    To go is great!

For a later First Watch meal, Karla, my waitress, placed my to-go order which included the Roast Beef & Havarti sandwich with a side cup of Tomato Basil Soup. Karla made sure everything was packed properly and added crackers with plasticware and napkins. Home, dinner time. Lightly spreading Horseradish sauce across the roast beef adds a little zing for extra flavor. I enjoyed the roasted tomatoes and onions. If you like arugula, it's a home run. Who doesn't like shredded Parmesan melted all across the sourdough bread? Crispy good. Yum. Havarti cheese completes the inside of this tasty sandwich. The tomato basil soup was perfectly seasoned, thick and creamy. Hats off the cooks and those who prepared my order. Eating at home was quiet and convenient.

Very busy Sunday brunch rush hour. We were served quickly and efficiently. The food was very filling and satisfying as everything was hot, flavorful, and complex. The carne asada hash was a full assortment of eggs, crispy potatoes, peppers, cheese and topped with avocado. It also came with tortillas for making delicious breakfast tacos. The donuts were super sweet when dipped in chocolate and the jam. I would get the carne asada dish when I was looking for a flavorful and very filling dish to hold you over a long day of traveling.

Have been a First Watch before. This is a good one. The waiter we had was very friendly and helpful. The wait was short but we had a reservation. Best to do so especially during a weekend. The pancakes were fluffy and tasty. One downside was the eggs benedict arrived with the eggs way too runny, I sent them back and by the time I got them re fired it was with the same side (which was cold by then) and after my entire party had already eaten. Hoping may our next visit will be better

Breakfast at First Watch was great! The food we ordered was delicious. I had a seasonal breakfast plate with a pumpkin pancake. It's was really delicious. My wife ordered herself the Tri-fecta which she also enjoyed. The server was very polite and showed us some recommendations on the menu since it was our first time. We were able to get there at a good time and we noticed that it gets pretty busy. We will definitely stop by there again for breakfast. Great place over all.

The food is always cooked to order and fresh. I have eaten at the franchise in Fort Worth and Dallas. I have never had any regrets. The selections are good and there appears to be something for everyone on the menu. The service is always fast and friendly. The wait staff never seem bothered about questions regarding menu selections and most wait staff are eager to share their favorite dish from the menu. The ambiance is rather modern and the atmosphere gives off a good vibe for families or people looking to catch up over a great meal. I have also dined here alone several times. There is plenty to see on most days. If you are looking for a brunch type of menu for anytime of the day, come and try out this place. Most locations can get busy really quick but the wait on a busy day is usually 20 minutes.

Although noisy inside (busy Saturday morning), the menu is full of healthy and tasty choices. Friendly and quick service, good coffee, and servings sizes are just right (unlike most breakfast places that give too much, making me over-eat or need a take-home box)! I would recommend playing semi-classical or even mild/soft guitar music in the background to encourage the clientele to speak to one another in softer tones/lower volume.

I truly did not expect it to be as good as it was, especially as most of my fish and chip experiences in the US have left me wanting more. This was perfect! Service was surprisingly fast despite how busy the bar was. We had no issues finding seating outside and then moved indoors once space cleared out. Our server was super accommodating and even hooked us up with a table near the larger TV once that party cleared out. Another bonus is that this location has a huge, free parking garage, so super convenient if you don't want to take the DART.

Food, however, wasn't great, we came multiple times last year and it was fantastic all around, last night?... New risotto appetizer was flavorless 4/10, sauce was outstanding 9/10. Chicken meatballs were 6/10, salty, but sauce again was 8.5/10. Bread with the meatballs was 9/10. Nightly special was 9/10, chicken thigh wrapped chicken leg, amazing sauce and carrots. Special sauce with the nightly special stole the night at 9.5/10 - I'd order a bowl of that and call it a night! Magic Chicken Thighs were 6/10, overly salted and dry - side arugula salad was a salt bomb 2/10. Sweet potatoe purée was 7.5/10. Burger and fries were 7/10, solid and above average. Salmon was 7/10, slightly overcooked. Mac & Cheese was 3/10, below average, dry, almost flavorless - paid $4 for bacon topping and it was dry also. Noodles were dried out and the cheese sauce was at the bottom of the cup, tasted like they scooped in pre-made noodles, added sauce, threw it in the oven and off it went - didn't appear mixed together at the least. Carrots, solid 8/10. Overall, I'd be tempted to give it another try, the ambiance and overall feel is awesome - then hope the food is great again and make it a perfect Friday night spot, but for $275 for the 4 entree's, 2 appetizer's and 2 drinks we got last night? I'd argue it wasn't worth it.

I ended up only ordering a drink and an appetizer because I was so disappointed I didn't want to go further. $23.75 Joey Martini - just a simple dry vodka martini w Kettle One. But the description lured me in with the promise of a fantastic martini with an "extra martini on the side". What I received was a half of a martini with the rest of my martini in a shaker next to it. The martini was fine but nothing special. Not the first time I've overplayed for a drink but I do feel a little funny about the way their menu sold me then undelivered. $19 Hummus - The food was an issue for me though. When I order Hummus, I expect to receive hummus. Like the dish should be 70-80% hummus with some light toppings and some good pita bread. What I received was a pretty plate but very little actual hummus and a disaster of pita. First, they made a pretty plate circle of a small band of hummus then filled it with extra stuff to make it APPPEAR as if the center was filled with hummus yet there was zero hummus except for that small outer band. I estimate 49% hummus and the rest tzatziki and garnishment. Don't get me wrong, very aesthetically pleasing and tasty "extras" but the menu item isn't titled "EXTRAS with a little hummus". It's titled "Hunmus". And the pita... oh boy, what a mess. Proper pita is lightly grilled - served warm with a nice sponginess yet bite friendly approach. This pita was way over saturated in their butter/oil, and crisped up to the point there were burn marks and char on every piece. Horrible pairing with hummus and JOEY should know it. I feel these other reviews may be fake honestly as the prices are insane and the execution quite poor. Be careful. $45 for a $15 meal isn't worth it.
