Had a nice experience at Liberty Burger! My liberty burger was delicious cooked pink. Which I gather is their medium? I upgraded to a Buffalo burger for 4 bucks more, adding skinny fries to complete my feast! The real standout was the fountain root beer! I've not had a flavor that was as nostalgic tasting to me as this particular brand! Not sure if it brought back memories of the A&W drive ins or a Hires root beer. That sassafras flavor was perfect! It was refreshing, and had that perfect classic flavor. I'm not a soda drinker, for some reason this hit the spot! My group also ordered the onion rings. Modern diner vibe burger spot - their mustard and jalapeno deep fried poppers are a must-have, I'll be back! Their bison liberty burger seemed to be overshadowed by the freshness of the vegetables - I couldn't quite taste the bison. The heath milkshake was delicious and heavy - I'd get it again in a heartbeat! I haven't seen that milkshake flavor before so I knew I had to get it. The jalapeno popper, woof. Wait for it to cool down! I truly enjoyed this, they clearly researched making this a lot. The meat inside was divine with the jalapeno texture. Really good burgers and salads (it's a burger place but still a nice touch to have a good salad) friendly staff, and clean dining room!

My son took me here for my Bday because he knows that I love this place. He had the baby belle mushroom burger and the skinny fries with a custard shake, all of that was delicious. I see this place all the time and I'm so glad I finally tried it! I got a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries! I've gotta say the ranch was top tier, so definitely get a side of it! Overall it had nice presentation but i dont feel that the burger was worth $8.50. 5 guys and in and out are better. The fries were priced fine but i just am not a fan of skinny fries. Service was fine but nothing exceptional. This is not a place that i would ever go out of my way to eat at, but if youre here the food is ok, nothing special. My dad orderes the napa and found it very salty...but it does have olives and gorgonzola. Just maybe not the best concept? The restaurant was clean and inviting. I did appreciate that. read more

We came in right before the crowd. Just finished our workout and decided to eat. So we headed to the left and ran right to Liberty Burger. The atmosphere reminds you of another restaurant( no need to name names), the menu is on the wall as you walk towards the register (they have another menu at the register). I ordered the sturdy salad, honey mustard and no cheese. It was good, I would love to try it with some hard boiled eggs. That real lemonade quenched my thirst, great drink of the summer I don't know if someone just cleaned the floor in the women's bathroom, the floor was slippery. I have eaten here several times and it's always good. The burgers are delicious and they come out fast. There's a full bar with seating and also some tables outside. Liked my Bella Baby Burger add Bacon- had it cooked medium and it was extremely juicy and flavorful. Patty had standing flavor so the bacon may be unnecessary. Good stuff. Fries must be served hot and my order of sweet potato fries were almost too hot to eat- perfect. Worth a stop here if you like burgers and fries. Always an amazing burger and even better service! I've been meaning to brag on this location for a while... fresh, made to order hot food is their specialty. I LOVE the sweet potato fries! There's a nice bar in the middle with some brand and local beer options and wine. Moderate amount of booth or table style seating. Fresh lemonade, tea and fountain drink options. The parking is a little tight due to the nature of the location (lots of restaurants and shops on a strip) but I've never had to park far away. I was in town for a quick visit and had a hankering to come back to a chain that gave so many positive culinary memories. I used to go to the Keller Springs location but Lakewood was the closest this time. Some things had changed in the 4-5 years since I'd been back - or maybe this location is set up differently - but I have mixed feelings about the experience. First, instead of servers I was directed to a counter to order my food. Not the biggest deal but I liked being able to sit down for my order. Also, I recall a few different choices of buns. I was never asked and I found the default to be rather sad and flat. One intriguing change was the self-serve soft drink machines that featured offerings from a local supplier. The mandarin and lemon-lime I sampled wasn't bad although I would have also like some national brand options. The Wild West burger I got was okay. The meat and fixings were good but were brought down by the mediocre bun. My skinny fries were still pretty good. Like many businesses during these extraordinary times, it seems that Liberty Burger has had to make some pivots to save money. Unfortunately for me, a lot of it detracted from the previous experience I remembered fondly. At the very least, they should bring back the bun variety or have the counter staff be clearer that there are still options available. read more

Found this nice burger restaurant located in the Lakewood area. Plenty of seating inside with a full bar located right in the middle of the restaurant. This is more of a specialty burger place where the fries are extra. Ordered the Napoli burger and fries. I went on a Monday after 3 and there were only 6 others inside, so I didn't have a long wait for my food. Note- the fries are "skinny" fries- like shoestring. Me and my friends love eating their food, however we HATE their customer service. The last two times we've been there, our food has taken 30 minutes to come out. The most recent time, after waiting 30 minutes for our food, we were given dirty plates, and our food was made wrong. Yet I am constantly frustrated at how often they get orders wrong, leave off food, or just plain cook the food exactly how you DIDN'T order it. I'm puzzled why this place is popular. Went Saturday around five. Lots of juvenile waitstaff, but all standing around chatting among themselves until I asked if any of them were working. Burger finally arrived, but no beer. Kid said there was nobody there to get me my beer, but that he would get somebody. I'm still not clear what the issue was there. Liberty Burger has some of the best burgers around! I recently had the Give Back Burger which was stuffed with blue cheese cooked medium and soooo goood! They have huge onion rings that are great and excellent sweet potato fries (a bit overpriced for the serving size)! They have regular ketchup at the tables but a pump of chipotle ketchup that's much better! You can also order any burger bunless in a lettuce wrap! The Wild West is also good! So as a door dasher, I'll thought my job was to pick up and deliver food yet every time I come into liberty, Burger, the young kids, teenagers young adults not sure where they are at. Seems like they think my job is to make the sodas that's not my job if people order food through DoorDash app and your job is to fulfill the food order my jobs to pick it up and deliver. I really wish management would talk to their employees about these things because I don't have to deal with the attitude or the repercussion of an eye roll or the I said, thank you and they say nothing back because if they're mine, I'm doing something wrong no, no, no my job to pick up food and deliver to the house. Been eating here since they opened as they are just down the street from our neighborhood. Food and service have always been good for the most part and the Natural Cane Sugar soda they serve is delicious. Had no issues regarding masks or anything until today. 3 of us walked in to treat my buddy today since he's about to move and after we were already all the way in at the register, what appeared to be the manager, walked up and aggressively said we had to put masks on. (Keep in mind I've been in here at least twice in the past couple months with my wife with no mask). Apparently he felt the need to look cool and aggressive in front of his team. He said that indoor diners are required to wear masks, offered nothing outside and no masks either. We politely said "I guess we won't be dining here then" and walked out. I respect a business's right to require masks and they can also respect our right to take our business elsewhere. So that's what we did.
