Everything we've ever ordered here has been perfectly prepared, from soft omelette to crispy hash browns to gravy that does not congeal until you're done with it, my favorite breakfast place ever on this point. 3. Breakfast is always good here. The migas is delicious comes with beans, tortillas, salad, scrambled eggs with onions, jalapeño, tomatoes with cheese. Soooo good. Of course Tiki Hubby enjoyed the chicken fried steak with eggs. Great service staff so nice and the price is amazing. read more

Fantastic breakfast at Oasis on Jan 24, when most places were closed due to the impending winter weather. Bravo to Nancy and team for making the extra effort to be open. Eggs over easy and turkey bacon were the best I've had. Eggs cooked perfectly. I missed the cash-only sign on the way in and didn't have any on me. Nancy very graciously allowed our entire group to head to the ATM after breakfast, and we of course quickly returned to pay. I appreciated her trust. We'll be back soon. read more

My friend tried the chicken friend chicken. It was good but the chicken fried chicken was a little tough to cut. My SO tried the fajita chicken omelette. It was good but lacked flavor. He added a red salsa to it that was yummy! And salt, which made it better. I'm not sure if the A/C wasn't working but it was warm and felt humid in the restaurant. I came here for 3 reasons. 1. Yelp review average 4 stars seemed legitimate 2.Yesterday I ate at a place that takes no cash. This place takes only cash as pointed out in Yelp reviews 3.One Yelper says the place needs updating and the seats are bad...im in Ok I guess its 4. They didn't take cash. Today Im eating at a mom and pop owned for 40 years that,you guessed it Takes Only Cash!!!! Love it! So let me clarify a couple of things in light of some fellow Yelper feed back I received regarding my No Cash comment yesterday. I want everyting to be convenient for me the customer period. Im spending my money so If I want to whip out the Gold card Id like to be able to. If I want to lay a crispy C note with Benjamines portrait on it, I wanna do that. Taking cash leaves no one out. Not taking cash I believe restricts our rights and leaves a lot of folks out. Ok enough of that. Oasis restaurant has fantastic food at Fantastic prices. I was shocked when the waitress told me they'd been there forty years!! I've been up and down this street for 40 years. But the Decor of the place proves it. And the food is probably the most economical option you'll find in the area. The food is definitely a solid middle. It's not bougie, it's can be described as a midwest cafe style of cafe food. And I honestly really liked the decor, it remind me of my fiancé's parents house, who are a little Hispanic family that has tons of knick knacks on every wall and shelf. It gave it a really cozy & homey feel. It's odd though that they ONLY take cash or check- in this day and age it's pretty easy to get a little card reader for your phone.
