Came here on my drive home after a late night shift and this was one of the limited places open before 7am. Online reviews seemed to be pretty good and I love supporting local businesses. Stopped in for a to go order and was greeted by friendly staff with several making sure I had been helped. I ordered chilaquiles with the spicy red salsa (spicy is essential) and two egg and cheese breakfast tacos. The chilaquiles can be served with either beans or hashbrowns but I highly recommend it with the beans. The salsa did not disappoint! I should've known better...ordered from the Mexican breakfast menu and it was beyond disappointed/--migas with picked jalapeños, an unsavory ground meat they call chorizo....and the cheese on top was indiscernible...may be cheddar but don't bet on it. Somehow there were onions and tomatoes but they had no taste! Perhaps the other stuff in the menu is ok but stay away from the Mexican items...,service was as remarkable as the migas. read more

I was really looking forward to trying this place after seeing Chris Kahle's review, but sadly, our experience was disappointing. The service wasn't rude--it was simply nonexistent--and the food lacked flavor. We had a drink spill across our table and onto our food, yet no one offered to help. When someone finally came over, the response was surprisingly unhelpful. Our food was covered in juice, but the server only returned once to ask whether we wanted anything else before bringing us a $60 bill for food and drinks we could no longer enjoy. Our first time here. We come to the Costco Business Center every other Sunday or so, and we wanted to try something new. I came across Angela's Cafe and it looked so good. When we got here, we were greeted with such enthusiasm and professionalism where every employee here is so kind. You didn't know if you were walking into a convenience store or a restaurant - you had newspaper stands at the front entrance and gum and candy for sale on shelves. Our server is extraordinary and one of the nicest people ever. As for the food, it was delicious! So this was my first time at Angela's after my fiancé has been raving about it. As soon as we walked in, the waiter greeted us and showed us a booth. He was quick with his service and bringing us our drinks. And when I say quick, I don't think that word is actually the right word it was lightning fast. He seemed to know most of the guests that walked in the door and many of them by names so obviously they were regulars. He was extremely attentive and I wish I had gotten his name. he knew the menu very well and was able to answer any and every question. Coffee was good and hot and my cup stayed full. My only complaint is that I ordered a pecan waffle and the pecans were not actually in the batter but just put on top. After we had eaten, I decided I wanted to get a coffee to go from Xica Cafe, which is a small coffee spot inside Angela. I chose the Mexican mocha, which was fabulous! Breakfast at Angela's couldn't be any better. The service was great and welcoming as soon as we arrived. I had tried Angela's before years ago but never got around to making a review about it. Shout out to my Yelp buddy Guy H. whose review motivated us to try this place. We went for breakfast on a Sunday and luckily arrived before the big rush. I had the breakfast combo and really liked it. My eggs were cooked as requested, the bacon was extra crispy as requested, and the homemade biscuits were absolutely delicious: light and fluffy. I also got fresh squeezed orange juice. The wife had a waffle which she said was excellent, and her eggs and bacon (as add ons) were also really good. There really was nothing to criticize other than I did not get any ketchup for the hash browns. I was going to get corned beef hash but it was from a can so I passed. My standard for 5 star breakfast is Toulouse so although Angela's was a solid 4, even 4.5, it did not quite reach 5 stars, but I would return for sure. read more

Hard to find, tucked into a parking lot in the rear of a strip center. However, you will be glad you found this place! I hate to get too excited on my first visit but, I have a feel for places and I don't think my magnificent breakfast of Corn beef hash, hash browns, over-easy eggs, and biscuits was a fluke. My expectations of these types of cafes are low going in. I find most of them average. Average coffee, food, service. Not here. Everything is a notch above. Updating my review of Angela's Cafe since it's been a while. Went back this morning after a while because I really wanted blueberry pancakes and a classic breakfast. I was a little disappointed that the blueberries weren't cooked into the pancakes and that they were compote instead since that's not my jam (pun intended) but I should've asked before ordering. I will say I was pleasantly surprised at how fluffy and flavorful they were after trying it so thanks for proving me wrong Angela's! If you haven't tried their migas breakfast I recommend stopping by to try some with flour tortillas. read more

I went to pick up a salad for a friend for lunch. The website had the price. When I went to pick it up, I was told a different price. Decided not to get it because the price was different higher. I'm not sure who the Heavyset Mexican lady is .I'm supposing maybe the manager came out to my car and verbally attacked me.I stated that the price was higher than was on the website. She told me that they did not have a website but clearly you can Google the name and it comes up with a list of their prices ,phone number and address. She yelled at me. Very unprofessional.Very Threatening. I would not recommend going to this restaurant if they do not honor their prices and will be verbally attacked. Here we go, again! This cozy diner is very close to my house and the service is "normally" good. I went today about 1:30 and ordered the special of the day (Pastrami and swiss) with fries. There were 3-4 waitress/waiters standing around, but no one offered to help me; I finally went to a very kind hispanic man who was making coffee in the hallway; he apologized (seemed confused that no one had taken my order, just as I was). Finally, I gave a verbal lunch order to another hispanic guy and my sandwich came to me very quickly. When I go home (a 8 minute) drive, the fries were soggy and cold, the sandwich was full of dry pastrami and basically no cheese (1/2 piece of mystery cheese on one side of the bread and NO cheese on the other side of the bread; It was NOT swiss as advertised. This sandwich with tip cost me $11.61 + $3.00 tip. So, let's summarize.....poor service except for the lady who brought me my order, cold food, little-to-no cheese on the advertised sandwich. BTW, the man who took my verbal order never "surfaced" again from wherever he disappeared to. I am so, so disappointed because I really want to dine here often, I love the ambiance, the people who frequent this location, the type of food they serve, BUT........I can't keep doing this. I want my $ returned to me, but I already know neither will they respond to this review, apologize for my horrid experience or return my VISA charge. SHAME! read more

This joint needs a good overhaul! It's one of those restaurants that you see on TV shows where the owner has given up. There is too much stuff sitting around everywhere...so how can they clean??? I can't imagine how the kitchen looks. Thankfully (or not) I ordered to-go. A patty melt with tots. The sandwich had decent flavor but was really dry, and the tots were just okay.
