I will swear by any first watch, especially this one! I have been here a couple times and the service has always been so good and the food, delicious. We came on a Tuesday at 1PM and it was quiet and we thoroughly got to enjoy our food and drinks. I recommend the new Tropical juice if you need a pick-me-up! read more

Empty restaurant and they sit me next to the kitchen. Food was ok. Atmosphere was horrible. I will not be back

This place was amazing! We stumbled onto it and are grateful! I got the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and my son got the tri-fecta. Both were amazing! We also got the millionaire bacon. That was just WOW. I get the bacon at all the places... like twin peaks and Lazy Dogs... this was the best so far!!! All the bacon we love with maple syrup and pepper (not red pepper flakes) which made the heat more subtle. So good! Our waitress was super sweet with awesome energy. I forget her name, but she was blonde with two French braids. Overall, this place was excellent and I will be back for sure!!! read more

Popular spot on a Saturday morning filled with casually dressed patrons, ever-flowing coffee, and huge pancakes! I've were able to stop in with a 20-minute wait. Special thanks to the hostess who gave us water while we waited! The standout of our table was the Chickichanga - a saucy omelet topped with fresh pick de gallo. Waffles with whipped butter were familiar and pleasing and the kids menu offered several meal options for $7.29. Overall, a good stop for breakfast favorites in a convenient Dallas location. read more

Horrible service, it only took 30 min to get a frittata. We ask the waitresses for salsa and we got totally ignored. We had to get some Cholula sauce from the people at the next table. So disappointed. read more

I'm from out of town. I met some friends at this location, but now I know that they exist in Virginia too. I had no idea that First Watch is USA's new "Howard Johnson's." Chorizo omlet (with salsa), gluten-free toast, and some greens. The coffee is excellent and plentiful. It's good to know that pretty much no matter where I am in the country, I can have a tasty gluten-free breakfast. read more

We tried this neat breakfast spot on restaurant row at Preston and forest Sw corner where there are 5-6 restaurants. We have been here many times before the pandemic but this was our first trip since then. Sundays are always crowded but they have reservation system that allows you to get in line before arrival. The ambiance is good and the service is very acceptable for a crowded restaurant. I think the can serve about 80-100 guests when full. Additionally they have several other locations around the city. The food is generally good to very good on a consistent bases. However, this was the first place I had the millionaire bacon back in 2017. I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. The bacon is oven fried with maple syrup and a little red pepper flacks. But this time the bacon was a bust. Somehow they changed the recipe or new cooks not using the original recipe. I spoke to the manager at check out to share my opinion and he said thanks for the feedback. read more

Delicious. I got the beet toast. My cousin got the eggs Benedict Florentine and my other cousin got the vanilla chai pancakes with blueberry booster and coffee . Sunday morning our server did not make us feel welcome ... she didn't ask us if we wanted more coffee. I asked to leave the menu so I could order to go later on and she practically wanted us to order right away. I was in the middle of eating and felt rushed so I got it to go. I always come here but I felt very uncomfortable and not welcoming with the server. read more

I am always impressed with their locations and vast menu. We have been to the Frisco and Plano locations several times and this location has wonderful customer service and quick seating. They have a small seating area outside which would be nice this time of year. You can't go wrong with the pancakes and oatmeal. Awesome omelettes as well. Make sure you give them a try. read more

Ok. This was my first time at this location. I must say, "I'm impressed with this franchise's consistency at each of its locations. The food was AWESOME. This was a very busy location and I had an opportunity to use my "Nowait app" that has been integrated with Yelp. It was so awesome. From Yelp, I was able to see a live "wait time" for seating. I then checked it from Yelp by placing my name, the number of people in my party, and my cell number. This is where I was able to watch the time tick down until my name would appear for a table. I timed it perfect. I was about 20 minutes from the location when I began my check-in. When I arrived there was a huge waiting line. I walked up, gave my name, and informed them I checked in from Yelp. "Yes Sir. We have your table ready." Talk about feeling like a super star. The staff was great. The food was amazing. read more

Came here for the first time on Saturday morning around 10 AM. You can join the waitlist via Yelp. We waited about 20 minutes after arriving despite joining the way it was online before hand. Service was lacking, but I suspect the waitress was spread out too far. Other tables that were seated after us were served before us. Pomegranate Sunrise Brunch Cocktail - Tequila. Flavor is OK. Pomegranate flavor is not very strong. Morning Glory Brunch Cocktail - Vodka. Very watered down. Very weak alcohol content. Not very strong flavor, even orange juice taste watered down. Other spice flavors not present. It taste like a cup of orange juice that was watered down 3x. Chickichanga - Breakfast potatoes are soggy, but the flavor is good. Chimichanga is quite spicy; maybe medium to mild spice level. Flavor is OK; not super powerful, but not bland. Skillet Hash, Parma - Ordered poached easy eggs. Poached "easy" eggs came out hard. Sent dish back to the kitchen. 2nd time, one poached "easy" egg still came out hard & the other medium. Asked for another set of easy poached eggs & they came swimming in water - At least they were done easy this time. Very stingy on the cheese. You can hardly even notice it at all; you have to search very thoroughly for it. Breakfast potatoes are very soggy and wet, like they came directly from a boiling pot - the whole dish was swimming in water. Bland flavor. Italian sausage at least has a good flavor. Served with a small thing of berry mixed applesauce for the toast & a small ramekin of fruit. Pineapple was very NOT ripe. This dish was incredibly disappointing and I would not recommend it. I only ate about half before the texture was repulsive. I don't know how they do their poached eggs - they look like cottage cheese. You have to pay at the counter. Overall, I was incredibly disappointed with this experience, since I've heard so many great things about First Watch. Due to this experience, I would not recommend & I would not come back. read more

SO DELICOUS!!! My family and I came here for brunch hoping it would give us a good start to our day and it made our bellies beyond happy. Their menu composed of healthy and regular food, breakfast and lunch food. Everything we ordered was so good and we could definitely taste to quality ingredients. One thing that stood out to me was the egg white. I could tell that it wasn't from those cartons since I would some yolk in it, totally fine because now I know that it was separated in house with no added preservatives. The only reason why I'm not giving it a 5 star was because one of our coffee mug had a lipstick stain on it. However they happily replaced it. Definitely will be returning! read more

This place is amazing. The only two bad things about this location is the shared parking lot and the wait to be seated. This venue has a great selection of healthy/unhealthy items. I never knew healthy food could taste so good. Million Dollar Bacon - Four slices of thick cut bacon drizzled with brown sugar and syrup. Great item to share with friends. Avocado Toast - Thick whole grain toast topped with avocado. Very good dish. Plenty of avocado chunks and spice. This tasted amazing. Ham & Gruyere Melt - I was surprised that this sandwich had mustard on it. Good amount of meat. Wish it had more cheese. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - This gives Old West Cafe a run for its money. The pancakes are amazing and they bring you a bottle of warm syrup. read more

We have visited this place twice so far and let me just tell you, the food has been amazing both times. I am unable to recall exactly what we got on both visits; I do know for sure that we did get the waffle, bacon, and their breakfast potatoes and just those few items I am able to recall were so good! The potatoes are full of flavor; the waffle is soft and fluffy, melting in your mouth with each bite! It can get busy for sure so expect to have a short wait...they move quick. Liked this franchise in Orlando so decided to come here. When I called, the guy said no wait just come down. We were only 10 min away so I said ok. When we got there, there was a 20 min wait. While waiting to go to our table I overheard a guy come in and ask the hostess if she would seat their party of 13 now for $20. She took the cash and seated their party at 4 different tables. Probably bumping 4 other people later. That party also got to order earlier than we did even though we get seated earlier. I guess this location it's you get what you pay for. We thought we placed an order of the lemon ricotta pancake but instead the waiter brought us one pancake. He said because we said one he gave us one. Whereas the order says there should be 2 in and order. The one cost us $8.50 versus the two would have been $10. The one option is not listed on the menu so we had no idea you could order only one. The pancake was dry and definitely over cooked, but the lemon curd was delicious. The fritatta also was over cooked and very dry. Again I normally like this chain but definitely don't recommend this location. It doesn't appear to be up to par. read more

Sitting here relaxing and enjoying an amazing breakfast courtesy of First Watch. I absolutely love the hospitality and welcome feeling that I got here. Damian was my server and he was so nice, patient, and kind. It took me forever to decide what I wanted and Damian responded "this is not a drive through, take your time" and I did! It took me over ten minutes to decide what I wanted as they have a great selection of breakfast and brunch items as well as a summer menu. I decided to start with their morning meditation juice, which is a combo of beets, oranges, and deliciousness!! It was super refreshing and cool. I was so sad to see the last of it disappear in my glass. I finally decided to order the Market hash scramble that came with their house potatoes, two eggs any style, spinach, onions, peppers, mozzarella, spices, and even more deliciousness! The scramble was super fresh, warm, and gooey good! On the side was their thick multigrain toast and house made preserves. I tried the preserves and they are fresh and not overly sweet! I wanted to keep eating more, but I was stuffed from the side of grits that I ordered and the Turkey sausage! I love that First Watch gives you a good and fresh portion of food, so there are always leftovers. Also, I love that they use local items whenever possible. I will be back for the great food and service!! Amazing as always First Watch!!! read more

We decided to try this place today for brunch! I was soo yummy. Service was a little slow, but I assume that's BC they hadn't been busy for the past couple weeks and today was the busiest. Our waitress was super nice and very helpful when it came to the menu. I wish I would've gotten her name, but she was African American with braids and I believe she had some red in her hair. Super sweet and funny girl! We ordered the tacos and instead of beans I got potatoes. All which were so yummy! I'd never heard of this place before but I'm so happy we decided to give it a try. My friend got the waffle and she loved it as well. Great prices and good amount of food is given so you don't feel jipped. Will definitely be back! read more

I've had this place bookmarked for a while, so I'm glad I got to finally stop by. I liked the decor and that the kitchen was kind of open. I liked listening to the guys in the back calling orders when they were ready. When we got there there was a little wait. I noticed that the people up front aren't really loud when they call people to let them know their tables ready. Each time, everyone asked what they said, so if they can yell a bit louder that would be great. The staff was really nice though. I liked our server. She helped out when ordering and knew about the menu. The Food was really good. Everyone liked what they ordered. I got the Cold brew and the lemon Ricotta pancake. I would defiantly get it again, so I'll be back and would recommend. read more

I've been to different First Watch restaurants in TX, and this one wasn't the best experience. Met up with 3 girl friends for brunch. I do like that you can get in line through the Yelp app prior to actually getting there, because the wait is sometimes crazy. They seated me before the rest of my party got there which is another good thing. The bad things started when I noticed lip prints on my glass, one of the other girls had a filthy coffee mug and another girl had dirty silverware. Our server was really nice and managed to keep a level head as he got all of that sorted out. Then one of the gals ordered her eggs over medium... when I tell y'all that yolk was less than an over easy! When the food came out, it wasn't warm, and even though mine tasted great as always, this trip just wasn't a great experience, such that I have come to expect from First Watch. read more

First Watch a variety of breakfast items so there's something for everyone. I had the ice coffee and lemon ricotta pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy, the syrup was warm, and the lemon curd added a nice zing to lessen the sweetness of the entrée. The only issue was that the food took 45 minutes to come out. My friend had the cereal (I think it was cinnamon toast crunch) iced coffee and it didn't really taste like anything so I don't recommend that. read more

I think we may have caught them on an off day because the food was very inconsistent. We went for breakfast on a Sunday. The place is obviously popular because it fills up early. I am not a coffee drinker but my wife and mom said the coffee was too acidic. I had water, it was fine. I had the tri-fecta with scrambled eggs, potatoes, Belgian waffle, and I ordered turkey sausage. The eggs were not really cooked the way I requested and mine had no flavor, at all. Added lots of hot sauce to compensate. The potatoes were good. The turkey sausage was ok, but nothing special. I was expecting patties but they came as links. Not much flavor. I did not get a Belgian waffle, instead I got bread with butter. I had to re-request the Belgian waffle. When it came, it was delicious. The highlight of my meal. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Really, really, good. I would get that again for sure. My mom ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs. She loved her eggs. The biscuit was fresh and not dense. She liked it a lot. The gravy was not very good and very thin flavor. She did not like it. The wife ordered the traditional breakfast. Her eggs were good, but she ordered toast and got nothing. I gave her my bread with butter, which is not toast unless you toast it. It was not toasted. For me, there were too many missteps to give a 4 star rating. The place has potential as witnessed by the high points (waffles, eggs, potatoes) so we will give them another try at some point. read more
