We returned here for the first time in 11 years, and it was as fabulous as our prior visit: 1. Cash/checks only- be prepared! 2. Everything we've ever ordered here has been perfectly prepared, from soft omelette to crispy hash browns to gravy that does not congeal until you're done with it, my favorite breakfast place ever on this point. 3. Outstanding service- your coffee is always topped off and your water glass never empties. Reading my review 11 years ago, it's as if nothing has changed here at all, a very beautiful thing. Fantastic breakfast at Oasis on Jan 24, when most places were closed due to the impending winter weather. Bravo to Nancy and team for making the extra effort to be open. Eggs over easy and turkey bacon were the best I've had. Eggs cooked perfectly. I missed the cash-only sign on the way in and didn't have any on me. Nancy very graciously allowed our entire group to head to the ATM after breakfast, and we of course quickly returned to pay. I appreciated her trust. We'll be back soon. read more

My friend tried the chicken friend chicken. It was good but the chicken fried chicken was a little tough to cut. My SO tried the fajita chicken omelette. It was good but lacked flavor. He added a red salsa to it that was yummy! And salt, which made it better. I'm not sure if the A/C wasn't working but it was warm and felt humid in the restaurant. We walked in and instantly fell in love! It is a diner with a small town feel in the middle of the city. The wait staff was beyond kind! Surprisingly this is my first time at this cozy little spot. This place is everything you want in a local owned business. There's plenty of regulars. The staff is super friendly.
