Everything we've ever ordered here has been perfectly prepared, from soft omelette to crispy hash browns to gravy that does not congeal until you're done with it, my favorite breakfast place ever on this point. 3. Fantastic breakfast at Oasis on Jan 24, when most places were closed due to the impending winter weather. Bravo to Nancy and team for making the extra effort to be open. Eggs over easy and turkey bacon were the best I've had. Eggs cooked perfectly. I missed the cash-only sign on the way in and didn't have any on me. Nancy very graciously allowed our entire group to head to the ATM after breakfast, and we of course quickly returned to pay. I appreciated her trust. We'll be back soon. read more

My friend tried the chicken friend chicken. It was good but the chicken fried chicken was a little tough to cut. My SO tried the fajita chicken omelette. It was good but lacked flavor. He added a red salsa to it that was yummy! And salt, which made it better. I'm not sure if the A/C wasn't working but it was warm and felt humid in the restaurant. Surprisingly this is my first time at this cozy little spot. This place is everything you want in a local owned business. There's plenty of regulars. The staff is super friendly. And the food is probably the most economical option you'll find in the area. The food is definitely a solid middle. It's not bougie, it's can be described as a midwest cafe style of cafe food. What a cozy little place. The food is seriously cheap, but it doesn't taste cheap at all. It tasted like homemade food, which is good. And I honestly really liked the decor, it remind me of my fiancé's parents house, who are a little Hispanic family that has tons of knick knacks on every wall and shelf. I thought it was a sign the night before from an old favorite song from the 1970s telling me where breakfast needed to be. The song was Midnight at the Oasis by Maria Muldaur and the Oasis Restaurant (or Oasis Cafe as some signage shows) was the plan! Plenty of parking and the place was packed when we arrived. The line was about 10 people deep and it was moving pretty quickly. More were arriving behind and all were willing to wait. That is sign the place is worth the wait. Within 5 minutes, we were seated at a quaint booth with lots of cow related items on the window sill, drinks on our table and a menu in our hands. I didn't see any camels, but sure saw lots of cows! I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs with Grits plus a side of pancakes. In a short time, it was out on the table. Excellent taste, hot and really good gravy. Not the highest quality steak, but very the flavor was WONDERFUL. The eggs tasted very fresh and the yolks were magically delicious! The pancakes were dark golden brown and quite filling. Service was top notch for a crowded place and drinks were kept topped off. They have a process with coffee cups to ensure decaf vs. fully loaded was perfect every pour. We came here on a Yelp recommendation . First impression is the cafe is worn and tired. We were greeted immediately and seated. The server was attentive.
