Having never been to Bellagreen before, we were a little confused by the ordering process at first but quickly realized we needed to order at the counter. The service was a little odd because food came out in stages. My chicken wrap came out first, about 5 minutes later my husband's wagyu burger came out next and then about 5-6 minutes later my son's chicken and waffles came out. It was just odd since the everyone is eating at a staggered time or food is getting cold. The food overall tasted wonderful! Not sure I'd pick this place out again when we come to Dallas but wasn't bad. read more

The only time I forgot to bring my phone was to this delicious restaurant! I LOVE bellagreen. They have the most delicious food and salads! I got the honey fried goat cheese salad with sweet potato fries and carrot cake. The salad was HUGE and the fries were nice and hot. The carrot cake was absolutely scrumptious. I was pleased to see there wasn't a ton of people there so there was ample space and the interiors were clean as always! Everything was so good and fresh, best falafels I've had, nice lil spice to them and very flavorful.. Thr portion size were large, able to eat on everything for 2 days! Great tacos! I'll be back. When I chose to have lunch here, I thought I'd been here before, but was pleasantly surprised that I'd found a new spot. It's centrally located, a bit difficult to find parking around lunchtime, but not that hard to park around the other side of the collection of shops and walk between them. When you walk in, it doesn't feel like a place that has 9 locations across Dallas/Plano (2), Houston (6), and San Antonio (1)--it feels like an easy local lunch spot with good light food. You order at the counter, but the servers and staff are nice and attentive. I'll be back again and might try the Plano location. read more

stopped in on my way home for what I call lunchder, this is a combination of a late lunch with an early dinner. So I decided to have the house special, which is the brick oven chicken with grilled veggies and sweet mashed potatoes. This is a seat yourself restaurant you walk in and choose your own seat. Establishment was clean and the staff were friendly. I asked for my chicken to be cooked extra crispy / extra cook and they did a great job. The only negative was that the soda station was actually out of soda and needed to be refilled, but I still gave them four stars because the food was awesome. as for the dessert, the apple crisp was not sweet. I've been here on multiple occasions and have enjoyed each one. My go-to order is either the honey fried goat cheese salad with blackened chicken or the chicken caesar wrap with sweet potato fries. I like to come here with a group and love coming solo as well. For brunch, the lemon poppyseed pancakes are delicious and I love that they are gluten free. The food was average. The dishes come in big portions but the taste was lackluster. Very dry chicken. And they cut your pasta into smaller noodle pieces for some reason. Ambiance is great, Bellagreen tries to be like an upscale chipotle but ultimately fails to deliver. I am so glad I tried this place... I wish I knew about it sooner since I work so close. I like the variety of the menu and the focus on healthy options, and there is something everyone can choose from. Their serving portions are definitely good too. This place does get quite busy during business lunch hours, and saw the line wrapped all the way to the door. You order your meal first at the counter and they will bring out your meal to you. Wait time for the food is relatively short, which is nice. The staff were all nice also. Overall, it is a casual and relaxed restaurant. Noise level depends on what hour you visit. First time here. Just did a Google search for a restaurant in the area and this popped up. Lots of variety on the menu. You review a menu, walk to the countertop and place your order. Ordering was easy. You're given a number and the food is delivered to your table. Lots of options to choose from. The hummus was great! Our Angus beef burgers were cooked to perfection. The chicken parmesean was tasty too. Very pleased with the restaurant and great tasting food. So happy to learn they have another location in Plano and quite a few in the Houston area too. Overall, a great place. But if you want to keep your customers, loyal and returning, you should make sure that the cooks are making fresh french fries every time. The last few times I've gone I've had sweet potatoes that were cold and french fries that were cold. They remade me some french fries fresh but then I saw the cook mix it in with the old french fries and then put it in the box so now I have really good fresh french fries and then I get to grab some cold ones with it. read more

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, it was not a good experience. I ordered the Atlantic salmon salad, which initially tasted amazing. I was actually thinking I had found a new favorite spot. Unfortunately, that changed QUICKLY when I noticed a bug in my salad. I was completely shocked and upset.(first time this has ever happened to me ) Finding something like that in your food instantly ruins the entire meal, no matter how good it was before. When I told the staff, I expected a sincere apology and for the situation to be handled more professionally, but the response felt underwhelming. I did receive a refund for my salad. However, I was with someone else too and I had paid for their meal as well. I felt like the whole experience should have been refunded back without questioning it. I was also curious as to how this could have happened. I did not like the answer on that. The manager had informed me that due to produce shipment being delivered that there may be times where it could be left outside on the GROUND for a "minute" before they get to taking it inside due to the staff being busy. Overall, I left disappointed, still in shock.. and won't be returning anytime soon. Met some friends for lunch - I'd heard good things about the restaurant. Great atmosphere - bright, open - it was a beautiful day. Took a while to order - the lady at the register was new and struggling with entering an order. That's OK - everyone has to learn a new job. Knew what I wanted to order - the Fig & Pig Pizza sounded divine. Added a glass of pinot grigio, finished off with the bread pudding. The server brought me sauvignon blanc with the explanation that they were out of the PG. I declined it, so she offered a pinot noir. (a red vs the white I'd ordered). The servers should be a little more informed about their very limited wine selection. The pizza was beautiful. Soft, beautiful, crust texture. The prosciutto was abundant. Sadly, that was the only thing you could taste. There wasn't any visible fig jam, and only three or four miniscule dots of goat cheese. The saltiness of the prosciutto was so strong; it sorely needed enough of the fig jam to balance that. The tiny, tiny spots of goat cheese couldn't even be tasted. I was so disappointed. On to the bread pudding. It was beautiful - and didn't disappoint. The chocolate was superfluous - I scraped it off. The pudding with the fruit topping was absolutely delicious. It's a big serving - as promised. It was about three servings that I enjoyed from home. I'd go back, if only for this. Their menu is pretty extensive - I'll try them again and avoid the salty mess of the Fig & Pig. My friend's sweet potato fries were yummy and her turkey lettuce wraps looked great, too. this place is POPULAR! came on a wednesday night and it was PACKED. I got the fig pizza and a salad to share with the table. we chose this place because our friend is doing whole 30 so she had some more options to choose from. everything was good until they literally shut the lights off on us. like i understand they have a closing time but literally 40% of the restaurant was still full of patrons and they dimmed the lights so suddenly it was like i thought they were turning into a lounge/club or something. this is obviously a popular hangout spot so alot of us still left behind were catching up with girlfriends or family. there is definitely a nicer and less sudden way to announce you are closing; it definitely did the trick as everyone rushed up to the counter to get a to go box but it still felt a little rude. read more

Originally upon my first and 2nd visit I would say that this place was a SOLID 4 stars, however after my most recent visit the food and service was subpar. My children fries were cold, the cauliflower app came out GINORMOUS in regards to the pieces. They were unappetizing from the look as well as the taste as there was a lot of dough. I ordered the crab and avocado ceviche and the chips were stale and cold. I took them up and the woman said "we made them this morning" I said "they are stale I won't be eating them" and walked back to my table. Magically fresh chips (the way they should've been cooked with my order ) come out to the table. The ceviche was good so it worked out but again why can't you just send hot food initially. We left a $10 tip on a $60 check and I actually regretted it for a minute considering the initial responses to my inquiries. My regret went away once a manager showed up to the table to take note of the issues and places a giftcard for a dessert on the table which I left because it's not about FREE stuff it's about doing better as a establishment. I didn't take ANY photos on this visit as I wasn't pleased. The presentation was off as well, the photos associated to this review are from the 4Star visits. The process here is to order at the register and you receive a number to place on your table. The food is broke out as it's prepared (allegedly ). It won't let people put in orders because it says you're closed or closing soon even though you're still open for another hour or more. It's been going on for months and I've reported it several times but it's still not fixed. When I call to place the order on the phone instead, no one picks up the phone. I am sensitive to gluten and between this place and Flower child.... I feel that I have plenty of options to choose from. I used to come into Bellagreen but nowadays, I just have delivery through DoorDash. It saves me a lot of time and I can usually have my food delivered to my door in about 40 minutes.. One thing to know is that they are a cashless business so you have to bring your credit card to pay.. I like that they have a lot of gluten-free (wheat free) options in their main entrées and also in desserts... If you cannot tolerate spicy foods, make sure you mention it to the cashier when ordering because some of their dishes have contained jalapeño .. but you can easily tell them to omit the spicy options from the dish.. Service: This restaurant from them outside looked like a restaurant with table service but in actuality is slightly different where you place an order at the counter and the food is brought to you. I came in on Monday 1/8/2024 for lunch. Service was a mixed bag bit tended towards the positive. Reasons follow. The lady taking orders came off as unfriendly. Did not greet me as I stepped up to place my order. A different lady who brought out my order was the best. She noticed that I didn't pick up silverware and got some for me. She also remembered that I had ordered a hummus when I went to get a to go container and suggested that I take a dip couturier for it. The second server saved a star. So only one star off. Food: I ordered the Hummus as my starter and a goat cheese salad with blackened chicken for my entree . My main complaint is that both my starter and entree were brought out at the same time. That is unacceptable. It ruined the cadence of the meal. I just tasted a little bit of the hummus and just ate my salad. I took the hummus to go. One star off for that. Let's get down to the actual food. Salad was great! Portion was good, , chicken was cooked really well, goat cheese and the salad tasted fresh. Probably the most salad inhale had in one sitting at a time and I ate all of it. The hummus was disappointing. The hummus did not taste good and the pita bread had too much of red pepper flakes on it. Would not recommend the hummus at all. Ambience: There is plenty of seating inside. The colors are light green and wood paneling. Looks like they are going for a bright and health food kind if vibe. Reminds me of Original Chopshop's interior ha ha. It would be great for a group or just grabbing lunch by yourself. Value: The goat cheese salad cost $13.49 and the hummus is $9.99. The salad was well worth it but the hummus was not. Bellagreen has become a goto spot for me! There are so many healthy options on the menu from gluten free to seafood - all delicious. The kale Caesar salad is my favorite. I love that it's an elevated version of the classic salad with a spicy kick to the dressing, pickled onion, sun dried tomatoes and capers. It is consistently delicious and reasonable priced. For brunch I tried the lemon poppy seed pancake and the flavors were delicious. I love that they have a turkey sausage option on the menu. I love Bella Green! I've only been for brunch. Every time I leave full but also feeling great & not heavy like other brunch places can make you feel. I enjoy the bright ambiance & friendly service. My one complaint is the eggs are never cooked to the right temperature. The first time I went they were cooked perfect, but since then they've just been over cooking the eggs, which is a bummer & my friends eggs were really under cooked.
