Came here for Sunday lunch with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed the food! The restaurant is located within a shopping center with plenty of parking. There's a small bar situated in the center of the restaurant so we seated ourselves there. We both ordered mimosas and they were delicious! Later on, I ordered the Haymaker but it was a tad bit sweet for my taste. We started out with the chips and guacamole which came with salsa. This was your standard dip and nothing too fancy about it. For burgers, I ordered the Down on the Farm add mushrooms and my friend ordered the Double Bourbon Bacon Jam burger. We added a side of fries which was enough to share. The burgers were huge and delicious! It's definitely enough for leftovers but no shame if you finish it all. I will definitely come back to this location to try out their other food items and drinks.

Whether it's the haystack or the down on the farm !!! everything is delicious!!!

Service and burger excellent! I see the reason why it stays packed ! The gentleman that run this place are awesome they are constantly asking if you need anything ! I'll be back more on the menu to try !

Down on the Farm Burger (added bacon and avocado)
John B.

Very good burger joint! On the pricey side if you add on to the burger, but worth it. I had the Farm Burger (regular cheese burger) and added avocado and bacon. The burger was cooked perfect with plenty of flavor. Side of fries were nothing special. You order at the counter and they deliver to your table. Busy place for a Sunday lunch, but they did turn the food out fairly fast for a cook-to-order place. It had a bistro style feeling inside. A little noisy, as expected. A ton of tables, window bar seating, and a standard bar in the middle. They had plenty of adult drinks on the menu as well with what looked like a somewhat extensive draft beer selection. Their salads also looked really good. Might have to try those next time. Parking is in a strip mall. So depending on how busy the other stores are will determine your parking difficulty. At least it is a large lot and not just street parking.

Goat cheese and fig burger

Boss lady and I ordered to-go. I ordered the goat cheese and fig burger... fabulous! (I don't use that word often) The meat was cooked medium, and the toppings made an amazing bight each time. She had the regular burger with bacon, really good! The 50/50 fries onion ring combo would have tasted better eaten in-house. The joint is like a fish bowl with two walls with windows everywhere. You would think they'd keep the place cleaner.

Food and debris on floor

Cleanliness is clearly not a priority. It's a lot more pleasant to enjoy any meal when the establishment is clean. This was our first time eating at this location and it was a pretty bad experience. The employees going in and out of the kitchen walked over and around trash as if it wasn't there. There were tables that needed cleaning and food on the floor in several areas that needed to be removed. The employees had plenty of downtime that they used to socialize with each other instead of picking up the restaurant. There didn't appear to be a Manager on duty as nobody seemed to be 'in charge'.

The onions that were provided to me. Ouch.

Super expensive for an average burger! While I appreciate the packaging of packing separately the condiments, the burger, mustard and Mayo soaked through the bun and it was all soggy! Also - the amount of onions was pathetic. See pic. Got a whole bag full of fries...too many really. And they're very salty. Service was great.

Eh, it's a nice place. Quick service but outside of that the burgers aren't that tasty. They seemingly have unique ideas about them, but when played out it just isn't there. My guest also got 2 burgers and they had the same conclusion. It just seems to be poor execution of a good idea. The burgers were also very very well done which made the burgers tough. The fry's (we got 5 baskets total lol) were very similar. If I was to compare them, they are somewhere between Burger King quality and five guys. Not something I was amazed with. For over 12 dollars a burger there are soooo many better places. This was again, a good thought but poor execution.

No pictures of our food this time but I'm loving the new Haystack's location in Lakewood! Haystack burgers are top 3 in Dallas in my opinion. Everything is delicious! Don't get me started on the mozzarella sticks. Crispy perfection! This time I ordered the avocado ranch burger, with applewood smoked bacon, provolone cheese, over medium well. I could only finish half it was so big! Dangerous that they've opened a location closer to us. :)

2nd time's the charm! Great food and service! This was my second time here after the first being a multiple level disaster of an experience that was significant enough to me where I had no desire to come back for months. My first trip was a few days after the opening so perhaps worth forgetting that trip. A Yelp friend, Stephen W, wrote a great review and that convinced me to give it another try. There is plenty of parking in this strip mall shopping center. It is easy to find and has a fantastic patio with a wonderful view of the parking lot and setting sun! Indoors is cozy with a modern feel, lots of TV screens and a small bar. The bar has some wonderful local beers including my favorite, Lakewood Brewery's Temptress! Plus, this place is 1/2 mile from my house! Ordering can be done on line or at the order counter. I ordered from the office to pick up on the way home. The order was very well packed taking into account hot stuff, cold stuff and ensuring vents open for items that would get soggy or wilt. They have many interesting burgers to include a couple of vegetarian options! There are some great salads and some fun items for kids! There might some specials for seniors, but I refuse to be old enough to consider that possibility. I ordered the Down on the Farm burger, chocolate milkshake, cup of chili and an order of their thin onion rings that obviously were not good for me so I was absolutely thrilled with my choices! OH, I also ordered a side salad to appease my medical support team with something they might approve. The food was fantastic! The bun was tasty and the patty was perfectly cooked as ordered. It was well caramelized and was moist but not greasy. The high quality toppings were full of flavor! Crispy lettuce and gorgeous tomato slices. The onion rings were decadent! Right amount of spice and absolutely amazingly habit forming! The shake was creamy and smooth. The salad had a great tasty mix of greens and large enough to be quite healthy. The chili was greasy and would make the perfect chili pie as corn chips would suck up that grease. By the way they have chili pie on the menu. I'm certain it must be fantastic! Service was friendly, focused on customers and driven to exceed customer expectations. Prices were quite reasonable for a gourmet buger restaurant. I'll be back many more times!

Thoroughly enjoyed the burger and fries here. You get large portions here, and you can even split if you're moderately hungry. My mom and grandma split a burger, an order of fried pickles, and an order of fries. As for me, I devoured a whole turkey burger in my first visit, and I'm glad that I did. The meat was tender, and the bun was perfectly smashed down so you don't get a mouthful of bread in each bite. I'd visit this post again.

Tried this based friend's recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and tasty. They have an extensive menu for a burger joint. The cashier wasn't the best to interact with, but that shouldn't deter you from trying this place .

Fries and bacon and cheese burger

First time and it will not be our last. Best burger and fries. Fries are to die for. We couldn't stop eating them, hand cut. The back cheese burger was perfectly cooked. They have provolone.

Build your own with veggie patty, half/half fries and sweet potato chips

LOVE Haystack!! I live that they have a veggie burger! They are always so good! We are inside and the place was clean. Our food came out super fast which was great because the kids were hungry. I didn't know how my nephews would respond to the kids cheeseburgers since they don't eat cheeseburgers often but the older one said it's the best he's ever had and the younger, pickier one ate more than expected. They wanted to go back the next day like I did my first time! Needless to say we'll be back!

I rarely leave reviews , in fact, this may be my first one, but this experience was so negative…read morethat I feel compelled to share it. I ordered two sandwiches through the DoorDash app for pickup. The app clearly stated that the sandwiches came with chips and potato salad, which is why I chose that option instead of ordering a different special. When I arrived at the restaurant, I still had to wait in line before reaching the cashier. When I finally got to the counter, she handed me my sandwiches and then told me that I had ordered chips and potato salad but had not paid for them. I calmly explained that the app showed those items as included with the sandwich. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, she told me she needed to call the owner. She then had me step aside while she helped three other customers, leaving me waiting awkwardly off to the side. When the owner finally called her back, she spoke to him loudly (almost argumentatively) about me being there and "claiming" the sandwiches came with chips and potato salad. It was embarrassing because other customers could clearly hear what was happening. Ultimately, I was told the owner said the sandwiches did not come with those sides. At that point, I just took my sandwiches and left. The entire situation felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. If there was a mix-up with the app, that isn't the customer's fault. Good customer service would have been to honor what was displayed in the app and clarify the issue internally afterward. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and embarrassed. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had.

As soon as we entered the parking lot, he went from regular Eddie to hulk smash if I don't get a sandwich soon. And that is how we found Latin Deli. It's small, quaint, and a cute patio on the outside. You walk in to a little almost what a desert kiosk would be like at the mall with a fountain soda station, and some cucumber lime, horchata, and Jamaica constantly tumbling I. Their tanks. The menu is extensive, from Latin crepes, to sandwiches and salads, to even breakfast items. I opted for some chilaquiles, it was tomatillo heavy and super acidic which made it delightful. The beef was well done and paired nicely to the sauce. I would probably sauce on the side next time but man it was scrumptious. Eddie ordered a salad but somehow got a sandwich, which he enjoyed so much more than he would've a salad. Should we have checked? Probably but he was hungry and he wasn't complaining. Service was quick and delightful. If there's any issues, is that this place is on the pricier side. It was $30 for both our meals plus drinks which came out to almost 40ish dollars without tip, so it turned to $50. Would we come again? Probably on pay day.
