delicious, but the sauce was too sweet and rich. The fired rice that accompanied my meal was over-the-top salty. It was almost going into "too much" territory. For desert we split the Passion Fruit Ice Cream Pie. This was actually very good and not overly sweet. It was my favorite item from my meal. Overall Renny's truly employs a lot of care and attention to the food, but some of the items crossed a line into "too much" territory. Be it sweetness or saltiness, the kitchen could exercise a bit of restraint to let the flavors of the food shine.
