Getting hungry; the husband needed food asap while we were out shopping. We had just finished some groceries from Sam's club and needed to pick up some items from Aldi's around the corner. As soon as we entered the parking lot, he went from regular Eddie to hulk smash if I don't get a sandwich soon. And that is how we found Latin Deli. It's small, quaint, and a cute patio on the outside. You walk in to a little almost what a desert kiosk would be like at the mall with a fountain soda station, and some cucumber lime, horchata, and Jamaica constantly tumbling I. Their tanks. The menu is extensive, from Latin crepes, to sandwiches and salads, to even breakfast items. I opted for some chilaquiles, it was tomatillo heavy and super acidic which made it delightful. The beef was well done and paired nicely to the sauce. I would probably sauce on the side next time but man it was scrumptious. Eddie ordered a salad but somehow got a sandwich, which he enjoyed so much more than he would've a salad. Should we have checked? Probably but he was hungry and he wasn't complaining. Service was quick and delightful. If there's any issues, is that this place is on the pricier side. It was $30 for both our meals plus drinks which came out to almost 40ish dollars without tip, so it turned to $50. Would we come again? Probably on pay day.
My food came out fast and the space looked very clean and airy! I paid a total of $19 which included tip, my sandwich, and fries. It is a little pricey, BUT my pulled chicken sandwich was SO GOOD. It was very flavorful and a decent portion. I would go back for sure!
Food was ready when I ordered, which is a plus in my book! Prices were also very reasonable. In my opinion the fries were some of the best fries I have ever had! I would recommend! My coworkers were not impressed but I did really enjoy my sandwich.
The service is okay, but they make it up with the food and cleanliness. The chicken sandwich is probably the tastiest, least boring grilled chicken sandwich I've ever had. The fries and the seasoning they use are unbelievably flavorful. Sweet, yet spicy. The fry sauce is also some of the best I've had. My wife had the Philly cheesesteak and it was great--I'd recommend the chicken over it though as you can get similar Philly steaks at other places around. The dessert was okay--chocolate dulce de leche cupcake. Probably wouldn't get again--it didn't feel fresh.
I ordered the Cubano and it came stacked with flavor. The meat was well seasoned, a little tough, but tasty enough that I forgave it. The sauce was great and the portion size was generous, which is always a love language. The fries were the real surprise. Perfectly seasoned with this tangy, sweet, and spicy mix that kept me going back for more. Just the right amount of salt. The side sauce? Delicious, with enough kick to be interesting without burning your soul. Latin Deli also has a massive menu and an equally tempting dessert case, which felt a little unfair because now I have trust issues. There were cakes, pastries, and sweets just begging me to come back, and honestly, I will. Final verdict: A Cubano worth ordering, fries that deserve their own fan club, and more sandwiches and desserts than one visit can handle. I'll be back.
Every Sunday in my family we pick a different spot for brunch and when it came around to my turn, I really wanted to try this place. It is an unassuming joint, located in a strip mall near an Aldi's but once you step in you realize you are in for a treat. The do a great job of creating ambiance and the food is absolutely incredible. The whole family was happy. And next time it's my turn to pick the brunch spot, we'll be going back.
As someone who is a lover of Latin foods, and has had hundreds of Chilaquiles in their life, this is the most disappointing meal I've had in my life. Not only did they use the wrong cheese, but the Chilaquiles were not cooked at all when the tortillas were completely raw, giving them no crunch at all, and they were completely floppy, not to mention that the flavor was extremely bland and not reminiscent of any red or green Chilaquiles that I've ever had. It tasted like they put a little bit of salt and queso on it maybe, that's the only flavor you get. Stay far far away from this if you are Latino or if you've eaten real Latin foods. My girlfriend and I can easily make a better meal that looks far more appetizing and taste 1000 times better on any day. I was really looking forward to this because the people on Reddit were hyping it up to have good chilaquiles but this is actually atrocious. You can tell that this was made by white people nobody in that kitchen has ever spent a day south of the border. The huevos rancheros were slightly better, but they were far from authentic as well. My Mexican partner agreed that both dishes were huge disappointment. I would remove the term Latin from this restaurant name and just call it Americanized Deli. EDIT: about an hour after eating here, we got food poisoning and started throwing up.
I visited Latin Deli when they first opened and loved it! Over ten years later, the food still stands! I loved the chilaquiles. Such a delicious feast. I added eggs and chorizo and would do so again in a heart beat. The coffee was strong and the outdoor patio was perfect for us with our dogs. Definitely a solid spot that is tucked away in Dallas
This place is amazing! I was in Dallas visiting my sister and she insisted we have lunch here and I'm so glad she did. She and my daughter and my son and I shared a sandwich each and I regret it, they were so delicious! The service is pretty quick and everyone is super friendly. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area which is where we started but went inside because it was still too cold. Whenever I'm in Dallas I'm definitely stopping in here for a sandwich!
Found this place while searching for a spot that had chilaquiles in Dallas. I'm so happy my friend and I decided to try it out this Sunday morning around 11, wasn't too busy and there was enough indoor and outdoor seating. We ended up going outside since the weather was so nice. We ended up ordering the chilaquiles chorizo, chicken sandwich, and mango cheesecake. Can I just say I've tried a handful of places in Texas to find the type of chilaquiles I've fallen in love with in San Francisco and this is the one spot that is super close to it. The sauce/salsa was amazing and I'm glad I got the chorizo. I didn't get a pic of the fan favorite aka chicken sandwich but my friend loved it and the way the chicken was flavored and everything else about it. I'll definitely get it next time or maybe even the chilaquiles with the chicken instead. Don't miss on trying this place out!
This is a small time shop with an indoor and outdoor seating. The chef who creates the menu has a great taste in food! There's many different, unique flavors. The place is very clean and the quality of ingredients are great too. They have a variety of coffee and pastry items. I recommend! :-)

We tried the place recently for brunch and had a good experience. My wife tried the chicken salad sandwich. I had the Cubano sandwich and my daughter had a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. Everything had great flavor. The fries were unique. We sat outside on the patio because it was a nice day, but were approached by an unhoused person wandering the parking lot. So, just be aware of your surroundings. read more
My first time here and not my last! Wish I had stumbled upon this place sooner. The set up reminds me of San Fransisco - such a fun vibe with all the bright colors! The chicken salad sandwich was unique and delicious - 10/10 yummy! The fries were covered in tasty seasoning with a dipping sauce :) I ordered the fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade and loved it. As someone who is a lover of Latin foods, and has had hundreds of Chilaquiles in their life, this is the most disappointing meal I've had in my life. Not only did they use the wrong cheese, but the Chilaquiles were not cooked at all when the tortillas were completely raw, giving them no crunch at all, and they were completely floppy, not to mention that the flavor was extremely bland and not reminiscent of any red or green Chilaquiles that I've ever had. It tasted like they put a little bit of salt and queso on it maybe, that's the only flavor you get. Stay far far away from this if you are Latino or if you've eaten real Latin foods. My girlfriend and I can easily make a better meal that looks far more appetizing and taste 1000 times better on any day. This place is amazing! I was in Dallas visiting my sister and she insisted we have lunch here and I'm so glad she did. Stumbled upon Latin Deli when I was in town looking for late breakfast. I decided to try this place because of their lomo saltado sandwich. While they took a while to cook our food, everything came out hot and delicious. The seasoned fries came on the side but I stuffed them into my sandwich for more deliciousness. I love the mom and pop vibe here. The people behind the counters were all laughing and really enjoying themselves as they were prepping the food. It just brought joy and good vibe to the restaurant. While they have a cute outdoor seating area with a bunch of plants, we had to move inside because of all the ants and mosquitos around. Sadly inside were a bunch of ants as well if you sit next to tables along the walls. I never experienced this issue at a restaurant before and I hope they fix this. read more

Holy guacamole!! Hands down the best Mexican torta I've had! Staff were friendly and suggested great options. Food came out quick, and was devoured quicker. Cucumber water was very refreshing as well. This will be in a monthly rotation at a minimum Turkey pulled was also super tasty!! read more

Went because we heard the Cuban was good. Well... not so much parts were dry and some was not. But the Philly was really good. I would suggest that. Fries were good small portion for the price and a few were not cooked all the way. It's not bad but not amazing. read more

Latin Deli is truly a hidden gem! They have DELICIOUS food... from pastries, to sandwiches and breakfast items. Whenever I go, I can't hold myself back from ordering the Chilaquiles Verdes w/ a fried egg (10/10). It's so good... and even better this spot has an amazing staff and relaxing vibe. Check out the beautiful outdoor patio area. If you haven't been here yet, go asap for breakfast or brunch! Trust me. :) read more

Great location, kind customer service. The Cubanos weren't the best we've ever had but they're still good here. We also thought the portion sizes would be a bit larger given the pricing. I'll try them again for breakfast because when looking around at the other tables, folks were scarfing their breakfast food down around 3pm. Must be worth trying! read more

Good place. It may be great but..... I had the pulled turkey sandwich. I didn't care for but it was probably more my tastes than a bad sandwich. Fries are very good but weren't crisp enough. I had asked for them well done but that didn't happen Very good value. Ill try again and hope to bump to a five. Went back again in March 2023. Had the tuna sandwich. Great! It was terrific! Rating still stands. I love this place. I've been here at least six times now, and I always get the chicken sandwich. This last time I decided to get the Cuban sandwich. It was really delicious and packed full with the meat. I love the cheese that they used there was so much pull. I did get extra mustard on the side because I don't feel that they had enough in the sandwich. Interestingly the chicken sandwich and the Cuban sandwich have a really similar flavor-that might just be the seasonings that they use. I do wish that they tasted a little bit more distinct. This time around I also got more fries than usual. So it seems their portion sizing for fries is a little irregular. My only qualm is that the bread does get a bit soggy even when you eat the sandwich immediately. The meat that they cook is super juicy and it can make quite a mess. That's not much to complain about! It's still really good! But I think I'll stick to my chicken sandwich because I love the addition of the vegetables. Also, my friend gets the Cuban coffee and she really loves it. read more

I tried something new this time around which was the Cuban sandwich which had ham, pork provolone, mayo, mustard, pickles and tomatoes on a ciabatta roll. The sandwich was toasted but what I noticed was the provolone cheese was toasted on the bread which was pretty interesting. The seasoned fries came with the sandwich as well as this magic mayo. Well I was blown away. The sandwich was so hot it burned my mouth! I loved it! Not only that it was FULL of flavor. Dip the sandwich in the magic mayonnaise and your experience is complete. Delicious is an understatement it was INCREDIBLE!! The pork in the sammich was thinly sliced pork loin or something but whatever it was it worked. The Fries are always delicious and seasoned well. Make sure you ask for ketchup then mix it with the magic mayo for the complete experience for your fries. Overall come here you will not be disappointed! Next time I'm coming for breakfast! read more

Not a fan of them... Think they're sweet potato fries but not cooked well but the sandwich makes up for it! read more
