Really great breakfast. We came straight here after getting up before dawn and doing the waiting-for-the-in-laws'-delayed-flight-to-finally-land thing at Lovefield. We arrived starving, and the menu had something to make everyone happy. It was busy, but we were happy to sit at the long communal table (which was entirely empty at the time), so we were seated immediately. It's in a strip mall, so parking is not a worry, and even though the place was hopping, it was clean, welcoming, and we were able to carry on a table conversation without a problem. Our server Monique was SO wonderful! She was kind and accommodating. This place gets busy but we arrived at just the right time on Sunday, beating the post-church crowd. We opted in for the fall specials -- the maple bacon croissant and the honey chipotle chicken hash. My Fiance couldn't speak more highly of the croissant. The bacon looked sticky and peppery, and there was a jam on it as well that seemed to enhance the flavor. My hash was so freaking good! Full of flavor, great portion and you can't beat the price. My first time at First Watch is not going to be my last. I was pleasantly surprised at how many people were there for Sunday brunch with absolutely no wait time for a table, like I thought there might be. They do close at 2:00 PM, so that's even more astounding that I was seated so quickly. The pictures online don't do it justice; this is a very inviting and relaxing place to spend your late morning. It has an excellent layout that gives every seat a worthwhile view, lots of great menu items, and dishes that are brought out with supreme promptness. The Works Omelet was not only a healthy option, but it was so fluffy and filling, it could easily cure a hangover or two. And the coffee was delicious! Why is good coffee so hard to find? The fruit bowl was also amazing, because the secret to an ideal fruit bowl is to have tiny pieces of fruit because they pack the most flavor. It might be deceiving to the eye, but it won't be to your mouth. Finishing everything off, I was astonished at how inexpensive this all was compared to other brunch places with a similar menu. The promotional coupon they sent in the mail reduced my bill even more, so I left in a pretty good mood. Where other brunch restaurants fall short, have no fear, First Watch is here! read more

We were seated quickly but it took a while for the server to come to our table. I ordered my favorite drink (Purple Haze add a wellness shot). I received it without the shot and could tell from the coloring of the drink. I asked the server and she admitted that she had forgotten. The Holey Donuts were new to the menu and absolutely delicious. The Works Omelet was okay but the taste didn't quite live up to the food at other locations. I've been coming to this first watch location for over 2 years and today, we had the absolute worst service. As soon as we walked in, the lady that greeted us looked annoyed. I asked if we could sit at a booth and she told me they didn't have one. I looked around and there were like 4 booths open. Once we sat down, it took at least 10 minutes for anyone to come and ask if we wanted coffee, and another 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order. This may not be the biggest deal for other restaurants but this is the first time we've had to wait that long for a server to take our drink and food order. We had two veggie options, one was the hash Italia, a wonderful breakfast dish with eggs, potatoes, peppers, onions, cheese with a side salad or you can get extra potatoes and the most wonderful bread. Stores are always clean and the staff are always friendly . Recently tried their Million dollar breakfast sandwich. It's an item that they have temporarily.
